If you're looking for a fancy rooftop bar, look elsewhere. This place has a no nonsense, no dress code atmosphere that is almost surprising when you compare it to other rooftop bars. Drink prices are at $8 a beer, unless it's happy hour. The view is of the Empire State Building ONLY and some old water towers. Big bonus: open year-round. Big minus: single bathroom.

The view is far from spectacular. You get to see the Empire State building from up close but that is pretty much it. This is a small rooftop with a laid back atmosphere. If you want to visit a rooftop to take in some views of the city, you'd be better off with a different Midtown terrace. If you just want to grab a beer and relax, away from the crowds, this place is a solid pick.

Affordable rooftop bar with an incredible view of the Empire State Building. It's the top level of the La Quinta in Korea Town, and you can get there by going into the hotel lobby and taking the elevator to the top floor. They serve a small selection of beer, wine, and liquor. On weekdays, there's often enough space for a large group, so it's a nice place to take a group of 5 or 6 friends. It's not pretentious at all, and that's what really gives this place an edge over other rooftop bars in the area. I've never had to pay a cover, and I've never been harassed. It's a good place to start the night going, and it has easy access to yummy Korean food downstairs. Downsides are that it isn't very large, and you have to sort of crane your neck up to see the building because it is so close to you (that might be a good thing!). The indoor space is small, and the outdoor space is about 4 times as big. The elevator is very slow, so beware. On busy nights a line will start to form in the hotel lobby.

The name is accurate! Has a great view of the Empire State Building. The drink prices are okay and they have specials. I've only been on weekend afternoons, so I don't know what weekday HH is like. It's pretty small so I imagine it gets packed.

I went there for the first time on a Sat night. The two girl bartenders where not good, I ordered a Vodka Club and it was all CLub just about(very little vodka- no why would a bartender do that), the two girl bar tenders didn't seems that professional. The music was not good at all. pretty small area outside, not as nice as it looked on the website. i would not go here again. I gave it one stars just for the view of the Empire State building.

I don't usually go to rooftop bars, but this is probably one of my bars in KTown. It's not that well known, and you have to get in by taking the elevator in the hotel, but it's a small space and somehow it can feel a bit intimate, even though you're probably only 3 feet away from a stranger. Happy hour makes prices reasonable and you can see look up to see the Empire State Building.

This 14th floor rooftop is in the shadow of the Empire State building and is a cozy spot for a drink. Best thing about this place is the location near Herald Square and how easy it is to get too. I was here for a private event that was seriously over crowded so I didn't stay long.

Great place to catch a stunning view of the Empire State. Also there is smoking which a lot of outdoor bars still ban. Perfect place to take someone that is visiting. Oh yeah stick to the beer or cocktails
