Vultures

We contacted this venue for a large, private event and they took care of us so much!! There's no kitchen running currently, but they helped us arrange a great food truck. The decorations are cool, the staff are top-notch. The sound system and their provided engineer also awesome. They helped us set up tables how we wanted and additional decorations. And prices are great. Ask for Aspen - she's so nice and helpful! We are going to more shows here now!!

Awesome dive - good place to see live shows! Staff is super friendly, and their patio has a postcard view of the sunset. A true gem for the punk community.

I recently had the chance to check out Vultures, and I have to say I really enjoyed my time there. It’s such a cool spot with a great vibe, and the live music absolutely made the night. The band I caught was incredible—high energy, fun, and the perfect atmosphere for a night out. Even though I only got to experience the last 45 minutes of the show, it was still worth it. The drinks were very reasonably priced, which is always a plus. It’s nice to find a bar that has good cocktails and beer options without overcharging. The bartenders were quick, friendly, and made the experience that much better. One thing that was a little disappointing was the cover charge. It was $10 to get in, even though the show was almost over. I completely understand paying a cover for live music—it supports the artists and the venue—but I think it would be fair to have a reduced price for guests coming in during the last hour before closing. That said, it didn’t ruin the experience for me. Overall, Vultures is a spot I would definitely come back to. Between the atmosphere, the music, and the drinks, it’s a fun bar that feels worth visiting again. Next time, I’ll just make sure to arrive earlier to get the full experience.

Had a blast seeing one of my favorite bands at this venue! Small club/ dive bar. Aspen and the other bartender were awesome - friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and warm/welcoming. Other employees at this establishment were great and approachable as well. Bathrooms were clean. Performance was awesome. I’d definitely come here for another show or for karaoke night, which I believe happens on Thursdays! Drinks aren’t too expensive and very delicious. Eat before you come, though. Only 3-4 food options (like pizza, cup of noodles, and ultimate grilled cheese).

A favorite in this city. It's cozy, clean and just has a good feel being inside there - perfectly lit - amazing sound for a live show (and karaoke getting to sing on that same stage)! Kind owner-bartenders, good people and a fun place to visit for a while.

I’m probably being biased here but my son has been performing here for several years about every 2 to 3 months. I love the atmosphere and of course the entertainment (wink wink)! But I have to highlight the staff and the FOOD!! Oh my Gawd! They have Chicago Italian beef sandwiches that are so tasty!! And the fries bring back memories from childhood, they just taste so good. I can’t say enough good things. Always love going there to see my son, CosRoy perform and all of his friends and others performing as well. OTS 😍

The new owners would t let my friend into the show because said friend had organized a boycott of a different venue owned by a domestic violence perpetrator. Not a good look. Definitely will be boycotting, and that's a shame. Used to be a great spot.

Vultures is the best kept secret! Tuesdays are especially the best because that's Taco Tuesday and they seriously have the best tacos in town! Aspen and Mike are the best. Emily and Evan are amazing and you can't help but love this hidden gem!

01/2022: Stopped at Vultures to get a beer and snack before a show at The Black Sheep last night. We were expecting it to be a little dive with all fried bar food. Nope, we were wrong!! They are throwing down in that little kitchen, I had no idea!! My friends got gourmet ham & brie and Italian paninis with house chips. I just ordered a small chef's choice charcuterie board for like $12 which everyone snacked on & I still got full!! They have three different board sizes to choose from! It was so good that this will definitely become our pre-show ritual.

Went here for the first time last night and loved the atmosphere, loved the bartenders, but above all else I LOVED the Italian beef sandwich!!! I wish I had gotten a pic but I was busy devouring it! You could up your price to $18 (but please don't!!) for the half and I'd gladly pay it! So packed with delish meat and the bread was perfect, well done!! please keep this a staple on your menu, I'll gladly drive an hour from home to eat it! Also, your karaoke guy is hilarious!

Fantastic dive with great live music. They often have good deals on drinks specials.

Holy shoot was this place amazing. Not only did I have amazing service from Christian and Kylie but I also had amazing drinks. Probably because of them. Food was fantastic as well. Ten times better than The angry pirate.

Cozy little spot with live music and a dreamy, christmas light covered ceiling! Cocktails were very tasty, food was delicious (I got the spinach and bacon mac n cheese per the bartender's recommendation and it did not disappoint!), and the staff was awesome - helpful and super friendly. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Colorado Springs!
