"This decades-old family-run gelato shop operates two locations — one in Florence and one here. Not only is the creamy gelato ideal for Florida temperatures, where soft serve tends to liquify in the sun, but traditional flavors like almond, Italian coffee cake, and cream custard are a welcomed break from other sugary scoops around town." - Carlye Wisel

Google
This place hands down is delicious all over! The service was amazing! I accident lost a sample scoop of gelato and Jordan was very kind to let me have another one! The Juan, Jordan, Lena, and Janet team were 4 stars!

Kieren Ritter

Google
mint chip gelato was so good and the service was great. also most flavors were gluten free - they have all allergens listed on the flavor. the workers were all so kind and happy to be there. Juan and Jordan helped me, and a shorter girl (i didn’t catch her name but she was so sweet!) and were seriously so nice with smiles the whole time.

Aya Alkhateeb

Google
It was really good, I tried the POG and the pistachio flavours and both were really good, one scoop for 7.75 and two scoops for 9.75 One scoop is enough

Alejandro Coltat

Google
This was my first time trying a waffle boat, and it did not disappoint! The combination of flavors was delicious, and the concept itself is unique and definitely worth experiencing. I highly recommend it!

Alaina Cleveland

Google
I got the raspberry sorbet and it's absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is so nice in here. The lighting is beautiful. Every employee was so nice and kind and in general it was just a really good experience. Five stars.

Fab Matheus

Google
Excellent customer service! All the staff were super patient and helped me choose, recommending their favorite options. Juan was super friendly and let me try his favorite ice cream flavor: pistachio. And while it's not a flavor I'd normally choose, the pistachio ice cream at this place is simply delicious. I walked in as a customer and walked out with five amazing new friends: Janeth, Lena, Juan, Jenny, and Jordan. Thank you so much, guys!

Google
This was such a treat and a dessert place we haven't been to before while at Disney Springs. We have found yet another favorite dessert place to treat ourselves. If you like Cannoli's, you can't go wrong with getting one at Vivoli Gelato. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I want to update this review. It has been 5 months since our last vacation here, and we have once again come to Vivoli il Gelato for our desert after dinner. It is just as amazing now as it was then.

Maria Machin

Google
First time here and the customer service was amazing giving how busy it was. The pistachio affogato was delicious

Khanh M.

Yelp
If you love affogato, this would be a different level. Although it looks very simple, it tasted absolutely phenomenal. Staff were very nice. I guess we gotta get this when we visit Disney Springs from now on.

Souk S.

Yelp
Came here after a heavy dinner and just wanted something small and light. So many flavours and unlike many places at Disney the line up was short and moved quickly. We all had different flavours but I selected the cannoli which was amazing! Everyone enjoyed their gelato and was very impressed -SS Vivoli gelato was very delicious. I had the POG (passion fruit, orange, guava) gelato it was very nice and refreshing and the flavour was wonderful. I recommend this place.-MS

Yelp
The gelato that I tried was tasty and had a fresh flavor to it. The chocolate hazelnut with pistachio is my favorite combination and I was not disappointed. They have other treats there but I recommend sticking to the gelato. Servers were fast and friendly. Tasting was done with small metal spoons. Some seating is available.

Kalani G.

Yelp
Needed a cool treat on a super humid day at Disney springs and was very happy to stop here. The prices were decent, there was great service and they had the AC kickin! Which was a blessing. The shop is standing room only, you order and you gotta go but there's seating outside. My sorbetto was delicious and this is definitely on the must go again list.

Jasmine R.

Yelp
I tried the GUINNESS TIRAMISU (21+) for $11. It was delicious The employees were also great and very helpful.

Tiff H.

Yelp
The gelato at Vivoli Il Gelato is pretty goo! I've tried a few different items from the gelato menu now and have found prices to be a little steep for what they are, although I understand it IS located in the touristy Disney Springs. There is usually a little bit of a line - so try to visit during non-peak hours. I really liked the flavors and gelato consistency overall. The limited time flavor like the Dogfish Head Brewing Punkin Ale boozy gelato was definitely worth it! I also really liked the tropicale float, which changes up the classic gelato scoop with ingredients like sparkling water and whipped cream. If you're looking for a sweet bite after your meal, definitely recommend stopping by Vivoli Il Gelato!

Yelp
I've passed this place a couple of times when I'm at Disney Springs and wondered if it was any good. Despite the mixed reviews, I decided to stop in and give them a chance. It's near Boathouse and Jock Lindsay's Hangar Bar. The location has tables out front but nothing in terms of inside space. The staff politely greeted me and explained I could have 2 flavors per cup, regardless of size. I went with the smallest size (I think it's a kid's cup) and got pistachio and chocolate hazelnut. It was a little pricey but if you have a Cast or Passholder discount, you can save a little on your purchase. Gelato is a smooth consistency, maybe a little lighter than other varieties of gelato I've had before. Chocolate hazelnut was a little muddled as a flavor - I seemed to taste more chocolate than hazelnut in it and at times, it tasted a bit off. (It's difficult to explain, but there was something about the flavor that seemed off.) Pistachio was a good flavor. I think I've had better gelato at other places but it's not a bad place in general. Would I come back? Maybe not, unless I was craving gelato at the moment. Parking options include the flat surface lots and garages.

Jon A.

Yelp
People were nice, and pretty quick service. We stopped by this place after eating at the Boathouse, and the gelato was good. I had the chocolate mint, son and daughter had the same, and the wife had the coconut (she said it was mid). About $36 for the four of us, so not cheap for a small scoop in a cup, but pretty good.

Kaylynn A.

Yelp
I am a Gelato lover! And for this place to be located at Disney springs is even better. I ordered a scoop of Almond cookie which did taste good however I did also try Hazelnut and it was great as well. The line was a little long but definitely worth the wait. They also had other snacks to enjoy which is cool if whoever you're with is not in the mood for Gelato.

Rachel F.

Yelp
Vivoli Il Gelato offers an exquisite treat with their bombolato--a warm donut filled with your choice of gelato. I tried the PB&J bombolato, featuring creamy peanut butter gelato, tangy strawberry sauce, and fresh strawberries. The warmth of the donut perfectly complements the coolness of the gelato, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, coupled with attentive staff, is a must-try for gelato enthusiasts looking for a unique and delightful dessert experience.

Jennifer J.

Yelp
I was in need of an afternoon pick me up and ordered an affogato. You have the option of ordering any gelato flavor with your espresso. I opted for the cream gelato and got it to go. It's everything you expect an affogato to be. Strong bitter espresso with the velvety sweet gelato is a great balance. Staff was friendly, establishment was clean, and prices are a bit high. My affogato was $10.50. Be mindful, there is no indoor seating available.

Alyssa S.

Yelp
I got the pistachio flavor and personally the gelato here was waaaay to sweet for me. Tastes more like sugar than pistachio. However, despite other reviews, the service was fine for me. This place gets insanely busy so it's understandable that the employees aren't jumping to greet everyone. They're focused on efficiency while still being courteous. There's no indoor seating, but there is a lot of outdoor seating just in front of the store. They also sell things like waffles with gelato and floats.

Indiasky B.

Yelp
I was greeted and waited on quickly. She even offered to warm up the bambolini. I guess their service has improved? The bambolini was so pillowy soft and not too sweet. The cannoli didn't give me a definite blueberry flavor at first but it hit me after the second bite. This location is at Disney Spring.

Xee V.

Yelp
Love stopping by here for gelato whenever we're in Disney Springs. We visited around 7PM on a Saturday and it was really crowded. I don't remember what we got but mines was delicious.

Kadeem S.

Yelp
This was life saving gelato, the day was sooooo hot. The mango and strawberry gelato were delicious. The service was great despite it being uncomfortably hot.

Brittany M.

Yelp
I want to say for them being located inside Disney springs the staff here aren't very friendly at all! They rushed us on our order and when I finally ordered our jack o lantern the lady said ugh there not even that good... my eyes widened I walked away to pay and I got my float which was mostly gelato I asked if I could have the rest of the soda to help balance out the gelato and they told me no it's for the next order... I said okay and left. Guess what the float was a little bit of orange soda with vanilla gelato it didn't hit the spot unfortunately.

Andres A.

Yelp
After a long day of walking and eating, sometimes you just need some gelato. This place delivers with plenty of tasty options. I only wanted a small cup and they delivered. Service was quick with a smile. I definitely enjoyed it.

Kimberly N.

Yelp
Tried the ube tiramisu. There was plenty of cream, but the ube flavor tasted artificial. It was also more like an ube cake stuffed in a cup; there weren't any elements that paid homage to a tiramisu.

Lawrence U.

Yelp
Right in the middle of Disney springs. Ordered pistachio gelato and it tasted like pistachio. It was one of the better quality gelato I had. Also ordered the chocolate hazelnut, it was ok. Ordered 2 scoops & thought they were stingy with 2 scoops. Place was clean, and service was fast.

Netta K.

Yelp
The employees were rude and over all seemed to not care if they had customers or not. I tried to ask for recommendations and they couldn't give any, you work here and you don't know what is your favorite thing? I even got an eye roll... I ended up ordering a milkshake and no matter how bad the service they milkshake was on point! It was thick but not "eat it with a spoon" thick, with the perfect amount of caramel! If you are ever at Disney Springs stop in and grab a milkshake!

Ciera T.

Yelp
This place was really good for some quick gelato. The gelato is good but it's very sweet. We couldn't even finish a small but it was very good and had big flavor! They also had a lot of flavors to choose from so something for everyone as well as some additional baked goods. They server was great and offered my daughter a larger cup when hers was overflowing. The place is small, cute, and clean.

Mike A.

Yelp
Had some really great gelato recently at Vivoli. There's quite an abundance of food options at Disney Springs and a whole lot specifically in the sense of ice cream, gelato, cupcakes, and cookies. I had never tried Vivoli gelato before but I had only heard solid reviews. Luckily the line wasn't too long and they had a lot of flavors to choose from. The mint chocolate chip was smooth, creamy, and had a lot of chocolate chips. I really enjoyed and think you will too.

Catt A.

Yelp
Delicious gelato- it is expensive but inside Disney springs everything is pricey. The donuts are very authentic tasting and the gelato was full of flavor. My children enjoyed their waffle bowls. My little one was especially delighted to find a guava filled donut.

Hannah H.

Yelp
Best flavored gelato around! I even appreciated that he was willing to go in the back for the banana flavor even though it wasn't out as an option that day. Friendly staff with great customer service skills as they seemed happy to greet you when you came in the shop. Scoops are a reasonable size - they don't skimp. A little expensive but it is Disney Springs and is to be expected. Will come here each time I visit because you can't go wrong with this gelato!

Andrew N.

Yelp
Ever since a trip to Italy a couple years ago I've become the occasional fiend for gelato. Not sure how Vivoli flew under my radar for so long but it was time to change that. I visited on a Sunday evening after dinner, weather was a little on the cooler side but there's never a wrong time for gelato. Paid a little over $8 for 2 scoops: I picked strawberry and lemon (I figured they would pair well, my backup involved vanilla). I was pleasantly surprised! Packed with fresh flavor and a light texture. I'm glad it wasn't hotter cause I was able to take my time savoring it. I regret not trying this place sooner but it's definitely on my list for the future when I'm down at Disney Springs.

Mildred L.

Yelp
Stopped by the cart and had the best mint chocolate chip I ever had! Very refreshing on a hot or cold day.

Martha G.

Yelp
Came here to try the bombolonis. Definitely recommend the cream filled ones. The Nutella ones were not bad either but the cream filled ones ended up being my favorite. Get minis if you feel you can't finish a regular sized one. Service was friendly and there was no line.

Stephen W.

Yelp
One of the more comical ice cream shops I've ever been to, I'd say. Lady serving the ice cream had no clue what a Stracciatella was even though she is working at an Italian gelato shop... She also dropped the cup of ice cream on the counter and decided to hand it to me afterwards as if that weren't a big deal rather than make me a new one. I won't be caught dead going back to this place. Pure comedy.

Rachel D.

Yelp
So good! The cherry gelato is delicious! I will definitely return next time I'm in town!

Jill B.

Yelp
Vivoli at Disney Springs is so good we indulged twice! Saturday night my husband selected a cookie sandwich, my youngest daughter went with strawberry gelato and I got a Cake Batter Shake. Sunday night two of my daughters got the strawberry gelato, my oldest went for the Cake Batter Shake and my dad chose coffee and cannoli flavors. While Vivoli isn't new, it was new to us and we'll definitely return in future visits. Ghirardelli has a much larger store front and has been around as long as I can remember, so Vivoli is at a bit of a disadvantage with it's smaller store front and being a newer addition. Vivoli is located in the section of Disney Springs called 'The Landing'. It's a bit tucked away between Wine Bar George and Joffrey's, across from Jock Lindsay's. The Orange Deck is the best parking garage - the side closest to Planet Hollywood.

Danielle S.

Yelp
Decided to go here for dessert and was disappointed. I got chocolate hazelnut and my fiancé got chocolate. Both of them really lacked flavor and to top it off, it was around $13 for KID scoops! We eat a lot of gelato, and this tasted like ice cream. The quality is not fully there.

Lisa R.

Yelp
No samples allowed , the cake batter was meh wasn't what I was expecting but she said it was made from cake mix. Quite pricey only because it was out at Disney Springs I assume . Nothing to say no photos to posts because well it was just ok~ give it a try I only got the kiddie cup I. Case I didn't like it because of course I was not allowed to try it and I was watching my calories and my hubby like to make bad decisions like getting desserts !

Emily H.

Yelp
I have been to Vivoli II Gelato and it is such a great way to cool down while walking around Disney Springs. The first time I came here, my parents and I got the mango sorbet to share! Delicious and refreshing! The following time, the line was so long! It was probably because school was out and it was so hot outside. The second time, my friend and I shared a gelato shake and wow, it was so good! Very creamy and filling for sure.

Jj A.

Yelp
Gato here is Amazing! I Love the flavor options they have. Theres So many to choose from. I got The Dulce de Leche and added caramel sauce. It was delicious! Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Its a small shop but they have seating available outside.

Rie K.

Yelp
Vivoli il Gelato As a dessert after a nice meal at a steakhouse, we came to the gelato place nearby the dinner place. Looked like a non-chain, local small shop even though it was right in the middle of Disney Spring where a lot of chain stores gather. There were both gelato and sorbetto and they had pretty wide variety with some interesting flavors - pumpkin coconut, maple pecan, dulce de leche etc. I got pistachio and tiramuisu and I liked them both. Pistachio was not too sweet and had some roasty flavor, which I really liked. I wish the texture was a little bit more like non-ice cream and light. The bright ambience and the nice service was also positive and I would go back there again to try some other flavors too.

Victoria K.

Yelp
Extremely disappointing. We have eaten gelato at Vivoli in Florence years ago, and remember loving it. Recently we visited Vivoli at Disney Springs, and the experience was not that great... The gelato was much less creamy, kind of icy actually in texture. Could have been an off day, I dunno, but if it was then that's a lack of consistency there. We tried a few different flavors, and found the gelato actually sticking to the roofs of our mouths, like a greasy slick on the roofs of our mouths (the same for all 4 flavors we tried, so it wasn't a single bad batch). I think the gelato had separated, yielding an icy texture with the milk fat sticking to the roof of our mouths. It was a very strange texture, and we didn't enjoy it. With that said, we tasted several flavors before selecting the ones we would purchase, but none of them really impressed me. Even the flavors I know I like were just meh. I had recently eaten some of the best gelato of my life in Prague (believe it or not!), and coming back to the US to eat the gelato here was a huge let down. I had been looking forward to this visit for years, having made the pilgrimage to the original Vivoli in Italy, but it was NOT the same. I wouldn't return. I wanted to like it so much, but it was a major letdown for me.

Larissa J.

Yelp
I wish I had the words to describe this place. I've frequented Disney Springs my entire life, but have never stopped into this place. The staff was extremely kind, as one can expect when at Disney Springs. The inside of the shop brings about nostalgia and comfort. The baked goods and gelato weren't as overpriced as the rest of Disney Springs often is, and by the taste alone, it was well worth our money. Definitely a great spot to take a break from the Florida sun.

Dustin T.

Yelp
Probably the worst gelato we've had. No one in our family enjoyed it. It was very expensive and tasted artificial.

Timmy S.

Yelp
I first heard of this gelato place while watching an episode of "I'll Have What Phil's Having" on Netflix. In it, Phil enjoys gelato at the store in Florence, Italy and proclaims it to be the best he's ever tasted. No additives or preservatives in their gelato. Soon after this show aired, I learned Vivoli opened locations in New York and this one at Disney Springs in Orlando. I walked in and was greeted by a sweet employee who offered sample tastings. I decided to go big and got a "grande" size which consists of four scoops. I chose dark chocolate, amaretto, salted caramel and coffee (which had pieces of espresso beans). Each flavor was creamy and bold. Gelato perfection. If you are anywhere near Walt Disney World...just go.

Erin J.

Yelp
I was not impressed with the hot chocolate gelato. My daughter loved the ultra sugary valentine special and my boys enjoyed their gelato.

Leang E.

Yelp
I was craving something sweet after lunch so this fit the bill. I wasn't able to have any samples which was disappointing and hadn't ever come across that before at an ice cream or gelato shop. I had a few I wanted to try to make my decision easier. I felt like I chose blindly which I hate and got the rice pudding. It was good but psychologically I was still ruminating if I had chosen another it would have been better. Pricey because maybe you are at Disney, and service just ok.

I G.

Yelp
Great selection of gelato flavors and very friendly staff. We are huge fans of Nutella bombolini.

Stephen M.

Yelp
I was walking through Disney Springs with my youngest when we saw the sign for the Jack-O'-Lantern shake. I asked if they would like one and they said yes so we went in. We took a moment to look at everything they had and at the menu. Everything looked truly fabulous. They went ahead and ordered the shake and I talked to the employees. I asked if they had anything that was sugar free as I am diabetic. They explained that they did not. I was saddened by this as I really would have liked something but should not have it. The shake looked really good and tasted great. It was basically a vanilla shake with a hint of orange.

Lissete D.

Yelp
My husband was craving a little something sweet after I had inhaled my own treat from Amorette'. He settled on gelato since he didn't want to make a line to get a cookie from Gideon's. The staff was friendly. The prices are surprisingly fair for Disney. He chose pistachio and it was good. He enjoyed it and I got a taste. This is definitely a good option for a quick sweet treat.

Trang V.

Yelp
Delicious and adorable little ice cream place located in the heart of disney springs. The ice cream and coffee are pricey here but the quality is great. They have a lot of outside seatings and it's great because the water car show is right accross from there. We had the peanut butter which was very creamy and full of flavor.

Eric H.

Yelp
Pretty standard gelato-nothing special. I had salted caramel and sweet cream, and both tasted good. No complaints there. The staff member who served me was not engaging and didn't really want to offer any suggestions on what the house specialty was or any kind of tips on what would be good.

Steffie T.

Yelp
My review is based on the breakfast we grabbed from there. Ehh, it's Disney so the prices are to be expected, but I wish I enjoyed it. What you order is what you below-than-average get. As the only customers in the middle of the morning, it took them very long to make our orders, only to be packaged in a way that collects moisture and makes the food soggy. I believe they made it from scratch, but the prepackaged ingredients (also to be expected) were just so evident. In this area, you really should make a little extra time to go to one of the nice sit-down restaurants, especially since you'll be spending a pretty penny anyways. A positive thing about this spot is that at least the portions were decent.

Dominic T.

Yelp
Excellent gelato. Once we tried it, we came back every time we visited Disney Springs. The rice gelato is to die for. Not too sweet and tastes amazing. The rice is a little chewy when it's cold and taste great. Can't say enough good things about this place. One of the best gelato places I've ever tried.

John D.

Yelp
We like gelato, eating it frequently at home. It's a nice change from ice cream. We came across this place after eating and decided to give it a shot. I double cup with rum raisin & black cherry and a single scoop cup of cheese cake. These were served more like ice cream, rather than smoothed out like we have been used to. But each flavor occupied 1/2 of the cup. The texture was "grainy", not the usual smoothness. So those are the differences. What didn't change was the taste. It was extremely flavorful. I'm definitely a fan of the rum raisin. The black cherry and cheese cake were also good. I think the cheese cake was a stretch. We've never seen it before. Yet it worked. This is definitely a do again. A solid 4 (my 5's go to the best of the best). If you like gelatos and are in Disney Springs give this place a try.

Lori C.

Yelp
Walking along in Disney Springs we spotted a big sign outside Vivoli II Gelato advertising PB & J Bombs. Well, of course this was something that was new and looked delicious so I went right in to get one. To my dismay, what I actually got and what was in the photo was SO grossly different I will never bother to go back again. When we sat down to enjoy our "bomb" my husband and I seriously thought it was made wrong. He took it back inside to get it fixed and the CM said it was exactly how it's supposed to be. They confirmed it only gets 1/2 a scoop of gelato. Ummm...the picture clearly shows a full scoop. In fact it's so full in the picture the top and bottom halves of the pastry don't even touch. As you can see, what we got was not at all what we thought $10 would buy. Seriously, you need to do much better. Bait and switch with this one. Two stars for the fact the flavors were good and that's being generous.
