Volve Hotel Bangkok (Bangkok, Central Thailand) 3 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"While Thailand in general and Bangkok in particular are world-renowned travel destinations, the capital city’s hotel scene has largely been dominated by big luxury hotels — some global brands, some homegrown. Volve Hotel Bangkok, then, is an outlier: a boutique hotel of just 28 rooms, where the scale is small, the welcome is personal, and the design is thoughtful, mixing contemporary-luxe elements with unique commissioned artworks and a touch of the whimsy that’s essential for making a hotel look stylish but not too precious." - Tablet Hotels

Local dishes are served at the on-site restaurant. All rooms offer an air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a well selected minibar. W District's Market is a 12-minute drive away. The nearest airport is Suvarnabhumi International Airport, 23 km from Volve Hotel Bangkok." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

Volve Hotel Bangkok | Bangkok | Smith Hotels

"Style Pocket rocket Setting Cosmopolitan, cultured Thonglor Explore More hotels in Bangkok More hotels in Thailand Get more Bangkok for your buck at Volve Hotel Bangkok , which proves that hotels haven’t just evolved – they’ve ’volved. This unassuming hideaway is more home than hotel (and that’s just the way we like it). Volve’s building is small (a stark contrast to Bangkok’s characteristic, cloud-poking skyscrapers), its staff are clad in refreshingly casual uniforms and there’s no pool or garden – but a rooftop terrace, cool design touches galore, an excellent restaurant and a relaxed, friendly feel fill the gaps and then some. Get this when you book through us: One bottle of Thai craft beer a room and 15 per cent off à la carte food and drink" - Mr & Mrs Smith

Volve Hotel | Best places to stay in Bangkok

"Where most Thai boutique stays draw on the country’s ancient palaces and temples for design inspiration, Volve takes a refreshingly different approach. Owner Pavee Tansirikongkol took cues from the midcentury villas hidden in Thonglor’s alleys and has created a 28-room lifestyle hub with a touch of retro. This is one of those places that manages to make you feel like a local, with bright rooms resembling small apartments and a handy booklet featuring the many little-known shops, restaurants and bars dotted around this bustling district. There’s a smart cafe in the lobby and a contemporary Thai-Chinese restaurant in the basement. When it’s time for sightseeing, Thonglor’s BTS Skytrain station connects you to all corners of town within 30 minutes. " - Chris Schalkx

We had a great stay at this hotel! The hotel is very beautiful and modern, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, polite, and always happy to help. They truly go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is excellent—you can get everywhere very quickly. At check-in, we were welcomed with a complimentary drink and given a helpful overview of nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, including tips on how to reach them either on foot or by public transportation. Our room was perfectly adequate for our three-day stay. Everything was very clean and nicely designed. The room was well equipped with a kettle, a wide selection of snacks, tea and coffee, a hairdryer, and a fantastic shower with great water pressure—definitely a big plus! Breakfast was served from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m. and was absolutely delicious. There was a great selection of both sweet and savory dishes, and you could add extras at no additional cost. We ordered the French toast with fruit and added scrambled eggs and bacon and the smoked salmon eggs benedict. There was also a small buffet available. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

We were really looking forward to our stay at this small boutique hotel and I cannot be more disappointed. As a frequent traveler to Bangkok I can safely say for such a steep price point there are many many more places that offer a much better experience. We are a group of 7 with kids and seniors and volve is not made for this kind of travel. While the rooms are well appointed with nice design details the feel cramped. And there’s a difference between compact and cramped!! The service staff seems hassled, slow and rude. They unplugged the toaster at 10.30 sharp at breakfast while we had toast in the toaster! There is no proper waiting room or area so check in for large groups is quite inconvenient. Final verdict: you’re obviously paying for the address and the designer details but you’ll be left feeling like you didn’t get what you paid for. Recommended for small families, couples or solo travelers but not for large groups!

I stayed at Volve in November 2025 and honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The hotel is new, beautifully designed, full of natural light, and surrounded by native plants. The rooms are on the smaller side, but everything feels fresh and well-thought-out, with an amazing shower and an incredibly comfortable bed. And the breakfast… hands down the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. There’s a buffet with fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, and bread, plus a made-to-order main dish that comes out perfectly cooked every time. I’m a bit of a coffeeholic, and even I was impressed; the coffee was excellent, and their cappuccino was so good. When we checked out at 4 a.m. for our flight, they even packed the cutest breakfast box for us. They really show care in every detail. If you’re visiting Bangkok, do yourself a favor and stay here.

I stayed here for 2 nights in November 2025. I would say it’s perfect stay. One of the top stays I’ve had in Bangkok, and I’ve stayed over 30 different bangkok hotels in my life. - service: friendly and efficient - cleaning: maybe best. Top top. Cleaner was super fast and clean, I was working throughout the cleaning and it was no issue - room: spacious and very comfortable bed. Importantly they have different types of pillows. And the soap is SO GOOD that I wanted to buy, but they don’t sell it! Its partnership with PATOM organic store. The bathroom uses real marble so it feels luxurious - snacks: some snacks were provided free which is a nice touch - internet: decent and didn’t disconnect. - food: the cafe below was having some renovations, but the food was delicious, healthy, and high quality ingredients and beautifully prepared - noise: slight noise from the street, but didn’t bother me. Location is good if you club a lot as many good clubs within 5mins

I had recently stayed at your hotel as part of my Bangkok birthday trip, and I’d like to share some feedback on my experience.|Overall, it was a memorable stay. I especially appreciated the warm hospitality and professionalism of your female staff members, who were consistently friendly and attentive throughout my visit.|However, I would like to highlight a few areas for improvement. As a World of Hyatt member booking through “Mr & Mrs Smith”, I understand the benefits are limited. Late check-out and complimentary breakfast would not be offered to the World of Hyatt members. Therefore, I had booked my stay with the package of breakfast. Unfortunately, due to positively high occupancy on 20 October, a room upgrade could not be offered to me.|One aspect that I believe could significantly enhance the guest experience is the hotel entrance. Currently, the presence of two stairs without a slope makes it challenging for guests with heavy luggage to enter and exit the hotel. I kindly suggest considering a redesign of the entrance to include a ramp or slope passage, which would greatly improve accessibility and convenience for all guests.

The best boutique hotel in a trendy residential area of Bangkok. Many hotels, restaurants and cafes at walking distance. Phenomenal breakfast and lunch (restaurant/in-room dining closes at 5 pm). Amazing bakery products. Easy to find on Google maps for taxis and tour companies. Great, complimentary wi-fi. Cleanliness top class. Aesthetics top class. Service top class. Short walking distance to Thong Lor BTS station.

I’ve always tried to staye in Thong Lo whenever I visit BKK for either leisure or for work. Never thought I would miss this fantastic little hotel. Classy, relevant, cushy and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are decent and comfortable. Most importantly clean. The breakfast offerings are nice. Straight forward and unlike large buffer fare, I prefer this. I must commend the coffee (I’m a coffee snob). Very good coffee served here at the dining/cafe. Flat white with Oat milk alternative is available. I will come back but not really for a family sort of accommodation. But it’s More for couples or solo travellers or for business accommodation will be perfect. Almost forgot to add. Great value and inexpensive. Staff service immaculate.

The staff and overall welcome were outstanding. We arrived very early due to our flight, and they kindly offered us a complimentary early check-in. We were also greeted with balloons and a personalized card for our honeymoon — such a thoughtful gesture. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Truly a wonderful experience.
