VN Sandwich - Review - Smyrna - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The focus at this Smyrna spot is on sandwiches—specifically bánh mì. But if sandwiches aren't your bag, there are other options like wings, phở, and bún. Smyrna tends to hide its best restaurants in nondescript shopping plazas (we're looking at you Tacos La Villa), so we're keen to get to VN Sandwiches and see if it continues that trend. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Juli Horsford

This restaurant has some AMAZING food. I had the Shrimp Pho noodle soup, 6 piece hot wings, and lemonade tea. The staff were very friendly and the ambiance was great. Also the prices weren’t too bad. I’ll definitely be back soon.

We’ve been a few times and are very appreciative that they are making their own bread! My husband loves the chicken pho, the brother is light and rich at the same time. I really love the Bahn Pan, four proteins: sliced pork, meat balls, a fried egg, all over stewed beef in a tasty sauce. I loved my Banh mi too. We got the beef rice noodle dish, and while the flavors and vegetable roll were really good, the beef was a little tough but still tasty. Maybe it needed a little longer braising. The boba milk tea is quite tasty and they will adjust sweetness on some drinks for you. The staff are friendly a nice and it is always clean. We’re happy to have a nice Vietnamese option close by and will continue to be customers!!!

I just returned from Hanoi in August and spend 30 days there. Since I have been back I have struggled to find a place that had specific items that I fell in love with while there like fruit teas with REAL Fruit in them not flavors. I would recommend this place to anyone the food was delicious with great pate and fresh veggies with drinks with real fruit best all rounder since I got back A+ guys keep up the good work. New favorite place for the weekends

We have been waiting for something this amazing on THIS side of town. We have some favorite places on Buford Hwy, but it’s sssoooo far! This place was fantastic! We both had the Special Bahn Mi, an order of pork egg rolls, and a HUGE bowl of the Pho (steak). I can’t recommend this place enough. GO!

First time at VM and it was amazing. I had the pork ribs and rice along with egg rolls and chicken wings as well as their specialty mango sweet tea. Yes. BIG BACK BEHAVIOR, but had to so it!!!Staff was extremely friendly despite being super busy around lunchtime rush. I'll definitely be back because they have great menu options for literally anyone that loves to eat.

Came in on a cold and rainy day to warm up with some pho. I got the brisket and it was SO DELICIOUS!!!! Very generous portion of everything. Every possible condiment you’d want to add to your pho including homemade chili oil. Complimentary lemon water available when dining in. It was so filling I didn’t need dinner that night. I loved it and have been daydreaming about it since! I’ll definitely be back soon. (I’d love to take my young kids also, though I’m unsure what they might try. TBD on kid involvement.) Thank you!!

We got: 2x Pho Dat Biet (house pho), a coconut matcha, a viet ice coffee, and a smart water. We paid ~with tip $60. There was a bit of a wait, about 15 minutes and like 4 people ahead of us. The place was very clean. Once we ordered, it took about 10 minutes to get our food and drinks. The pho bowls were huge and were only one size, me and my wife could definitely share one. The pho came with plenty of herbs like culantro, basil, bean sprouts, lime and there was all the typical sauces, with a few that looked like they were made in house. The food actually came with a small cup of what I think was a very light green tea. It actually was extremely refreshing and nice to sip between bites. The pho broth itself was relatively clear. It was slightly sweeter than normal, and lots of aromatics. The noodles were good with a little bounce. We got a good portion of meat. Brisket, flank, tripe, and tendon. All good quality. Overall great. The coconut matcha was cool because the matcha was sat on top of the coconut water. We shook it before we got a picture lol. It was the perfect amount of sweet and so good. The Vietnamese coffee was thick and creamy, lots of ice though, but that’s to be expected. It was a good quality drink for sure! Overall I would definitely come back!

Google
This place is truly run by real Vietnamese people who make the food themselves. The bread items beautifully showcase the harmony between the spirit of Asia and the elegance of French baking culture. The noodles fell a bit short of a true specialist’s touch, but the broth had an authentic local flavor.

Yelp
The restaurant was easy to find; right in a small strip of stores right off South Cobb Dr. The place was clean and well lit; featuring the full menu posted on the wall. I was greeted and welcomed in. I took a little time to read over the menu, and I finally settled on a bahn mi with grilled pork, 20 wings; 10 lemon pepper and 10 barbecue spicy with fries. There was an option for fried rice with the wings. I'll try that next time , when I come back for the pho. Everything was fresh , hot , and nicely cooked and seasoned. The bread for the bahn mi would be great on its own, with butter . There are many drink options to choose from; teas, tropical juices, and sodas. Overall, I really enjoyed the food. The prices are very reasonable!

Yelp
Down-grading to a three. Ate/dined there again this past week. The pork was fatty and almost not edible. The spring rolls were dry and hard. Very disappointing. The only thing that was good was the passion fruit tea. In a restaurant, quality and consistency is key to the success. Will give a third try... Three stars. Not recommending...

Yelp
10/10 Experience From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the service was top-tier, and the food? Absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I had the Pho, and it instantly earned a spot in my personal top 5--rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The bành mì sandwiches were top tier too--crispy, savory, and packed with flavor. I'll definitely be coming back soon!

Yelp
Really delicious vegetarian pho! I am not even really a fan of pho but the flavors were so delicious and it was very fresh, definitely want to go back for their bahn mi

Yelp
If you want best vegetarian pho, this unassuming restaurant is the right place. Their broth is out of this world and recipe is imported from Vietnam that this family followed. I also tasted their boba tea and their boba is nice and warm when the drink is handed to you. If I ever go on the Silver Comet trail for a bike ride, this place will be my treat.

Yelp
Great food and service ... bubble teas are very good, too! ... I had their coffee and it was delicious

Yelp
I really love their sandwiches, especially the combination. Beef version was mid. Eggrolls were crunchy and crispy. Thai tea has a great mixture. The sugar cane thought has a taste of lime in it. Pho was great too! Great service and the place was clean and nice. I was able to dine in and relax. Hoping to eat more there!

Yelp
A bit pricey for this type of food. It's definitely not "Buford Hwy" pricing but it's convenient and quality is okay. I will continue to support small businesses and to help bring more diverse food into West Cobb.

Yelp
Best Bahn Mi for miles around. Super fresh, best beef ever, and loaded with veggies placed in a lovely crunchy French baguette!

Yelp
Casual vibe! Order at the counter and grab a seat! Friendly service! Coffee and condensed milk....wow! Sugarcane juice...wow! Pork bahn mi and steak bahn mi...double wow! So flavorful! So happy! Will be back to try everything else! Luckily, it's right around the corner! Welcome to the neighborhood!!!

Yelp
Coming home for vacation always brings a little surprise! I had no idea they opened a Bahn Mi spot right around the corner. As soon as I heard about it, I couldn't resist checking it out. Let me tell you, it's hands down the best Bahn Mi in Marietta! They've got a bunch of other tasty Vietnamese dishes too. I can't wait to dive into the rest of their menu!

Yelp
I took my Vietnamese friend there for Pho, it's his favorite. It smelled so good. He said it was authentic and was very good. They offered 5% off if you paid with cash. I wish more restaurants did that. The staff were very nice, and it was very clean. I really recommend the Pho.

Yelp
It's okay... they made my sandwich wrong 3 times. Eventually, I just took it anyway. The prices of their pho is pretty ridiculous. I'm not certain I would attempt to try it at that price. My friend got the chicken pho, and it did not taste authentic to me at all. They also took a really long time to make my drink so that came out last, and I'm not sure how.

Yelp
Small family owned business. Tasty sandwiches. Friendly service and small but good menu. They are still doing a soft opening so not offering everything on the menu yet. I would definitely go back.

Yelp
Very fresh and delicious! I had the special bahn mi and the bread was perfectly light and crisp. The flavors were great and price was very reasonable. I also had the matcha boba tea and it was also delicious. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other menu items! The staff were also friendly and welcoming and the restaurant was clean.

Yelp
Food was delicious! We had a pork bahn mi and a special bahn mi - perfect bread stuffed tender meat and crispy veggies. Also had a side of spring rolls that were flaky and not greasy. We can't wait to go back and try the pho! Service was friendly and efficient. We're so happy to have this place in Smyrna!

Yelp
Their food is different and tasty. We had the pork and chicken sandwiches and an order of spring rolls. Everything was fresh.
