Voo La Voo Cafe Wilton Manors Review - Wilton Manors - Miami - The Infatuation

"We blame the many mall food court crap-eries for diminishing the status of the crêpe, which is why we almost skipped this restaurant entirely. But Voo La Voo truly respects the crêpe and its heartier savory cousin, the galette. The menu follows the rules: sweet fillings get stuffed into a delicate white flour crêpe, while savory fillings get wrapped in a chewier buckwheat galette. The gorgonzola, bacon, and apple galette with honey and walnuts is not only filling—but will make you feel better after a Leatherwerks employee tells you they’re out of your size. You can take your food to go, but it’s hard to walk past the charming covered patio and not take a seat. Just know that Voo La Voo is only open for breakfast and lunch." - Carlos C Olaechea

We eat here for breakfast every time we come to Fort Lauderdale. The food is amazing and the omelets and crepes and French toast are out of this world good. Next time I'm eating here everyday for breakfast. It a relaxing bistro type cafe where a kitty might walk by while you're enjoying your food and coffee. The people are very accommodating and friendly as well.

Google
A beautiful cozy place hidden in the depths of Wilton Manors. A great opportunity to have a French-style breakfast in the fresh air. The hostess cooks crepes from Breton and serves real French dishes . Everything is very tasty and we would be happy to spend more time there.

My niece had never had a crepe before so I took her there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We sat in the back garden, where we enjoyed mimosas and soft jazz. My niece ordered the goat cheese crepe (#3) and I had the Gorgonzola crepe (#4) and we both enjoyed them. I especially loved the nuttiness of the buckwheat crepes. We shared a Red Velvet dessert crepe which was a lovely (although very sweet) ending to a delicious breakfast. Service was excellent too.

Google
The food was good. Coffee was strong. I like it. It's located in an interesting area with other businesses within a neighborhood.

Google
It was ok food and coffee. Offered GF crepe, they aren't what I expected but were ok. Omelet was good but coffee was old. Customer service was ok too.

Google
Absolute favorite spot for coffee and brunch. The staff always treats us great and super friendly. The lattes are excellent with espresso ice cubes. The price is well worth the food and portions are generous. They have fresh specials weekly. But I prefer the omelets. It’s great to find a spot you can count on to be consistent and exciting. Love this place love this staff.

Yelp
It's sad Voo La Voo is gone. There is no other restaurant like this. They will be missed!!

Yelp
Holy dessert! We went to eat next door and decided to grab a chocolate croissant but what we got was sooo much more. It's called the chocolate croissant bread pudding but it's NOT pudding!!! It's literally a smashed croissant fried with ice cream and it's to die for. That's all we had but I can only imagine what their food taste like. We will be back! Especially for the happy hour on wine and bubbly! Stay tuned.

Yelp
If you have a craving for a crepe and want to dine outside the beautiful Florida weather this is the place to be. Whether you choose the salmon or the chicken crepe it is delicious. The crepes have a delicate crunchiness which I love. Service is quick and you order up front and then find your table. This restaurant has done an excellent job focusing on what it does well.

Yelp
My best friend and I went to eat brunch here and we loved the food. The crepe was flavorful so was the drink. You pay when you go inside and when our food was delivered we received great service. The ambiance is relaxed and good for little groups and pets. I am glad they had little treats and even meals for your furry friend if you need them. I would definitely return.

Yelp
This place is an outdoor oasis with awesome musics and wonderful vibes. Their brunch options are great and they always have some cool specials to try. We bring our dogs here to dine Al fresco and everyone is just so nice and friendly. I am really bummed they are being pushed out by developers so I will frequent this place as often as I can. Afterwards, take a stroll to the back of the plaza and say hi to Doris the Tortoise. She's lonely over there. Coffee here is also so good. There's so much to love about this place.

Yelp
I went to Voo La Voo cafe for the time this Saturday. My friend and I met up and ordered some red wine for our girl talk. The cab was very smooth and nice. The atmosphere was extremely lively. They had plants everywhere, a live musician, Jamaican music, and really friendly waiters. We didn't order food during this outing but the food on the menu looked fantastic. I will def be going back to try some dishes. The atmosphere in itself was very fun. Good vibes with an eclectic French feel.

Yelp
I love love love this place! I really wanted to try a new brunch spot. I was craving something sweet. I went on Sunday. And I really enjoyed the staff. They were super nice and so helpful. The space is so freaking cute. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. It almost felt like you are . The FOOOD ! I had the blueberry crepe 10/10. So delicious. Light and just the right amount of sweetness. The fruits are fresh. Red velvet 6/10. The only reason I did not like the red velvet is because it had chocolate filling and I don't like chocolate. I would have enjoyed this more if it was without the chocolate. The French toast 10/10. Sooo good. It had nice crust to it. I really like the added fresh fruit. It definitely add to the foodie experience. That omelet! 10/10. I swear I swallow that omelet so fast.It was cooked to perfection. It was soo good. It had a nice creamy based which I enjoyed so much. The different ingredients on the omelette with the biscuit was just perfection to me. I had the pina colada and tequila sunshine ( I think). Both was fantastic. The pina colada had more liquor. I felt it after I was done. Enjoyed both I would suggest visiting this spot when it's raining ( Floridians are scared of rain water for some reason) or Sunday afternoon. If you go during peak hours it will be hard to find parking. I love this place. Highly encourage other to visit!

Yelp
Loved this cafe! The Chef is fantastic! Best croissants! The omelette was cooked to perfection and the server, Claudia, was very friendly. I'm sorry, I did not know about this café sooner! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
We were near by and were looking for some place to eat breakfast. We picked Voo La Voo by name alone. We had a hard time finding it because when you approach it appears to be in a residential area. Then we remembered it was near the Alchemist. I had a smoke salmon crepe. It was okay. It didn't wow me. My husband had the smoked ham cheese and egg crepe. He enjoyed it. We also ordered a side order of potatoes. It was OK. There were some pieces that were a little burnt but other than that it tasted good. I also had a cafe au lait. The atmosphere is nice. We ordered at the register and the food was brought to us. The inside is a dark and the outside area is tented and the fans kept it nice and cool. All in all, it was okay. It was a one and done for me.

Yelp
This is the third time I've been to this wonderful little cafe. As usual, the food is yummy, the service is efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere is one of a kind. There is a small indoor seating area and an outside patio seating area. The atmosphere is very quaint with the French music playing and the cute outside garden area. I felt like I was not in South Florida. I ordered the special, which was a seafood quiche. It came with a fresh mixed-greens salad. The portion was big, but I finished it all. This place is definitely a must for places to bring out of town visitors. I believe they only serve, breakfast and lunch, hence they close mid afternoon. Try this place out if you haven't been!

Yelp
A local restaurant in a very cute location. A great place to grab a bite and reflect on the murals in the area. Got the savory pesto arugula avocado crepe with goat cheese. And it was good but not incredibly wow. Tasted like a dosa filled with raw toppings which isn't a bad thing but i just wanted a dosa at the end of it lol. I felt like it could have used less arugula and a bit more flavor to it. Fortunately they do have hot sauce to add to it. I do want to try their sweet crepes next time! Service is kind and quick. Parking difficult good luck lol

Yelp
Excellent crêpes and by far the best one I have had in the US. I was born and raised in France, where crêpes are an institution. The best ones are made of buckwheat flavor, which is what Voo La Voo Cafe is using. You can feel the business is owned by french people, and that results in delicious crêpes. I liked mine for many reasons, but more specifically because they made the outside crunchy with some melted cheese. Hard to explain, but excellent. I highly recommend this place and will come back.

Yelp
Very nice breakfast had special Belgium Waffle with eggs and coffee great place. My wife had crepes and coffee.

Yelp
Voo La Voo is nestled in a cute artsy area with other restaurants with the same low key vibe. We got recommendations from the employee fr the front and they were perfect suggestions! The food came out quickly and it was all so tasty. I got the berry compote crepe and it was amazing. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Iris G.

Yelp
Nestled on the edge of Wilton Manors, Voo La Voo is right next to the Alchemist, to the right. They have cute indoor and outdoor seating. Service is always very sweet and everything on their menu is completely fresh and delicious. From fresh pastries, crepes, orange juice, espresso and the full nine, you cannot go wrong! Super cute and worth a visit for friendly service and tasty food!

Yelp
We have always enjoyed our visits to VLV Cafe. We appreciate this out-of-the-way locals' favorite never disappoints. We go for the omelettes but my mother-in-law always enjoys their French toast. The atmosphere is always pleasant and allows for conversation or just an opportunity to enjoy a quiet meal. Tip: don't skip their freshly-squeezed orange juice; such a delicious, sweet treat shouldn't be hard to find in the Sunshine State but it is increasingly becoming a rarity. Go. Enjoy.

Yelp
Really cute, cozy French restaurant off the beaten path. Everything was delicious!! Definitely a great place to mix up the beach vibes when visiting Fort Lauderdale.
google avatar

Justin S.

Yelp
Outstanding croque madame, fresh squeezed OJ, service with a smile at a great price. I wish this place was at home I would go every day.

Dr. D.

Yelp
Excellent food. Everything is so well made. It is delicious. The service is nice as well. It gets hot outside, and that is where the seating is, but there are fans, and they now have a tent that covers the outside tables. The tables aren't always cleaned quickly, and the chairs aren't always comfortable. Parking is always a headache. However, the food is unmatched, so I will excuse everything else.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. We found our way up here for an early breakfast last weekend as a last minute decision and I'm so glad we did. Y'all, that guava crepe is perfection. It's like this Cuban-French fusion of deliciousness and I am here for it! Husband really enjoyed his French toast, as did my kids. The omelette was wonderful. There is a great covered patio space that protects you from bad weather and the interior is very kitschy. Oh, how could I forget? They have mimosas!!! They were enjoyable and they used a decent champagne. I'd definitely go again!
google avatar

Catheline G.

Yelp
The location is very nice. The food was ok. I didn't feel welcomed. I wouldn't be come back again.
google avatar

Yelp
It's a bit tricky to find, and parking isn't so great. But, at least breakfast was good. We ordered a couple of things and some potatoes. My wife had a smoked salmon and lemon cream cheese crepe. My wife liked it, and I liked the bite I had. Me, I had the ham and cheese crepe with a pair of over easy eggs. It's a bit different from what I usually have for breakfast. It was good. The only thing I didn't care for, other than the bent fork, was the potatoes.

Susan B.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. Service was 10 star. We will be back to try the crepes. Coffee is definitely a french blend. Yumm all around

Yelp
Crazy that I need to re-do this review even though my first one was seven months ago. But I can't let 2021 end without saying this is truly a five star experience! Today's visit was like all the others warmly greeted by the lovely lady inside with the French accent, the exquisite food and beautiful atmosphere. Today's visit we chose a high top which even gave us a better view of the fellow diners, beautiful outdoors, lovely bougainvillea in bloom and live music playing in the background. If this isn't the most beautiful way to spend the last breakfast on NYE I do not know what is. If you haven't gone please bookmark and go. You will definitely thank me for sharing this place with you. The food I am partial to the crepes they are the best you will ever have. Mine today was the Chicken béchamel with chicken, spinach and cheese. Served with a side salad and to make it festive have a mimosa. Theirs is delicious and today mine had a fresh blackberry it truly was over the top.

Yelp
Very good food. Nice vibe. Unexpected and pleasant surprise. Has a bohemian feel to it. Food is fresh and tasty. I had the Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs bacon and a side of potatoes. The potatoes were perfect. My only minus is that my waffles were room temperature and not as crispy as I would have liked. Owners are very nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
What an adorable little find! Was going to Alchemist next door but ended up here. The crepes rival any crepes we had in France! The service is quick and efficient. Savory and sweet crepes were tasty. The ambiance was cute with parrots squawking on a nearby tree. It's hidden away in the midst of a residential neighborhood. What an authentic French vibe! Would definitely recommend and return.

Yelp
Ordered * Sweet Crepe with Nutella and Strawberry * Smoked Salmon Panini with brie, capers and tomatoes, served with a side of spring mix salad. It's a cozy quaint French restaurant in Wilton Manors, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Limited seating is available on the inside; however, there is additional seating on the patio area. Our server Murielle who had been there for 4 years was fantastic at explaining the menu, everything looked worth trying. The crepe was okay, nothing over the top but makes a simple breakfast. The panini was fresh, salmon smoked as it should. I also ordered a glass of orange juice and was happy to see it was freshly squeezed. That's always a plus. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast. We were advised to return on the weekend for Larry's BBQ (Sylvia's husband) and a relaxing afternoon of music. I look forward to trying this and their croissants.
google avatar

Chad C.

Yelp
Excellent service. Beautiful outdoor dining. Crepe was not homemade. Just a warmed up crepe with average fillings. Paid $7 for a hot chocolate that tasted like Swiss Miss. would not go back. Coffee was just m'eh

Yelp
Wow!!! Absolutely love everything about this charming cafe - Outstanding food, atmosphere and staff. I've found my new brunch spot!!
google avatar

Alicia A.

Yelp
The seafood quiche was exquisite. It was moist, fluffy and airy. Although it is a large portion I did not feel stuff. It was just right. We also purchased dog food. The portions are a reasonable size and my dogs loved it.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best savory crepes I've ever had. I've been to France a bunch of times, and this easily compares to many of the top places I've been to. It's a great hidden gem and I'm so glad we were staying nearby. It's a nice spot with a great patio. Perfect way to start your day.

Yelp
I love Voo La Voo's outdoor eating area. It feels like I'm eating in a garden. I had the prosciutto crepe and it was very tasty. I really enjoyed the berry crepe, the fruits were fresh and delicious. My husband had the French onion soup and loved it. Pro tip: you order inside and they give you a number and bring the food out to you.

Christine H.

Yelp
Looks like a fun place on the weekends ! My visit was a Wednesday 11am. Worth the hunt to find ! Brunch was amazing! Two omelets and bloody Mary's with an order of potatoes to share -yummy! Ingredients were all fresh and herbs selected for potatoes and omelets were delicious !! I am trying to avoid the sweets - but cakes inside looked homemade !! Menus mentions a long list of Belgian waffles and crepes !!!

Cathy A.

Yelp
This authentic French restaurant is truly a hidden treasure in Wilton Manors! Crepes, omlettes & other specialties are absolutely delish! Special thanks to owner, Sylvie, for my amazing berry crepr & champagne cocktail to kick off my birthday morning!!! We highly recommen Voo La Voo for a quaint feel of visitimg gardens in a French cafe style atmosphere!!!
google avatar

Michelle H.

Yelp
Lovely setting with outdoor seating (well covered). This is one of our favorite breakfast spots. The owner is always there to greet us. La Printaniere is phenomenal!! Bonus for me is gluten-free crepes.
google avatar

Bernice R.

Yelp
Don't let the heat keep you away! This charming cafe's outdoor garden is covered and four fans provide a cooling breeze. Come over for one of Sylvia's fabulous and creative crèpes, a café au lait, and a fresh squeezed orange juice (my favorite brunch) or a croque madame or an omelette. (And, if the heat is really difficult for you, there are a few tables inside, where it is air conditioned.).
google avatar

rachel n.

Yelp
Voo La Voo is a cute little spot located in Wilton manors. It's very causal and you either order at the counter or through the QR code at the tables. Lots of outdoor seating, very vibey. I ordered the croque madame croissant with eggs and a Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary came out quickly and the entire followed soon after. Both were delicious and good portions. The service was excellent and the lady at the counter was a sweetheart! Will be back
google avatar

Iris. G.

Yelp
Stopped by with a friend to grab lunch. We actually intended to dine next door, but because of the music and my love for Paris, we decided to change the venue and dine at Voo La Voo. First of all you should know that you must order and pay for your food at the counter, and then find a table to sit. I had Caffe late, and Panini, Brie and tomato. The coffee was large which made me very happy, but was not the best , the Panini was ok. 2 hours later, I spend in my friend's bathroom, for the next 3 hours. Not a great way to spend with a Friend who just moved to Wilton manors. The service was nit great either. By the way sugar is not placed with your coffee, you must get up and walk into the store to prep your coffee. The music and atmosphere is delightful, although a bit too loud for most of the tables.

Becky H.

Yelp
The place is a hidden gem!! Was in town and wanted to eat at a place that is not a chain. Found this on yelp and decided to give it a try, so glad I did. Food was delicious and the ambience was very quaint!! I would definitely go back and recommend this place! Just make sure you have cash as they do not accept credit card.

Sarah G.

Yelp
it's a cute out-of-the-way place. The food was fresh. The atmosphere was nice. The service (in spite of only one person seemingly doing everything) was good. I recommend.
google avatar

AJ R.

Yelp
This place is really good if you're in the mood for crepes. The crepes were a little on the tougher side than what I'm used to, but it was a nice touch. Decided to go with something sweet and savory. Got the chicken crepe and red velvet crepe. Also started with French onion soup where they lose one star. The French onion soup was fairly warm and slightly watery. Definitely a let down. Finished everything up with a Bellini and an affogato which definitely made the whole experience. Overall good food and cute location

Jayne H.

Yelp
The very best ever buckwheat crepes Ambiance is cozy people are friendly and owners are French so how could you get a better crepe. The service is great
google avatar

Kaitlyn G.

Yelp
Number 4 savory crepe It was delicious just like the potatoes and the pineapple rum cake was just amazing. The cappuccino wasn't good.Great atmosphere and vibes for a Sunday brunch. Great atmosphere and vibes for a Sunday brunch.

Yelp
Delicious Buckwheat crepes. Gluten free options available. Very friendly and cordial service. Pleasant garden atmosphere. Nice place to get away and have a relaxing meal.
google avatar

Renee K.

Yelp
Brunch: Bolognese omelette served with biscuit Special. Savory crepe with walnut, bacon, pear and Swiss (highly recommend) and a dessert crepe and Nutella, strawberries and nanas, classic. I wrote about the amazing food first because it's really good and I don't say about too many places that are meteocre. Service was great. Local spot, cute area. You won't regret trying! Parking is a lil bit of a pain but well worthit.
google avatar

Bill S.

Yelp
Best crêpe I've ever had, I left with a full belly, and still salivating, will continue to support with nothing but confidence,
google avatar

LaShawn T.

Yelp
The crepes are delish. So fresh and full of goodness and Sylvie, the co-owner, is a delight. BTW, that fresh squeezed orange juice is life changing
google avatar

Yelp
They're friendly, food is very good in taste and presentation and the place looks different in a good way.

Yelp
One of our favorite places to stop for breakfast! The crepes are amazing and everything is so fresh and delicious! My family came into town and we enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here. The coffee is rich, the food is packed with flavor and you get great service from the owner herself! I tend to always get the Salmon Crepe because it is simply my favorite. My sisters who don't tend to enjoy Salmon in the morning had a taste and were so pleasantly surprised! On a previous visit my husband tried the salmon omelette and really enjoyed his dish, and my sister had the French onion soup which was fantastic! This time they all got the madame croquette and said it was delicious! The portion sizes are perfect and the OJ is fresh squeezed. This is definitely one you will want to try! If you are looking for a wonderful breakfast that is worth every penny, look no further!

Yelp
Best crepes in town, wonderful place! Owners are always there and food quality is excellent!
