"Voodoo Doughnut is planning to open its first Washington State location in November, its 12th location. Voodoo Doughnut, which has accrued flocks of tourists at its Old Town location since 2003, went on a large-scale expansion push when CEO Chris Schultz joined the company four years ago; Schultz told the Columbian that he’s been eyeing a Vancouver location since his arrival. The company is chipping away at the opening while the company’s union, which it does not recognize, has been consistently protesting working conditions at the original Old Town location." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

Cute shop, Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service, the guy and lady at the counter were so helpful, was looking for something fun to gift and they recommended the “adult” donut. Had a great laugh with the outcome. Donuts were yummy too.

Always a stop when in an area that has voodoo. Quality, taste is always consistent store to store. Donuts are fun names, and YUMMY! Store always clean, staff always helpful and friendly.

Google
LOVE their cannoli !!!! Perfect cream that is not too sweet. Also my fav is “The Dirty Bastard”. Love the peanut butter sizzle on top of Oreo cookie crumbs on top of chocolate ! A gotta stop by when ever we drive thru Oregon. Great having a spot off the freeway.

Google
Torn experience. Love its open later (we stopped in around 8pm). Same reliable selection and easy parking. We ordered half a dozen and they forgot my favorite (maple bar) so we drove all the way home with 5 of our 6 paid for donuts. The captain crunch donut my daughter ordered was crazy stale. The old fashioned was good and the gingerbread doll gave at least a bit of the maple feel with more spice. For the higher prices of donuts, would expect to have fresh and correct orders.

Google
Not what you’d expect for the atmosphere or location. Needs some decoration to scream VooDoo! Make me want to stop in & eat some donuts! Looks to clean/empty/supermarket… Also I read a shirt today that said “it’s worth the weight” if it’s so worth the weight why don’t your shirts & jackets ever come in plus sizes to support your statement lol! I mean your stuff would probably sell more frequently if you had the right sizes & these days almost everyone sizes up for comfort 🤷🏼‍♀️

Voodoo Doughnut is a must visit for any doughnut lover. The variety and creativity in their selection is incredible, with fun, quirky, designs and unique flavors that stand out from typical options. From classics like glazed and maple bars to wild creations topped with cereal or bacon, there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is as eclectic as the doughnuts themselves, with vibrant decor and fun vibe that makes the experience memorable. The staff was friendly and efficient, even with the line moving quickly. Whether you are carving something sweet or looking for an unique adventure, Voodoo Doughnut delivers every time.

Google
First time to any Voodoo Doughnut. Perhaps its just this location, but we were not impressed with the donuts when we got home. We bought a good variety to test these guys out. All of them tasted like the oil they were fried in was way too old. We could taste the staleness of the oil. It may just be our preference, but these donuts were all much denser and less airy and fluffy. Maybe they aren't proofing their dough long enough. These were quite dense... We did love the variety of flavors/option and the staff was very friendly. However, next time we crave a donut, we probably won't consider Voodoo.

Google
During my most recent visit to Vancouver Mall, I made a stop at the Vancouver Voodoo Donuts location, the staff was friendly, greeted my group as we entered, they had all the donuts in stock and were delicious, our favorite was the Voodoo Doll filled with Jelly.

Yelp
I came in yesterday in search for some happy that I was missing out on during a rough mother's day, Ally turned my day around in a way I didn't know was possible by walking into a donut shop. She took the time to hear about my day and took it upon herself to turn it around. She ensured I got the freshest of my childhood favorite, an Apple Fritter. She is the reason I will be back.

Yelp
Adventuring to the Voodoo Doughnut in Vancouver, Washington State (first location in the state, opened in 2022), on Thursday 19 October 2023, I made it while it was the only Voodoo Doughnut location in the state. Interested in trying something that sounded good, I looked over the full menu on their website and found one I was interested in - the Memphis Mafia. Arriving in the morning on Thursday, there were a few other people in the restaurant - a pink building fully in the voodoo theme. Standing in line, I looked at the donuts on the turning display carousels and noticed that some of them were a little smaller. I did not spot the Memphis Mafia so far as I could tell, however I had not seen the donut in person before. Stepping up and placing my order, yes, they did have the Memphis Mafia. So I ordered one, which with tax and pre-tip was $5.50. Initially I thought that was a lot, then I saw the size of the donut - it was about 2 to 3 times the size I thought it would be. Dining in the restaurant, I ate the Memphis Mafia in one go. It was a very decadent donut that I would describe as a cinnamon banana fritter (like an apple fritter, but with banana) topped with peanut butter/peanut and chocolate fixings. It was a dense fritter and the banana was not overly sweet. While it was larger than I thought it would be, I would truly call it a perfect donut, though a little different than the raised/ring/bar donuts I am used to. The workers and other patrons were friendly.

Yelp
We had no intention of stopping for donuts until we saw the bright & familiar pink rooftop of Voodoo Doughnuts. If you're able to drive past without being tempted to stop for a donut or two, you've got impressive willpower. This particular location is great - very clean, plenty of seating, two big rotating displays, and great customer service. We purchased a mixture of the seasonal specialty flavors (orange cranberry fritter, chocolate peppermint cake) and the classics (The Homer, Marshall Mathers, Maple Bacon, and Voodoo). All of them were fantastic! They tasted freshly made despite us visiting in the late afternoon.

Robert F.

Yelp
I love Voodoo Doughnut ! The original gourmet doughnut shop (there's a lot of people trying to copy them now). I visited the original Voodoo in Portland probably fifteen years ago, and I've also been to the one in Denver. So we saw this one here and had to visit! It's fairly new (open a little over a year?) and as we entered we saw the rotating display case and took our time deciding what to get as the different donuts passed our eyes multiple times. We settled on the chuckles and it was fresh and delicious! The store was very clean, bright and pink on the inside with multiple glass chandeliers. The woman who was making doughnuts came out to help us and she was nice and friendly. I'll always stop for a doughnut when I see one.

Michelle R.

Yelp
We were so excited to finally try Voodoo Doughnuts ! It was our first stop on our vacation. They are located right across the street from the mall . Easy to get in & out of . The store is cool inside . They have so many options & unique flavors to choose from . We got the maple- bacon doughnut this was really good & pretty big . The maple is sweet but not too sweet . We got the strawberry go tart . This was a raised doughnut filled with strawberry filling & white frosting with sprinkles . Delicious ! We also got a chocolate cake coconut . Delicious! We got a chocolate raised & raspberry filled . The worker gave us a apple cider pie doughnut to try that was amazing. All the doughnuts are so fresh ! We loved it here !

Yelp
Made an order online for pickup the evening before-though it was "not in the system". Hmm odd when we had paid for it already but the guy helped get everything we wanted so not bad. Appeared the place had a tough time when it got busy-only three people working in there at the time it seemed. Donuts are really good not too sweet donut though icing is a little sweet do just a heads up. Ambiance is something out of Alice in Wonderland.

Katie N.

Yelp
Decided to stop in to see what their hype was all about. Yes, they have fun off the wall flavors. However, I wasn't as impressed as I was by other donut shops in the area. Coffee was bland. Service was ok. We went later in the morning on a weekday so there was not a large crowd.

Kai C.

Yelp
Officially now our go-to Voodoo Dougnuts, much preferred over navigating to either of the locations in Portland. Now we just stop here on our way to or from Portland. It's right by the mall. There are beacoup other places to get a meal, then come here for dessert and to take home. It has parking. They have merch. Service is always with a smile. It gets crowded, sure, but nothing like the ones in Portland. It has all the same doughnuts, including the same vegan options. We got a collection of 3 vegan and 3 non vegan. I keep falling for the PB&J one, not remembering that it's really peanut butter on top, not "icing," per se - so I don't love it but it gets me every dang time lol. Anything with chocolate icing is my preference here.

Yelp
Finally dropped in at the 'newer' Vancouver location. Love the big pink building...it can't be missed! It's beautiful at night too, with the pink neon lights. They have a decent sized parking lot available, and the inside of this location is super roomy compared to the other 2 locations I've been to in the Portland area. They conveniently have two large menus posted on both sides of the entrance doors with pictures of the donuts. These are great to have when there are long lines. I was greeted as I walked up to the counter to order. There are rotating donut displays at both cash registers, making it easier to pick which donuts you want. I ended up ordering the voodoo doll ($4) since I have never tried this one before. It's a chocolate frosted donut with raspberry jam filling. It's rather large as well... about the size of two Bavarian cream donuts. The donut was super yummy until about halfway through. The bottom half had the delicious raspberry jam filling, but the top had none, making it a bit dry. It would be nice if the filling was distributed throughout the donut, not just half. Overall, it was still yummy and satisfied a craving. It was a great first-time experience at this location. Came on a Saturday after lunch, and it wasn't busy at all. I'm so happy there wasn't a line! Will be back to try another flavor soon.

Yelp
Stopping through early morning. Had a 12oz black coffee and a donut (old dirty bastard). Loved the coffee and donut. Pretty accessible right off highway in the Vancouver Mall area. Interesting decor, tables have newspaper articles about celebrities who've died over the years. First time voodoo donut eater.

Peter P.

Yelp
It seems like voodoo is mainstream now, I see them everywhere. Stopped by here cause I know its that good old reliable spot for donuts. Not the best donut but solid. Got my usual Homer donut (pink frosted with sprinkles) and it hit the spot. Just like how I remember it. So glad now I dont have to go all the was into downtown portland to get one. much more convenient.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
Unique and glorified doughnut shop. What makes this chain (which never was before...they blew up) fun and neat is their cool doughnut combinations and crazy names. The way they're presented look that much more appealing and appetizing. For example, "old dirty bastard", "butterfingering", "voodoo doll", & "grape ape". Check out their menu for descriptions, but the names are already catchy. Seeing them is even more awesome. Most of these doughnuts are raised yeast, however they do have buttermilk and cake donuts. I first tried Voodoo doughnut at their first ever location in downtown Portland when we used to have to wait in line! I was so excited to try it because of the upside down hammer (raised yeast doughnut filled with cream and covered in chocolate) ;) and the captain my captain. I really enjoy their selection and how they taste. It's always soft and fresh. We recently tried the Vancouver location in the early morning hours so it wasn't busy. The doughnuts were fresh and tasty! Sweet for sure. But my favorite out of what we got was seasonal-peppermint crunch (chocolate cake donut, chocolate glaze, and a bunch of crushed candy canes). We also got a voodoo doll, blueberry cake donut, and a dreamweaver which is seasonal also. Try them out!

Yelp
It's been a decade since I had last had a Voodoo donut. How I went this long I don't know. Love that this location is nearby & I don't have to go all the way to Portland. I have my favorites, but wanted to try something new. Went with grape ape, voodoo bubble, voodoo man, bacon maple, mix it up, & my favorite old dirty bastard. Unfortunately with the heat, by the end of the day they were a bit melted. Stretched the donuts out to last 3 days, a bit hard but still good. Servicexwas good. Yummy donuts as usual. Definitely won't be another decade till I'm back.

Eddie O.

Yelp
Pretty huge size donuts, one is enough to get you full. Don't forget milk or coffee to pair with them

Frank B.

Yelp
Asalamalakim "The MAN" has heard my prayers I can now eat VOODOO donuts in Vancouver, WA.... FRANK is hear to explain to you that this is an orgazmic experience of sugar & flour from the gods! THANK YOU VOODOO GODS! Now on with the show. Phenomenal donuts with many options , creatures and shapes & sizes for consumption. Hell, I'm not even a vegan but this Voodoo Master Mind even created Vegan donuts for the health conscience granola folks, can u dig it. So let's talk about THE LINE. Now if your lucky you'll experience no line but expect to wait because it's a right of passage for everyone passing the the pearly gates to order that Pink Box filled love & joy. Keep in mind for you gruesome folks you may be trying to impress for a party theirs even coffin filled with donuts for purchase.  Literally folks it's a wooden coffin with cross filled with wonderful donuts. Franks favorite mouth watering delights are the apple fritters, maple curlers, regular donuts with Jimmy's sprinkled on top, coconut w/white frosting and defiantly the bacon maple bar. Wow! The moment you add bacon to anything it's already a winner wouldn't you agree? Folks there is one last donut for discussion and it's the ROCK STAR of all donuts, it's an actual Voodoo donut itself. It has a face, fangs and if you pierce it's body it will bleed for you. Yes, blood oozing from its corpse for your dining pleasure. Today Jesus died for someone's sins "RIP" but the Voodoo God's even created donut due to the icons passing. I'm sure she will comeback as a zombie now. Do your mouth a favor and buy a dozen. Forget the diet it's worth breaking it for a dozen of the voodoo delights.

Britnee C.

Yelp
I appreciate all the options but at the end of the day it's just a regular donut with a great marketing team.

Melanie E.

Yelp
I would of passed by this place if it wasn't for the big pink building. I am not much of a donut fan but these were the bomb! Their donuts are made of yeast (they also have vegan donuts) which makes them fluffy and light. I had the Portland Cream topped with chocolate and filled with Bavarian cream. The chocolate topping & cream filling weren't too sweet. It was delish. If you can't decide, check out the rotating display case. It will get you salivating. They make them fresh as you can see them making them through the window. There's seating inside or takeout. Donuts are a great alternative to birthday cakes or bring a treat to the office. They are located across the street from Macy's at Vancouver Mall.

Nathan S.

Yelp
Best Doughnuts that I have tried so far on my food quest for the best food establishments. So Ono (Delicious)

Stephen K.

Yelp
The Vancouver location of Voodoo Doughnut is by far the nicest of all of their four locations I've visited. It is big, bright, colorful, well-lit, and doesn't feel like a typical Voodoo location, which some may find disappointing, but I'm fine with it. I went on the day of their grand opening, and waited in line for approximately 40 minutes to get my doughnuts. Most of this was wasn't because the employees were slow or too few in number, most of the customers ahead of me seemed to be ordering enough doughnuts to feed an army (several customers were walking away with two, three, four or more full boxes). Voodoo's doughnuts are generally HUGE, and as I've said before, the plain "raised, glazed" doughnut is what I use as an acid test for any doughnut purveyor. Voodoo is hands-down the best I've had! The complexity of flavor is deep, and Voodoo's doughnuts do not taste like they were made from a bag of vendor-supplied doughnut mix like many, if not most, donut shops use. All of the doughnuts I ordered were outstanding, a particular standout being the blueberry cake variety. The only reason for four stars instead of five were a couple of the employees touching and adjusting their face masks with their gloved hands, and then grabbing donuts with those same gloves. Most at least grabbed tissue to then grab the doughnuts, or put on a fresh pair, but better attention to health and safety practices is needed.

Ashley V.

Yelp
When in Portland or Vancouver Voodoo Doughnut is a must! First time stopping in and it did not disappoint. Cute theme and delicious donuts. We tried a few different kinds but my favorite was the voodoo doll. There's also options for those who are vegan or gluten free. Will come back next time I visit the area!

Malika U.

Yelp
First time in the Vancouver location and it was squeaky clean! Everything was so nice and neat and organized. There was no line when we walked in, and none of the 3 workers even greeted us. Not a "hi", "hello" or "welcome in". We ordered 3 donuts and left. 1 of the donuts was a special. It was their banana cream pie donut. It had a nice and creamy center filling.

Chrs G.

Yelp
Quality products, the best deals are their pre-set dozen, but you can only swap out two doughnuts you don't want. The location could use more care to cleanliness however.

Andy T.

Yelp
The doughnuts are kinda average but I can say they are creative, you're more paying for the name and the experience but overall the stores are usually clean and easy to order and get

Wendell R.

Yelp
Let's begin by saying if you're not up for something really sweet this is not your spot. Ok having said that I ordered a maple bacon bar which was excellent. The donut itself was light and fluffy just like you'd like a maple bar. The maple flavor was spot on but as I said a bit sweet for my taste. The bacon was slightly crispy which was perfect. Every bite came with a piece of bacon, instead of biting the bacon and it pulling off the donut. Definitely worth a try for maple bar lovers. I can't review the Carmel Macchiato donut yet because I'm still on a sugar high. I have to wait until I come down. Check back later for my review on that.

Kylie P.

Yelp
Terrible service and always late and makes me wait and my father did work for the owner and the owner was very and extremely disrespectful.

Alden C.

Yelp
As time has gone on and I've had Voodoo Doughnuts on many occasions now I feel like the doughnuts I enjoy most are the more simple ones. Yes, I've had the jelly filled voodoo doll doughnut with a piece of a pretzel stuck in it's chest. I've had a few of the ones with the cereal on top too. I'm not sure if it's safe to say I've tried them all from the menu but I've had many of them. In the end I like the more simple cake doughnuts the best. I don't normally go for powdered sugar doughnuts but I really do enjoy Voodoo's version of it. I also got something in the past called the Mexican Hot Chocolate I believe but that precise one may be discontinued or I'm misremembering. I got something pretty close if not the same thing. The Ring of Fire cake doughnut was my other selection at the Vancouver location. This was a chocolate cake doughnut with cinnamon and cayenne pepper featured on it. Very good doughnut with just a nice little kick! I didn't eat the pepper that came with it. I wasn't in the mood to suffer. lol! A pleasant surprise is that Voodoo Doughnuts takes credit and debit cards and is no longer cash only. It's been a while since I've been to a Voodoo Doughnuts but I still enjoy them!

Cindy A.

Yelp
Sometimes there's a line. Sometimes there isn't. All you need to know is that at the end of your wait lies a pretty unique selection of donuts!! If you happen to choose the Memphis Madness, the wait will ALWAYS be worth it!! The crunchy sweet goodness on the outside paired w bananas, peanut butter chips and ripples?? Fuggeddaboutit!! It's a HUGE banana (yesss!!!) fritter, and I'd split w a friend or a hungry teenager. It's ok to wait. We are so obsessed with speed, convenience and efficiency that we're not only inviting a lot more disposable crap into our oceans (Voodoo uses a sweet pink cardboard box) but we're losing the art of the wait... standing in line w people in your community CAN be an enriching experience. You are all united by your love of donuts, and you and your peeps will have plenty to talk about while keeping it "weird" in Portland, or wherever you are. We always make a point of grabbing a Voodoo donut in Portland and are never disappointed with donuts or the very kind staff.

Michael S.

Yelp
Hooray! Hip hip hooray! I can further lower my carbon footprint!! Because there is a new bright pink Voodoo Doughnut in Vancouver, Washington, well, now, I won't "have to" drive across the bridge to Portland for some devilishly decadent 'doo-nuts! The line was only 25 minutes long opening week, but even better was that the doughnuts seemed fresher, softer, and doughier than usual. Keep it up Vancouver Voodoo cause this donut daddy is a fan! Sure, Voodoo Doughnuts are still sweeter than Vanellope from Wreck It Ralph and they WILL totally wreck your new year's resolutions (except that carbon footprint one) because each donut not only causes a stunning sugar rush, but tastes like type-2 diabeeeetus frosted with obesity. Ya, I'm still a fan!

Angie J.

Yelp
I love this donuts, my absolute favorite is definitely the maple bar with bacon. This location is very clean and cute. The staff is nice & it is all around just yummy.

Ally C.

Yelp
Great location! Staff was helpful with providing suggestions as there are so many donuts to choose from. I really love the dough/cake part of the donut, it's unlike any other donut i've had before. It has the perfect texture and flavour. The flavours are all super fun and unique, names also deserve an honourable mention, haha! A personal favourite of mine is the Butterfingering! Dirt is also a great option. Will be returning :)

Karl A.

Yelp
Pretty good donuts, but I think they fell a little short of all the hype It was pretty busy when we swung in, but the line moved fast. We tried a mix of donuts. The Portland crème was good. The donuts tasted fresh and there was no lack of filling! The maple crème was robust, one donut and I was done! The shop has a great vibe, very fun. I'm glad we checked it out.

Sonja M.

Yelp
Super yummy donuts, so glad they came into Vancouver! Voodoo has some of the best donuts I've ever had. My family's favorites include the raised glazed(simple and classic but delicious), bacon maple bars and maple blazer blunt. Ordering online was quick and easy! Even though they're busy, they're very fast. If you have to wait a while, you'll realize the wait was worth it! Good things come in pink boxes.

Sarah I.

Yelp
This is the better of the Voodoo Donuts that I've visited. The service was great. They were really funny and made my morning! The donuts are quite fun and delicious as well. I like to try the seasonal donuts but there are so many great choices!

Bruce E.

Yelp
Best donuts PERIOD! My friend and I go to a lot of donut places around Portland Vancouver and Voodoo has the best quality ingredients and variety!!!

Edwin Christine A.

Yelp
Who doesn't like donuts?! This place is packed with so many different kinds of doughnuts you can literally choose a variety! The merch was very, very pricey which I didn't like but, I did buy anyways as a souvenir.

Maria D.

Yelp
I love the selection of donuts. I especially love the cannoli's. I always get friendly service when I'm there. And ordering online is simple and easy to use. The one in Vancouver is spacious. So you don't feel too crowded when you are waiting in line. If you like variety in selection, this is the place to go to.

Landon A.

Yelp
Donuts are very mediocre. The frosting is too sweet the bread is nice and soft but everything else is such an overkill. It all tastes pretty similar I definitely wouldn't come back here again. Way too much sugar to the points it's sickening to the appetite. don't get me wrong I love sugar but this is too much and tastes too artificial a Krispy Kreme tastes better.

Jennifer P.

Yelp
So glad there is a Voodoo in Vancouver now! Great location and building. Friendly staff. Delicious doughnuts! I recommend: - the homer - blueberry cake - maple bacon bar - mango tango - voodoo doll - maple blazer blunt - diablos rex - buttermilk bar - apple fritter

Emily S.

Yelp
If you want voodoo, come here instead of going into downtown Portland. No lines, fresher donuts and it's super safe!

Amira B.

Yelp
Who doesn't love a good donut? I've been here long enough that voodoo is nothing special anymore, but when friends and family come to visit they always want to check it out. That's fine, I'll take some donuts! We happened to pass by the Portland location and saw the huge lines... it's a pass for me. Luckily we knew the Vancouver location had opened and we were the only ones in the place! It's huge and beautifully decorated inside. There was someone at the cashier ready to help us. We were in and out in 4 minutes! The donuts where as great as they always were. My favorite is always the mango tango, but the homer is a close second!

Dani G.

Yelp
FINALLY!! Welcome to Vancouver Voodoo. I am overwhelmed with how well this location is operating. We went the day after the opening and you would think they have been open for months. The doughnuts were fresher, fluffier, and yummier than any Voodoo I have ever had. The staff was quick and professional. This will be dangerous for any person hoping to stick to their diet this year!

Mike L.

Yelp
Great interesting doughnuts at a fair price. The line is typically long but I order online and never have to wait. Portland land mark that is expanding.

Anthony N.

Yelp
Fresh and yummy Would eat it again Friendly staffs and good customer service Fantastic

Jewlie B.

Yelp
The moment I walked into the door I was greeted, I know a lot of people don't like to be asked about their day but I was asked by a super laid-back friendly and attentive employee. He didn't make me feel rushed or anything he was the one who asked me if I was helped, he seems like a multitasker, I asked him about the donuts which ones were vegan and which ones weren't. he explained everything correctly. I got my donuts and I asked about a keychain that they had up front which was super cute for my keys he told me the price and I had to buy it! so I got my box and because I was trying to get home fast. I forgot my key chain obvi, while I was in reverse he ran outside and he knocked on my car window and he told me "oh my gosh you forgot your keychain I just wanted to bring it over here I'm glad that I caught you before you left" it's the small things that count you know? The donuts were amazing soft fully cooked sweet, let's just say it was a cherry on top of my night By the way I think his name was cayvon it was February 21, 2022 around 9:50 pm

Sarah S.

Yelp
We went right when they opened, and on National Doughbut Day no less! We enjoyed their Maple Bacon bar, their Mango Tango and their "Homer"! Good things do come in pink boxes indeed. It was so fun to see all their doughnuts on display as well. Honestly, there are no wrong choices, and it is fun to see all the doughnuts revolving in the big glass cases.

Andy M.

Yelp
I love the service on this side with 3 people helping at counter. The downtown Portland shop would always have a line out the door. They wouldn't if there was more then one server at the counter helping customers. Nice facility and good vibe from employees at this shop.

Dyoni A.

Yelp
We came from out of state. There was a line but it moved fairly quickly. They have a variety of very unique doughnuts. There was 5 of us so a fairly large order two doughnuts each, a mug & other merchandise. Staff was funny & threw a couple of free doughnuts in our box. The kids enjoyed every bite & we all had good laughs with the different doughnut options.

Jerry W.

Yelp
Fun to try if you're a tourist but if you actually want good donuts - this is the last place I'd go. I've tried them twice and they were horrible both times. Don't waste your time or money.

Karen S.

Yelp
Fantastic doughnuts. I love the original flavors and designs and they are huge. You can easily split one

Pat T.

Yelp
Heard about the donuts for a few years, so when I had the opportunity to visit Portland for pleasure one of my 1st stops was Voodoo Donuts. Everything was great, location and the shop it self. I spent $30, donuts were fun and yummy looking. As soon as we got back into our car we dived into the box of donuts, every donut tasted the same, dry and maybe they never clean their kitchen or oil. They were awful tasting. I had high hopes for the Homer but it was not to be, 2 boxes of half eaten donuts were left in our hotel room. I've eaten donuts from Cali to Washington and the best so far is the Sisters Bakery in Oregon.
