London’s New Restaurant Openings

"The scandi Pinterest board walked so that Voyage With Adam Simmonds could run. This Scandinavian-influenced restaurant is opening in The Megaro Hotel in King’s Cross. There is moss. There are tweezers. Fermented apples are used as a garnish. And the plates look like white leaves." - team infatuation

Truly exceptional dining experience. We had the 5-course tasting menu with the cheese supplement, and every dish delivered. The flavours were refreshing, unique and well balanced. I really loved the celeriac in particular. We left feeling the right level of full. The service was amazing - in fact the staff were some of the nicest staff I have ever encountered in a restaurant. They were knowledgeable, patient and not pushy at all. The decor was modern and beautiful and seating was comfortable.

Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The service from the staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, professional, and accommodating, which made the evening lovely. We opted for the tasting menu, and every course was exquisite. They truly go above and beyond to make your dining experience memorable. At the end of the meal, they took the time to converse with us and take a memory home, which was a thoughtful gesture to end the evening. I would highly recommend.

The flavours and the quality is there and the service and setting is exceptional, however the dishes feel incomplete, even with an introductory offer, we felt the tasting menu was not filling or satisfying due to the meagre portions. Some small additions such as providing a spoonful of mash and greens with the lamb, or a piece of bread or cracker with the lobster course could have made a lot of difference. It’s slightly surprising that we left a little hungry from this dinner, most tasting menus we feel full after a rich and indulgent meal. I’d recommend as a very light tasting menu in the summer months, but I would advise improvement.

Wow!!! Sit by the chef’s bar and watch as the skilled chefs finish and plate your food, all for the same price as a table. Seasonal food served in a more natural, delicately plated dish which might challenge those taste buds, but that’s what we want in a taster menu, pushing us out of our comfort zones and ‘go to food’ . The oyster, cut three ways and served with other complimentary ingredients, was a light starter with flavours of the sea. This was followed by lobster, clam & squid, which l thought was a fine pasta, and followed the delicate sea voyage onto the land. I could go on and on here! Sitting by the bar allows interaction with the chefs, smelling ingredients and getting to understand them at work. It was a pleasure to see and meet Adam Simmons himself, who was plating and checking dishes prior to service. BOOK IT and easy to find!!!!

Truly impressed by the warmth and attentiveness of the service, an absolute hidden gem in London’s dining scene. I was given a personal farewell, complete with Japanese tea samples and our version of the original menu as a keepsake. The food was exceptional, with a seasonal menu that makes every visit unique and worth repeating. One of the best restaurants I’ve ever experienced, highly recommended!

Unforgettable Culinary Journey at Voyage. My recent dining experience at Voyage with Adam Simmonds was a true culinary journey. The 7-course tasting menu was a delight from start to finish, showcasing Chef Simmonds' creativity and skill. Two dishes, in particular, stood out. The Oyster with White Asparagus, Apple, and Sorrel was an exquisite balance of flavours and textures. The freshness of the oyster was perfectly complemented by the crispness of the asparagus and the bright acidity of the apple and sorrel. It was a light, refreshing, and truly memorable start. The Lobster with Cockles, Sea Urchin, and Kelp Broth was another highlight. The lobster was cooked to perfection, and the richness of the sea urchin was beautifully balanced by the delicate sweetness of the cockles and the umami depth of the kelp broth. This dish was a celebration of the sea, expertly crafted. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was both elegant and relaxed. Voyage offers a truly special dining experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for innovative and delicious cuisine.

I am still reeling from the incredible dining experience my group of 10 and I had at Voyage. From the moment we walked in, General Manager Julie went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. She spent over two weeks perfecting a customized menu that catered to our diverse dietary requirements and budget, ensuring that every detail was meticulously taken care of. The evening began with a visit to the adjacent bar, where we indulged in some of the most innovative and delicious cocktails I've ever had the pleasure of trying. Julie's recommendation was spot on, and it set the tone for an unforgettable night. As we made our way to the restaurant, we were struck by the stunning atmosphere, which rivaled the sets of a Netflix cooking show. But it was the culinary journey that followed that truly left us awestruck. Lead Chef Adam Simmonds, who was warm and welcoming, guided us through a breathtaking 7-course "voyage" that will forever be etched in our memories. Each dish was a masterclass in flavor, technique, and presentation. The scallop and Wagyu beef tartare amuse-bouche was a sublime start, followed by a succulent lobster appetizer that melted in our mouths. The sweet bread and venison main courses were cooked to perfection, and the desserts were a sweet finale to an already unforgettable meal. To say that this was one of the best meals of our lives is an understatement. We have never experienced anything like it. The attention to detail, the creativity, and the sheer passion that went into crafting each dish were evident in every bite. In short, Voyage has changed our lives. It has raised the bar for fine dining and has left us with a newfound appreciation for the art of culinary storytelling. If you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, look no further than Voyage. Julie, Adam, and the entire team will treat you to a journey that will leave you in awe.

Amazing fine dining experience, would recommend sitting by the counter. The chef and whole crew are super friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. The sweetbread and dessert are one of the best I’ve had and I’m still thinking about it!
