Stopped in on a whim with a couple friends on a Friday night and Q took the BEST care of us!! The vibe was right af. Cozy and sexy at the same time🪩❤️‍🔥. Tried the Grinch drink from their Winter Wonderland menu and it was delicious💚!!! Will definitely be back for future events.

Vye Cocktail Lounge offers some of the best rooftop views in the city. The bartenders were friendly and made sure we enjoyed every part of our visit. We sipped margaritas as the sunset hit, taking full advantage of the last few warm weather days. The vibe was relaxed, the drinks were on point, and the setting made it feel special. I hope they bring in igloos for the colder months because this would be an incredible spot to enjoy all year round.

First off, we made a reservation which was a waste of money. There was a total of 3 people in the place. The drinks were awful, especially for a place that’s suppose to specialize in cocktails. My old fashioned wasn’t even close to being an old fashioned. To top it off they were out of oranges and used a frosted ice cube. Yes, I want clear ice in my cocktails. If you are wanting specialty cocktails this is definitely not the spot. It was big let down for us! We expected so much more.

Great cocktails, great service. Low key lounge, perfect spot to get the night started and not too far from a streetcar stop.

Very cute. We had reservations for the rooftop but due to weather we went downstairs to the first floor bar. Mango the bartender was top tier! He made me some killer mock tails. Would recommend!

Rooftop was horrible. Would give 0 if I could. We ordered a margarita, espresso martini, and mule and it was the worst drinks we’ve all had before. Great space and has potential but they have to fix the drinks on the rooftop.

Don't actually need to pay for a reservation to get access to rooftop. We showed up on Saturday at 10:45PM (with an 11PM reservation for 2 people) and weren't even asked for our reservation/info to get to rooftop. I also emailed about a week in advance to see if they could do something special for a friends birthday (table card and/or drink or something) to which i never got an email response back. We still showed up, but were disappointed and with no tables available we opted to leave and not stay. To bad, won't be back.

Very cute , chill and relaxed cocktail lounge, came here with a group of friends to by some time. We had reservations at a near by and decided to grab come drinks while we waited. They have two sitting area options as well as the bar area. My friends and I decided to sit in one of the sitting areas and I'm glad we did. It was more of a cozy feel. The drink menu had plenty of options to choose from, I went with the lavender lemon drop. 10/10 I definitely recommend giving this place a try, I'll be back for sure. They also have private rooms available for an event. There was a private party going on while I was there.

I was quite satisfied with the drink menu & the view on the roof top. This place has some really good potential, but the ambiance was disappointing. The music was outdated, random, & didn't match the vibe of the bar. The lighting inside was too bright for this type of atmosphere. One bartender was amazing, the other was hanging out with his friends & smoking & not even at the bar most of the time, which felt very unprofessional for a place with $15 cocktails.

Here's the thing, sometimes places are getting their stuff together, sometimes they fumble? And sometimes they have amazing employees that pick up the fumble and absolutely knock it out of the park! This place has those employees! The bartenders are going to make you feel super at home, the drinks are perfect!! And the rooftop view is perfect! This absolutely has to be a stop for anybody visiting Kansas City! Becca and Joe keep killing it!!

I hadn't been here before, but saw great reviews! We stopped here after dinner at Farina and it was great! The bartender was fantastic and they are in the process of opening their rooftop bar. We took a peek and it was amazing overlooking downtown KC. The drinks were fantastic (they have Bumbu rum...best ever). We didn't have any food, but the service was really great and felt like a great local bar that will be a frequent stop for us. They even had some live music starting that sounded great. Can't wait to go back!

Came here on a Saturday night for drinks before dinner. Patio and upstairs were reserved for a wedding so sat at the bar for some drinks. Great atmosphere and great service.

Lively cocktail lounge on a Saturday night with a DJ and bartenders who know what they are doing. Music genre was not my usual style but it was fun. Limited seating at the bar area unless you have reservations... if you are okay coming in early or standing around hoping a seat opens up... it's a chance. But if you are in a group- best consider a reservation.

Second time visiting Vye and again had a great experience. I had two expresso martinis that were perfect. Bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable. We came for the roof top, but decided to stay seated in the cocktail area, which gives a dark academia vibe.

The food was amazing. Service at first was really slow. Took 20 minutes for service to greet us. But once we FINALLY placed our order, the food arrived. They just need to work on acknowledging guests have been seated. Even a "Hi I will be with you soon". They were not even busy. But cinnamon roll was worth it. Over medium eggs came out with undercooked, runny whites.

This week I checked out Vye Cocktail Lounge . If you are looking for a good cocktail with a great view this place is good spot. The interior was very nice and the service was really good . My only complaint is that when you visit the rooftop bar the menu is different. I was not able to order the any signature cocktails , only standard mixed drinks . Which the pricing is about the same for a regular margarita offered on the roof vs a signature drink down stairs . Just an fyi , this spot offers drinks only no small appetizers or snacks .

Vye has the Views! If you are looking for a spectacular view of some KC landmarks, you must check out the rooftop of Vye. Located at the edge of Crossroads on Main, near Union Station, Vye recently opened and is buzzing with energy. The general manager, bartenders, and staff are friendly and seem present and active in the business. The cocktails downstairs are notably different from what's served at the rooftop bar so, if you are looking for a fancier cocktail I would suggest ordering one at the bar on the first floor and taking it upstairs to soak up the scenery. Since it's outdoors, however, the more expensive "craft" cocktails will be served in plastic cups, which can be off-putting for a $15 beverage, but I understand the concern. I went with the Main Street 75, since gin based cocktails are my go-to for the hotter months, and I love a good French 75. This one was notably sweeter, maybe from the raspberry Chambord, but it was crisp and light, which made it a great drink to imbibe outside. I'm just used to mine having more of citrus kick instead of that sweetness. Also, it could have been that I'm used to it being made with a different type of gin other than Bombay, it seemed like they were out of the original botanical gin that was listed on the drink menu. But, it was still a well-balanced and well-made drink. However, next time, I'll probably take the recommendation of the sidecar. For the steep price of $15, I better be getting something special, and here it's for sure the views of the city skyline at night. Once you take the elevator upstairs, from the main bar, you can see the Kauffman Center, the Western Auto sign, and the lit up ferris wheel! It's truly breathtaking and a great Instagram photo opportunity. It was definitely lively for a Friday night (around 10pm) but it wasn't overly crowded or loud. You could sit comfortably and enjoy the fresh air, fabulous views, and friendly conversation. The volume of music was just right, and it wasn't overly aggressive, I liked the rhythmic Latin vibes. Now, just to be clear, there is a bar upstairs. However, it only serves basic mixed drinks, and I'm not sure about beer/wine. I don't think those are offered at all outside, but I could be wrong. Drink prices at this bar are undoubtedly lower than the downstairs bar. Also to note, the inside bar is open till 1:30 in relation to the outdoor bar and rooftop space that is only open till midnight. Another thing, I do not think any food is served at all, so, hopefully, in the future, we'll see some charcuterie or some basic appetizers or pop-ups with local businesses.

Came here for a drink on First Friday before dinner. Great, chill atmosphere and excellent drinks. Definitely a must stop for anyone hanging out in the Crossroads!

Cute venue and nice location with rooftop views. The drinks were between $12-$17 and pretty good. The service could've been better it took over 30min to get a drink on a Wednesday around happy hour and it was not busy.

Adorable new bar on Main. Dropped by without realizing how new it is. Drinks were solid and it's worth a return visit!

What an amazing cocktail lounge!! Our family of 7 stopped in this past Sunday afternoon. We were welcomed by the staff immediately and were very pleased with the drink menu. The drinks were fantastic and beautiful... Our favorites were the Aviation, Blackberry Sour and the maple old fashioned. The space is decorated well and comfortable. Our service was impeccable!! We will be coming back next visit to KC!

Great new cocktail bar just down the street from the Freight House. Amazing view from the rooftop deck!

Drinks were very good and the service was very nice but they had Fox News on so I won't be back.

Vye is probably the coolest bar in KC! The ambience is amazing and the staff are great! I would recommend 1000%. I'll definitely be back!

Stopped in here on a Sunday, what a great place. Vye is still a work in progress, but what they having going on right now is great. The staff was fun to visit with and the drinks were amazing. I feel like the vibe in the lounge is upscale without the upscale prices. Went to the roof top to take a look before they officially opened the bar for the day. They views are amazing and will be a great place to relax on a summer night. Can't wait to see the final product for Vye Cocktail Lounge.

Everything was from phenomenal from top to bottom. The drinks were a great price, the service was excellent, and best of all was able to meet the owners. I will definitely be back on my next trip to KC

This bar has the same view as other rooftop bars around it, they have live music and class. this bar has a Spotify playlist on old speakers that is playing old r&b. the people who are at the bar are not upper class, and the seating is limited. not impressed.
