Went here for the first time with my friends last night, everybody working made it a memorable experience! Isaiah makes the best drinks hands down and knows how to give top notch customer service. The owner was present at that time and he was kind enough to interact with us.

Stopped by for a post-work happy hour with a coworker and had an amazing time. The vibes were on point—relaxed, fun, and perfect for winding down. ISIAH really made the experience memorable with a great music selection that kept the energy up. He was super friendly, held a great conversation, and even had fun games for us to play, which made it all the more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

Voodoo was such a great experience, Isaiah took great care of me and my friends. No skips on the playlist, literally song after song I’m lit lol. Definitely my favorite happy hour spot on u street, my favorite drinks are the Mardi-Gras-arita and also the gator bait 🐊😁

Isiah is the best bartender! He was so friendly! Also a veteran! We had a wonderful conversation! Which is what I look for in a bartender ! And the drink were amazing. He helped us pick out drinks and delivered!

VooDoo Bar was exceptional. I had a great time playing beer with friends! Isaiah extended HAPPY HOUR so if you want cocktails they are $10! & SHOTS $7!!! What a steal! THANK YOU ISAIAH !

Isaiah was our bartender and treated us like family and all of our drinks were fantastic. Definitely going to come back and would recommend to everyone to come and spend some time, can’t go wrong when where you’re treated like family

Came here for a happy hour on a second or maybe third date and loved it! Very small and intimate bar that only serves drinks. When you're here, you're here for a reason. My friend and I came on a Friday after work and easily found 2 seats at the bar. There are a few seats in the window area, if you like to people watch as well. If I recall there were 1-2 tables in the main room for seating as well. We tried 3 different fishbowls and enjoyed them all, but the blue one was our favorite. All 3 were very sweet though. If you are not a sugary drink type of person, I am not sure what to recommend. I would go back for another chill happy hour!

New management, new paint job, new vibe! As a huge New Orleans fan, I'm happy to get that southern vibe where ever and whenever I can get it. Come see the bead-drenched chandeliers; the stock photos of relverly on Bourbon Street, and the Gold and Purple painted walls. But mostly come for the happy hour cheap drinks (hurricanes, well, Abita beer), some t.v. screens for watching the game, and some friendly service. From the same owners of the downstairs cocktail 'speak easy' The Alchemist, this is the chill place where you can come and just be! Maybe drink a fish bowl of something blue? Maybe share a fishbowl with friends (they have single size bowls and group size bowls); either way this is a low-key option on U street with plenty of space to bring friends, or just chill and chat with the bartender. No fuss, no must, just like The Big Easy!

Came for the grand opening, stayed for the drinks. Will definitely be back for the happy hour. If you're in the neighborhood give voodoo bar dc a try.

Came here with some friends for the grand opening and had a blast. The ambiance is very welcoming and relaxing with good vibes and music. The staff was top notch and the drinks were very good. Even got to catch the late March Madness games while hanging out as they several TVs throughout the establishment. Will be frequenting this bar for sure, if you and your friends are looking for a cool spot to hang out look no further!!!

The most unique experience on U st! They offer Bourbon Street cocktails including Fishbowls and hurricanes. They also have party size fishbowls! Fun vibes and nice decor!

Such a fun place! I love the fish bowls I highly recommend you to stop by!!!!! The staff had high energy and were very friendly.

I came for Opening Day this past Friday. New Orleans/Mardi Gras themed. Fun Drinks. Great Staff. Highly Recommend!!

This place was amazing. Had a great time and I was able to watch the game with a few friends. The drinks were delicious and the staff was very friendly. The Dj was great too! Can't wait to come back!

They don't check anybody that come into the lounge and it puts ppl in danger. Somebody brought a taser in and tased somebody on NYE. The establishment is very unprofessional and don't stand on their word about agreements on venue purchases. There was no hookah despite promise of it. They also overcharge for drinks and have a limited bar to ensure u pay more.

owners do not like black people. do not go there. we heard him say there is too many black people at his bar crawl
