Google
Tucked away in a hallway next to the subway stairwell in 110 Williams, this little coffee shop gets the job done well and quickly. Friendly staff and speedy service. My flat white wasn’t a stand out but it’s miles better than the Starbucks and Dunkin’ on the same block.

Google
If you’re staying in New York and you’re after good coffee then search no further but visit this place. Avocado toasts were freshly made in front of us too. The place is a bit hard to find as you have to go underground and figure out where it is but once you get there you won’t be disappointed. Pricing was reasonable and service was fantastic.

Google
In the top 2 places in Manhattan (Watchhouse is the other). Their attention to detail with the bean selection and perfect milkwork is great. The staff were very welcoming as well, just a great place.

Google
Super beautiful café that is kind of a hidden gem. The espresso is amazing and the staff is extremely kind. I loved the egg avocado toast. Will definitely be back 🤞🏽

Google
I had the pleasure of trying their special latte, the Smoky Star Dreamsicle, and it was hands down one of the best lattes I’ve ever had! The unique smoky flavor paired with that creamy citrus twist was just fantastic. Plus, the staff was amazing – friendly, attentive, and really made the whole experience special. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Google
It's a bit hard to find this place, But Voyager was my favorite coffee place during my NY trip. Well balanced, great fruity notes!!

Google
What a great find! The service is excellent, the coffee is great and the food options are just perfect. Tasty, nutritious and reasonably priced. I'll hopefully be back, very soon. My new favorite breakfast option in NYC. If you're trying to find it, note that it's just down the stairs, off the main street. Well worth a visit.

Google
The two owners are so nice and loving, everything is made by themselves and fresh. the café and the yogurt bowl are the best I ever had! If I lived in NY I would always come here. absolute insider tip! Best food and café in NYC! 10/5⭐️

Yelp
If I could give 10 stars, I would. Visiting the FIDI from CA, and found this place for GOOD coffee. Stopped in and ordered 2 drinks with my wife. The next day, when we came back (because we loved it so much), the gentleman making the coffee (I think the owner?). Remembered our drink orders from the previous day! This guy takes coffee seriously, and made our drinks with such care. I'm sad we live on the other side of the country from this spot. Do not skip this place if you like coffee!

Yelp
This is a hidden gem. Literally! At the basement of 110 William St building by the exit of the subway on John St. (Currently under construction) you will find this cute little cafe. My coworkers have bragged about how good their coffee was. I came to try the burrata grape toast and it was absolutely delicious. With a layer of pesto sauce, nice chuck of burrata cheese and marinated pickled grapes in a thick toasted piece of bread. Sound weird but taste amazing. Love the service. Friendly, courteous and fast.

Yelp
Industrial coffee shop in the metro downstairs. Friendly place with regulars. Has some bar seating and outlets for WFH. Also a tiny side nook for lounging

Donna M.

Yelp
Was searching for coffee in the area online and decided to try this coffee shop because of the reviews. So the address says 110 William St. which is a corporate office building... this coffee shop is underground. There are two ways to get to it either go into the office building and on the right hand side you will see a staircase to the subway. The coffee shop is at the bottom. The other option is to access through the subway and exit through the William St exit. After finally managing to find the coffee shop, I was greeted by a very friendly barista. He was very helpful in explaining the different latte options as well as the source of the coffee. He suggested a Smoky Latte which had hints of an Orange Dreamsicle. It was amazing! The food looked good, but was not hungry. Definitely worth a visit! They have limited seating, but very cool vibes.

Liz B.

Yelp
I definitely got a little lost trying to find this place but it was worth the search! It was a super friendly environment and a really cool interior. I do wish there was a little more seating but they did a lot with the minimal space they had. I really wanted the espresso tonic but it didn't look like they had it on the menu so I ordered my second choice - a cortado. This is the only place in NYC that I've found that provides seltzer water with their cortados and every sip was delicious! I will definitely be making my way back here.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of taking a latte art workshop with William at the coffee shop. Firstly, learned so many cool tips and art tricks. The space is small but very cozy and def great for regulars. Def a hard spot to find if you've never been, but you have to go from the Fulton St 2,3 train subway entrance or thru the office bldg to the basement level. William was excellent and def has a passion for what he does and great knowledge as he is the sourcer, roaster, owner, chef, barista, social media guy...you get it. The class was just over 1.5 hrs and we learned the heart, tulip, and rosetta designs. We tried with him first then on our own. And to top it all off, we were able to drink our own art and his coffee is DELISH! We also tried the espresso tonic which has fresh orange peel and Fevertree tonic with espresso poured over ice. It was perfect! Never had anything like that before. Then we took off with the Dreamsicle latte and it was topped with candied orange dust and black lava salt. Flavored with his homemade syrups. The salt was a perfect finished to the sweeter latte flavor. All in all you need to go there! Do it you won't regret it!

David H.

Yelp
Cool coffee shop hidden in the entrance to the subway. Very friendly people, nice little space, the espresso was done very well, love that it comes with a little glass of seltzer water as well.

Samantha D.

Yelp
Tucked away underground near one of the train stations, Voyager Espresso provides coffee for the commuters and working people of FiDi. Didn't expect the cafe to be so hidden. The staff are nice, and it wasn't busy when I came in the morning. Was in and out of there with a great cup of caffeine quickly.

Nicole K.

Yelp
It's kind of hidden cause you'll need to go into a subway stop to find it. It's pretty small but their coffee is good. A great place to stop by while on the way to 2/3 or A/C lines.

Damaris B.

Yelp
Best coffee in the the area! I highly recommend this place. The owner and the barista were very welcoming. What a great little gem tucked away by the train station. I will be definitely be back tomorrow!

Adam B.

Yelp
Such a fancy little coffee shop to be hidden away in a subway station. Taking an office break to have your coffee and snack here, not to-go, is totally worth it since the presentation is a real treat. Plus it all tastes great. Iced Latte: I felt like I was running an experiment with Mr. Wizard. The espresso came in a little glass bottle with a little cork. The sweetened milk and ice in a huge beaker. And some mineral water in a double paned glass on the side. It's DIY in the sense that you pour in the espresso and mix it all together. Not heavily involved, but the ritual of it all feels cool. Plus tastes very refreshing. Burrata Grape Toast: Who needs Avocado Toast or Almond Butter Toast when you can have a massive amount of mushy burrata cheese on toast? The generous amount of cheese alone would be enough for me, but the other stuff actually made for a great pairing. There was some kale pesto which had a nice herbal contrast and thankfully tasted more like pesto than like kale. The grapes were unlike any grapes I've ever had. They were sliced thin and tasted quick pickled so their inherent sweetness was mellowed with a delicious vinegary tone. Such a great combination of flavors.

Michael R.

Yelp
Man what a great experience here. Spoke with the dude behind the counter for like 20 min about Aeropress, Flair 58, grind size, water temp, bean roasting and processing, you name it. I apologized for talking his ear off and he told me not to worry, he loves to discuss the nuances of coffee. True passion. A coffee shop for coffee heads - for the r/espresso folks on Reddit. For the Aeromatic app users. BUT was so nice to everyone who came in and while we talked made a pour over, an iced coffee drink and a plain drip with 4 Splendas for the other folks who walked in. Everyone treated with respect and served fast. I got two espressos, Ethiopian (light roast I think) and house blend (light-medium). Both amazing. Also for a bag of beans to go. Anerobic fermentation. Looking forward to getting into those tomorrow in the AM. Tip top spot, great coffee and quality humans. Will be back.

Yelp
A true hidden gem that blew my expectations out of the water! In typical weekday morning fashion I was looking for a place that had both craft coffee and something to nibble on like avocado toast. My first attempt at finding this place on a map was unsuccessful because I hadn't realized it is actually underground in the Fulton Street station! There are a few pathways to finding it, mainly by accessing the John Street subway entrance, or by going through the revolving doors of the building on William Street, then heading downstairs. A kind security guard helped us navigate when we entered the building and before we knew it we found ourselves in the subway station! Very unexpected and almost secretive, like the coffee version of a speakeasy--they truly did take us on a voyage :') Their menu is pretty compact but I like how they offer a range of menu items like classic espresso and pourover drinks, fresh-made food, pastries, and of course signature espresso drinks (my personal fav). The space inside is quite cramped with one table and a few bar stools; it could seat maybe 8 people total but I think that's apt considering I'm sure most of their clientele are busy commuters. That said, on a Friday mid-morning it wasn't too busy. The employees taking and making our orders were so friendly and struck up conversation with us. Our barista kindly explained to me their signature drinks: Their lavender latte uses a housemade lavender syrup; the Space Oatly is a hazelnut and oat milk coffee; and the cafe miel is a light roast latte with honey. These types of unique concoctions are right up my alley! I opted for the lavender latte which was excellent. It had an incredible layer of crema and the lavender flavor was so good (I've been scarred in the past by coffeeshops that pump half a cup of Torani syrup in one drink). It was maybe a tad too sweet but I certainly need some sweetness so I would request it half sweet next time. My boyfriend who had a regular latte also enjoyed! Our group also got all three toasts to share: the Classic Avocado with a drizzle of olive oil; the Mango Avocado with what I believe is szechaun-style chili oil (I felt the numbing!!); and the Burrata Grape. All three were fantastic. My favorite was the Burrata Grape, which was equally creamy, garlicky, savory, with a tad of sweetness from the marinated grapes--scrumptious! I can't wait to go back and have this again. I was also pleasantly surprised by the relative affordability. The coffees were only around $5-6 and the toasts $7-8 each. The portions of the toasts are quite huge as well. Effectively one whole toast had me really full, so I think sharing one would be sufficient for a light breakfast. Do not sleep on Voyager Coffee just because it's a bit tucked away--it is worth the trek! Delicious food and coffee in a humble environment but with high-quality products. The storefront may seem a little random but the baristas know what they're doing. The best coffee I've tried in NYC so far!

TC H.

Yelp
The espresso is good. Service is awesome, a vey chill place to stay and enjoy my coffee

Rina D.

Yelp
It's been awhile since I felt that an overpriced coffee in NY was worth the money. This place is such a hidden gem; it's underground and so it might be hard to find, but once you find it you'll never forget where it is. The people who run this place are so friendly and nice. The owner(?) who made my coffee asked me about my preferences and he made a special drink for me with honey, and I absolutely loved it! He really knows what to pair with the type of coffee they have and was so good at explaining as well. I came here to do some work cuz I saw that they offered free wifi, which worked extremely well, and I loved hearing other customers coming in and conversing with the staff here; seems like they are really good at building and maintaining relationships with the people who know this hidden gem! Loved the aesthetics and everything, just wish there was a bathroom nearby (will have to go out and go to a nearby store or restaurant). Will definitely tell my friends about this place and come back to try their other drinks (:

Shonna C.

Yelp
Perfect and simple avocado toast. Delicious, expertly roasted coffee. Kind service. A great grab & go experience!

Wesley K.

Yelp
Amazing! I saw the staff (I believe they are the owners?) interacting with customers in such a soulful way. The entire cafe is space themed so very interesting. The way it is tucked into the subway station makes it so unique. I already grabbed iced coffee elsewhere, but would have happily gotten it here if I had known. I got the rhubarb scone ($4 + tax). It was great and I had such a good time here.

Jenny Z.

Yelp
hidden gem coffee shop in the subway station that's served delicious, warm, hearty lattes. We opted for the almond milk latte and coconut milk latte, both served with a side of sparkling water. The coffee itself is definitely better than your standard latte and it was overall a really nice and friendly atmosphere!

Joshua S.

Yelp
The Owner was very helpful when I was lost looking for the place. It's in the subway haha, the coffee is precise, freshly roasted and a tiny corner that's just about the coffee. 10/10

Christy N.

Yelp
Located underground in the subway station - this coffee shop is an absolute hidden gem! Cute, small shop with seating, outlets, and wifi. The owners were very friendly and lovely to chat with as well. I got the iced lavender latte and matcha latte which was perfect for me. Not too sweet and well blended (not powdery). I have also tried their regular latte (iced and hot) and enjoyed those. I will be back!

Caroline S.

Yelp
I've lived in the Financial District since 2002 and even though there are many options for coffee, Voyager is by far the best. The barista is extraordinarily talented. His drinks are creative and absolutely delicious. Love the Smoky Star Dreamsicle and the Space Oatly lattes. The food is really good too. They're so nice in that place, they always make you feel at home. And wow, amen to the avocado toast! A++

Kate C.

Yelp
This was Voyager Espresso, in the tunnel to the ACE train in Fidi. I decided to treat myself to a cafe au lait and ham and cheese croissant after working out and it was delicious. The honey in the latte was impeccable and the croissant, toasted, was Chefs Kiss

Jessica B.

Yelp
Been coming here for a bit because of its proximity to my workplace. I love their espresso, I'm a fan of nutty espressos and I feel like that's not commonly found. Also been a fan of their toasts, it's always delicious, tastes fresh, and made with well curated quality flavors! Customer service is always great too, even when the owners are slammed with orders, they make it a point to greet you and are warm each time. So happy to have a spot I love for my work mornings~

Cindy I.

Yelp
This place is open while construction is ongoing outside! The John Street is entrance is closed but you can go through the lobby of 110 Williams Street and take the stairs to the subway entrance. Their Iced Latte is perfect for a hot summer day.

Yan G.

Yelp
Very cozy environment and good light. Food is tasty and coffee is soooo good! I like here and will definitely come back.

Chris D.

Yelp
Lovely cafe, friendly service and great tasting coffee. I haven't tried any food items yet, but the menu looks inviting so I'll give it a shot soon. Will definitely return!

Angela Y.

Yelp
Wow I LOVE this place! Who would've expected such a cool coffee shop in the subway station? Came here to do some work Thursday morning at 8:30 and there're already 6 customers enjoying their coffee. They have a corner area with a table and seats, and several high top seats. I ordered the specialty space oatly with hazelnut syrup and oat milk and it was delicious! Also got a feta spinach tomato croissant pastry that was tasty. Super affordable too for a $6 latte and $4 pastry. I love how everything came on a tray and they were thoughtful enough to provide sparkling water! I tried the cheddar chive biscuit another day for $3.5 but didn't love it as much as it was a bit dry. My favorite thing about this place though is how welcoming and personable the owners are. You could clearly tell that the owners knew all their regular customers and kept up to date on their lives. Will definitely return!

Mari G.

Yelp
Hard to find at first but another review shared the instructions! Basically go into the office building turn right and go down the stairs towards subway. It's a cute little underground coffee shop!!! Really strong coffee, they had an espresso tonic which can be hard to find and it was one of the best I've had. Really nice customer service too. They were very sweet! I'm glad I didn't give up on trying to find it!

Kim M.

Yelp
Just it's a treat like going to a luxury spa in a coffee house ! The lavender coffee is a must and the bureaus grape toast! So good I just can't put in words .

Mynor R.

Yelp
Love this place always very welcoming, and the lavender coffee is great. You can always expect to have a great conversation with the customers.

K B.

Yelp
Amazing underground coffee experience. Love their unique coffee flavors and food selection. The vibe is also great, especially when you decide to dine in. The staff is super friendly and down to earth, check them out!

Mark C.

Yelp
Great spot tucked away in the subway entrance. Had iced coffee and iced oat latte. Quick and delicious

M K.

Yelp
Holy amazing. Stopped here based on yelp recs and future lattes are now forever and ever ruined. The smoked creamsicle (smoked vanilla and orange) latte was such absolute perfection. I will dream of this latte forever. (Also the staff was so lovely and toasts were fantastic.) 10/10+++

Roxanne O.

Yelp
I was able to sample their coffee at a farmers market in Asbury Park, NJ. The first thing I noticed were all the Fellow products they use! We got an almond milk latte and a cold brew with oat milk. The cold brew was a little weak, but the latte was strong and just enough sweet. Service was also friendly, from what it seems like was a family. Even the kid had a good handling on the pour overs!

Rainier Michael B.

Yelp
The first place I stopped during a trip to New York and my only regret is that it set a high bar for overall expectations.

Marcos S.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised. Saw there were a few bad reviews but they were from ages ago and likely different owners. Would have given it a 4.5 be abuse the baristas were so nice, but I went with a 4. Oat milk latte was nicely prepared and I got a waffle. Only thing that would have made the waffle better was getting it freshly made, but that's kind of next level and this is really a grab and go place. Entrance is a bit hard to find, you enter the building and go to the subway entrance then go downstairs.

Chris P.

Yelp
This place rocks! Coffee is superb.. Much better than Starbucks. You must try the mango avocado toast!! Photo here....

Yu P.

Yelp
They roast their own coffee beans. One location. Unassuming. Thought it would be on street level, but had to ask the security guard who directed me to go down a set of stairs and turn left. It's actually located underground along a path to the subway. Opened now for 3 years, it's popular amongst Yelpers. Locals' favorites: Sliced Egg Toast and Avocado Toast ($6/$9.50 for 1 or 2 slices). The slice is thick. I got the Yoghurt-Granola- Mixed Berries for my post workout treat. They have 3 choices for brewed coffee: French Press (dark roast), Colombian (medium roast), and I forget the name of the light roast. He let me try all 3 in separate glass cups. He was patient. Then I inquired about their expressions--also 3 to choose from: 1. Guatemalan, 2. Columbian, and 3. French. I am sipping the Guatemalan americano and it has chocolate undertones. Yummy! I did try the samples they had out this morning by the register: 1. Peanut Butter Arugula Toast and 2. Sliced Egg Toast. Enjoyed them both.m, but the Egg one was my fav between the two. Good stream of people coming through mid-morning. There is a hideout small lounge area good for 6 people. I saw an outlet there as well. Free WiFi. They do not rush. They bring the food to you.

Ina B.

Yelp
Absolute gem of a place! Excellent service as always by the duo (whom I believe are the owners)! The kind of establishment you want to keep going to, for the quality of drink, food, service and just a touch of a scavenger hunt to locate to make it interesting. There's a little alcove with a chess set, if so inclined. Very welcoming for locals and visitors alike! Burrata toast and lavender lattes are my usual. Super recommend!

Joshua R.

Yelp
Tucked underground, down the Williams St. entrance to the 2/3 train, this place serves the best coffee in New York City. And I mean that -- unlike the bespoke Brooklyn roasters that open only at odd hours, this place serves up drool-worthy Geisha, Pink bourbon and single origin coffees right along your commute! Far out!

Yemisi B.

Yelp
Located just down the subway steps. Immaculate vibes and really great coffee. 5 stars.

Marie K.

Yelp
This place is back in business! Will was my barista this morning. I ordered Lavender Latte because I never saw it anywhere else near by me. He told me where my coffee beans came from but I forgot. The latte tastes rlly good. I am drinking it currently

Garry S.

Yelp
Voyager is my go-to place for coffee. It's like coming home to folks that are always happy to see you, go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, make your experience the best, and most importantly, live for coffee. It's never a miss, never dull, and always fun!

Danielle Z.

Yelp
While it may go unnoticed due to location it so makes up for! I passed a few times headed to the 2/3 line and noticed Voyager was always busy. Popped in for a great cold brew and have been loyal since! Their pastries are also super fresh and yummy! The same two people are always there (assume they are the owners) and are soo incredibly lovely. I think I went twice before they had my order memorized. All around a great spot I really recommend!

Dasle K.

Yelp
I'm in my happy place right now. Voyager coffee allows you to complete escape from the hustle and bustle of the financial district... in the least expected place of all. At the Fulton St subway station! It's basically a sauna in NYC right now (mid August) so I opted for an iced coffee. The barista even gave me a free coffee tasting so I could choose! I tried the Barundi, Colombian, and the dark roast. They were all sooo good but I personally liked Colombian the best. I'm a big fan of the presentation here. The metal straw, mini water cup, coffee beaker, the tray... I love it all. They even make their own almond, macadamia nut, and date milk. Soooo good. Definitely try this. Overall, amazing coffee, service, interior, and presentation. Can't wait to be back many many more times :)

Mike A.

Yelp
Best coffee I ever had ! Thank you. It was smooth without texture. It had an awesome after taste !

Daniel C.

Yelp
Such a cool spot! Just a quick stop-off in the subway entrance at William Street. Super friendly staff who took such care for a single, house-blend coffee! Delicious and smooth blend as well! I also LOVE the theme, original and super fun! Definitely put this place on your destination list when you're in the FiDi!

Lukas H.

Yelp
Voyager Espresso is the epitome of a hidden gem. This intimate cafe is located underground, beneath an office building in the financial district, and, most importantly, serves killer coffee. I had a single-origin Ethiopian light roast pour over, and the round, bright flavor profile was exactly what I needed on a chilly afternoon. What made the experience truly special was the friendliness of the baristas. They were eager to share some coffee made from new Columbian beans they had roasted a day prior, and we had a great time discussing the flavor profile. Needless to say, I will definitely be back for another afternoon pick-me-up!

Lisa S.

Yelp
Best coffee ever! I work in the neighborhood, and this is definitely the best coffee shop around. They serve your coffee on a cute little tray with a glass is sparkling water. The owners are super friendly, and I love that I'm supporting a small business run by incredibly hard-working and kind people. I'm always welcomed with a smile. Their avocado toast is delicious too, and honestly the coffee is really good. Even my almond milk latte is thick with thick foam on top. Yum!
