Vygie - Review - Wellington - Cape Town - The Infatuation
"If you’re craving a lazy weekend lunch where you can kick off your shoes and sit on the grass, head to Vygie in Wellington, a farm-style restaurant set on a sprawling property on the edge of a nature reserve. Diners are seated outside at wooden tables dotted around the lawn, with large plates of homestyle food spread between them: think roasted chicken pie, mash with burnt sage butter, and fig salad with fior di latte. Icy wine buckets are filled with bottles of labeless wine, and by the end of the meal, most people will have moved onto the grass, glasses of wine in-hand." - Mary Holland
