Volcano Grille

I tried calling to place an order at the Durango location but couldn't get through so I placed a $300 order online and tried calling a couple more times to ask them to number the containers 1-7 per the order on the receipt. There was no way to add a note or names to each plate online. When I arrived, I explained this to the cashier, who upon me entering was mid laugh with the cook in the serving window. He apologized and stated it was only him in the front.  Since there was now condensation inside of the food lids, it was hard for him to see what was inside.  (Hence, the convenience of writing what the order is on the lid.) That small addition could have prevented me from opening everyone's food, but at least it was easily identifiable once opened.  With the exception of two orders that were and looked identical but one was to be cooked without butter due to allergies.  We couldn't determine with certainty which one it was, unfortunately. The guy in the front did take time to explain which sauces were which by explaining the color and texture of each. Although this took a minute, I appreciated this as being referred to the website to compare images for sauces as he initially suggested would have added even more time to my "meal sorting". The food looked good and was delicious for the most part.  Some of the Japan fried chicken was not crispy on the outside and a little hard on the inside. However, with having it packaged for pick up, the lack of crispiness makes sense. I then asked how I could receive the loyalty points for this order after having signed up.  He was not sure how it worked and said to wait to see if they are added in a day.  There is no QR code on the receipt or anything.  He said since they are independently owned, they aren't set up that way. Well, despite being independently owned, there are a few takeaways here... think Domino's and answer the phone even if you need to place the caller on hold. Think Chipotle and write what is inside the container on the foods lid. Think Buffalo Wild Wings and add small stickers for sauce labeling. Think DQ and add a QR code to receipts for loyalty points to be added via scanning. Finally, add a notes/allergies field to your online ordering platform if possible. To be fair, I can only imagine what it would taste like fresh from the kitchen to the table, so I will be trying them again. Maybe dining in will be a different experience overall.

First time here and it was amazing! Brooklyn was incredibly patient and so sweet! Businesses now a days should take note on how to treat their customers because she and the woman in the back (who’s name I didn’t catch but she complimented my sister’s purse) were so welcoming and friendly! Ladies supporting ladies haha 💅💅💅 The food was great and highly recommended their yumma sauce. Make sure to get extra (thank me later) 😉 10/10 will be back again!

Food was the bomb!!! So good and tasty. Rich flavors and freshly cooked meats is so good. Large portions and plenty of extras. I seen that picture on Google and had to order it. Did not disappoint and recommend the restaurant to you. Go try it. I did. Wow. Good job guys

Volcano Grille in Las Vegas absolutely hit the spot—again! We’re from out of town, and every time we visit Vegas, this place is a must-stop for us. The food is consistently fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and served up just right. It’s one of those rare spots where you know the quality is going to deliver every single time. The vibe here is always high-energy and welcoming, which makes it such a fun place to eat. A big shoutout to Summer, who took our order with such genuine friendliness. She checked in with us several times to make sure everything was perfect, and that kind of thoughtful service really adds to the whole experience. If you’re visiting Vegas and love good food with good vibes, make sure Volcano Grille is on your list. We already can’t wait to come back!

First off I would like to say the quality of food portion and taste should remain the same regardless of where I ordered I purchased off of uber eats buy one get one free premium 2 meats I ordered Filet mignon and salmon w. Lava Choice and I was highly disappointed I ordered a hour and a half before closing I don’t know because of it being the end of the day I received crap or the last of the food but my salmon was overly small and steak was not fulfilling and flavorless I have had volcano grille before and was highly impressed on the freshness and portion size and this time I wasn’t and especially upset because I spent over $50 and was missing a sauce I had purchased below you will see pictures of exactly what I got compared to other photos this portion size and freshness is unacceptable I haven’t been able to get this resolved through uber eats but I received no resolution. I just wish the food portions and quality stay the same as if I walked into the restaurant myself

An above average dining experience. Its just a little alcove in a strip mall, so nothing special about the atmosphere, but food is unique and fresh.

First time trying Volcano grille and I will definitely be back. It hit the mark in every category Customer service - I can't say enough about Cameron, explained the menu and gave great suggestions so we were able to share and try their best sellers The food - OMG so fresh and seasoned to perfection. The burrito is a must and the Platter was the perfect amount of veggies and protein. Don't forget the garlic sauce The price - very reasonable for all you get and quality Highly recommend

The food has historically been amazing. Recently, they have really fallen off in terms of quality and prep regarding their rice. The rice has huge chunks of garlic throughout. When I say HUGE, I mean HUGE. It throws off the whole meal when you bite into a huge piece of garlic. My advice to the chef, please mince the garlic OR use garlic powder. Take the extra time during prep because it ruins the food when you don't.

Customer service was great and my order came up super fast which later explained why the chicken was under cooked. I was not satisfied with my meal. I ordered teriyaki chicken but there was no teriyaki on the undercooked chicken. The rice was soggy and the noodles were overcooked. I will never return.

Of course we had to visit based on all the reviews from TikTok. They are known for the Hibachi burrito but we decided to get the combo plates. Wife and I were visiting Vegas for her bday and let's just say, place definitely lives up to the hype. Small, but well maintained place and food came out really fast. Will definitely visit again.

Really delicious and fulfilling bowls. The staff were nice and helped with choosing which sauce goes best for their food. A little overpriced for bowls, but their new deal has made it worth coming back! Very clean and nice inside.

The cashier was pretty nice but was a bit confusing when we were ordering. The sizes were a bit hard to understand. Nonetheless we got to order. We got a dish with shrimp and another dish with tofu and steak. The carbs were a big portion but the protein was small despite the price of the dishes. The tofu blocks were a bit funny. Its just a big tofu block. Would have been easier if it was cooked in bite pieces. The taste was good but nothing extraordinary.

The food was delicious! It was a pretty big size but didn't look as large as it does on all of the TikTok videos in person. The guy working the counter was friendly and helpful. He also gave some good suggestions on the side sauces to order. The hot sauce and the wasabi sauce were both winners. Just the right amount of heat! The burrito was filling and stuffed with ingredients. You can customize it however you want. The cooked the vegetables perfectly. Everything was decently seasoned. It is expensive for what you get. I would come back but there are also a lot of similar options for cheaper in Vegas. Recommended.

I came here a few weeks ago. I ordered the steak and chicken plate with noodles and the miso crunch salad. I got a few different sauces and they weren't labeled so I didn't know which were which but they were all good. The steak was good but the texture of the chicken was a little strange for me. I didn't care for the noodles they were very sweet.

Not a very big location. You order at the counter and they call your name for to-go or drop off at table if eating in. Everything was clean and employees were friendly. The food was good but not amazing. My salmon was cooked well and was dry and so were some of the steak pieces. The noodles and veggies were good. The garlic butter is just butter, so def a skip for next time. It's a nice option but can get expensive for fast food.

They are so nice here! The shrimp was crispy which I love! The veggies were cold but so flavorful! The Japan fried chicken is amazing and the sauces are Devine! The noodles are really good too! I'm not into noodles but these are tasty! I don't like how you pay for base plate then the proteins so by the time your done, your Meal is 20 plus ! I'd come back it was that good!

This is mine and my granddaughters first time here, i've always been wanting to try it. You did not disappoint at all.We had a great meal.Everything was very fresh, tender, and juicy, and just flavorful. The place is very clean and the customer service is amazing.And the people here are all smiles and very nice. Very quick service. Definitely coming here again thank you.

It was love at first bite! I'd heard a lot about this place from a coworker. I had even seen some of the photographs online. None of that did the food any justice... Downright phenomenal. Upon entrance, we were greeted by Cameron who recognized my coworker from previous visits. Cameron was super cool, provided guidance and made good suggestions. I opted for the salmon and chicken with both fried rice and noodles along with grilled veggies. All delicious. Sweet garlic sauce and teriyaki sauces were my selections. Both were likely the best I've ever had. We dined in. It was quaint inside but very clean; restroom as well. Great fountain soda selections with Stubborn Soda brand and a very good lemonade. Long story short, food was great and I'll be back!

Every time we have gone its been delicious! We had a group of 6 and one time and it was my mother in laws 74th birthday, i think the owner or manager was sitting near us and overheard us she brought out a dessert unexpected it was so sweet! Its worth the money! I love the creamy wasabi sauce on the steak!

This place is foul, man. I got played. I order a filet and shrimp for something over $30. I asked for a spicy sauce, they were out. I asked for a spring roll, they were out. The food was awful. Nobody asked me how I wanted my steak cooked. So it was well done. I also got rice and noodles, the noodles were INEDIBLE. It was mush. When I walked out, I saw a family leave a table with half eaten food and untouched noodles. I can't believe I drove 30 minutes for this. Never, ever, ever, again

First time coming here. I got a steak and chicken mini bowl with grilled rice. With tax and tip about $17. The guy behind the counter was super professional and very polite and I got my to-go order quickly. The place was not too big and not too small; tables and booths and very clean. I thought it was a little pricey at first but I was definitely full after eating it, so good value for the money. Chicken breast and maybe about 2-3 oz of steak. And 2 big scoops of rice and some zucchini, carrots and onions. The veg was not overcooked either, which I appreciated. I'd definitely go again and try something else on the menu. It was a hearty and wholesome meal. Well done!

We tried here based on Instagram reels and the food was just okay. I did the Create a Plate (Double Protein) (Japanese Chicken) was not so good though- it's dark meat but has not flavor. and I had (Shrimp) which was my favorite. It's seasoned and cooked well . The Steak is delicious too. I loved the noodles and rice. My reason for 3 stars is I mistakenly thought this was a hibachi grilled but instead it's a take out Hibachi . The service is great, the young ladies are very friendly and knowledgeable who helped make great recommendations. The and ambiance and deco is nice too. The floor was greasy and I almost fell going To the bathroom. Just not somewhere I would rush back to try again...

Wow... wow. I've been dreaming about this food ever since i left Vegas! Like please please please come to the DMV! That volcano burrito... to die for. It came with steak, grilled rice, and veggies and teriyaki sauce wrapped in a toasted tortilla. So delicious and filling. The veggies added a nice crunch and the steak was well cooked the perfect medium. 10/10! We also got a plate with steak, grilled rice and lo mein to share. That lo mein was sooo good! STAR of the show. It was soft, melted in your mouth and flavorful perfect balance of sweet and savory! We were so hungry we also got a side of macoroni salad (very very small serving size) but so tasty and savory. The restaurant was BUSY, with over a 30 minute wait to get our food. But it came out hot and so good that all of that didn't matter. My friend and I only tried this place because of Keith Lee and he was absolutely correct about his rating! The sauces are also soooo good! We got the Fuji yummm and the hot magma. Definitely get the hot magma, so worth it!

I thought it was a Japanese Grill. It looks good. Then when I tasted it there's no Japanese taste at all. The sauce on the shrimp, chicken, meat, rice, and veggies all tasted the same. I wish it had variety of flavors.

Really nice ambience and friendly service. We tried to call in an order but no one answered. Luckily, the restaurant's website is linked to Yelp and you can order online through Toast. The menu prices through Toast were the same as the in-store menu, as far as I can tell. The Toast estimate was 10-15min but it was actually 25-30 minutes. Thankfully we weren't in a rush and staff communicated to us that they were working on our order. My wife and i each ordered a two protein plate (teriyaki and Japanese fried chicken; shrimp and spicy tofu). The chicken was good but not amazing. Shrimp were grilled and were tasty and the tofu was good. Vegetables were a huge win, but the "spring roll" is your standard little egg roll with cabbage inside. At $45 for our two dinners I'm not likely to return. While nothing was wrong with the place, there wasn't anything so spectacular to justify the prices.

I was craving hibachi and found this restaurant in my searching. The restaurant has nice decor with fun music playing. It was a vibe. We were kindly greeted by Cameron, who graciously explained the menu. He didn't rush us as we browsed through all the options. He really made us feel like family the entire time we were there. I was actually super shocked to find out he wasn't the manager. I wish more restaurants had employees like Cameron he really made the experience. 4 stars are for Cameron and his work ethic. I deducted a star for the food. We ordered the create your own plates. We got steak, chicken, and shrimp. Our order took a little while to make. I guess that's how you know it's hot and fresh. The steak quality didn't seem the greatest. It tasted good at first, then started tasting fishy. It made me wonder if it was bad. I thought it was just me, but my daughter pointed that out as well. It made us not want to eat it. The noodles were very good. I enjoyed them a lot. The rice wasn't how I prefer hibachi style rice. My husband and daughter loved it, though. The shrimp were good. The katsu chicken was really tough, almost like chicken jerky. It was alright at first, but after it cooled off, it was almost impossible to eat. I wouldn't get it again. The grilled chicken was very good. The spring rolls were good. The salad strawberry miso salad was super good. The lettuce was some of the freshest I have seen at a restaurant. The price... it isn't quite what you are thinking when you first glance at the menu. I wish the menu was a little more up front about the cost. It does say steak, shrimp, etc. are additional cost, but I guess I wasn't really factoring all that in. Then, when i got the bill, I was pretty shocked at the cost. Overall, I'm not sure it's a place I'd return to. If I'm craving Hibachi, I can pay the same amount at an actual hibachi place.

Randomly came across this place on TikTok one night when I didn't feel like cooking so my stomach decided to make the 30min drive. I had somewhat high expectations due to the videos I watched and I wasn't disappointed. I was greeted by Summer who is nothing short of amazing and gave us the full rundown for our first time as well as her personal recommendations and sauce choices. Even if the food was less than satisfactory I would come just for her honestly. Her service and genuine vibe was awesome. We got the Volcanorrito and the Traditional Plate, with both being lunch leftovers for the next day. I can't wait to go back again and try something new and different sauce combos

This place is truly a hidden Las Vegas gem. It is a Japanese Protein House / New Fast and Casual Teppanyaki Concept. They serve a variety of Bento boxes , variety of different plates / combos, high quality of Hibachi steaks and seafood. We have got their Traditional plate and Create a plate option from the menu. The protein that we chose was steak, shrimp, grilled chicken , chicken Katsu and Japan fried chicken , and all were delicious and served amazingly well complimented with their flavorful sauces. The steak was very tender, the chicken Katsu was perfectly fried ( one of our favorite choices of protein) and the shrimps were THE BEST. All of the meat choices that we have tried were delicious, juicy and overall yummy . The rice and noodles were well seasoned and cooked right, not too dry at all, perfectly balanced flavors. They have a lot of flavorful sauces to choose from and we definitely recommend trying Fuji Yumma sauce. The portions were great and the food was very filling, we could not finish everything. Place was clean, nicely decorated in a Japanese theme, very comfortable chairs and they have outdoor seating available as well. It is not a big restaurant, but there is plenty tables and chairs available for seating . The service is excellent, very friendly, attentive, extremely welcoming . They will go above and beyond to make their customers feel happy and satisfied. Overall: we had an amazing experience and if we could rate more than 5 stars we definitely would! This is our new favorite Japanese place and we highly recommend it!!!

First thing I noticed is how clean the place was and how simple yet beautifully decorated it was. We were greeted and felt welcomed at the door which was a great start. The menu is simple. Choose rice or noodles, your proteins and a sauce. I ordered the grilled rice, spicy chicken and egg roll but I was wishing they were able to do the grilled chicken in spicy teriyaki, however I was told they couldn't do it. Not a big deal though considering that the chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious and I was able to dip it in my sauce of preference. The rice was so good and with the perfect amount of garlic butter just how I like it. My boyfriend ordered the same rice with filet mignon and the shrimp. He reports that it was good but too expensive. Our two meals, 2 bottle sodas, and sauces came close to $60. Considering that the portions can feed 2 people, maybe 3 if you don't eat a lot and the quality of the ingredients was great, j thought it was worth the price. The customer service was outstanding. After ordering, the ladies continued to check on us and they constantly making sure the dining room stayed clean. Overall great service, excellent service, and great food! Will visit again when in the area, as it is 35 minutes away.

I think I have been under a rock because this little bitty restaurant has some of the best Katsu chicken that I have ever had the service is absolutely amazing the staff there is super friendly everything is always very fresh the food is so good the steak is mouthwatering it's always so tender you definitely have to eat here I promise you will not regret it

The food here was okay, I felt it was kind of bland, but didn't want to get extra sauce as they charge for each. It was a little on the pricey side. They charge nearly $20 for a plate that should be $15. My suggestion, for the same price, go to Ojah. The food is much better, it's priced about the same and they don't charge extra for sauce.

Food is pretty good, but portions are tiny. 3 shrimp and 5 smalls bits of steak for 16 plus tax. I ended up eating a second meal elsewhere. The prices are criminal.

The service is always top tier here but let's talk about the food even better so much different healthy meats and vegetables flavored with so much love will definitely come back I always get the best protein here

Bunch of shells throughout the bowl. Steak is burnt. There's really big pieces of eggs. The price went up and the food went down.

1) Food was too greasy. It felt like I was drinking oil. 2) The portions were too small. 3) The prics was insane . $65 for 2 people. Couldve went to Panda for less w more food. 4) The tortilla on the burrito was not tortilla.

I'm from LA. Had a vacation in Vegas. Last Monday we went into volcano Grill and I cannot remember the name at the moment of the burrito. But basically it was a fusion burrito.. we got the steak and chicken one. Both very very delicious chicken was my favorite. And what made it even more special the customer service we had there. The two ladies that were working that night so amazing helpful with our decision-making.. big shout out to them. Every time I come to Vegas now I have to stop in. This spot was so delicious and glad to be able to have a local experience. One last thing need to say Keith Lee is how we found this spot .

I used to love volcano grille and excited to know they opened up near me without having to drive across town. The staff was friendly but for the amount of food and missing items o don't think it was worth $30. Or appears the quality may have gone down but it could be just based on location. Also I went in to order to go and left with a missing side item which to me sucks because I did pay a lot for a small plate of salmon and steak. Will poeobanjy just for next door to chipotle or wing stop I'm very disappointed as I really used to like this place. Please look at your order before you leave or else you will have missing items.

I came in at 9:30pm. It's a small place. The female cashier with the long black wavy hair, glasses, braces and "metola" tattoo on her forearm did not acknowledge me for about 4 solid minutes as I stood right in front of the register. She complained about the tickets aloud and spoke to the cooks through the window, who made eye contact with me but didn't mention me or tell her or ask me if I needed help. She spoke to a blonde man, assuming the manager who also acted like I I was invisible, waited for the acknowledgement of a customer by an employee. She finally acknowledged me, and asked how she could help without an apology. Disappointed with my initial experience. She was unprofessional, inattentive, dismissive. Bad for business. I just walked out. Thumbs down.

Service was good. Cashier is very nice. Ambience is good. The food is not as great as before. Small portions and overpriced. Don't try the teriyaki sauce. I ordered the filet mignon and shrimp. 5 small pcs of filet mignon and 3 small pcs of shrimp and a ton of soggy, oily noodles. Wouldn't recommend.

Sadly this business has fallen greatly from what it once was. What was once a well-kept, contemporary interior has become a dirty, hot, sticky interior with uncomfortable seating. They got rid of the coca-cola freestyle machine. It's always unbelievably warm inside all the time. Once you enter, you cannot wait to leave. They have reduced what you get with the protein plates (the salad is no longer included, and they have reduced the number of included sides). Meanwhile the prices remain quite high -$21+ for the three protein plate) The last time we ordered, the yakisoba noodles were awful. Flavorless and no longer seemingly tossed in a pan with flavorful sauce. This place started out great but has declined greatly sadly.

Nice little joint in a plaza. Greeting, approachable and kind people working here. My husband and I shared a plate. It could have easily shared among 3 people. Extra sauces are .50cents each. So many to choose from. The 4 sauces we got were good, except for the spicy mustard. It was okay, but could have ate without it.

This was soooo good! Fresh, simple, healthy food. Grilled chicken was tender and moist and the salad with ginger dressing was so refreshing. Mom loved her Yakisoba noodles. Cam was very friendly and nice. We will definitely be back!

I was trying to get food because I was starving and all the breakfast/brunch/lunch places were closed! Volcano was open and it was my first time. Cam was super helpful and greeted me with a warm smile and smooth energy. Nice decorations, seating in the both was comfy, water was wet as expected! But seriously, the food was outstanding, the flavor was a little heavy, but it hit my tongue in the right places because I enjoy a little spicy. I'm not complaining at all, also it may just have been the way I ordered the ingredients. Either way, I loved the Wasabi sauce, it was exquisite. Chicken was marinated and grilled to perfection, vegetables were a good blend of crunch/soft texture, rice was an interesting different flavor but I really enjoyed it, noodles were another new experience that I can't wait to come back to try another mix! Great job team, thank you Cam, I'm coming back for more!!

Be aware...portion sizes are now HALF what you see pictured. Service is still excellent and dining area has been updated with booths. Restroom is nice & clean 1-seater type, however, the route to it feels sketchy. I was less impressed this visit with food taste.
