W Brisbane

Great hotel, amazing views, convenient location in the heart of the city. Friendly staff and great service upon our arrival. Our room was on level 33, great views from the restaurants in the building. Clean and comfortable bed, walk-in shower and bath, very spacious and funky/modern. The Lex was great for us for NYE with Ruinart champagne (blanc de blanc) bottle to indulge 🥂 more romantic atmosphere with a balcony overlooking the Southbank and river. Very convenient to Queen Street Mall, public transports and walkways around Brisbane city. Highly recommend staying there.

Absolutely beautiful — I absolutely love it here! The reception was 5-star. The lady at the front desk was so lovely, welcoming, friendly, and really represented the hotel well. She was also very kind and chatty. The rooms are beautiful — I enjoyed every inch of the room 🙂 The room service was excellent and the food was brought up professionally. I even loved the breakfast 😋I look forward to coming back, hopefully for 3–4 days next time! I also love the location — it’s walking distance to everything, with attractions nearby. And the views from every corner of the hotel are just stunning. Highly recommend!

The location, service and location are all incredible. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in the world, especially since Matcha is included along with fresh squeezed juice and fresh made daily bagels. Phoebe who checked us in exemplified customer service. She was beyond genuinely excited for our recent engagement and went above and beyond. She had a warmth and welcome that I haven't experienced at a front desk in a long time. She needs to teach customer service to other hotels. We also got a very generous upgrade to a suite. The only area that could use some improvement was the pool food. It was okay but subpar compared to the rest of the hotel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ W Brisbane Stayed here recently and honestly had a fantastic experience. I booked a Spectacular King Room with River View (around $589 for the night) and it absolutely delivered. The view over the Brisbane River is unreal — especially in the afternoon and evening when the city lights come on. Easily one of the better river outlooks in the CBD. The room itself was spotless, well laid out and felt genuinely premium without being over the top. Everything worked, everything was clean, and the space felt calm and considered — exactly what you want after a long day. What really stood out though was the staff. Every interaction was smooth, friendly and professional. No forced niceties, no attitude — just good, confident hospitality. It’s clear the team is well trained and supported, and it shows in how effortlessly the hotel runs. Check-in and check-out were seamless, the building is in a great spot on North Quay, and the whole experience felt easy and well managed from start to finish. This is a very well-run hotel with a strong team behind it. I’d happily stay again and would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality Brisbane stay with a great view.

I tell everyone about this hotel. We stayed for a staycation for our elopement in the city in September. We did not expect to have such an amazing time. The team surprised us with balloons, chocolate, and champagne in the room when we came back. They also upgraded our room for free. It was so thoughtful and surprising. Everyone was kind and polite. The facilities were incredible. We enjoyed the Wet Deck and spa facilities. We also really loved buffet breakfast. The decor of the hotel is adventurous and the artistic choices are unique. This is the best hotel I've been to (which includes other countries) and I have such fond memories here.

We wanted to visit here because we visited the fabulous W Hotel in Kuala Lumpur and thought it may be cool to compare them. In terms of location, absolutely stunning, with views across the Brisbane River and the city. The Wet Deck has got a lovely relaxed and comfortable vibe and we could have stayed there all day. The DJ played some cool tunes too to add to the ambience. Service in both places was absolutely wonderful. Cannot fault either place. Big shout out to the wonderful Water, a team member who gave us a lovely, warm welcome and went out of her way to be helpful 😀 She is a true asset to the hotel and we will definitely be going back and hope to see her again. The Japanese lager, Kirin Ichiban, was served in an ice- cold glass and is now on the fave list. Only one minor suggestion might be to have a wider nibbles selection on the menu for those not ready for a full meal but wanting a little bite to eat. Highly recommended.

What an amazing start to my East Coast Road Trip. I spent Christmas at W Brisbane, arriving on Christmas Eve and staying for 2 nights. The hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities - swimming pool, spa, lounge, dining area with city views, a well stocked gym with a range of free weights and machines. They provided a fantastic breakfast with a large selection of hot and cold food. The menu was varied and catered for my dietary requirements (gluten & dairy free). Staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was beautiful, spacious and well stocked with all the amenities. The hotel is situated along the Brisbane River close to the Botanical Gardens with many beautiful walks along the riverbank. On Boxing Day I hired a car to make my way down the East Coast - hire car access was easy and a short walk into town. I would highly recommend this hotel.
