We recently stayed at the W in Melbourne, but after returning to the W Brisbane a few weeks ago for my sister’s birthday ladies trip, I realised just how much I love this location. While the Melbourne hotel has its charm, Brisbane feels far more inviting and relaxed in comparison.
Everything about the stay was memorable. The rooms are beautifully styled, and the ambiance throughout the hotel is vibrant yet calming which is a nice blend.
The staff were incredible - genuinely warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Every interaction felt positive, and it really lifted the whole experience.
The pool is great, although it can get a bit noisy with kids around. As a mum myself, I completely understand. But perhaps a designated adults-only hour could offer a more peaceful option for those wanting to unwind fully.
The spa is one of the highlights - so peaceful, with wonderfully warm pools that really helped ease my body after a long day. One small issue was the slippery floors. I did have a fall, and later learned the hotel slippers aren’t suitable for the spa area - something that should ideally be mentioned beforehand. Thankfully, I wasn’t badly hurt, and the lovely spa staff member Elena was kind enough to assist me and checked in later to make sure I was okay, which I really appreciated.
Overall, this hotel continues to impress me. It’s inviting, vibrant, and effortlessly relaxing. The team here do a fantastic job, and I’d happily return again. It’s a place that leaves you feeling looked after and recharged.
