The Best Doughnut Shops in Dallas-Fort Worth | Eater Dallas

"If maximalism were a doughnut, its name would be VooDoo. This chain out of Portland finally landed a shop on Lower Greenville offering all day and late(ish) night service to those in need of a sweet treat. It was developed with stoners in mind, so take that into account and order the weirdest one." - Courtney E. Smith

What to Order at Voodoo Doughnut in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"A Portland-born, over-the-top doughnut shop that recently opened its first Dallas outpost in Lower Greenville drew long opening-day lines and still attracts crowds; there’s a to-go counter for advance orders to skip the queue. Open until midnight, freshness can vary—counter staff assemble orders from trays, so you might get a warm, oven-fresh item or something that’s been sitting for a while depending on timing. A half-dozen tasting included an apple fritter, classic glazed, maple bacon bar (named “Greatest Yeast Donut in America” by the Underground Donut Tour), Portland cream (Bavarian-cream filled with chocolate icing and decorative “eyes”), vicious hibiscus (hibiscus frosting with chocolate sprinkles), and a chocolate coconut cake. Standouts were the warm apple fritter (possibly one of the best) and the maple bacon bar; the cake doughnut also held up well the next day, while the classic glazed was a solid baseline. Downsides: many doughnuts are heavily iced—hibiscus lost its delicate flavor under sweet, heavy icing and sprinkles, and the Portland cream had too much icing on top—so expect bold sweetness and varying freshness. Note also the company’s recent labor controversies: Portland workers unionized in September 2022 after pandemic organizing, and the National Labor Relations Board found prior 2021 firings during a heat-wave walkout to be unlawful. Verdict: would gladly return for the apple fritter; otherwise a special-occasion stop." - Courtney E. Smith

Voodoo Doughnut in Houston is a must-visit for anyone craving a sweet treat! The location is super convenient, making it easy to swing by whenever you’re in the area. Parking is never a hassle thanks to their ample parking options—a huge plus for a city spot. The real draw is, of course, the impressive variety of donuts. Each donut is generously sized and deliciously dense, offering a truly satisfying bite. The jelly-filled donuts deserve a special shout-out—not only are they packed with just the right amount of jelly, but the flavor is perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. If you’re visiting in October, don’t miss their famous jelly-filled Voodoo donut. It’s brilliantly decorated for Halloween, capturing the season’s festive spirit with both taste and creativity. Whether you’re a donut enthusiast or just looking for a fun seasonal treat, Voodoo Doughnut delivers every time!

Google
The place is so nice and stylized. I loved the rotating displayed donuts, however what i loved most was the service. We asked for the Pumkin spice donut and they couldn't find one. and once we left, 50ft, the man runs up and delivers it after he found one. Whom ever worked register at 7pm October 19th, thank u so much for making a wonderful memory. will be back and suggest anyone else to try!!

Google
First time trying Voodoo and it was AMAZING. Nikki was so kind when giving recommendations and provided awesome customer service which definitely leaves a huge impression nowadays. The store was spotless and the food looked SO appetizing. I ended up going with The Homer and my friend got the Raspberry Romeo, which btw, 100/10. Definitely coming back to try more flavors :)

Google
This is by far one of the most overrated shops in Dallas. It never fails that when I work a coworker order something from this place, they either are out of something or they don’t have enough of it ready. Why open at 7 AM if you aren’t gonna be able to offer all of your donuts? It is the same for the evening time as well because I’ve stopped by on multiple occasions and you guys are out of Apple fritters or Other items. Your menu has a variety of coffee and teas on it but you’ll only serve one type of coffee and I’ve been told by staff that you don’t serve it after 5:00 PM. This is the kicker though the name of the company is Voodoo donuts so we ordered a Voodoo dozen for family who is in town and what we received was nothing close to the Voodoo dozen. It was a mixture of random donuts and somewhere still, some looks like kindergarten decorated them, and some of them you can tell there was barely any of what put into it such as the look of the churro cheesecake. Most of these doughnuts do not look the way they are advertised and this is definitely not a voodoo dozen!

Google
I decided to try it after randomly passing by on the way to somewhere else. After all, I had been hearing so much about this place online and YouTube videos. I was thrilled they had vegan options, but man, what a let-down. I got The Dirt donut and although the donut base by itself was very good, the topping was WAY overly sweet to the point I couldn't finish half of it and the Oreo pieces on top were stale. Truly a once in a lifetime experience because I won't be back.

Google
Thavia and the manager are authentic gems! We stopped in for family fun night and my husband was blown away. GREAT value for the size of donuts. Got a dozen for the house and a dozen for the office. It’s giving big back energy. 😂

Google
Cookies & Cream, Peanut Butter Oreo, Captain Crunch & anything filled with their jam is by far the best ones! Reminds us of Austin & 6th Street. Glad to have it in Greenville! Great late night snack

Google
Doughnuts were amazing! But I will warn you, they are also quite sweet! I always have a sweet tooth so I didn't mind it at all. I got the maple bacon bar, Memphis mafia, churro cheesecake, and the strawberry go-tart. Service was great and the atmosphere was very cute. I can't wait to try different flavors next time!

Yelp
It's my first time visiting a Voodoo Doughnut and it wasn't in Oregon. Coming to this location on Greenville Ave since it was close to where I was hanging out one weekend night. This donut is a hefty size beast compared to the donuts I normally have. I got the old dirty bastard. The sweetness from the chocolate frosting, Oreo cookie, and peanut butter drizzle was a little too sweet for my liking, but still good. Given its hefty size it looked like I barely did any damage to it. It wasn't going to waste and was polished off in the morning as part of my breakfast. Voodoo doughnut gets five stars for artwork, creative flavors and names, and service.

Yelp
Voodoo Doughnut is one of those places you have to try at least once. The location is great, the service was friendly, and I really appreciate that they offer vegan options--it's nice to see that kind of inclusivity. The vibe is always very nice The donuts themselves weren't bad, but the flavor could be a little more balanced. They look super fun and creative, but I found myself wanting them to taste as good as they look. Overall, worth checking out if you're nearby, but for me it's more of a "fun experience" spot than an everyday donut go-to.
google avatar

Lauren G.

Yelp
We tried the banana pudding and the strawberry doughnut. Both were tough to chew and didn't have any flavor. The doughnut didn't taste fresh. The inside is very clean and offered plenty of options . Try for yourself!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome, creative unusual donut store bought a dozen didn't make it past 10 o'clock. I will be back voodoo doughnut.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try Voodoo doughnut for a while, so I finally stopped by. I ordered three donuts to try. I got the Diablos Rex, Homer, and a Blueberry cake donut. I wasn't really impressed by the donuts, the seemed to be a little hard and not the level of quality I was expecting. The Diablos Rex didn't even have a pentagram on it, it looked like they just drew whatever on the donut. My favorite one was the blueberry cake donut, I think this one was nice and moist and tasted fresh compared to the others. The place is cute and pink inside with a nice looking chandelier. The service was average. I will probably come back a little earlier in the day maybe the quality will be better.
google avatar

Channa T.

Yelp
My 1st time here and it was ok. They weren't too sweet, which I like but they weren't as fluffy the way I like them.
google avatar

Yelp
Yummy donuts after bar hopping on Lower Greenville. Service is amazing. Easy access not easy parking. I have never had a bad donut from voodoo

Yelp
MEH...frankly less than meh. 11:30 am on a Sunday (I'd expect would be donut primetime) and both my donuts were cold...not room temp, cold as if they had been refrigerated. Maybe the gooey gooey topping on my blueberry cake donut was added to order...but the result was frosting with a blueberry donut garnish, rather than a frosted donut. Just kind of gross. The employees were completely cheerless...is it a horrible place to work, or a company that pays little attention to hiring? I believe the last time a big corporate donut conglomeration moved into Dallas was Crispy Creme. You walked in, put on a hat, watched the donuts being made. Frequently the donuts were so fresh they were still warm. There was romance and theater. Then Hypnotic Donuts (RIP) entered the fold with the creative approach to donut, in the tradition of Voodoo, but with friggin amazing chicken biscuits...so its not like Voodoo was coming with something new. I guess the fascination with is the corporate bling and that they are open through the evening and into the night. But, the reality is that the donuts are not nearly as good as you would find at any local donut establishment. IF if you NEED a post-party donut (ok I get that)...this is likely your only option, and certainly the only one you will find as you wander onto the sidewalks at 2 am as the bars are closing.
google avatar

Mari A.

Yelp
Great donuts for a late snack. They are kind and helpful everytime we stop by. They have plenty of parking on the side.
google avatar

Zerenity W.

Yelp
Located in the heart of lower Greenville so parking can be a hassle but they have a small lot. Inside there are standing tables only if you want to hang out but it seems more like an order and go. I like how they have a carousel that displays all the donuts. They were out of apple fritters so we opted for 2 banana fritters and a buttermilk bar. The fritters are huge so one was enough. We waited for the fritters because the cashier stated the baker was making it fresh but the donut itself was still old and the only thing she was adding was the toppings. It sucks they don't warm them for you so basically their just hard. I wasn't impressed but I think it's cool they have vegan options.

Yelp
The first time I tried Voodoo Doughnuts was in Portland, Oregon and their amazing donuts never disappoint! My favorite is the Mango donut, though the New Hibiscus that they added to their menu recently is also a great choice! The employee working at the counter was also very friendly and speedy when it came to her service! I will definitely come back to try more of their fun and unique flavors!
google avatar

Mayra A.

Yelp
This place is sugar heaven! Aesthetically adorable. Friendly staff. My favorite was the oh captain my captain and bacon maple bar.
google avatar

Tonya W.

Yelp
I hate to be so honest on this post.... But my donuts this go round were bad! Stale - and the banana one is my most favorite FAVE OF THEM ALL WE went in after karaoke night for a treat and regretted it so much!!! Service was fair Place is awesome as always, clean and a VIBE!! Late nights are a PLUS I am sad about my order because donuts here ain't CHEAP but FUN and popular. I will go back, but definitely need a do over!
google avatar

Divine K.

Yelp
I had a sweet tooth so I decided to stop by. I have had their regular glazed donut and it was decent. So I tried two specialty Donuts one being the churro cheesecake donuts and the other being the strawberry shortcake honestly they lacked flavor and they were just straight sugar. I felt like I was at the crumbl cookie for donuts. The staff is friendly and the theme looks cool but the donuts were lacking. If you like flavorful sweet this is not the move
google avatar

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Boston Creme Solid donut spot! I think this place is based in Portland, was a delightful surprise to find a branch here in Dallas, right next to the incredible Via Triozzi. We dropped by after dinner for a sweet treat, and it was so nice and fluffy and sweet! Super cute interior, great for pics!
google avatar

Elellta T.

Yelp
This is a great spot to hit up late at night after checking out the restaurants or bars in Lower Greenville. They have an all pink and fun interior. The staff was also super friendly and helped us figure out what to try from their huge selection of flavors--it can be a bit overwhelming! The donuts were delicious but weren't super fresh, and some were a little hard to bite into. I definitely want to give it another try , maybe earlier in the day next time.

Yelp
While the donuts have fun designs and flavor options, I felt the quality of the donuts themselves was mediocre. I had originally seen VooDoo Doughnuts on a Food Network show and was so excited for them to come to Dallas! From the outside, the shop is bright pink, vibrant, and looks exciting, and the inside is almost like the toy store of donut shops with so much to see and a carousel of doughnut options! I ordered the Apple fritter, Memphis Mafia, old dirty bastard, & the bacon maple bar coming out to just over $20 with tax. My favorite of them all was the Memphis mafia from a flavor perspective, but it was very greasy. I felt that the other ones just tasted like a bunch of sugar and were slightly stale. I will say the saving grace in my opinion is the staff. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, friendly, attentive, and thorough. All in all, if it's a bucket list must for you, I wouldn't deter you from going, but I wouldn't encourage going out of your way for it.

Ann M.

Yelp
Instantly addictive. I've tried the Banana Cream Pie donut and the Diablos Rex chocolatey one. Hooked for life. They were both so good! The place was very clean and Nickie, who was working behind the counter, seemed as excited for us to have our first Voo-Doo experience as we were.
google avatar

Fatima K.

Yelp
The vibes are artsy and dramatic. Ordered the 'oh captain my captain,' cake donut with chocolate icing, and the snickers doughnut, all three were fresh and tasty. Note these donuts are HUGE, the packaging/ boxing are cute, sturdy, and suitable as gifts. The employees are patient and attentive. The place is well kept, including the bathrooms. Will be back!
google avatar

Joshua L.

Yelp
I've visited this location a few times now, and every time the staff have been super friendly! It's a pretty small space, but you can very quickly order and head out. I really like the raised glazed donut- the others are good too but can get extremely sweet. Pricing is not bad but the crazier donuts can get kinda expensive. I probably wouldn't take this over local donut shops, but Voodoo is always a good option especially with its later hours!
google avatar

Beth W.

Yelp
How can you not love donuts that make you smile as you enjoy the different flavors that are out of the ordinary. We were first introduced to this addiction when we lived out in WA. We still have our favorites (e.g. Old Dirty Bastard), and this time we also tried something new - Memphis Mafia. I think we may have found a new favorite! We tend to buy just one donut per person rather than a dozen or half dozen as I find I can't eat more than one (or even a full one) in one sitting!
google avatar

Zhesi C.

Yelp
It is a cute donut place, we got a dozen of mixed donuts and cock n balls. They put white icing at the tip of cock n balls Price is slightly high, parking is tough, and service is fast. Ambience: 10/10 Food: 8/10 Price: 8/10 Service: 10/10
google avatar

Harrison T.

Yelp
The seasonal flavor was the turtle cheesecake was decadent and rich. But I was truly craving a plain raised original glazed donut and it hit the spot. Shoutout to the girl at the register for all the recommendations and we will be back to try the banana cream pie. The interior had plenty of seating and were plenty busy.
google avatar

Brenda A.

Yelp
Donuts were extremely DRY! Would not recommend. Expensive for not being good. I've had better donuts from the grocery store
google avatar

Kady L.

Yelp
Finally in DTX! I am a plain jane... I will always go for the plain cake or some sort of cake. I been to different locations outside of Texas and thought they had a Red velvet but not yet at this location. Got the DIRT for my roommate which looked really goood. It had oreos as the toppings a on glazed donut. Service is fast! The menu was hard to read backwards being in the store. Its displayed outside of the store. It was too cold to stay outside. :(
google avatar

Vanessa M.

Yelp
My donut was good but not the quality I was expecting from my past trips to Voodoo in other cities. Yummy but the Bavarian cream tasted like box mix. The line was a bit slow to move but I think it was because of the customers not being able to make a choice. Mo was very nice and helped us get a little design on our donut. Came out great! The shop is super new and had a lot of space. Hopefully they can maintain the shine.
google avatar

Yelp
I tried voodoo donuts in Denver many years ago and was so excited to find that they were branching out to the DFW area! The ladies working that night were so kind and patient as we perused for 5 minutes trying to figure out which donut we wanted! I ordered the blueberry cake donut, and it was really amazing! The donut shop has no seating! So you'll need to buy and take it to go and eat it somewhere else! The parking adjacent to the lot has a limit of 15 minutes for the donut shop (and other nearby businesses). There's a limited number of spots though! So plan accordingly. There's a lot of street parking in nearby neighborhood streets (parallel parking required).

Yelp
so we were driving to my cousin's house & we typically drive down Greenville to get to get house when we passed Voodoo Doughnuts. she mentioned that they just opened up & they were excited to try them when the hype died down. I decided to surprise her with a Voodoo dozen for dinner that night, but Bethany A did me one better. they have giant rotating display cases so when I saw this giant oddly shaped don't, I had to ask her. she was really sweet and pointed to the donut since my daughter was with me as she didn't know if it was appropriate to say out loud. but my daughter knows the human anatomy & thought it was hilarious. Bethany A. went out of her way to help me customize it after I told her I'd be interested in getting the phallic donut for my cousin's baby shower. I ended up surprising her at dinner with the donut, but my daughter got so excited she whispered and told her it was a penis. so all in all, it went well lol the expecting parents enjoyed the penis donut & both said it was delicious. quite the gender reveal if I do say so myself. also the voodoo dozen was great lol but that penis donut was the show stealer. thank you, Bethany! you made our weekend!!

Yelp
Voodoo donuts opened 3 days ago and I am sooooo happy for this long awaited treasure to come to Dallas! Known for their in your face styling, these super flavorful treats do not disappoint. Perfect location on Greenville in Dallas. Street parking available and easy to access. Service was good, one employee even took my picture for me! With the grand opening they had 3-4 kiosks open and staffed to take orders. We ordered 2 boxes of donuts and a chocolate milk. Ohmigosh they are the best! The yeast on the yeast donuts is on point. All 4 in my party were thrilled. Of course there is the issue of price. These are super expensive and definitely a treat and not a regular event. But soooo worth it!! And the donuts are gargantuan. This place is progressive and trendy and just delicious. It's about time we got one!!! Plus- they are open until midnight for that sweet sweet donut crave!!
google avatar

Luz C.

Yelp
I decided to give this spot another shot. My boyfriend & I decided to get some late night donuts on a Thursday night. We found a parking spot thankfully and went inside. The ambiance was pretty chill for a Thursday night despite there being a line of people. Our cashier was super sweet and answered the questions we had. I ordered a Homer and grape donut. Both were delicious and fresh tasting. I personally liked the Homer better. I'm happy I gave this place another shot.

Yelp
Doing some thrifting on Lower Greenville and saw all these pink boxes passing me by. So cute! I had to investigate. Can't miss the location. Huge pink sign. The inside is just as gaudy. Barbie pink walls, extravagant chandeliers and a velvet (??) painting of Vanilla Ice greets u. Most of the trendy donut shops run out pretty quickly. I was there at 11 and there was plenty of everything left. Fully staffed to handle the crowd. I chose what I consider the basics just to see if I liked it. Glazed donut was airy with a good chew 5/5; chocolate old fashioned is a vanilla cake donut with chocolate on top. The cake was light, not dense, and crispy on the edges (5/5); buttermilk bar was another cake donut airy inside and crisp on the outside (5/5); bacon maple bar was way waaaaaay too sweet for me (1/5); canoli with cream but it was more like vanilla pudding and when I took a bite all of the filling fell out the other side (1/5) Huge variety. Something for everyone. I'll definitely be back to try something new!

Yelp
I had an absolute blast at Voodoo Donuts on Greenville! The store was super clean and everything was decked out in pink, which made it feel really fun and vibrant. I got the Voodoo Dozen, and the lady helping me was incredibly nice - she even let me switch one out for another! I also tried their seasonal special, the Razz one, and it was fantastic. The donuts are so cool and come in crazy flavors - they are definitely on the sweeter side. My favorites are probably the chocolate-dipped cream-filled and the maple bacon! The customer service was amazing, with super fun people working there. Everyone at work is enjoying these donuts today! Highly recommend! definitely a haul for me to get to this morning with traffic tho!
google avatar

Mary C.

Yelp
The counter staff was friendly , so service was good. We only purchased 2 donuts , bothe with filling. The chocloate one reminded me of Bavarian cream from Dunkin. I think it was pretty good. The Mango tango, the flavor itself was good. The frosting on top was way too sweet for me. Sweetness might be fine for others. We got free donut with sprinkles on top. This was surprisingly good. I just removed most of the sprikles. Cool vibe in a cool street.
google avatar

Yelp
This is our 4th time here. First 2 times was great! Donuts were great, the service was great, and the shop is very cute! Last night around 11pm the donuts were still great, but the service was terrible. The lady at the cashier was just rude and acted very inpatient with us, again. Everyone else is great. We don't know the menu by heart and we definitely don't know what's available and what isn't. If the donut isn't available then yes I need to see what else there is. No need for the eye rolling and the grunts. We even offered the people in back of us to go ahead. They declined because they were unsure of what they wanted. I just wanted to enjoy my Mother's Day donuts lol front of the house is just as important as back of the house. I don't care how great the food is, if you get treated badly it's not worth the money and gas to get there. Life's too expensive to pay for bad service.
google avatar

Andrea J.

Yelp
I first had VooDoo years ago in Portland so I was excited to try it again. I went early (around 8:30 on Sunday morning) and there was a small line. When I drove by around 9:30 the line was out the door! I tried their seasonal pumpkin cake donut and the maple cream yeast donut. The donuts are a good size, which is nice since they are pricey! The pumpkin one could have had a stronger flavor but the texture was great. The maple cream had Boston/Bavarian cream inside, not white cream (I guess I was expecting white cream given the design on the donut). One negative was the bumping music level that early in the morning is a bit overwhelming. I understand that it's part of the vibe, but the volume should be a little lower in the AM vs. PM.
google avatar

Jamie T.

Yelp
Don't come here with kids because the donuts can be adult themed! Rated R! Service is good! No issues with them! Ambiance is nice and the donuts are very well made, I appreciate them for opening up late at night.
google avatar

Dipesh P.

Yelp
Super friendly staff and relatively reasonable prices. We went opening week and were promptly greeted by a staff member who got us a menu and told us about the various options for boxes. The shop was clean and I really liked the rotating displays of donuts. I also was impressed that we walked out with 3 donuts for under $10! I thought for sure this would be one of those gimmick spots with $5+ donuts. I also liked that they had the classics as well! We got my kid some donut that literally came with a piece of bubble gum on top! We also got a double chocolate and a glazed old fashioned. I want to say the total was like $7.50 or so. Not a bad deal at all! There was almost no line (maybe 2 folks in front of us) -- but I think the line spanned a block or 2 on opening day!
google avatar

Yelp
I have been wanting to try these out for years. I have had one or two but they were usually a day old because people would bring them home from vacation. I remember the first time I saw these donuts on TV I really wanted to try them and so many people rave about them. Well I finally got my chance to try them out while here on vacation. I see why so many people like them. We tried 3 different ones this time as we had just come from the farmers market and had been sampling stuff all morning. I had the Banna cream pie and the Maple Blunt I had to It was funny. My girlfriend had the Maple bacon bar. I wanna say hers was the best out of the three we tried and had the best flavor and balance. The banana cream pie was good but it was just too much for me. It was super sweet but had a nice banana cream flavor. The maple Blunt I feel was more looks than anything else. The labor was not really there. I cant wait to go back so I can try all of them. Unfortunately it will have to wait till the next trip. I did really enjoy the decor in the lobby. You can tell that they actually put some effort in to it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the girl at the register had the attitude like yeah what do you want so that was kinda a let down. there was another lady in the back and she had a good attitude and was greeting guest but the girl at the register was either having a bad day or hating her job. Maybe next time we can get help from the other employee.

Mark R.

Yelp
We live 2.5 hours away. It was my son's birthday and we ordered a "Voodoo Dozen" with one change, he wanted a raspberry filled. I instructed "Charlie" 3 times of that requirement and as he filled them I trusted it was taken care of. All throughout he kept wanting to put different doughnuts in there other than the ones in the Voodoo dozen we ordered. In that nonsensical effort he didn't put my one request in the box. He taped it up and I left only to discover 2.5 hours later it was left out. I called back and all they offered was a free doughnut when we are back in Dallas and an apology. Ridiculous. Gave a 20% tip to Charlie to screw up. The least you could do is send a partial refund for your screw up. And no, I couldn't check them because he filled the box, closed it, put his little QR code sticker and then turned it around facing me. Don't trust that they are getting things correct.

Yelp
Ooh my!! This is a Sweet Tooth Heaven for those of us that can eat a donut anytime of day:) the donuts are very moist and the toppings are perfect and plentiful! First time in and the girl at the counter was very knowledgeable and recommended several flavors that were amazing! Clean cool lil shop with any flavor donuts you could think of and smells amazing!
google avatar

Shannon W.

Yelp
It's dangerous living so closely to this spot. Their donuts are amazing and the names are hilarious. If you can't mess with dairy or eggs, they have a ton of vegan options which are also delicious.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Voodoo Doighnuts has the best apple fritters in DFW. I ordered though Uber last weekend, and left a note to request crunchy edges and a high profile in the center to insure pillows if soft apple and cinnamon dough to contrast the exterior. They did not disappoint. The extra care Bree and her wonderful staff took to insure the order was right was (even a delivery order) greatly appreciated, and so thoughtful. I love this doughnuts shop, and will be back next week to try the blueberry cream cheese fritters. Blueberry cake donuts and churro old fashioned are my favorite cakes. And the maple bars and chocolate rings are amazing, voodoo icing is just the best, almost like a buttercream. BEST fritters, great doughnuts, and wonderful people make this place worth your time!

Marcella F.

Yelp
Yum, yum and YUM! It is worth the hype! We came all the way from Alaska and it didn't disappoint. Now, I'm not a huge donut eater, but these fluffy, scrumptious and delicious treats might make me rethink my stance on donuts. Great staff and so many options! Very cute spot too! I love the chandelier!

Jude M.

Yelp
Bethany was super helpful and knowledgeable about the vegan options. The doughnuts tasted amazing and I will be coming back. It ambiance was good for a grab and go, you could hang out and stand around some of the high top tables if you really want to.

Jasmin S.

Yelp
The idea and decor gives a nice feel. Once inside, the options they have an overwhelming and then after finally deciding and ordering they weren't as fresh as I thought they'd be. However, they tasted good still and had very interesting ideas for doughnuts. Service was quick and easy just a littleeeee pricy for some doughnuts tbh.

Yelp
Such a cute addition to lower Greenville! It's nice to able to grab a doughnut after hours and their walk up selection is abundant. They have so many odd but delicious flavors. The walk up counter is super convenient and the service was quick and efficient. Love it!

Yelp
Tried the mango donut and was pleasantly surprised! They saw I came with a dog and my friend stayed outside with her, so they offered a doggie donut as well which I thought was incredibly sweet! Clean place with a good selection, and good customer service!

Yelp
I see a Voodoo Doughnut and there's an 80% chance I'm going in. This one did not disappoint. They're making them fresh all the time, and they are welcoming and kind. We even got a free doughnut since we were in a rush and the one we wanted wasn't available. So nice. What we had instead was still delicious (chocolate raised doughnut).

Yelp
Voodoo Doughnuts offers such a cool concept for gourmet doughnuts anytime of day! My family recently ordered a few doughnuts and really enjoyed them. The doughnuts tasted chewy (in the best way), decadent, and soft. I love that they also offer an entire vegan selection! The staff acted friendly and gave excellent recommendations. Note that they do sell out of doughnuts so ask and don't feel disappointed if they don't have what you want that day. I think that VooDoo Doughnuts is worth the hype and price for their gourmet doughnuts based off flavor, taste and texture, and variety. They are made very well and are always fresh! If you want simple doughnuts, like chocolate or glaze, then I recommend going to a smaller donut shop. Overall, I highly recommend VooDoo Doughnuts and I look forward to trying different doughnuts each time I visit!
