25 Iconic Dishes That Define NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"La Dinastia on the Upper West Side has a long menu of Chino Latino classics (glistening fried pork chops, ropa vieja on a bed of fried rice), but we always get the boneless chicken crackling. They're delicately crispy, salty enough to keep you coming back for more, and come with your choice of side—we like the tostones or fried rice. Ask for the not-so-secret green sauce, and order a rum-based Nutcracker." - bryan kim, molly fitzpatrick, willa moore, will hartman, sonal shah

Tasty Korean-style fried chicken! The chicken was cooked well, and the sauce was good, but I wish they offered an option for extra sauce. It's still a solid place if you like Korean fried chicken. Full Review: This is a tasty Korean-style fried chicken place. I ordered the chicken with green onion and the sweet and spicy sauced chicken. The chicken was cooked well, and the sauce flavor was satisfying. However, there was a common issue I’ve noticed at Vans Chicken locations — the sauce wasn’t enough. Personally, I would even pay a few extra dollars for more sauce because I prefer it richer. It was a bit disappointing that they didn’t offer an option for extra sauce. Overall, it’s still a great spot if you enjoy Korean fried chicken, and the flavors were enjoyable.

Google
I had heard of Korean style fried chicken and this one lives up to the hype. Full of flavor and juicy. With delicious sides, pickled radish was a perfect side to refresh the palate between pieces. Service was quick and polite.

Google
It was so great to find somewhere to try Korean Fried Chicken! We tried honey butter boneless. It was So Good! The outside is extra crispy! The inside is extra moist and juicy! The 10 piece had so much chicken! And, a small portion of radish, and a small portion of coleslaw. The restaurant is clean, with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and helpful regarding menu choices! We will definitely be back!

Google
Overall conclusion: weak sauce. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but will have to do so here. We had two combo meals: one with crispy fried chicken and one with crispy yangnyum chicken. The food was average - I’ve had much better fried chicken than this. I found the chicken in my combo to be poor quality. There is no excuse for this as the restaurant is right next to the largest Korean market in Sacramento. Besides all this, it took over a half hour to get our food - 1 pm on a Monday. Sorry, but I won’t be back.

Google
Holy moly! Today for lunch, I was finally able to stop into Vons chicken and it did not disappoint! I got the lunch combo. Two drumsticks and two wings extra crispy spicy with a side of steamed rice and it comes with pickled, radish and coleslaw on the side. This was the best $14 I've spent for lunch! I was a big BonChon supporter. However, recently their quality has gone down and not worth the high price in my opinion. So that's why I wanted to try Von's chicken. They are out of the way for me and not anywhere near me. So every attempt I've tried to come to Vons they have either been closed or moved so that's why it's taking this long to get over here. But I'm glad I did!

Google
I’ll definitely be returning. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. We got both a spicy and garlic flavor. The spicy was amazing, hot enough to feel the burn but had a great flavor that keep you wanting more. The garlic was not what I expected but delicious. It was almost sweet vs the garlic flavors I’m use to. We also ordered Sodduk Sodduk, it was so good I couldn’t get a photo before we devoured it. I can’t wait to try the other flavors.

Went during lunch hours on a weekday. Wasn't super busy. Service was fast. Got a small order of wings of their Crispy Fried Chicken (Soy Garlic). It came with a complimentary side of coleslaw or pickled radish. Came to a total of about $10-11. The sauce on the chicken was tasty - I only wish they added more! The texture of the batter was different from the usual Korean Fried Chicken I've had - it was a bit crispier (I didn't hate it). My only real complaint is the price, but then again, everywhere is getting expensive. Would recommend and will probably come again. 4 out of 5 wings.

Google
I had a fabulous time as I simply loved the food here. Tried edamame and chicken along with garlic and spicy sauce and the taste and freshness was mind blowing. Need to go back to try the other sauces as well. Half size was 10 and Full size was 20 but the quantity was way more than what other companies like McDonald's or Burger King give. Tried the half size. Full size must be good for party's.

Yelp
Fire! Best wings ever!!!!!! Such a great deal and they even split the sauce out of the chicken on the side cause they noticed my kids and that was above and beyond because my kid can be super picky. We all loved it! Can't wait to go back for more!!!

Yelp
Vons is a solid choice when you have a hankering for some good fried chicken wings with delicious flavors. On this visit we got the honey butter flavor and it was good and not too powdery sweet. You can get this flavor on their fries too. We also got kimmari which are fried seaweed rolls with thin noodles and veggies inside. They were good but I'm not a big seaweed person. If you are, definitely try it. The drinks gave me Capri Sun vibes but were so much better lol Try the muscat ade! The lady that helped us was super sweet and gave us great customer service.

Yelp
I got a takeout from here late December to celebrate a special occasion. I ordered the crispy fried chicken and it was delicious. I love Korean food in general and Korean fried chicken is one of my favorites. Highly recommend any of the Vons locations including this one. This particular location has plenty of parking. And the service was excellent.

Yelp
Dine in was nice, not big but cozy. Friendly staff and attentive. Disposable gloves were provided. Ordered roasted oven chicken, crispy fried "padak" chicken, rice cake and cheese balls. The oven roasted Chicken was not bad but would prefer the crispy chicken. Will definitely come back to try other flavors.

Yelp
I ordered takeout a few weeks back I received raw drumsticks! Love this place but all the drumsticks were raw on the inside and it's too far to return for a refund. So disappointing because we come here often.

Yelp
Feeling like some fried chicken, but don't want the "common" KFC/Popeyes type? Try out Vons Chicken. It's a Korean chicken place. They have lots of variety here, so you should be able to find what you like. The place is small, maybe about 6 tables to sit. If you're in a hurry, try ordering online. We usually get the combo and always opt for the Kimchi Fried Rice. It's definitely worth the extra $1.

Yelp
Place was clean and vibrant. Server was kind and had our food out promptly. The garlic wings had lots of garlic and tasted great. The tteok-bokki had a nice spice to it.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious and quick. We were able to get our honey butter seasoning on the side since we felt like sometimes it can be overpowering. The staff was very friendly and quick. I also really appreciate when restaurants have self serving water stations! Only downside would be that it seems like the interior has no air conditioning so it was a rather warm dining experience. Would recommend if in the area!

Yelp
Simply put, this place is DELISH! Located in the same parking lot as KP Market, near their Kareoke Bar. It's a small shop but the food packs a lot of flavor and the best part is it's super reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly and patient. We got the Kimchi Fried Rice, Crispy 'Yang-Nyum', fries, and Man Doo (beef & veggie potstickers). The chicken in the Crispy 'Yang-Nyum' was juicy and full of flavor. The fries were tasty but you should definitely eat them fresh and the KimChi Fried Rice was yummy! Oh and don't forget about the Man Doo, it was good. It was crispy and packed with flavor. PARKING: There's a shared parking lot and not a lot of parking super close to the restaurant but you won't have any issues finding a spot. Overall, this place is great and worth trying!

Yelp
Von's Chicken, simply put, is bomb af. I passed by on the way home one day and for some reason was super enticed, and decided to try it out. I have never been to such a consistently incredible fried chicken place. I think at this point I have tried every style/sauce/crispiness level, and it's truly awesome. Crispy Yangnyeom chicken is by far and away the best thing here. I mean, you seriously can't go wrong with any choice, but the Yangnyeom is "slap your mom" good. I love the kimchi fried rice, and the sides of radishes. If you're reading this review, do NOT miss out on the fried cheese balls. These things are dangerously addicting. You can get one of two flavors dusted on them, but the answer is to get them with Honey Butter. The fugue of sweets and savories that dances across the your tongue, paired with the delightful contrast of textures is other-worldly. Don't sleep on Von's, go there immediately. My photos don't do it justice, it was dark and we ordered through DoorDash. Nothing beats ordering in person. (I have never eaten inside so can't speak to ambiance, but the employees have always been nice.)

Yelp
Thursday, 6/13/2024 - quiet restaurant, cool inside, nice cashier, good sticky sweet chicken, self serve fountain drinks. Fountain drin is $2.49 a cup. Easy peasy. They do have a bathroom for customers. Sweet potato fries were on the drier side. I liked the little crispy ones tho. I won't get the sweet potato fries next time from here. I was a little disappointed. But chicken was on point. Yummy!

Yelp
We got the crispy fried chicken 5 grain powder (original) and soy glazed. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely had flavor from the outside in! It's our first time and we will be going again! They even provided hand wipes, which tells us how thoughtful they are. Thank you!! 5/5 recommend!

Yelp
This is our go-to spot whenever we have a Korean fried chicken craving! Service was quick and friendly. Our food came out within 10mins of ordering. Our favorite was the soy garlic fried chicken. The restaurant is pretty small on the inside but they have indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Masitda (delicious)! Quaint hideaway in the KP market shopping center. You can eat, shop and get a dessert or two within walking distance! Food ordered: -Letter B- crispy fried chicken (mild, medium or hot) with garlic soy glaze with sweet potato fries and cole slaw (combo) -Man doo-pan fried dumplings with sweet sauce- super delicious! Pros: You can choose the heat of your chicken( mild, medium, hot) and the type of chicken you want i.e drums, wings etc. Chicken was juicy and tender and the breading was light, crispy and packed flavor!! Cons: -Sweet potato fries were not that good, I don't know why they even serve these. They lacked depth, seasoning and flavor - Cole slaw was super sweet, reminded me of KFC (my husband liked this, I did not) Other: -bathroom in the back -cash/credit/tap available - plenty of parking all around - friendly Will be back to try different flavors of chicken!!
google avatar

Yelp
The honey butter chicken is sooo good! I like how they have different options of small, medium, or large and you can pick if you want boneless, bone in, or a mix! The fries were great cause it's like steak fries and potatoey instead of only crispy. I would come back! The workers were really sweet too. Parking is available since it's a big shopping center.

Yelp
First time trying Vons Chicken and we absolutely loved it! We had the Crispy Fried Chicken and Crispy YangNyum Chicken and will definitely be back for more! Quick service, didn't wait long at all. 10/10!

Yelp
Yesterday afternoon my hubby and I finally got to try the famous Vons Chicken everyone has been raving about for the first time! My hubby is from Korea and for us it's been a tradition to eat rice cakes on New Year's Day. When I called this location, not only were they open, but they offered outdoor dining, we bring our Goldendoodle Midnight everywhere with us! Rice Cake(Mild)~ Tteokbokki translates to "stir-fried rice cake," a traditional Korean side dish that's served on both New Year's and Dol, a celebration for baby's 100th day! The best I've ever had, they're very sweet and topped with delicious sesame seeds!! Mandoo(fried dumpling)~ I thought they had a nice crunch, but lacked flavor. Japchae~ In Korean Japchae means "mixed vegetables." These sweet potato noodles are one of my personal favorite, classic Korean side dishes! Von's was amazing! Boneless "SSAM"~ " In Korean ssam translates to "wrapped." In this case you use pickled radish to wrap your ingredients, at home we use lettuce! The chicken thighs are just absolutely incredibly flavorful and I loved the fresh veggies and yellow sauce it came with! The best food I've had this pregnancy!! Thank you Sanghoo P for taking your pregnant wifey out to lunch, you're the best hubby ever and I'm looking forward to returning with you to devour the rest of their menu!! You can find them in the same shopping center as KP International Market and Mochinut! @vonschicken_rc on Instagram! SYOY! Happy New Year 2024!

Yelp
FLIES IN FOOD ON PURPOSE!!! If I could give negative stars I would! The old Korean lady that takes the order and cooks the food is VERY rude from when you walk into the door. I ordered togo, came home and had THREE BIG FLIES IN THE BOX. Once I opened the box one flew out and two was at the bottle of the paper wrap. Not too sure if it's a new owner but this is unacceptable. I am mortified

Yelp
this place is usually a 5 for me ngl. but let me tell u this. take my review with a grain of salt bc we let this shi sit for a 30 min car ride before actually chowing down. ok so we got like the garlic flavored thing. idk what it's called. but yeah when we got home with our chicken, that shi was still hella crispy somehow bro. like god damnnnn idk how it stayed crispy for that long even after that long car ride. i think the garlic flavor did diminish a lil tho. like it must've evaporated into the air or sum bc the garlickyness was very subtle tbh which disappointed me. but all good still good ahh chicken. i even told the man at the register that i see here every time "hey man you guys have the best chicken in sacramento" had to let brother know that i appreciate his efforts fr fr. and brotha ended up giving us a whole pack of wet wipes for the post meal cleaning. what a nice man fr. but yeah i bet if i came n dined it, it would be a 5. but for todays sake, it will have to be a 4. oh yeah the pieces of chicken r hella big too. and the restaurant is very cozy. looks like a mom n pop shop in there almost

Yelp
Amazing!!! The flavors, the crunch, the tenderness of the chicken meat itself. WOW! Don't drive past this place!

Yelp
Finally tried Von's Chicken. It was a mystery to me prior to Wednesday. So was K-pop. Now I know all about them. Haha! Von's is Korean style fried chicken wings and drums (also boneless). Comes with tiny 2 oz container of pickled radish (stanky but yummy) and 2 oz coleslaw (good). Pricing is ok. Pay about $16 for half order, sans drink, and you'll be full. And you should have a few leftover pieces. You get quality, moist inside chicken. No dipping sauce. We ordered garlic soy mild and honey butter. Garlic soy sauce flavor was ok. The honey butter tasted better reheated. HA! I'd try something different next time. Dining area is intimate. Can make one large table of 8-10, plus there's two four tops. There may have been two tables outside but you're looking at asphalt and cars parked and driving by - miserable dining space. Restroom is dingy but had necessary items and good hand air dryer. I'm not a big fan of fried food so it'll be rare that I visit but it's solid for what it is - fried chicken.

David R.

Yelp
Loved the service, delicious food! Everything is clean and the workers are really nice! 10/10 experience. My girlfriend and I come frequently and always leave full and satisfied! :D

Yelp
Hands down best Korean fried chicken that I've ever had and all my cousins agreed. Better than bon chons. Had to let my fam know where I bought it from because I can't gate keep it to myself. The chicken was freshly fried. The sauce was saucing, we ordered the spicy sauce. The takoyaki was super delicious too, perfectly balanced and freshly made. We also tried the HONEY BUTTER CHEESE BALLS. Yall gotta get some, this was our FIRST time experiencing A BURSTING FLAVORS of saltiness, sweet, savory, crunchy and cheesy. It was a phenomenon experience, it made us rethink our life and widened our taste buds. It was a confusion of if it is good or not but when you take a second bite, hands down crack addictive. You know you like it but is confused at the same time while questioning it. The store was clean and the cashier makes you feel like you're visiting your aunty. She was cool. It felt homey, definitely coming back again.

Yelp
Finally got some chicken from here after avoiding it for a while. Not for any reason, but I'm picky about chicken. I was pleasantly surprised at the chicken. I got two ten pieces. I thought they would be party wings, they were full size wings and very meaty, so I had plenty left over. I got the honey butter and Yangynyeom, both were good and hot. The flavor was good and it was juicy, I'd suggest they actually season the meat directly though, instead of just adding afterwards. My only other issue was the sides I know it's Korean fried chicken, but I felt some American sides would have set it off better. Also it was pricy, but that might have been the DoorDash markup.

Yelp
Vons Chicken is always soooo good. My favorite is the original crispy friend chicken and pickled radishes!
google avatar

Yelp
My husband loves fried chicken so we are always trying new places even though we have our favorites. Well Vons made it to one of our favorites list. 1. Loved the location as it was near to home, had ample parking, and as someone else said you can go grocery shopping, have dinner, and dessert all in one area. 2. The service was awesome. Initial didn't know how to order but the person at the register was very helpful. 3. There were enough seats, it was clean, however the seats were a little hard. A place to eat and run or take home for the future for us. 4. And last but not least, the food was amazing! My husband got the crunchy fried chicken, medium spicy, mixed wings, legs, and drumsticks. He loved it and is looking forward to coming back. I ordered the crispy honey butter wings, mild, also mixed wings, legs, drumsticks. I almost couldn't tell it had honey it was so subtle, but I really liked it as it was not overpowering. We also both ordered French fries and they were crispy with the right amount of seasoning. The radish and coleslaw were both good as a palate cleanser/ side. We will be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Too heavy on sauce and batter coating on their chicken pieces. Not something that I would eat every now and then. I've had better versions with much simpler taste and coating. Less is more as they say.

Yelp
I'm the area and so happy to see this ! Yes we just had dinner, but heck I had to try !! Always have seen Korean fried chicken in the tv k dramas.. Went with the combination B.. My first bite: chicken was crispy, not oily and the mildness with a hint of sweetness.. Came with a small coleslaw and pink radish.. Price was 16.00 for eight pieces (half order).. I'll be back for sure next trip!

Yelp
I had no idea Von's was in this plaza! During my most recent shopping trip at KP, my friend and I spotted Von's and decided to grab dinner. This specific location offers combo meals, which we loved! We ordered a combo with the crunchy garlic and fries & a combo with yangnyum and rice. I think we got a total of 10 pieces of chicken and it was PLENTY for the two of us. The service was quick and the food was fresh out the fryer. I loved the amount of sauce they coated the chicken with and the fries were seasoned! The restaurant itself is fairly small - about four tables inside and a few patio tables right outside the door. We dined in right before dinner time so we were able to eat comfortably but as soon as 6pm hit, the place was packed! Von's has my favorite Korean fried chicken in town and I'm really glad that I can pick some up after my KP trips now!

Ying H.

Yelp
Soggy chicken, bland kimchi fried rice. Decent service with limited seating. There are better options.
google avatar

Anastasia C.

Yelp
The service was quick and simple. They'll explain things to you if you're unsure about any of the sauces. The oven fried Chicken is some of the best chicken if ever had, hands down. The shop is a little small but they pack their food is stable to go containers so taking it home to enjoy is easy and it was still piping hot when we got home. Will definitely be going again
google avatar

Yelp
PORTIONS: generous PRICE: appropriate, maybe even a steal! SERVICE: counter service SURROUNDINGS: clean and open FLAVORS: OVERALL SWEET... Not our thing, but crunchy and juicy - garlic chicken + honey butter chicken + japchae BONUS: Definitely eat there, don't take it home. The textures are so good!
google avatar

Glen D.

Yelp
A storefront type place. I'd never been there before, but I ordered a combo. I thought it was unusual that the combo didn't include a drink, but caveat emptor, I suppose. I got the buttermilk fries and buttermilk boneless wings. They were both really good. I also had some sweet potato fries which were also good. Good food, but not much room to sit.
google avatar

Yelp
It's Just starting out, but it's coping. And the food tastes great, so I think this business will pick up soon enough! My son and I passed by, looking for something we could take home for dinner. We ordered Crispy Fried Chicken and also Crispy Garlic Chicken and we were not disappointed by the choice. The price might be a little hefty, but for the taste and quality of the food, I think the price point can be overlooked. The location is nice and clean, brightly lit, especially with open storefronts on two sides of the store. The arrangement of the shop is well thought out. And the staff is very helpful with advice regarding the food choices. Give them your support and try them out!

Yelp
Went to KP and saw the Korean fried chicken store. We got some takeout. The place is clean and the cashier lady is very nice. We ordered after finished the KP late lunch and ordered via their webpage for the basic crunchy chicken, and it is fresh made to order and will take 30 minutes wait. We then finished cleaning post lunch and look at the mochinut menu. The order timing is very accurate! We will definitely return each time when we go to KP. Wished there is a similar place in Elk Grove. The whole trip driving back the car smells so great! Even after the 30 mins drive it is super crunchy. If you are the kind of person like more seasoned food, I will recommend trying other choices than the basic crunchy chicken. I like it but hubby prefer stronger flavored food so we will probably try other ones next round. P. S. Very limited parking, so I would definitely try to park and walk next round. Need to burn off the calories anyway.

Yelp
Ate here spontaneously for lunch and I was so glad we ended up here! We have only had Vons once over in Roseville, and really enjoyed it but haven't made our way back yet. We ordered a combo meal for each of us, which was perfect since we wanted a couple of sides and two different types of chicken without getting a full order of everything. My husband picked the honey butter chicken with kimchi fried rice, and I got the yangyum medium chicken with fries. Our food was out in 10 minutes and it was steaming hot! We were so hungry though so we were digging in despite the hot temperature. The chicken was so tender. I love the medium level spice on the yangyum chicken, and it was nice to have a few bites of the fries or the honey butter chicken in between to balance out the sauciness from the yangyum. The kimchi fried rice had plenty of kimchi in it and tasted great. The fries were thick and crispy and it was a pretty generous portion. The combo meals are a great deal at $11.99 since you get a side, as well as two containers of coleslaw and radish. The portion was actually enough for me to save leftovers for another meal later. We chose 6 piece boneless and it was a lot more meat than the boneless chicken that you'd get at other wing places. Service was good too, they checked on us and asked how we were enjoying everything. It's a pretty tiny shop but they have seating inside and outside if you want to eat there. They also had high chairs available. It was kinda warm inside though, like the AC wasn't quite on or maybe it was just warmth from the kitchen and the sun coming through the windows. Otherwise great spot to grab and go lunch too since they are pretty fast!

Yelp
When I first heard of this place, I was hesitant to try it, because I know that Korean food can be very spicy. However, the person who told me about the place said that you can pick your spice level. I'm glad I gave them a try The first thing I got was the mandu dumplings. I've had them many times before, and I love them. They are like potstickers, only they are crispier, and the filling is a very rich and savory filling. These did not disappoint. They come with a sauce for dipping For my main course, I had the padak chicken. I asked for non-spicy, and that's what I got. You can choose wings or drumsticks, I chose the drumsticks. Even though I only ordered a half order, the order was huge! The drumsticks were very large, crunchy on the outside, moist and tender on the inside, and it also has a sweet and tangy sauce to it. The chicken also came with a small cup of coleslaw, and a small cup of Korean radish. I liked them very much. Everything was beyond delicious! I only made it through half of the dumplings and half of the chicken, and I... Was... Stuffed! Lunch and a soda came out to 28 bucks. That may seem pricey, But with the quality of the food, as well as the fact that I am going to get two full meals out of it, it was worth every penny. I want to come back and try more items. Thank you!

Yelp
Ok. Saw this place on a drive and decided to try it. Just like any place anymore; the prices are higher than what you expect. $20.00 for my Garlic chicken and rice. If it was tasty and flavorful then it would have been worth it. The staff was very friendly, decor simple. The food had zero flavor for being "garlic" chicken. The pieces are large and that is the only good thing about it.

Yelp
I wanted fried chicken today and Vons chicken popped ... I thought I was getting a version of Filipino fried chicken I got chicken all right but not for regular anticipated fried chicken... The chicken I got was called Crispy Yangnyeom Chicken... it was a fried chicken butt covered with a tomato-based sauce that was spicy... along with a side order of kimchi fried rice. +2 ounces coleslaw..... I also requested an order of fried onion rings .. I did not get my onion rings. When I told Uber that they fail to give me my onion rings, I was offered either a credit of nine dollars immediately or to wait 10 days to get an actual CashBack. I don't understand why they cannot refund my money, the same day that they steal my money away. .. I decided to put it on my account at Uber. I will acknowledge that the chicken drumsticks were good size and that the crispy chicken they gave me was spicy but unusually extremely messy to eat. It was. it was tasty and something different, but not only ever call fried chicken here in the United States. Calling the kimchi fried rice is not exactly what it is. It's more like eating a form of Spanish rice .. it was mild, and it tasted just fine. And I only got 2 ounces of coleslaw, which is mediocre at best. Overall cost $17 for this order and it would cost me a little nine dollars if I didn't get a refund for the onion rings.. I would definitely try this place again, but make sure I just order a regular order of fried chicken

Yelp
Vons chicken is a small location that has a big punch when it comes to the flavor of the chicken. I've had the fried chicken and also the chicken with the garlic sauce. It was really good. Good flavor portions were OK. Got a combo with a drink. onion rings. The proportions that were just not as much as I would like besides that all back!

Yelp
Such friendly service! Delicious fried chicken. The original crispy fried is sweet and crunchy. A large portion for the price!

Yelp
As far as Vons, I have tried Bonchon and Vons in multiple locations from the bay area and recently the Folsom location (closed). I was never impressed because they all served really greasy fried chicken, the kind that comes out with a layer of oil on the bottom of the plate and the flour coatings are just greasy as you bite into it. This Rancho Vons location was the complete opposite today. I was not only impressed but mainly surprised at how well their chicken turned out. It was not greasy looking at all and the coating was not too heavy or greasy. The chicken was cut perfectly to cooked properly and the chicken skin on each piece was cooked exceptionally well. I say they perfected their fried chicken here. Every bite was delicious and crispy and SO juicy. The chicken itself it's divine here. I was really skeptical about this place but my party really wanted to get some today, I was impressed and definitely it's by far my favorite Korean fried chicken location hands down. I don't give 5 stars but this will be the 1st for 2024! The location was clean, plenty of parking and staff was very nice also. Best fried chicken so far this year! Come get some!

Yelp
I always love Vons chicken. The crust are always so crispy and the size of the chicken are always so big! Just disappointed that the location is not ideal and easy to miss. The staff are very kind and welcome!

Yelp
Great tasting fried chicken. And their cheezy french fries didn't disappoint. Service was fast and the nice young lady that helped me at the counter was very professional and friendly. The place is small but a real hole in the wall type of place. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Tried this for the first time today as an alternative to low-grade fast food. Food was prepared faster than expected and was available for pickup about 20 min after placing order through Uber Eats. I haven't had Korean chicken before so I have nothing to compare to, but this meal was satisfying and delicious. Personally, I enjoyed the classic Crispy Fried Chicken over the Garlic Chicken (which was on the sweet side, surprisingly). The potstickers were a hit with my kids and hubby. I loved that there were small sides of pickled radish and coleslaw added in. Our to-go bag also included some wet hand wipes - thoughtful. Although we paid over $60 to feed our family of 6, we have plenty of items leftover for another day. Glad to see a yummy restaurant open not far from home.
