"At first blush Vowburger feels like any meaty burger stand around LA, thanks to its simplistic design and fast casual appeal. But that’s before Fairfax crowds get ahold of the meatless menu, with its fried faux chicken sandwiches and cheese California-style meatless burgers." - Farley Elliott

"Fairfax’s new-ish VOWburger is a lesson in simplicity. The plant-based shop just north of the main drag turns out some of the more reliable non-meat burgers in town, and don’t forget to add on one of their fried ‘chicken’ sandwiches, too." - Eater Staff

I really appreciate that people is looking to make plant based food more accesible for non-vegans. Both chicken burgers were super tasty, crunchy and came with great sauces. But the fries and the shake have space for improvement. The excessive plastic containers are not super environmentally friendly. Service is good but the location is kinda old. Overall good.

I loved that this place is 100% plant-based, but it wasn't the best vegan food I've ever had. It was satisfying and good though! The breakfast sandwich was good, and the Nashville chicken sandwich was pretty good, too. The chocolate shake resembled a Wendy's frosty and was difficult to drink through the straw because it was so thick...super yummy! The shoe string fries were legit 👌🏽 😋

Super crunchy vegan sandwich! I got mine Nashville style for a little more umph and enjoyed it. Their vegan chickn was done well and had some slaw and pickles between the buns. I got the green sauce and it complemented it nicely. The fries were classic and thin and seasoned well too. Overall, a good meal to have especially for it being vegan! I also opted for their VOWshake and got strawberry. It was topped with whipped cream and sprinkles and looked delish! It was nice and creamy with a good amount of strawberry flavor that was refreshing for a hot day. Service was super friendly too! Oh, and they also donate to causes that fight hunger. Tasty vegan food and a good cause, what's not to love about that?

Headed over to Fairfax and found some parking on the street. Even for a Wednesday afternoon, the area was quite crowded! Walked into VOWBurger and waited in the queue. The interior was nice, with lots of cute signage and informative posters. They had a few seats inside, as well as outside. Their menu consisted of burgers, breakfast foods, sides and some vegan milkshakes! Things are a bit on the pricy side for a burger or sandwich, but that may be due to the location. I ordered the VOWchickn with fries. Took my photos and bit into the sandwich! I was impressed by the taste, I felt that for a vegan sandwich they did a very good job with the flavors. Loved the aioli sauce and the chickn patty was very flavorful. A bit too breaded in my opinion, but it did give it a nice crispy texture. The fries were really yummy! I love shoestring fries, so they went perfectly with my meal. Great place to go for those trying to go Vegan, eat less animals or do a little to save the planet!

Vow is a wow with killer service and incredible eats! This hundred percent PB (plantbased) sandwich and burger spot offers good vibes from 8AM to 9PM in the thick of Fairfax, Los Angeles, CA. The VowChickn Sandwich (Nashville style) is out of this world! The have a solid but simple menu so you're not overwhelmed and help you pick the best choices. Indoor and Outdoor seating are available.

Service was fine and people were nice. Food was very subpar especially being roughly $13+ each burger. Tried out the VowBurger and VowChicken Burger along with the VowStyle Fries. Burger was okay but cheese was a solid piece, fries itsself were okay but the onions tasted strange and cheese looked coagulated. The VowChicken seemed to be missing sauce? Wasn’t sure as it scantly had mayo on it. The ‘chicken’ had a cardboard flavor. For spending $35+ I was hoping it to be better.

First visit I tried the chicken burger and style fries combo paid about $20 for everything (not worth it) the flavor is off and the location looks dirty on top of that the skinny guy with glasses is rude and unprofessional not polite or welcoming (tried this place twice same experience both times I will not go back or recommend this place 0 stars Go eat vegan pizza instead at The Original Pizza Presto in Pico Rivera

Guys. When I say the best burger I’ve ever had that doesn’t even give it justice. The burger was so tasty, so juicy, and let me just tell you I left feeling so good and so satisfied! Go now, trust me you won’t regret it. Get the fries too!!! Perfect crunch to them.
