Vultures

I recently had the chance to check out Vultures, and I have to say I really enjoyed my time there. It’s such a cool spot with a great vibe, and the live music absolutely made the night. The band I caught was incredible—high energy, fun, and the perfect atmosphere for a night out. Even though I only got to experience the last 45 minutes of the show, it was still worth it. The drinks were very reasonably priced, which is always a plus. It’s nice to find a bar that has good cocktails and beer options without overcharging. The bartenders were quick, friendly, and made the experience that much better. One thing that was a little disappointing was the cover charge. It was $10 to get in, even though the show was almost over. I completely understand paying a cover for live music—it supports the artists and the venue—but I think it would be fair to have a reduced price for guests coming in during the last hour before closing. That said, it didn’t ruin the experience for me. Overall, Vultures is a spot I would definitely come back to. Between the atmosphere, the music, and the drinks, it’s a fun bar that feels worth visiting again. Next time, I’ll just make sure to arrive earlier to get the full experience.

I’m probably being biased here but my son has been performing here for several years about every 2 to 3 months. I love the atmosphere and of course the entertainment (wink wink)! But I have to highlight the staff and the FOOD!! Oh my Gawd! They have Chicago Italian beef sandwiches that are so tasty!! And the fries bring back memories from childhood, they just taste so good. I can’t say enough good things. Always love going there to see my son, CosRoy perform and all of his friends and others performing as well. OTS 😍

Saw Unwed Sailor here. The sound was surprisingly better than most places. So good the headliner mentioned it. Fair pricing. Comfortable environment. I don't drink and I enjoyed the show/ didn't feel weird for being there for a band. I honestly could have gone by myself and felt fine. My spouse enjoyed it, though. We were glad we made the decision to see the incredible band last minute. Liked it so much ( maybe my third time in), I decided to start going to the open mic nights ( when I can)

Had a blast seeing one of my favorite bands at this venue! Small club/ dive bar. Aspen and the other bartender were awesome - friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and warm/welcoming. Other employees at this establishment were great and approachable as well. Bathrooms were clean. Performance was awesome. I’d definitely come here for another show or for karaoke night, which I believe happens on Thursdays! Drinks aren’t too expensive and very delicious. Eat before you come, though. Only 3-4 food options (like pizza, cup of noodles, and ultimate grilled cheese).

New favorite bar / music venue in Colorado Springs. From the bouncer to the bartender the vibes are immaculate. I was a tag along with my sister and didn’t know the bands, but I was impressed — they were AMAZING. The place is exactly what you want from a bar that has good hot dogs and great bands. Fair prices. Walls plastered with old posters and knickknacks (peep the tiny skateboard and the disco ball). Great people. And also has the best fries ever?! It’s a one in a million. I’m so glad I was introduced to this place.

Quaint and fantastic little dive bar! Plenty of parking outside, two entrances. Such great vibes. The staff is very attentive and extremely friendly. They were on top of the bathrooms, food was quick and yummy, drinks were great as well. Will definitely be making this spot a staple. Just a small recommendation to update website food menu to show awesome new foods.

This kind of venue is just what the Springs needed. It's so cool to be able to see a wife variety of indie acts in a safe and inclusive space. Plus the staff is awesome and we really feel welcome. Love this place

Smaller music venue but a perfect atmosphere. I called ahead prior to a concert to see if they had seating since i was being my young son. They went out if their way to provide a private table so he could enjoy the concert. Amazing people! Thank you!

Vultures is the best kept secret! Tuesdays are especially the best because that's Taco Tuesday and they seriously have the best tacos in town! Aspen and Mike are the best. Emily and Evan are amazing and you can't help but love this hidden gem!

01/2022: Stopped at Vultures to get a beer and snack before a show at The Black Sheep last night. We were expecting it to be a little dive with all fried bar food. Nope, we were wrong!! They are throwing down in that little kitchen, I had no idea!! My friends got gourmet ham & brie and Italian paninis with house chips. I just ordered a small chef's choice charcuterie board for like $12 which everyone snacked on & I still got full!! They have three different board sizes to choose from! It was so good that this will definitely become our pre-show ritual.

Went here for the first time last night and loved the atmosphere, loved the bartenders, but above all else I LOVED the Italian beef sandwich!!! I wish I had gotten a pic but I was busy devouring it! You could up your price to $18 (but please don't!!) for the half and I'd gladly pay it! So packed with delish meat and the bread was perfect, well done!! please keep this a staple on your menu, I'll gladly drive an hour from home to eat it! Also, your karaoke guy is hilarious!

Taco night is THE BOMB! Ask for Aspen!!!!!!! Great company and bands!

Fantastic dive with great live music. They often have good deals on drinks specials.

Holy shoot was this place amazing. Not only did I have amazing service from Christian and Kylie but I also had amazing drinks. Probably because of them. Food was fantastic as well. Ten times better than The angry pirate.

Cozy little spot with live music and a dreamy, christmas light covered ceiling! Cocktails were very tasty, food was delicious (I got the spinach and bacon mac n cheese per the bartender's recommendation and it did not disappoint!), and the staff was awesome - helpful and super friendly. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Colorado Springs!
