W Changsha

The room was large, clean, and had a luxurious feel—overall, very impressive. I especially appreciated the Dyson hairdryer provided in the room. The hotel is conveniently connected to a mall, which made shopping and dining easy. Also, I really liked their conditioner—it was a standout among the amenities.

The W Changsha is perfectly situation above the Yunda shopping centre with loads of shops and resturants including haidilao, Mcdonalds, Starbucks, luckin coffee and 100s more. The best part is the hotel / shopping centre has a direct walkway to the metro station changsha avenue (Line 2) so you can go from your room all the way to 5-1 road 五一路 without stepping outside in the rain or extream heat in the summer. Changsha is am amazing city and this is probably the best hotel.The location is brilliant for those who are looking to access the high speed train station or airport. It is a little far from the downtown area but it's just 20 minutes on the metro and I prefer being slightly seperate from the hustle and bustleThe gym, pool and bar are epic and there is house music playing everywhere from the moment you walk through the door. Older more traditional business travelers may prefer the St Regis next door. 9/10

Guests here are not looking for a usual luxury hotel experience. At W, you can expect to be entertained/amused or both. The property is done to great detail with eclectic personaility. W Changsha has one of the most pretty bars I have seen at any W, although it was a pity that the crowd was pretty non-existent when I was there even though it was 七夕。||Service is top notch and the buffet breakfast is worth waking up for. There is a mall situated within the hotel which although have limited shopping options, offer good amenities such as 费大厨，河马鲜生。

A good experience in W Changsa. The service here is amazing especially counter staff Cici & Lily are very helpful. They help me to extend my check out time and very efficient. I will come back again this hotel!

I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities. It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute! The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log. Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.)The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place. The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable.Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great. Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city. Definitely recommend staying here! This W Hotel flawlessly combines luxury, sophistication, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a standout hotel.

The room is really nice and comfy. The breakfast is very delicious with lots of options. The swimming pool has a sauna and steam room. I think the location in Changsha is very good because it is not too busy during the national holiday and it is close to Changshanan station. You can get anywhere in the city you want very quickly and there is a metro station beside the hotel. There are a lot of staff here who are very helpful and speak English very well ~ Stacy is very nice at the front desk.
