VSP Consignment

So many 5 star and also 1 star reviews for VSP Consignment. I think most of the 1 star reviews are from customers that are consigning items whereas the 5 stars are from purchasers. I found the service here to be amazing. The store is well laid out. 80% of the store is women's wear but I did find three pieces in the men's sections that were amazing and fairly prices. One of the pieces was actually on sale...the clerk mentioned it at the till which was absolutely unnecessary but very much appreciated. I saved a other $100. The stock is high end for the most part. So don't be shocked by the prices even after list. They are well below the original prices. Loved this whole experience!

I recently booked a personal shopping appointment at VSP Consignment for a destination wedding with multiple events, and the experience was phenomenal!! Before my appointment, I emailed VSP my vision, preferred colours, brands, and sizing. What Sydney curated for me was beyond my wildest dreams. Every piece she pulled was absolutely perfect and exceeded anything I’d imagined. The biggest problem I had was choosing what to take home because everything fit so beautifully. Sydney was patient, thorough, and completely nailed my vision for wedding guest attire. It truly felt like playing dress-up in the best way possible. The entire VSP team is a delight - warm, kind, stylish and they genuinely care about making their customers feel confident and happy. VSP has always been my favourite shopping experience, but yesterday went above and beyond. I’m thrilled with my purchases and there’s a reason I keep coming back. Outstanding customer service. On August 3, 2025, I purchased a pair of suede desert boots on the VSP Consignment's website. Three days later my purchase was delivered to me by Canada Post. The boots were described as "very good" condition. However I rate the boots as near mint condition as there were no major scuff marks; wore down boot soles; and crease marks that indicate the boots were wore many times by the original owner. VSP Consignment did an outstanding job of keeping me informed and up-to-date via email with the tracking for my purchase. Also the packaging for my boots was handled with care and attention. Thank you for your outstanding service!

I am absolutely thrilled I am with my recent online purchase from VSP. I have purchased pre-loved items for years, and there have been some disappointments when items have arrived in less than desirable condition, despite being graded as a 9/10 by the consignment company. I have to say I have never been so pleasantly surprised with a purchase. The Gucci bag I purchased is immaculate, it was packed so beautifully, with such care, VSP truly goes the extra mile for their customers. Thank you so much for an exceptional experience.

My most recent trip here was extra special! I inquired about pieces for my upcoming wedding, and Astrid from VSP suggested I come in for a shopping appointment. She created the most incredible experience for me! She curated a beautiful selection of white pieces and accessories based on my personal style, and even prepared some delicious refreshments in the private dressing room. Amazing locally baked scones and a beverage! I really appreciated the elevated service that Astrid provided, which I haven’t experienced at VSP before. Her incredible fashion knowledge and positive energy made the experience even better. I would highly recommend booking an appointment for any special occasion, or for personal styling needs!

I’m not one to write reviews… but I’m so pleased with my experience. Violette at VSP found me exactly what I was looking for and then some… I was floored by an additional piece I had no business getting - but did. Violette is kind, quick, and tasteful. As a picky shopper I was quite impressed and convinced to come back just because of this experience. Thank you dearly! xS

Ever since VSP opened many years ago I have been a huge fan! Incredible finds , in fact almost everything I now wear is something I have found there. From everyday casual items to going out for dinner it’s almost the only shop I need I’ve purchased on line and in store everyone is so helpful and thoughtful Would I recommend it? absolutely! It is a most wonderful shopping experience

1 star review from a purchaser. Their staff and overall store is disorganized is an understatement. The first time I went in to buy a pair of jeans I saw online. Tell me why it took 3 people to find the jeans. The first two people I asked never got back to me, just probably hoped I forgot? The last guy was helpful and able to find them. Now the second time going in was a nightmare. Went in for a suit (blazer and pant sold separate). Was able to find the blazer myself but couldn’t find the pants. I asked a guy for help, and after looking around for 20 min he said they’re not there, they’re sold. I told him they’re available on the website, and he said no they sold it takes the system awhile to update. In my mind.. having worked with inventory systems I’m like this is 2025 this isn’t how that works. So I tried my luck and bought the set online after we left empty handed. Entire trip waste of time. SHOCKER they found the pants and I got the pants after buying online. We went to go pick up, yet more of a waste of time since we were fighting traffic there and back. Great selection 5/5 for that, but the staff, organization and logistics here is a nightmare for customers. Pls fix

Great place to shop but consigning with them, not so much. They take too high of a percentage and don't price the items fairly. Consigned a brand new pair of Giuseppe Zanotti sandals with tags and everything included. Regular price was $1450. No longer available anywhere and new season. They priced it at $545 (way too low) then dropped the price to $380 so they could sell it quickly. Mind you they took 50% of the sale. Would never consign with them again. I'll sell privately or on Poshmark.

Great selection of pre owned fashion! Love the vibe of the store and staff are super friendly and picking out some great finds for me to buy!

The merchandise is great. Their rating of condition of the items is very accurate. I was surprised that they were pickier than I am. Highly recommend. The store is a consignment shop but you would think it's a yorkville boutique. Items are well presented

From the outside, it gives a modern and clean aesthetic ...and totally hides the complete high fashion gems that hangs inside on the racks. I had no idea how well curated it would be till I walked in... what I saw immediately was Dior, LV, and Gucci within in the first moments. The wonderful thing, the presentation and quality makes this feel like a store that sells fresh seasonal high end clothes. This is not your mama's consignment store. I arrived early one day and noticed they had a sale. If you ever see a 'sale' sign on the window... just walk in. I'm guaranteed you will be surprised at the prices. You will find perfect condition clothes for fractions of the cost... sometimes at 10% of their retail counterparts. Some of the help here can be cool and aloof... almost judgmental but there are 2 here who clearly have more of that charismatic and warmer touch to make you think you can be regular client. It definitely is one of the best consignment stores in Toronto if not the best.

Hands down the best consignment shop in Toronto. Amazing designer finds here with regular sales. Today I bought a Jason Wu top for $69, a pair of J Band Jeans for $30, and some other lower end items from Club Monaco and Band of Outsiders. If you're looking for a second hand Balenciaga or Chloe bag, or perhaps a really great pair of YSL heels. This is where you should come. This is my absolute favorite boutique in Toronto. It's better than drugs my friends.

I would come here for brands (true designer stuff) you cannot find on places like eBay, or Poshmark Canada (you can use referral code SHERRYISH for a free $10 credit to shop with by the way). Anyway, here, you can find designer brands like Oscar de la Renta Helmut Lang, Dries van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela, Smythe.. you know, brands that are not as mainstream as YSL, Chanel, Prada or Gucci for instance but you'll find them here as well. I saw very few mainstream brands like Club Monaco or Massimo Dutti but they were there. You aren't going to really find Banana Republic or H&M here. Prices are .. pricey. If you are used to thrifting, this is not the place for you, you will get sticker shock. Come in when it is 50% off, and everything that used to be listed at $1000 (think, YSL jackets), are now $500, which is $$$ but a little more palatable especially if you are spoiled by deals like I am now (POSHMARK! LOOK INTO IT.) Everything is in excellent, EXCELLENT condition, pristine and only with a little makeup on the collars from people trying it on. The store is clean, big, bright, nice big changing rooms, a very calming and open space.

This is a great store with great, curated finds at reasonable prices and FANTASTIC sales. I have found many lovely items here at competitive prices. This store will restore your faith in quality clothing in an era of awful fast fashion (the prices are sometimes comparable to new say, H&M, but the quality, absolutely not). The staff is (mostly) truly helpful with genuine interest in style and helping you find the right thing. Only unfortunate thing is that their hours coincide with working hours on most days, so working people might find it hard to access their streetcar location in a retail dead zone. But whatever, it's a worthwhile place for serious stylin peeps!

Amazing selection and amazing staff. There are few consignment shops in the city with the same standards and fashion knowledge as VSP. Similar designers and styles are grouped together so it's easy to shop. The pieces are almost 99% of the time from established designers: Chanel, Givenchy, Rick Owens, Balenciaga, Comme des Garcons, etc... The sales are also out of this world. Items can get discounted from 30-70% off at the end of the season, so definitely worth following on instagram to track down the best time to buy. Staff is very helpful and not too pushy.
