Amidst the quietude of a half-filled Nashville food hall, Vui's Kitchen stood as a savory retreat. The tranquil ambiance was only enhanced by our delightful Vietnamese feast, away from the usual clamor of a bustling market space. Each dish, from the fragrant steak pho to the impeccable ribeye bahn mi, was crafted with care, creating a mosaic of flavors that danced on our tongues. The tofu bahn mi offered a lighter, yet equally satisfying alternative, its taste and texture thoughtfully balanced. The grilled wings, dressed in a lively spicy sauce, were a flavor-packed highlight that awakened our taste buds. Sipping on an array of teas, we found comfort in the berry's sweetness and were invigorated by the turmeric citrus' piquant flair. Their quiet excellence reflected the serene setting we dined in. Though the sight of empty booths was a poignant reminder of potential untapped, and the parking fees a slight inconvenience, these details were mere footnotes in the narrative of a lovely meal. In the calm of an unhurried space, Vui's Kitchen served up not just food, but an ensemble of vibrant moments to cherish.

Enjoyed a delicious Meal at Vui's Vietnamese Kitchen in Hunters Station. (A great East Nashville food court!) Robert N. Hoff had Pho Soup. I had their salad with shrimp and avocado. The food was excellent. 😋 😋

Google
Sherri (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) was so kind and made my experience so much better! I went to this location after having a poor food experience at the berry hill location. Sherri had great customer service and my food was night and day compared to what I had before. The pho was bursting with flavor and the bao bun was pretty good. the bun itself isn’t the best I’ve had but pretty good :) if the pho always taste like this, I recommend.

Google
Location is perfect - food is average in contrast to how it is “sold”. I’m not sure you get the depth of flavor that one would expect for “twelve hour bone broth”…the added herbs, along with chili paste, do help. Not bad, but just ok. I think their other locations do a little better in the delivered plate/bowl.

Google
Prime location and a clean space to dine in, I feel the cost to proportion is a little off from traditional Vietnamese food. But it's in the heart of east so you're paying for that. It's not the best I've had but it's not bad flavor wise. The one south of Nashville is better imo and is where I took my fiance on our first date so im eating here once a year regardless 😆 🤣.

Google
I flew down to Nashville for a very quick 3day stay and purposely booked an Airbnb w/in walking distance of Vui's at Hunters station. Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. I ate lunch there all 3 days! I always get the Vui's Bowl w/ noodles and the vegan chili/lime sauce. Both Maricris and Charise(sp?) are supergreat people. Friendly, helpful, professional and NICE! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND eating here! Thanks so much, Vui's!

Ree N.

Google
The pho here always hits the spot! The fresh cilantro, lime and sprouts give a pop of flavor to the richness of the meat and broth. I have never had a bad meal here. The buns are a fan favorite at our house. The buns are fluffy and the filling is the perfect bite.

Danielle

Google
Best vegan pho I've found. Cute food hall in East Nashville. Service was excellent and staff can accommodate vegan requests.

Yelp
Ordered food for delivery right when the store opened. It arrived so quickly and was very fresh! I read other reviews commenting about how the produce was old, but I didn't experience that at all. Everything was the right temperature and the bases of items may have lacked flavor, as expected, but the broths and sauces were explosive and bright. Beef noodle bowl: very large portion. I also ordered with a small bone broth to just put the noodles and beef in the broth with chili oil (the only thing that spilled all in its separate bag). The veggies that came with the bowl I ate separately, like a salad, with chili oil and the dressing - so good!!! I could have done that salad a million times over! The fried scallions and cilantro were so nice. I also ordered a side of mushrooms. They were quickly cooked and not even all the way, I'd probably pass on those in the future. Chicken dumplings: these came in a serving of 4, tossed in chili oil and quite large. The filling was a little on the salty side, but not too much. I still thought they were good. Summer rolls: as imagined they were very fresh, soft and crunchy. The sauce they came with was sweet and spicy, we also added some of the dressing from the noodle bowl. The only thing that would make these perfect is if there was cilantro and sliced avocado inside the roll. Basil limeade: okay, so I was a little unsure about it saying there were chia seeds inside. Was this drink going to be thick, would it be too much? Well I'm here to say it wasn't. There aren't that many and the basil is very muted. But the citrus is right in your face! I personally found it to be much too sweet, but other that that it was a nice limeade.

Sidra S.

Yelp
I had the noodle bowl with chicken and although the flavors were great - I couldn't get past the part where lemongrass filaments were all over my chicken. I believe some of this was chicken filaments in addition to lemon grass filaments. Either way it shows they don't properly prepare their meat or marinades.

Yelp
This is my go to dinner meal. I order takeout 2 to 3 times a week. The past month they've changed their take home box's to a new box that's WAY smaller than the normal larger one. Yet they're still serving the in restaurants meals in the same large bowl. This is definitely just a sneaky way to screw you and save them money. Please return to the normal size boxes.

Jessica F.

Yelp
This was a hard no for me. It sucks to write about how bad something is, but man the chicken dumplings were just a mush of maybe chicken with no flavor and a weird mouth feel. The pho was better, but not the best I've had.

Thomas S.

Yelp
It was fair by group consensus. Parking sucks in Nashville, our parking experience was the first problem (and we were not in a large truck, just a rav4). Then there was the food - it was fair also, nothing exciting. Seating is in a common area where multiple restaurants in the complex share space. Service was at the counter and we had to go get it when it was ready and bus our own tables. Yet, everyone wants tips. Tips are for "SERVICE". If you don't offer any, don't ask for any! We won't be back, and we won't suggest going here to anyone. Especially when they charge as much as they do for fair food!

Ariel B.

Yelp
$18 Steak Pho and this is the amount of poor quality steak that comes with it. Don't waste your money.

Joanna S.

Yelp
Ordered through Uber eats, my ordered was prepared very fast and delivered within 30 minutes - got the chicken rice bowl & cookies. The chicken rice bowl was alright, give it a 3.5 out of 5. The chicken and fried topping was pretty good but the rice tasted stale/old & the daikon and carrots had a really bad after taste - like the carrots were old. The lettuce was brown and not fresh either. The "fish sauce" that it comes with - definitely on the sweeter side and not the OG fish sauce from a real viet restaurant. Chocolate chip cookies... very mid. they were on the crunchy side and were pretty small. Yes, they give you 2 cookies - $1 a cookie. Kind of taste like pre packaged store bought cookies. I would say this place is more of an Americanized Vietnamese restaurant. As someone who lives around Vietnamese cuisine in Houston, this place is super mid. Tried East Side Banh Mi in Nashville my last visit and it was better than this place!

Kimberly S.

Yelp
We had a Vui's here in Germantown and it was consistently good! Cooked to very tender delicious meats, and of course I lived on the pho during cancer. One of their employees even offered to deliver an order to the hospital himself before Vui got really involved with the dash deliveries. They've since left our neighborhood, sadly. We were happy to hear they opened in another neighborhood and offered delivery services! Tried tonight and are absolutely disappointed. Even the pork belly in the bao is inedible - completely overcooked- as are the wings and the dumplings. They taste as if filled with chicken baby food - mush puree. It's not ravioli, it's supposed to have texture. I've made hundreds of dumplings. THIS IS JUST SO SUBPAR FOR Vui's. She needs to know you're neither representing her nor honoring her well. We couldn't even eat what we bought. Very sorry because at one point it was phenomenal and I'd always recommend it to everyone who asked. Tonight, hopefully, is a one time utter failure. I love you guys but holy S... wtf happened tonight? We're chefs too and would like to know our name was attached to such a haphazardly prepared product.

Julian R.

Yelp
I wish I could give this meal more stars but I got food poisoning from this meal. I really think it was the chicken wings. I believe they were undercooked because the wings were pink in the middle in each one. I just assumed they were supposed to made that way. I did like the drink and the sandwich. The staff were super sweet. I'm hesitant to try again given the experience I had.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Was craving some pho while on vacation in Nashville, TN. Found this place in the food court and thought i would give it a try. It was really delicious for shrimp pho made in the south. They gave a lot of shrimp compared to most restaurants I've dined in for pho and that is saying a lot. The bowl was also very big. I would definitely go here again if I come back to visit for some quick pho. Also my sisters bowl looked really good too!

Stacey H.

Yelp
This restaurant has amazing food, fresh, tasty - every single time. The food is beautiful- even the to go meals. The service is fast, employees are great. I treated myself to a birthday lunch Rice bowl with Pork Belly which was absolutely incredible- melt in my mouth. The afternoon was perfect- I sat outside in the sunshine watching the world go by. Don't miss this one. Parking us the biggest challenge but oh-so worth it

Karen C.

Yelp
I was in town visiting my cousin and we had lunch here one day at the Hunter's Station Food Hall. I love the concept of food halls and this was one of the options there. We started with the SUMMER ROLLS: Shrimp, noodles, green leaf lettuce, arugula, carrot, cucumber, fresh mint and scallion, wrapped in soft rice paper. Served with peanut sauce. Nice flavor, lots of fresh veggies, good peanut sauce. My cousin and I both had the NOODLE BOWL with shrimp: Choice of protein, vermicelli rice noodles, green leaf lettuce, arugula, pickled daikon and carrots, cucumber, fresh mint, cilantro, fried shallots, crushed peanuts and scallion oil served with chile lime dressing. I really liked this. Lots of fresh veggies, fresh shrimp. Love the scallion oil on top, along with the peanuts. Very filling. Overall a nice spot for Vietnamese food. I would love to go back to the food hall to check out the other options.

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
The pho was really good! Great both and fresh veggies, but the tofu was supposed to be grilled and it was not cooked at all. Service was fast and the bowl of pho was really big, I had enough leftover for another meal.

Hiubert Z.

Yelp
I was craving Pho on this cold, rainy, gloomy day. I can't say anything about the rest of their food because I only got Pho. IF you really like real, genuine Pho, I don't recommend this place. I usually order beef pho, they only have "steak Pho" the steak was cheap steak, probably palomilla steak and they served me very little steak pieces. They are stingy with the "steak". Every other Pho restaurant has skirt steak, meatballs, brisket as a minimum option. Some others offer oxtail, or another beef cut with bones as an extra price option. Here they only have one option and they don't specify on the menu what cut of steak it is. I was very disappointed! Plus they add the jalapeños, bean sprouts and veggies all in the soup, rather than on the side like all Vietnamese restaurants do. So the bean sprouts were already soggy when I got the soup. If you like your veggies on the side, specify it when ordering here. My wife ordered the steamed dumplings and they were horrible and the size of a quarter each. If you're in a hurry for lunch, sure go ahead and order their Pho, But if you want quality, this is not the place. I like quality Pho that once you taste the broth, you can taste the Love that was put into it. This is not true Vietnamese Pho. This is just my honest 2 cents. I won't be back, neither will I recommend the Pho.

Ryan J.

Yelp
I Love this place! They not only have amazing authentic Vietnamese food, but also have the kindest staff. Especially the Manager Maricris she's very hands on and making sure everything is great . The plating is very appealing in the eye. Would definitely recommend!. Good job Vui's Kitchen Hunters Station!

Maggie M.

Yelp
We were having a stressful day navigating around Nashville and this place was truly a centering oasis. The service was super quick and all the food was absolutely delicious. The workers had excellent and friendly communication and they have a helpful TV board where you can see where your place in line is. I got the bahn mi with pork belly and a side of the bone broth, it was the most delicious bahn mi I've ever had! My girlfriend got the bahn mi with perfectly charred shrimp. We also split the summer rolls which were fresh and delicious with an amazing sauce. We finished our meal with a very tasty, perfectly creamy and not-too-sweet coconut pudding with tapioca pearls. It was my favorite restaurant meal in Nashville so far. Thank you so much Vui!!!!

Gabriel A.

Yelp
The food sucks paid over 100 dollars for what tasted like water with food coloring had to put a stupid amount of sauce to make it even taste good this was probably one of the worst pho restaurants I've ever been to they put more bean sprouts than noodles in my soup can't wait to go back to Houston for some actual good pho maybe the owner should go down there and take some notes on how they make their pho probably the only good thing there was the staff they were nice but still food was pretty bad

Lynndel F.

Yelp
I enjoyed my VEGAN PHO. It had vegan broth with mushrooms and baked tofu, rice noodles, bean sprouts, onions, fresh scallions, cilantro, fried shallots, Thai basil and lime. It was so tasty. I forgot to take a picture because I was enjoying my pho.

Lorrainne S.

Yelp
Excellent delicious healthy food. They give great portion sizes, not too much but just enough to feel satisfied. Tastes delicious with just a hint of spice, but you can add more if you like.

Kali M.

Yelp
I ordered sticky wings and a Vuis bowl (forgot the picture) they were both DELICIOUS! I'm so happy with my food. And the cashier was super kind and helpful. 10/10 highly recommend

Dean R.

Yelp
The environment is that of a food hall with Vui's being one of many vendors present. The food was very good, especially the Bao buns. We did one chicken and one steak. We also had the Beef/Steak Pho and Chicken Banh Mi. Service was good. It was very busy so many people placing orders. So that itself should speak for it popularity. Can't wait to try other items on the menu!

Karen H.

Yelp
Enjoyed a delicious Meal at Vui's Vietnamese Kitchen in Hunters Station. (A great East Nashville food court!) Robert N. Hoff had Pho Soup. I had their salad with shrimp and avocado. The food was excellent.

Jacob S.

Yelp
Why so stingy with the meat water? Container on the left is what a person might expect to be 3/4 full from every pho spot. The one on the right is Vui's. ‍

Rachel G.

Yelp
Have visited since and it was a much better experience!' Hunters Station is an awesome venue! Those dumplings are still on point. I also tried the chicken salad... oh my tastebuds.

Joyce T.

Yelp
All right. A fragrant Pho filled with ingredients that actually filled me but left me feeling light and thinking I ate healthy. There were slices of cooked white onions in this pho that gave it an extra something. Parking is in the back. It's in a food court style set up with in and outdoor seating. One can help themselves to waters and are expected to throw out their post meal items in the appropriate trash receptacle and leave the tray.

Bryan H.

Yelp
My meal was delivered but Uber so I didn't visit the restaurant. I got the Beef Pho, Steamed Edamame Dumplings and the Summer Roll. The Pho came with everything in the bowl and the broth separate. The broth was rich and well made. You can tell it ain't one of those box broths. Some time went into it. The vegetables were all very fresh. The beef was cut in short thick strips. I thought it would be tuff but it really wasn't. The summer rolls were fresh and I really liked the peanut sauce that came with them. It was a little sweeter than most. I put a dab of chili sauce in it to heat it up some. The steamed dumpling were just OK. They were not cooked bad but I had never had them before and they just were not something I was crazy about. They were good enough that I still ate all of them though.

Eliza R.

Yelp
The only item I've tried from this location is the beef Bahn Mi. The very friendly cashier suggested it and I couldn't resist his charm. However, I probably should have gotten chicken or tofu. The sandwich itself wasn't bad (the bread was very fresh) and it's huge - could easily be split. But in all honesty, I didn't care for the excessive oil, which was complete overkill and not that flavorful. Thank goodness the bread was able to sop up some of it and I didn't eat all of the bread. The beef was tender and quite good. Would I go back to order it again? No. Would I recommend it? If you like Bahn Mi and beef, maybe - just ask for the dressing on the side. I will go back to try the Pho at some point, though. As for the location, inside Hunter's Station, it's fine. I love the area and there is plentiful outdoor seating. The parking can be a pain at peak times, but if you're patient, you can score a 15 min spot to get your food to go, which is what I did. Service was great - the cashier really was a charmer.

Trish B.

Yelp
I eat Vui's all of the time! Their Pho does not disappoint! I always need to get the steamed dumplings as well. They come with a spicy oil that is to die for!

Brendan B.

Yelp
Without a doubt the freshest pho I've had Cashier was super cute. She told me about trivia night and didn't judge me for adding double steak. 10/10

Sarah N.

Yelp
This place is great in terms of service and speed. It was perfect as a quick lunch while running errands. But as for the actual pho (I got Vui's Original Pho), it was disappointing. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful pho, this really isn't the place to go. The meat is sparse and the flavor isn't there. There was so much oil, every time I scooped broth you could see a very clear line between the oil and broth and it looked to be 50/50. Overall, the pho isn't something I'd ever order from here again. The broth just did not taste like pho, more like a very plain chicken broth The rest of their menu items look good so I'd be willing to come back to explore those!

Kate D.

Yelp
Pho and vegan/tofu banh mi Pho was delicious. Noodles are perfectly cooked, broth is well balanced (rich + light). Banh mi was not good. They don't use a traditional crusty baguette. It's like a soft bread. Pate was fine.

Jennifer D.

Yelp
I wish I could give a higher rating Ordered the veggie pho + extras online and sadly didn't get the sauce nor broth with my meal. Also - missing a few other ingredients. The chicken in my friend's dish had quite a bit of connecting fat. She wasn't thrilled with it. (Her dog was elated though.) We did get a refund. I threw some soy sauce on my dish and it was ok. I might try them for pickup or eat in, but would skip the delivery.

Food F.

Yelp
So let's start with getting there. It's located in Huntington station other where there are other places to eat as well. Parking is available. I parked at the space that was allotted for takeout (15min). For food I ordered the vegan pho. I do agree that the ingredients were fresh. I think that they also packed it nicely. And they had the farm ready very quickly however, I don't think that the broth was super flavorful. It is hard to do vegan pho, but I think the broth was lacking and disappointing. The additions onto the pho were fantastic. They added fried onions in too which was a nice treat and aroma was great. I had plenty of tofu and mushrooms. My takeout was packaged nicely and included a soup spoon along with cutlery and sriracha and hoisin packets EXCEPT for chopsticks! So make sure to grab that. Other than that it was priced normal for the area. I'd try it if you're really craving it, but honestly I was a bit disappointed. I'm used to an ethnic palate but it's like they're trying to fool us with bland view pho, ..So can't really recommend. Final rating 3.5 only cuz ambiance, service parking and everything else elevates it. Service was nice :) Oh and the ambiance is hipsteresque. A place where you'll find young adults spending 15-20 on their lunch lol

Kristi F.

Yelp
They've changed their chicken. It used to taste fresh with a grilled char, and the last several times, it has been fatty and weird - looks and tastes like canned chicken with fat connecting the pieces. I guess they aren't trimming and throwing straight into a marinade giving it a canned effect. The vegetables sauce and limeade are still fabulous.

Annie M.

Yelp
We had a great experience at Vuis! I will say this was our first time having Vietnamese but we thought it was amazing! I had the pho which had amazing flavor and was packed with noodles and veggies. My husband got the pork belly bahn mi and really loved it! Will def be back

Paul D.

Yelp
Great food. Funky Attitude... But mostly great food. We walked in and looked at the menu on the wall. Everything looked great. My wife told me she wanted phō. I told her that I think it's pronounced faw. We decided to split that and try the lettuce wraps since the pho bowls were huge. We ordered, and my wife politely asked the guy taking our order if it was pho or faw. He went full teenager on us, and let out an exasperated sigh followed by what sounded like Fuh under his breath? I'm guessing he gets asked this question a LOT and has had it up to here. Whatevs. We're just here for the food, and I happen to LOVE awkward interactions. Gave us something to talk about at the table. After finding a nice table outside, we received our lettuce wraps within minutes. OHmazing! Really. So freakin good. Then our pho came out right after that. Also very good. The people who brought our food out were super nice. It definitely made up for the weirdness at checkout.

Bee R.

Yelp
I snagged lunch togo last week for myself and the crew and we had a truly lovely meal. We had the edamame potstickers (much better than expected), two pork belly bao (soooo well seasoned!), a pork belly banh mì, and the one of the noodle bowls (so fresh, so saucey). It was absolutely stunning and the portions were generous. I would love to visit again next time I'm in Nashville. Highly recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Stephanie V.

Yelp
1.5/5 Gosh I hate giving them two stars, but the bowl I ordered was just so plain and had like 5 strings (not even chunks) of chicken. No flavor. Is this how a pho bowl normally is? They advertise a 12 hour bone broth and fresh herbs...but man was it just flavorless liquid with noodles. I could've made this at home. They have 3 sauces you can add to it, but why would I add sauce to this? Shouldn't it already have flavor? The presentation of the new location is beautiful and the staff were pleasant...but gosh am I just having a hard time finding the appeal of a flavorless bowl of pho. Giving them 2 instead of 1 because maybe the other dishes are better. Will adjust accordingly with future visits.

John D.

Yelp
This olace could crank out an OK Banh Mi....but the bread is horrible!!! They use a soft hot dog bun which instantly dissolves in your hands. Banh Mi are made with a crunchy, chewy baguette, ideally made with rice flour. Huge dissappointment! My wife is Vietnamese and wher I live ghere is a large population with very good Banh Mi. I will say the pate they used was quite good...

Elysia S.

Yelp
I can't with VIU's anymore. I always try to be positive and not leave bad reviews, but I've ordered from them 6 times in the past couple of months and my order was only correct 1 time. I have the genetic predisposition to cilantro tasting like soap/aluminum and I ask for NO CILANTRO on anything I order. I try to order items that don't come with cilantro but they somehow put it on anyway, even when I tell them I can't have it. It's not like I just don't like it, it actually ruins the meal and it becomes the only thing I can taste. I wish I loved it but it's not possible. I've wasted hundreds of dollars on this place. Even today she said "If it doesn't come with cilantro I still write it because I know people don't like it" and yet the kitchen still puts it on. The bites I've had around the cilantro are amazing and when they got it right it was great. I think 5 times is the charm. I'm done.

TLeah E.

Yelp
I ordered a beef Bahn mi. I was disappointed because it didn't taste right. Not sure if it was the sauce or the meat.

Sunny S.

Yelp
Wonderful fresh clean food and amazing coconut pudding and the best cold brew ever!!!

brandi r.

Yelp
Was sick and this food made me feel full of nutrition. Fresh , clean, and so tasty. Good value for portion sizes

Meredith S.

Yelp
Love their food. Super fast and quick service. Quality product and great flavor. I love their bao buns and dumplings. Great curbside pickup option. I will continue to support this great quick food option in the heart of East Nashville.

Cole T.

Yelp
I don't think i can give this place a bad rating since I only got the cold brew. With that being said, for Vietnamese coffee lovers out there, this is NOT the spot. Personal Notes: Vietnamese Cold Brew 5/10

Jess R.

Yelp
First time trying bahn mi! The flavor of the chicken was UNREAL. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The vegetables were great. I wasn't a huge fan of the pate and I wish the bread was crispier (more of a baguette). The edamame dumplings were also good. The chili sauce it came in had a strong kick! Would come back and try something else!

Amelia S.

Yelp
Best bao buns ever. The pork belly was so tender and the Mahn hi was so flavorful. One of the best Vietnamese places I've been to in Nashville! The service was so quick as well, which was nice.

Nik D.

Yelp
I hate writing a luke warm review like this because honestly, Vui's in both Berry Hill and Germantown are two of my favorite eateries in Nashville. But unfortunately, the new location in East Nashville is really missing the mark. Twice I have tried eating there and both times I have gotten two of my fav dishes - the bahn mi and the tofu rice bowl. And both times the tofu has had a really nasty burned flavor to it. So much so that it has completely ruined the entire meal. Also, the rice in the bowl was very undercooked and stone cold. Not sure if the new location is just having issues transitioning, and suffering from growing pains, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to give it another chance. I'm still a big fan of Vui's, just not the East Nashville location.

David L.

Yelp
Really good Vietnamese noodle shop. Good quality. Nice portions. Well prepared and fresh. One of my new fav "go to" places.
