I came for an early dinner and was immediately greeted by a warm hostess! The ambiance is very nice, and I could see how this would be a perfect date night after the sun sets. The bartender was very nice and knowledgeable. The food was great! The Armenian dessert cake was 👌🏾 (forgot the name of it)! The drinks were really well balanced and tasty! I'd DEFINITELY come back again!

Visited July 16th..always see my receipt. What a beautiful and trendy restaurant in old Sacramento! Make reservations! We got there when they opened ( had reservations) and was greeted by Chris ( wonderful bartender!). He made me a beautiful Dubai chocolate expresso martini with pistachios on the rim. Omg..so tasty! My boyfriend got the old fashioned and he really enjoyed it! We started out with the kabobs..way bigger than we expected! It had some spice on it and it was tender and delicious! We shared the filet mignon after eating that huge kabob! The filet was cooked perfectly ( medium) - juicy and tender! I asked for more of the glaze and poured more of the delectable sauce on the filet! This is an upscale restaurant with signature cocktails and really nice wines. This is the type of place that you should dress classy! The manager at the front desk ( FARDEEN) was very personable and a true professional. The place gets really busy after 6pm. It's an uplifting atmosphere and CHRIS was so sweet and so was FARDEEN! Thank you for such an enjoyable and first class experience! Ps. They have happy hour from 430pm to 6pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays

🤌🏾 This was a dining experience. As close to perfection one can get. Any words I could share would fall short of the recognition this place deserves. Decided on a whim to try the Thursday Tomahawk special. Lobster mac for the side. Had both Old Fashioned options for drinks. The smoked one was a bit overpowering for my taste but was still excellent. Tomahawk cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. Amazingly tender. Ganache for dessert. Huge portions. Enough for 2 or one big eater like myself. Really have no complaints. Only reason for not doing 5 stars across the board was I felt like the waiter could have been just a little more attentive. Still great service. Definitely will repeat.

What an experience! My friend and I came on a Thursday night, it was not too busy and we did not need a deposit for the reservation. We were initially sat at a two seater table, kind of small so we asked for a booth, and that was thankfully accommodated. I really need to start remembering names because our waiter was amazing and he made sure we were good the entire time. Mind you, we were there for about three hours lol The food was great! We ordered a ribeye and a New York steak, we also tried the caviar. I read some of the lower star reviews and maybe things are different on the weekends, but I had an awesome experience here and my friend and I will definitely make this our new go to! And if you do order a tomahawk, be prepared for some entertainment! I personally thought it was pretty cool! They even have a photographer there!

Great experience, great vibe, and the decor is awesome. Music not too loud, just perfect, seat placement was spacious, lighting was good. Booze selection, beer menu was slim, the cocktails were good. Food, honestly everything I ate was salty. I know the smoked salmon mousse was salty for my taste however I did like the presentation with the salmon eggs. The Golden Trio was disappointing, salty, over cooked, and caviar had barely any pop or texture. The wagyu was burnt and to be honest if I wasn’t too tipsy tasted like pork with fat left on. The highlight of the night was the entree; Tomahawk 49ox V’s Surf & Turf Lastly, I wish their bathroom was just a little bigger. But hey all, the winners are those who provide a great service. Thank yall

Google
I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this place. It is everything. I thought it would be amazing ambience I had Andy, who was my bartender and my server. He guided me through every selection very carefully. He recommended the appetizer kebab. It was super tasty. I was craving more. The hummus was homemade beautiful pairing with an Armenian tortilla. Also had the pleasure of meeting VEE the owner he was super delightful amazing his eyes definitely had me mesmerized for the first 10 minutes. once you can get past that and have a conversation with him, you'll see that he is an amazing owner takes pride in getting to know his guest

Google
Such an incredible experience in Sacramento !!! V’s Paradise has exceeded all expectations. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and the dining experience is amazing!! The ceaser salad has this lovely crumb on it .. they use a special spice that just kicked off the meal, staff was sooooooo patient. The bar made drinks to our exact specifications. When I say exact… I mean down to the special ingredients we wanted. It’s not easy to make a large group happy but everyone was thoroughly happy with the service!!! NOW for the grande finale, the tomahawk presentation was AMAZING!!!! The fire trick, the fun robot ( the robot gave me a high five😊) …and of course the patient photographer who silently took the most beautiful candid pictures during our tomahawk show. Elated is an understatement. Oooooohhh and PS I can’t wait to try their brunch if that’s how amazing dinner is. Ohhh and drum roll for the carousel! The owners passion permeates through every crevice of the restaurant and it was an absolute pleasure dining here. The birthday celebration was one for the books.

Google
The food was absolutely delicious! the pear salad was fresh, the right amount of dressing, perfect. the char was awesome, tender moist flaky. Short rib was off the charts. service was efficient but lacked a soul. The server was very accommodating to the kids at the table. If the atmosphere was more welcoming, this would be one of the best. places around. Desserts were great too. they have nice after dinner ports

Yelp
We enjoyed everything about our visit. Great food, exceptional service.l and soothing ambience.

Yelp
We went to V's Paradise specifically because they had a live saxophonist, and it ended up being a great experience. We came during brunch when the space was bright and not too crowded. The hostess and our server were very attentive, they let us choose our seats and even moved us closer to the saxophone, which we appreciated. I ordered hot water, which surprisingly can be hard to get at some places, so I was pleased they brought it without any issue. We tried the Dubai Espresso Martini; it was good, though I think next time I'd just stick with a regular espresso martini. For food, we ordered the Crab Cake Benedict, the French toast, and a side salad that wasn't even on the menu. The crab cakes were delicious and full of flavor. We added a side of fries because they were recommended, and they did not disappoint; thin, crispy, and well seasoned. The French toast was tasty, especially with the compote. The side salad felt very fall-inspired, and I was genuinely impressed with how quickly they put it together even though it wasn't listed on the menu. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at V's Paradise and will definitely be back.

Yelp
I had high expectations due to seeing their social medias. I came here for my birthday for brunch on a Saturday. When we arrived we were sat down. It then took them 22minutes to wait on us and apologized that there was a miscommunication on who was our waiter.. granted there were only 2 other tables who were being waited on within the restaurant. It then took about 15/20minutes for our appetizers to come out, we already placed our entrees when we ordered our appetizers.. Appetizers were okay but not worth the price. We ordered the beef kabobs and chicken wings. They only give you 6 chicken wings for $19 which is crazy.. (menu doesn't specify quantity) Now it took about 20minutes for our entrees to come out from when we had gotten our appetizers. One meal was supposed to have medium rare steak that was added($14 extra to add) to the pesto pasta and it was well done then the pasta was DRY.. the food was sent back and asked if my friend wanted the pasta and steak to be cooked separately.. took about another 15minutes to come out.. the steak was not cut correctly to eat and they forgot to give my friend a steak knife the crispy pork sandwich was just a pork patty fried and not seasoned with a sauce and lettuce? It was also DRY. This came with a salad and it wasn't chopped enough so the pieces were really thick and it was soggy like the dressing had been sitting on it. I ordered the roasted vegetable pesto panini. This was in fact not a panini but it's on ciabatta bread. If I have known it was ciabatta I wouldn't have ordered it. This was also dry, the pesto sauce doesn't look like it was made in house. The menu states fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, caramelized onions. But it had zucchini, bell peppers? And whatever else on it. This came with fries. We also ordered the potatoes and they were nothing more than boiled small yellow potatoes then lightly fried and tossed in some oil with salt and maybe garlic/parsley. Not much flavor. My whole experience here was disappointing and laughable. I'm assuming the owner came over to our table to speak with us and I provided the same information to him, he proceeded to ask what would you like us to do and we will talk to the chef. I didn't ask for anything but provided feedback in hopes that he would find a way to be accommodating.. The amount of time we had to wait was inexcusable as it was basically empty. We had a terrible experience and our food was not up to par, we all did not finish our food, the owner took off the cost of the steak($14). For a restaurant that is marketing itself to be high class and top tier food. It was unfortunate that myself and my friends had to experience this. Do not recommend. They put too much effort for the aesthetic and not towards the quality of their food and customer service. Really wish I never came here and did not feel special at all.

Yelp
This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in the Sacramento area. In short, the experience and the service were excellent. We definitely recommend this place and will come back. The best part of the day was being with my lady. This was one of my best birthday celebrations ever thanks to Glitter. PROS + Ambience From the moment you enter the restaurant, you know that it's gonna be a fun and classy experience. The architecture and decor are awesome. It's a blend of vintage and contemporary. You will be wowed. Luxurious and classy. + Staff and Service We came for lunch earlier in the day and the food was delicious. Fardeen is an excellent GM. He not only made us feel welcomed as we entered the restaurant, he engaged us throughout our time there. Shane was a great bartender. The drinks were on point. I had the Blood Orange Margarita. Later that evening, we had dinner reservations for my birthday. Again, Fardeen and the staff took great care of us. Thank you! + Cuisine They have a unique take on some traditional dishes. They mix in an Armenian flair with much of the menu. They have the best Caesar salad we've ever tasted. The filet mignon was mouthwatering and the scallops were delicious. CONS - Parking in general is pretty tough in the area. Plan accordingly.

Yelp
Sunday, 8/10/2025 @ V's Paradise. Food is good here. Parking a little hard to find. You just gotta in the parking structure in old Sacramento. Restaurant is still clean and beautiful. Staffs nice. I had a nice time here and enjoyed it. We came here to celebrate a birthday. But one of my friend, after I left, said she had a rough time with the manager and did not like this restaurant. I still gotta bring my spouse to try here. I haven't brought him yet.

Yelp
I was almost going to give the restaurant a 5 star rating but I was so disappointed when I got home and discovered the waiter gave my friend my risotto leftovers The lobster risotto was so delicious, I was savoring each bite. It was smooth, creamy, a little taste of heaven in each bite. Instead I received my friend's seafood pasta which wasn't bad, it just wasn't as amazing as the risotto. One tip, the Armenian Caesar salad has a topping of breadcrumbs which has a strong cumin flavor so be careful if cumin isn't your seasoning. Lastly, you can't go wrong with a glass of red wine and some garlic fries. Speaking of wine, this place will get you in the mood to dance and the waiters will be ready to dance with you. An overall fun Saturday night in Old Sacramento!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night. Made reservations about a week in advance. PARKING: street parking is tricky in the Old Sac area especially by this place. There are a couple of parking lots nearby. Do plan accordingly. INTERIOR: very stunning, upscale decor. Tastefully done. This place is appropriate for a date night or special occasion. You will impress who ever you bring here! Also - people do come here dressed to impress, so do keep that in mind! AMBIANCE: Live saxophone player was a real delight! He was so energetic and fun! Some people got up and danced. There was a photographer that was taking photos of each table. She returned with them framed for sale, which we thought was a bit tacky. Either give a complimentary photo as memorabilia like other upscale steakhouses do, otherwise don't interrupt us for photos and sales like you would experience at an amusement park. $25 is what we overheard the price for 1 picture in a plastic frame was! DINING: the salad were fresh, wines listed paired well with entrees, charcuterie board contents were all well chosen. The cheese was creamy and sweet. For main courses we picked halibut (a bit fishy tasting/smelling), steak (exceptional here!), and corn risotto (amazing!). They were very considerate of my dietary restrictions and were able to make the dish vegetarian (and can make it vegan too!) PLEASE GET DESSERT AND COFFEE HERE! The Armenian coffee is so creamy and some of the best I've ever had here! We enjoyed every bite of the honey cake and ice cream. Service was attentive and welcoming. We really enjoyed this unique experience; this restaurant is truly one of a kind! :)

Yelp
Visited for the second time October 9 2025. See my receipt. It's a classy restaurant with excellent service! Amelia (bartender)..Fardeen..the General Manager...and the owner are all very professional and take pride in what they are serving to their customers. I love the kabobs so I ordered one to eat at the restaurant and the other to go. The meat is well seasoned and I love their hummus that goes with the dish. They have happy hour on Wednesdays and Thursdays and I enjoyed a nice glass of red wine with my appetizer( the beef kabob is enough for 2 people and more of an entree because I am not a big eater!) Its classy and well staffed. Beautiful inside! Another great experience and highly recommended! Date night or large groups are perfect!

Yelp
V's Paradise is an Armenian owed restaurant located in Old Sac. Now don't let the surrounding Old Sac charm deceive you on the type of decor and ambiance inside. It is far from that and is truly stunning and elegant all throughout. Perfect spot for a date night or perhaps, a night to have a jaw dropping meal experience. Ours was the carousel drink. :) Lots of ooh's and ah's. We came here for my sister's birthday and were treated so kindly. The host, server (Ronshell), and GM were very attentive providing amazing hospitality from start to finish. We ordered a lot because YOLO. Ahhahahaha. The Carousel 8/10 - Jaw dropping, strong, pricy Armenian Caesar 8/10 - Deliciously familiar yet still unique with Armenian flavors Confit Chicken Wings 6/10 - Nothing diff than wings from BWW Tomatoes & Burrata 7/10 - Choice of bread should have been a crusty one and burrata is not for everyone Wagyu Short Rib 9/10 - Magnificently flavorful & tender. Choice of cut can make or break your meal experience. Roasted Corn Risotto (sub lobster for chicken) 10/10 - Looked as if it had been sitting under the heating lamps awhile but the taste absolutely made up for it Pacific Halibut 10/10 - Perfectly tender and fresh Affogato 8/10 - Great wake up dessert and coffee wasn't too bitter Grandma's Honey Cake 5/10 - We couldn't get over the look of this being stacked toast despite it being cake. Flavor was meh Fine dining is definitely the vibe and experience you'll get here. You'll catch live entertainment Friday's and Saturday's. We came on a Sunday so no live music but they had a good playlist going. Due to the seasonal menu this time I was limited on what I truly would enjoy eating. I don't do seafood and eating red meat isn't my preferred protein, hence subbing for chicken in the risotto. As much as I loved my meal I don't think I'll be coming back. However, it is a place I'd recommend to others for the fine dining experience.

Yelp
So this was a good time. I made a reservation for dinner on a Saturday night. Saw this place on social media and had it favorited on my Yelp. Took hubby for his bday. We shared the Cesar salad, I had two espresso martinis, hubby had the v's fashioned, we shared avocado toast, and my entree was the seafood pasta. Now check the correct names for the items I'm describing but this is essentially what I ordered lol. All of the food was good, my martini was delicious and service was excellent. The general manager came out and spoke with us for a while. He was a very nice man who was kind and personable. He even sent over a complimentary birthday treat after learning why we came. Parking can be a struggle as it's in old sac. The ambiance is great for date night or night out with the girls. Can't wait to come back

Yelp
I had such a wonderful experience at V's Paradise! The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the service was truly top-notch. This place reminds of a Vegas experience. High class. Everything we ordered was superb. Vartan, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail really stood out. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and takes great pride in his business. Highly recommend this place I'll definitely be coming back! Oh, forgot to mention. We were celebrating my friend's birthday. They made her feel super special. Definitely go here if you want to have your loved one feel special on her birthday. Thank you Vartan and staff. We will definitely be back soon.

Yelp
I'd been wanting to try V's Paradise in Old Sacramento since it opened and finally went. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made for a great start. We ordered two Mimosa Carousels ($95 each). The presentation was cute, but it felt like more juice than liquor--not worth the price. For appetizers, the lobster toast ($17) was unique but not my taste, and the halibut aguachile ($24) was pretty good, though the menu mentioned a tostada that never came. For mains, we tried a steak with scallops, but the steak was dry with a strong mezcal flavor (not listed on the menu), steak sauce extra $4.The tomahawk ($250) came with mac and cheese and fries and took over 45 minutes. The chef brought it out with a little show, which was entertaining but unnecessary when you just want your food. Overall, the experience was fun to try once, but the food and drinks don't justify the high prices. I probably wouldn't return.

Yelp
We came here for a very special occasion and V's Paradise pulled out all the stops to make it special! It started with complimentary bubbly and didn't stop until the check came. The food was delicious! We had Scallops and Steak with two potato based sides. Everything was absolutely amazing! 10/5 would recommend those meals. The service was top notch from start to finish! The staff checked on us to ensure our night was special and it was! The ambiance of this place is super cool! They had a DJ spinning all night which was great! If you are looking for a special place or just a place in general with fantastic food. This is your spot! Check it out! You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
This restaurant is very fancy and pricey. Nice decorations inside. 7:35pm we arrived here. I thought Raphalel was going to be our server but it switched to Lacey. While he was at our table I sneezed and he said salute 2 times. I sneezed third time and he made a joke and it was so funny. He was very likeable and gentleman. Our server switched to Lacey. She became our main server, she was very friendly and sweet. 8:04pm waiting for food. 8:20pm we got salad. 8:23 got appetizer (shrimp lobster toast). A different server named Amelia served us salad. We ordered Old fashion- came smoking-super strong for me, Lemon drop, Ny steak frites, Ribeye, Filet mignon, and Caesar salad with vinegrette. Shrimp lobster toast, white sauce tastes sour, orange sauce tastes smooth mayo and mild not sour, bread is very rich and buttery. Since our food was taking too long, I finally asked when our food would be coming since it's been almost an hr. They said they have a huge party so I guess. To the guy with the curly hair with the bad perm, he was rude, we asked if he can take our pics, he said yeah but walked away. I guess he was busy. There were fruit flies flying around our drinks and food so the restaurant would need to get that fixed. I couldn't get a picture because my ladies were squatting them away. The steaks were ok, all tasted the same. Steak with frites is more frites than steak.

Yelp
This was our first time coming here, we heard about the restaurant lounge through social media and friends that have been here. For starters, we were seated at the bar at first, we were waiting to be seated at one of the tables & we decided to get drinks. We ordered The House Sangria, an Armenian Dream, and a glass of Cab. Super yummy, the drinks did not disappoint. We were celebrating our sister's birthday and she even got a free shot from the couple that was sitting next to us. The bartenders were super nice & quick as well. If you wanna just get drinks, you will be super satisfied for sure. After getting some drinks, we were seated in the main dining area & let me just compliment the esthetic of the restaurant. Super modern, it gave high-end, it low key gave more lounge than restaurant. We loved how it looked and felt. The live DJ was super dope too, shout out to him. Our waiter Roosevelt was super nice, his customer service was A1 and we enjoyed him overall. Despite the esthetics, the staff and the drinks being on point. We were actually disappointed about our food, we ordered the Ribeye and the Lamb Chops. The presentation was beautiful, it just lacked seasoning to us, my steak had no body, it was bland. Despite the food not being up to par, in our opinion. This is a dope place & honestly we'll definitely be coming back.

Yelp
My friends brought me here for my birthday and it was amazing food and entertainment. The entire experience was beautiful we had a live singer the entire dinning experience. At that time they had a sushi chef on service, sushi was made to order which I absolutely loved. I will definitely go back for the experience again.

Yelp
I highly recommend V's Paradise, especially for brunch thus far!! I had the best birthday brunch there this past weekend and it was a dream! Initially I reserved a table for 14 about a month ahead of time. Be prepared to pay a deposit per person. Mine was $25 per person. This is to ensure you will not cancel day off. It was going to be my first time so I was skeptical but it was all very worth it and I was able to put the deposit towards the tab! V's staff was very helpful everytime I called to ask a question. They made sure if I wanted to have a champagne or carousel ready for the occasion and confirmed I could bring a cake for the table. I arrived and was able to wait for the rest of my party by the bar. Half of your party needs to be there before they can seat you. They were able to get me a water and be super hospitable. Service was amazing the whole way through our time there. The Dubai Chocolate Expresso Martinis were delish and the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with shallot jam was so good!! Everyone at my table loved the food. It was the right amount of food portion wise as well. The staff also had a photographer going around taking photos of us and were able to frame the photos for $25 each. We definitely bought a few! That was such a nice touch and they look incredible. Come time for the cutting of the cake and they do charge a serving fee of $3 per person so just be aware. I think it was still worth it as they made the experience of being sang happy birthday really special with a smoke show around the cake with dry ice. It was the best!! I am excited to come back and enjoy their dinner. I also think their food is appropriately priced and can't wait to try them once more!!

Yelp
Service and food were great... but... We ordered a salmon mousse appetizer and it said it had nori on it, when we questioned the parsley, the waiter said the nori was mixed in spices on the chips... ok. We get it. Prior to ordering our main, we asked for an extra plate; when our short ribs came out... the waitress asked if we were sharing and said yes and needed plates. We were never served plates and had to reuse our appetizer plates. We are NOT cheap by splitting a meal, we are both gastric sleevers and eat very little. Here is what really "got my goat"... 30% tip slot????? Who does that????

Yelp
Me and my wife came here for my birthday dinner. I heard about this restaurant through Yelp and social media. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by staff. Staff were friendly and very polite. We were seated immediately and the waitress took our order. I ordered a v's fashion drink, Armenian Caesar, shrimp & lobster toast and the short rib with mashed potatoes. The drink was phenomenal, delicious and very refreshing. The Caesar and shrimp & lobster toast was delicious and very flavorful. The short rib with the mashed potatoes with mushrooms was phenomenal and very tender. We got a chance to speak with the owner who is very friendly and humble. We were presented with ice cream with Armenian coffee. The dessert was great and very tasty. The ambiance is customer service friendly and very top notch. If you like a top notch restaurant experience with great food and drinks this is the place to go.

Yelp
definitely cannot stop raving about the spot came here to get a drink for my son's birthday and get the kebab because I am infatuated with the kebab is so delicious so much flavor. It was big enough for us. All four to share also had their happy hour old-fashioned it was really good. My daughter-in-law had the raspberry lemon drop. That was good. Also the cucumber margarita I can't wait to see what they add to this drink menu such a beautiful place for any occasion.

Yelp
We came here for my mom's birthday. My brother made the reservation and indicated it for her birthday, and they asked again when we arrived for check-in. They included a little birthday sign at the table which was a nice touch. The decor and ambiance is nice and elegant as well. We ordered a round of drinks, a bottle of wine, and our entrees. The food was great! The ribeye, NY steaks, and scallops were all cooked well. Our sides (garlic fries and beet salad) and salads were delicious as well. Only complaint here is that the steaks could've been seasoned a bit more. Unfortunately, otherwise the service was slow and lacking. Our waitress basically didn't come back after taking our orders, and we had to flag down the waiter from the nearby table to get water. They didn't come to check if we were liking the food, etc. so we couldn't even get salt and pepper for our steaks. We also felt a discrepancy in table treatment. The nearby table was also celebrating a bday and got free shots for the bday girl, while our bday girl wasn't offered anything. :( For a high-end restaurant, I'd expect better service and treatment, especially when they ask what the occasion is! We felt disappointed with the automatic charging of 20% gratuity.

Yelp
This place is amazing. The food is amazing that shrimp and lobster toast with delicious and the Armenian salad. It was so good next time. I'm gonna try it with some shrimp on it. The staff is absolutely amazing very accommodating. We sat at the bar and they were so nice. The ambience is just that much better. It's so nice and just vibe in there gonna go to the brunch on August 23 so I can check out the brunch. We were there for happy hour so if you ever need a happy hour spot go ahead and try their place. It's nice. It's big ass music but I wanna try their brunch so I'm gonna try the brunch on August 23 and I'll be back to review that but it's absolutely amazing. You have to try it out.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. Decor is great . Beautifully appointed. Service was fine . Seats very comfortable. Clean restaurant. I did not care for the photographer going around asking to take pictures for sale later. Nice menu . Delicious beef kabobs. Fries okay . Shrimp and lobster toast . Fail . Nothing special to it . Dry thick bread with a spread of shrimp and lobster mixture maybe ? Basic chicken wings . Will I visit again ? No .

Yelp
I paid a fair amount of money for my significant other and I to dine at Vs for Valentine Day. We showed up 15 min prior to our resy to only be greeted by a line of other customers who had the same seating time. We weren't pressed, so we got in line. I was wearing 4 inch heels and to my avail, not only did we not get seated at our reservation time, but we sat 30 min after. When the doors opened and we were greeted by the host, he sat is at the one table that was in the middle of the walk way. Right by the bar where other patrons were standing to get drinks and wait for seats. I told the host that I was not happy about my seat and he said, that's where you paid to sit. When I never had a choice to choose my seat when i pre-paid! Meanwhile, I watched a gentleman who did not have reservation, but knew the owner get a prime seat for him and his date. I HATE THE SERVICE! The food was ok, but if you can't treat me well.... to hell with your restaurant! I would not recommend or ever go back!!!!

Yelp
Had dinner at the bar top. There was someone training behind the bar, but meal and service were both excellent. Ordered a filet with broccolini. Food was exceptional. Definitely looking forward to dining here again.

Yelp
Went to brunch on a Sunday around noon and there was no wait. Got seated and the dJ was setting up to start their live set. The employees were welcoming and nice. There was a photographer that made their rounds to take photos of each table. I loved how we didn't feel rushed after finishing our food. We were able to comfortably chat and sit at our table for however long we wanted. Let's get down to the food. I got the crab cake Benedict and it was an 8/10 for me. I wish the egg was more runny. Seasoning wise I wish there was more flavor. The yellow sauce was creamy but had little to no seasoning. The crab cake was moist and soft. Drinks. Espresso martini was 10/10 for me. It was not bitter. It had a good mix of alcohol and espresso. Lemon drop 10/10 could taste the alcohol. Strawberry paradise 3/10 tastes like juice. I didn't get to taste the Dubai espresso martini. They ran out of the sauce. My coworker got it and she loved it.

Yelp
I came here for my birthday and was honestly really disappointed. They usually have entertainment, but there wasn't any this time, which made the atmosphere feel flat. We had to wait at the bar because they wouldn't seat us until half the party arrived, even though I had already paid a $200 deposit for a large group. The Strawberry Paradise drink at the bar was the highlight (super good, kind of like a strawberry white linen). When I told them it was my birthday, they asked if I wanted to do a "carousel" experience and explain what it was but didn't openly share what it cost. They just asked me yes or no. When I asked how much it was, it was over $90. That just felt strange and felt like they were trying to upsell. The food took a really long time to come out. The staff did check on us once to mention the kitchen was backed up, but it was still frustrating waiting so long. When it finally came, it wasn't as good as before. A few of us ordered the scallops, and unfortunately we all felt nauseous afterward, which ruined the rest of my birthday evening. My friends also wanted to do something small for me, but the restaurant charged $15 for a tiny dessert with a candle, which is usually something restaurants comp for birthdays. Even after appetizers and drinks, we left still hungry and ended up going somewhere else. The atmosphere is nice overall, but you can tell the place isn't being taken care of like it used to be and I don't think it's been open for even a year yet. Bathrooms were clean, but there was a weird leak with a towel wrapped around it. Overall, this place just isn't what it used to be. I don't see it being open much longer if this is how they treat their customers. Between the long wait, mediocre food, extra charges, and everyone feeling sick after, it made for a really disappointing birthday experience. I do not plan to ever go back unless there is new management or new owners.

Yelp
We had dinner here on Saturday night, and while the setting was lovely and the live music was excellent, the overall experience was disappointing. The volume of the music was uncomfortably loud--so much so that, at a table of five, I couldn't hear our server speaking just a few seats away. We politely asked if the volume could be lowered, but the request was dismissed with, "It's live music." While the band was talented, the noise level made normal conversation nearly impossible without raising our voices. As for the food, it was overpriced for what you get. A $69 ribeye doesn't include sides, and one of our party's steaks, ordered medium rare, arrived medium well. He chose not to send it back, but it certainly affected our impression. Our server was attentive and professional, and the restaurant itself is stylish, but between the high prices, overly loud music, and lack of willingness to adjust for guest comfort, it simply wasn't worth it. If you're looking for a similar upscale dining experience without these downsides, I'd recommend Q1227 at the Galleria--better food, better value, and an equally elegant atmosphere with top-notch service.

Yelp
What went well?... let me tell you, Everything! The place is very very nice arranged or I should say decorated, the staff dressed to impress, polite and happy to help with any questions regarding dinner options and drink preference . It's a must that you try their espresso martinis... they're the best in Sacramento

Yelp
I came here to celebrate my cousins birthday yesterday and I am not disappointed at all! Upon walking in, the aesthetic of the restaurant was very pleasing. They truly turned the place to look very eye catching and elegant. The staff warmly greeted us and sat us down quite quickly so I was very happy about that. I want to say all throughout my dining experience, any questions we had were handled with care and professionalism. Our group ordered the golden trio, tomahawk platter, pacific halibut, and the filet mignon. Golden Trio: I loved the presentation first and foremost and the variety of trying appetizers. The caviar tasted really fresh on top of the layered potato slits. The scallops were a bit on the salty side in my opinion but still very delicious. The Wagyu was insanely superb as it really just melts in your mouth along with the golden flakes. I'd say having this as an appetizer really set the ambiance on how the rest of the night went. Tomahawk Platter: Presentation for this platter was so fancy I loved it. I'm a sucker for a good presentation! We easily adjusted and swapped out a couple items that come with the platter itself due to dairy restrictions and we did not regret that because there are other sides that truly sufficed. The shishito peppers were delicious & quite addicting. As for the tomahawk itself, it was cooked to perfection. The flavors were great. Filet Mignon: There's something that stands out in their Demi glaze that I can't wrap my mind around. It paired incredibly well with the filet and cooked exactly to perfection. Also got a potato puree not pictured on the side. Nonetheless, great entree as well. Pacific Halibut: Presentation wise, it was very appealing. Had a very nice crust and flaky inside. Sauce on top was a little on the sweeter side but I didn't mind it at all. The risotto it sits on top of was also delicious. I'm not quite sure what that green sauce was but I practically smothered my halibut in that in every bite, it was great! My overall experience here was great. I clearly forgot to ask for our waitress name but she was incredibly accommodating to our needs and questions throughout the entire dining experience. Keep it going girl, you're doing great! Would definitely suggest this to friends and family if they are looking for a special occasion dinner. I want to say thank you for having us and being so caring! The entire staff seemed really nice. Hope to see you guys again soon!

Yelp
What an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and served in really good portions. The service was superb, truly above and beyond. The staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of from start to finish. S/O to them for providing such a great time. It was more than just a dinner celebration; it was a whole experience that left us smiling long after we left. Highly recommend, can't wait to come back! 10/10

Yelp
Took wifey here for a late anniversary dinner and this place did not disappoint. Our server Kimberley was amazing...super sweet and played a huge part in making our evening memorable. She even came up with a vegetarian dish for my wife. The manager Richard came to our table and chatted with us for a bit. He's the kind of guy you would love to have a drink with. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were on point. We can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Compared to other Sacramento restaurants, this place raises the bar. 5/5 Ambiance- Nice, trendy, fun atmosphere 5/5 Service- Our server Ami was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very attentive! From the hostess to the owner (Rich, I met him as I was attempting to get a full view of the place.) everyone was welcoming. I appreciated other staff walking by wishing me a happy birthday. 5/5 Food- I had the Bella Ciao cocktail & Waygu short ribs and Brussel sprouts for dinner. The short ribs were very delicious and tender. I really enjoyed my birthday dinner. I only wish they offered a cute, complimentary birthday treat afterwards but other than that, V's Paradise is a good addition to Old Sac!

Yelp
This steakhouse was not good. We went on a Thursday night for a girls' date night and waited 30-40 minutes for our food. The filet mignon was overpriced and too salty. Overall, the experience was disappointing. I've been to much better steakhouses. I won't be going back. Honestly, I'd rather buy a filet mignon from Trader Joe's and cook it myself, it would taste a whole lot better. The only thing I enjoyed that night was hanging out with my girls.

Yelp
My friends and I came here back in September to celebrate my birthday. We spent over $500, so I was really hoping for a great experience, but it honestly fell short. Our server accidentally spilled drinks on us twice, I wasn't upset about it since mistakes happen, but it definitely threw things off a bit. The service overall just didn't match the high expectations I had for such a nice place. We all ordered steaks, but they just weren't good, tough, lacking flavor, and not what you'd expect for the price. No one ever said happy birthday to me or offered a dessert, which was disappointing, especially since we were celebrating and spent quite a bit. After leaving, I actually went back to share my feedback in person. They told me they'd give me a call and wanted me to come back for another try, but I never heard from anyone again. I wasn't asking for anything free just wanted to share my honest experience. Sadly, not getting that follow-up made it even more disappointing.

Yelp
The food is : 1/5 stars. Ive been here twice and two very different experiences. I came for dinner and got the seafood pasta. The food was so hot steaming but I came back for brunch and the food was cold and the "grilled" chicken was actually fried chicken croutons. I sent it back because it was cold and the chicken so dry and but grilled. I got the mimosa tower which I would day : 2/5 stars because the flavors were very avg. The one who really shined was the live sax player and dj who really created the vibe foe brunch.

Yelp
So a friend recommended this place. It was for my 49th birthday and also my 28th wedding anniversary which I put in The reservation . Very dissatisfied that it wasn't even acknowledged. Service was super slow. We put in our happy hour drink order but didn't get happy hour price due to waiter putting in order probably after the time allotted. Food was ok Steak had a strong Smokey flavor. Beet salad was great tho !!! We were there for 2 1/2 hours. .

Yelp
We had reservations for a party of 4 for a b day celebration. It was on a Wednesday night we walked in and it was really nice and elegant inside . I had no idea it was in Old Sacramento this area normally has more bars and stuff.. This is definitely an upscale place for the area. It's beautiful inside with a vintage bar area. We ordered the V'S Carousel it's 4 Premium Cocktails with a Smoke Show that goes in a circle motion really cool looking . It comes with these 4 drinks - $95 City of Trees Strawberry Lemon Drop Mango Margarita Blue Helvita My favorite was the City of Trees . We ordered appetizers - Hye Five and the Armenian Caesar Salad . For our meals we got the Short Rib , Ribeye, and Pacific Halibut . The extra sides we got were -Blistered Peppers and Potato Puree. Everything was very tasty I really enjoyed my Short Rib . I also ordered an other drink called King's Royal which was very good . The service was above and beyond we got greeted as soon as we came in the door. We sat at the bar a young lady helped us before our party came in called Aly she was super nice . Richard was also super nice and attentive . Overall we had an amazing time . The food was tasty the service was top notch . I would definitely be back .

Yelp
Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Ambiance 10/10 Made reservations for a $200 deposit, which is fair. We came on Saturday and were seated within a few minutes. Started off with cocktails, strong drinks which we enjoyed. Small menu but selection was good enough for everyone. Food quality was not Michelin star but well prepared. We enjoyed our experiences. Ambiance was classy with a saxophonist playing throughout the place. He played a happy birthday song for my son as well.

Yelp
We happened upon this place after a candlelight concert at the Railroad Museum. They were open at 9pm which was convenient for us. The place is very welcoming from the moment you enter. The bar has some history and it's beautiful! I'm a sucker for a beautiful wood bar with history. I believe the bar is from Europe or somewhere overseas. You should ask about it. The manager is friendly and is a good story teller. The staff is very attentive and efficient. They didn't have any beers on tap which is why I didn't give a full 5 stars. They had some ok beer offerings. I definitely think they should get some local beers on tap and if that's not an option, maybe get some cans from some local breweries. The mixed drink that my partner got was tasty. Prices are reasonable. FOOD: The food looked good and I would like to come back and try a couple of items from the menu. PARKING: Since this place is in Old Sac, all street parking is metered and there are 2 parking garages. If you're not staying long, metered parking is the way to go.

Yelp
We were super excited to try V's, have been following them on social media for awhile and don't get out much because we have little kids. So I have high expectations for our once a blue moon date nights :) It started well, they gave us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne for our anniversary. The lobster toast was really good - not what I was expecting, but still good. * picture lobster stuffed French toast * The spring salad had a lot of potential but was very overly dressed. Way too much dressing! I ordered the seafood pappardelle - and that's where it goes south. The first bite left my tongue feeling very acidic and tangy. I'm not sure if it was the cherry tomatoes or what, but the aftertaste was terrible. My husband, who isn't a picky eater at all, agreed. I politely requested if they could make the same thing but just do butter and cheese. The waitress was really nice about it, but when she brought it back, they omitted the scallops - the reason it was more expensive. So that was disappointing but I didn't feel I should keep complaining. My husband got the lamb chops and really liked them. Service was good but not great. Waitress took 10 minutes each time we asked for something. The owner walked around to every single table except ours. I found that to be rude. He stopped at all the tables to talk to them and make conversation, but never once did he visit with us. Sorry I'm not an influencer? Dessert was okay, nothing to write home about, didn't make me do backflips.

Yelp
We celebrated my husband's birthday at V's Paradise in Old Sacramento and had such a great experience. It's a gorgeous steakhouse with lots of original architecture that gives it a unique, upscale yet welcoming vibe. We ordered the Golden Trio and V's Special, paired with a bottle of Taittinger, and everything--from presentation to flavor--was top-notch. One standout was the lobster mac and cheese that comes with the V's Special--absolutely phenomenal, with huge chunks of lobster and a rich, savory breadcrumb topping that made it impossible to stop eating. Service was on point all evening, and the staff made us feel genuinely taken care of. Yes, it's a splurge--our V's Special alone was $280--but the quality and ambiance made it worth it. That said, the only thing that felt a little off was being charged $2 for a small portion of balsamic dressing to go with the salad that was already part of the dish. After a high-end meal, that kind of nickel-and-diming felt a little unnecessary. Overall though, we loved it and will definitely be back--I'm already eyeing their brunch! Highly recommend for a special night out or celebration.

Yelp
This place is a nice edition to Old Sac. The inside is gorgeous. There's also a live saxophone player and it gives off a lively and fun vibe. When you walk in there a decent size bar. I arrived early for our reservation and the hostess was kind enough to walk me to the bar and wait for my friends. The bartender was pleasant and she made me a drink she recommended, which was good. Because of the decor, I was expecting the food to be super fancy but it was simple and delicious food. They have a pretty good drink menu and their cocktail carousel is a novelty for sure! Everything we ordered from the chicken wings and scallops and ribs were all very tasty. I'd come back for a little date night!

Yelp
Went here with high expectations and was subsequently let down. My two friends and I all ordered steak, cooked 3 different ways and all 3 got cooked wrong. The Old Fashioned wasn't special in any way. My friends liked the puréed potatoes, but for $300+ you'd think the meat would be prepared correctly. Nice ambiance though. We expected better. But went away extremely disappointed.

Yelp
Wow. Wow. Wow. Wowww. I had no idea when walking in to V's Paradise that it would hands down be one of the best and funnest dining experiences I've ever had. I don't know where to begin with V's Paradise... we booked same day reservations for two while visiting the Sacramento area. When we arrived we were greeted at the entrance by a friendly security guard and were then escorted to our table by the most sweet and welcoming hostess. The interior of the restaurant is stunning, so much details in the light fixtures, the murals, the lighting and the architecture. Online pictures didn't do the restaurant justice, it's even more chic and stunning in person. We started off with the Armenian Espresso Martinis and chatted with our server for a bit. She was very friendly and took her time explaining the menu and specials. For appetizers we started with the Hye Bye and Kabobs. The appetizers were dropped off by Richard the GM of the restaurant. He explained to us in detail our appetizers, how they're prepped and then chatted with us a bit about the restaurants vision and Armenian influence on the menu. The apps themselves were flavorful and presented beautifully. We ordered our entrees and enjoyed the atmosphere, there was a live saxophone player walking around the restaurant playing cover songs of todays hits. Super entertaining, romantic and unique. As anticipated our main entrees were beautifully presented and equally delicious. We took our first few bites of our food and then out of nowhere I looked up and a huge giant dancing panda came out from around the corner. I'll be honest I was so confused and terrified at first that I dropped my fork. Before we knew it there was a saxophone player, a giant panda and a giant grizzly bear dancing all around the restaurant and the crowd was LOVING IT. Once the dancing bears left the floor we finished our food and digested what we had just experienced lol. I honestly could go on and rave on for days about how this experience was amazing from start to finish. The hospitality and service here is unmatched and left a very memorable mark. Huge thank you to V's Paradise, Richard and staff for their kindness, service and amazing food. 100000/10. V's Paradise is unlike anything else in the Bay Area!

Yelp
We went here today for brunch. Staff was great and presentation was fun. The Mimosa carousel was really cool, but mostly juice and small. The price point is way too high at $65. Loved the crab lobster toast and salmon plate. The crab cake eggs Benedict was also very good. What made the experience less enjoyable was the extremely loud music. It was nightclub level. Not the vibe I want for a dining experience. When we mentioned it, we were told that there was not a way to lower the level of the music, and that the live music was starting soon and it would be even louder. For that reason alone we probably wouldn't go back.
