Volare

This place is such a classic Italian restaurant. Its been around for such a long time and has built up so much character over the years. Its low-lit rustic feel puts you in the mood to eat. The food is fantastic. The chicken parm is paper thin, the halibut is firm and flavorful. The desserts are rich and thick. Every part of the meal was washed down with great wine. Definitely a great hang out spot for the real ones.

Drinks were great, wait staff on point. Chick parm melt in your mouth. Nice calamari, fresh salad. Definitely worth a visit.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to; fantastic service, unbelievable food, and a welcoming atmosphere. The first time I'd ever gone, I walked in and immediately felt like I was being greeted by family. Didn't have to wait long during a pretty busy night for each course to be served, and I cannot stress enough the quality of the food or the friendliness/professionalism of the staff. Amazing. Want to return ASAP.

We hosted my Mother's surprise birthday party here over the weekend and could not have been happier with our experience. Working with Sal, one of the owners, made the planning process smooth and easy. Volare has an excellent reputation, and from our party, it's clear to see why. The food was amazing, the service impeccable and the vibe of the restaurant is so relaxed you feel like you're in your own home surrounded by friends. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making my Mother's party such a success!

A wonderful experience! We had my daughter's wedding reception here this past weekend. The food and service were both spectacular and priced very reasonably for NYC. Falco went more than out of his way to execute a tremendous wedding party. Word of advice: come hungry, you'll need the added space.Such a great place! I wish I could come back soon!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I live in Jacksonville FL and heard wonderful things. Sal gave us the full experience. We never even looked at the menu, just told him what we liked and they absolutely nailed it. Same with the drinks. I will come here any chance I can!

No lunch specials and overpriced cocktails today. Large portions but hefty prices do not make it worth a visit. The place was almost empty. Perhaps with more reasonable pricing they could get more of a crowd. Many alternatives with fair pricing are available locally.

Always passed this place when I was a kid. So, took my date here and the service at this place is first class all the way...this is definitely something that is missing from the restaurant business in general. Sal and the staff are amazing. They make you feel comfortable and continuously without fail work the entire room making sure everyone is having a GREAT time. This is a hidden gem in the city....vintage NYC....an amazing experience and Perfect for a first date. Sal, see you soon!
