15 Standout Sushi Restaurants in Orlando

"WA exposed the sleepy bedroom community of Casselberry to a refined sushi-going experience, and the rest of Orlando quickly took notice. WA closed its original location in 2020 but reopened in a new strip-mall space in Casselberry, serving the same high-end ingredients from bluefin toro tartare and deep-fried Hiroshima oysters to A5 wagyu and seasonal firefly squid. The menu of daily specials never fails to intrigue." - Faiyaz Kara

Google
The food was amazing!! Everything tasted exactly as it should, and the sushi rice (which is so often overlooked) was perfectly made and seasoned. The fish was fresh and served at the right temperature. Their servings are Japanese sized, which is exactly what I was looking for, but if you’re used to American sized servings, you might have to adjust your expectations. Service was a little slow during peak lunch hours, and it took 20-30 mins for us to get our food, but it wasn’t a very big deal.

Google
My favorite sushi spot! Not only is the food AMAZING, the service is top tier as well. Emma is always friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and always has great recommendations. When I tell you this is the freshest sushi, believe me. The guys behind the bar make everything with love so the food will always come out delicious. Also, for the best experience, sit at the bar! 10/10 and beyond!

Google
We've been coming to Wa Sushi over the years( including when they were in their old location in Casselberry). This is one of the few sushi places that we can generally count on having Uni on the menu. We go out to eat a lot, and we're always on the lookout for great sushi restaurants. Wa Sushi is our go-to restaurant for good Asain food, and we come back numerous times each year. They're celebrating their 10 year anniversary, so you know they're doing things right. They used to have a great stout beer in the old location, and we wish they'd get that one back on the menu again. Keep up the great work, Wa Sushi, and we'll see you next time!

If you find yourself near the Casselberry, FL area, make sure to swing by Wa Sushi, a modern Japanese gem that’s tucked away in a strip mall. I know, strip mall sushi might not sound appealing at first, but trust me—don’t judge this book by its cover! Once you step inside, you’ll find a cozy and relaxed ambiance that’s perfect for a romantic dinner date or a fun night catching up with friends over delicious food. The menu is an amazing mix of classic dishes and innovative fusion cuisine. I had the pleasure of trying their bluefin tuna sashimi, and at just $2 per piece, it was a steal! The freshness was out of this world; each slice was served at the perfect temperature, allowing the flavor to shine through. And let’s talk about the sushi rice—it was spot on, seasoned just right, which is often overlooked but crucial for a great sushi experience. Definitely don’t miss the Amazing Land & Sea roll; it’s a crowd-pleaser with layers of flavors that will make your taste buds dance. The presentation is also worth mentioning—sashimi garnished with edible flowers? Pure art on a plate! While the service was a bit slow during peak hours (we waited Japane10-20 minutes for our food), the quality of the dishes made the wait absolutely worthwhile. If you’re someone who gets impatient when it comes to receiving your food, you might want to hit up an all-you-can-eat spot instead. But for those who appreciate great food, this food is well worth the wait. Oh, and if you can, sit at the bar! It’s where the magic happens, and you can really see the love and care the chefs put into each dish. And don’t forget to check out their selection of Japanese craft beers and saki to complement your meal. We had fantastic tasting sake bombs! Overall, Wa Sushi is a must-visit! I can’t wait to go back and explore more of their offerings. Each bite made me pause to appreciate just how good sushi can be, and I’m already daydreaming about my next visit!

Google
WA Sushi was next-level! The sushi rolls were super fresh, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented 🍣. Each roll had its own twist—from spicy to crunchy to buttery smooth—and that sashimi platter with the edible flowers? Straight-up art on a plate. You can tell they put real care into every detail. The vibe is cozy and relaxed, perfect for a dinner date or just catching up with friends over good food ✨. Definitely one of those spots where every bite makes you pause for a second like—yup, this is the one. I’m already thinking about what to try next time!

Google
I am SO glad that we found Wa Sushi. We came after we saw a recommendation from a podcast and it did not disappoint. The ambiance there was so fun for a date night and service was 10/10. As soon as we walked in the chefs were so nice and welcoming. Every piece of nigiri melted in our mouth. The miso soup was perfect. Please get the fresh wasabi and the house made soy sauce. We found our new favorite sushi spot in orlando.

Google
I saw they were celebrating their 10th anniversary with a shocking deal on bluefin tuna all throughout April. I knew this had to be a place we tried while down in FL for our annual snowbird trip. We ordered the Butteryaki Mushrooms, a 10pc set of the bluefin tuna sashimi style; and another 10pc set nigiri style for our first round of food. The mushrooms were perfectly seared on the outside and still soft on the inside with a locked in buttery flavor. The tuna was as delicate and melt-in-your-mouth as I had hopes it would be. The THICKNESS of the sashimi slices truly surprised me. If that was how thick each slice of chutoro or otoro was going to be; I’d happily pay MP or even NY MP prices for it. The suggestion of dipping the tuna with their homemade smokier soy sauce was perfect. Our second round of food had hit a snafu due to some miscommunications, but it was still delicious. I ordered some of the seasonal fish they had that week: Threeline Grunt, Amberjack, Knifejaw, and Japanese Sea Bream. All of which I’ve never had before. I was surprised by the butteriness and firmness of the Grunt and Amberjack. It was perfectly contrasted by the delicate flesh of the knifejaw and the Japanese sea bream. My boyfriend also ordered a Spicy Tuna roll and some Gyoza to round out his dinner. Overall, the dinner was delicious and I’m so happy we were able to catch the end of this month’s celebration before leaving FL. We will definitely be back again when we come back to FL.

Google
WA will ALWAYS be incredible. Every time we come, we’re blown away. Today my husband had a mini omakase that had dry aged a5 wagyu and dry aged chu-toro. Their fish is so fresh they displayed the head of the tuna they were serving. We’ve been coming here for years and have a great experience every time.

Yelp
FRESH, good quality nigiri/sashimi. I am very particular about where I will eat raw fish. This is the most affordable sushi restaurant I know of that still meets my high standards. It's fresh and has a good texture (buttery, melt in your mouth), not "chewy" or "fishy." Keep in mind that although it's not in the menu, they sometimes have other cuts of the fish available, like Salmon Belly, which I like to order. Their ramen is better than most other ramen spots in central Florida. I like the spicy miso ramen the most. They have great daily specials that change regularly. The lunch deals are very good. Recently, they also started a thing where you roll some dice to determine what other free item or discount you will get. I haven't tried a lot of their rolls yet since I am more of a nigiri/sashimi person but I can vouch for the Inferno Roll (ask to substitute the spicy mayo with their spicy Kobachi sauce instead!). The jalapeño hamachi appetizer is always a good choice. The banana tempura dessert here is classic and you can't go wrong with it. It's satisfying to have the crispy, warm banana with the cold ice cream. They have a unique selection of imported beers and sakes. But I am personally happy with just my gold and RED Funaguchi (kikusui). Good service! Especially, Julian, Kaye, Emma (Emily), and Molly. On weekday lunch times, this isn't really an issue; However, please note this is a small restaurant with limited staff and chefs. It often gets extremely busy and takes a while to get your food. If you don't have a reservation on popular nights, be prepared for a long wait list. Always come here with patience and don't be in a rush!

Yelp
Great fresh sushi, that really hits the spot. I come here often for their sushi lunch special that has 2 rolls for $15. I get it with the Philly and shrimp tempura roll. I wish they had mor e variety on their lunch menu. The lunch set is a way better band for your buck though. As a whole this place is great but they charge $1 for eel sauce though and they always give the container practically empty.. I even mention it when I place the order iver the phone. The one pictured below is an unused eel sauce that they charged $1 for. Which as you can see it's almost empty. If you're going to charge for eel sauce at least fill it up.

Yelp
A lot of things truly happen at this restaurant for the first time. First things first I tried a few things that I never tried before which includes: Hot sake Takoyaki Red bean jelly N-tamago I don't mind trying any of these again except for the red bean jelly, which had a more earthy undertone, and not that delicious to me. Outside of that, though everything else was truly Japanese eating. The octopus was a unique taste because I'm used to having them fried. But inside of this ball like pastry was delicious. The sake was extremely warm, but yet it mellow out really really quickly so it's not like a harsh aftertaste. Now to the good stuff: The Sushi was delicious, I was told that they import certain things from another country and that's why some of the fish and horseradish, etc., etc. taste so uniquely different and fresh. I respect that and I like that a lot when companies truly take the time to make sure that there customers have a very unique and enriching taste. I would be back in a heartbeat, the food was just that delicious.

Yelp
One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in this side of town. They have more dishes that resemble food I had in Japan versus other fusion restaurants. Some of my favorite items: Niki udon, nabeyaki udon, moriwase, fresh wasabi. I love ordering off their specials menu also. One of my all time favs is the tako with wasabi I wish they would keep it on their regular menu! I recently had their salmon collar and it was fantastic. Service: always polite. I've dined in and taken out and always had a positive experience Ambiance: I would say modern and cozy. Doesn't get super loud for a Small space.

Yelp
This little gem is a place that has been mentioned to me on multiple occasions so when a friend invited me to go, I jumped at the opportunity. I've been several times since in an effort to try as many of their offerings as I can and I've not been disappointed yet. I'd recommend a reservation, as it is a small space with limited seating and it is very popular (especially on weekends). I was able to make a reservation through Facebook with ease. We ordered a lot of things on the menu and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My go-to order when trying a new sushi spot is a rainbow roll. It was so tasty! The sake recommendations we received from our server were exactly what I wanted. Their toro roll had such a great flavor profile that my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I can't wait to go again to sample more of their menu offerings. I appreciated how fresh the seafood was. It was a great place to catch up with friends. Also, there is plenty of parking, as it is in a strip mall and the bathroom was well maintained.

Yelp
Me and some friends did the magical dining menu offered here and it was truly amazing!! The outside of this place looks a little small and not super alluring but when you go inside it's done wonderfully! The service was really amazing, everyone was so sweet and helpful and tentative to our table!

Yelp
Went here for quick dinner tonight, fish was very very fresh and melted in my mouth. Rolls were delicious. Loved the small atmosphere of the restaurant, made it comfortable to talk to others. Our absolute highlight of the dinner had to be our waitress Emma. She was so helpful when we were deciding what to eat and gave us perfect recommendations! We would go back and hope that Emma is there! Genuinely one of the best waitresses we've had in our lives.

Yelp
I love me some good sushi. Delicious local spot. Everything is super fresh vocal and sustainably sourced small intimate atmosphere. Always busy. Never had a bad meal.

Yelp
Great experience overall. Stumbled on this restaurant leaving an appointment in the area. I had a spicy tuna roll (not pictured) and the Shoyu Tonkatsu Ramen. The food is of good quality, fresh and staff is exceptionally friendly!

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant a long time ago when they had a different restaurant location. I can definitely say the quality has not changed, it is still amazing! Our server was so kind and helpful. The new restaurant is smaller but I like it more than the old one. I love the aesthetic, music, and the way the food is plated. We started off with the A5 Wagyu Nigiri and Bluefin Toro Nigiri. Wow both of them just melted in my mouth. Very delicious and I recommend everyone to try it. Our appetizer, Firecracker, was shrimp crackers topped with spicy tuna and a sweet chilli sauce. These were so good! What a perfect combination of texture and taste. We ordered 5 rolls and they were all amazing, the quality of the fish here is immaculate. The simple Salmon roll was so good and almost buttery. Lastly we got dessert, Tempura Cheesecake with Green Tea ice cream. This was really good too! I think the Green Tea ice cream is home made it had great flavor. I will definitely be coming back here! This has got to be hands down the best sushi I have ever had. I do not think you can go wrong with any sushi you order here. Even the simplest rolls are made with great quality fish. If you love sushi this place is for you!

Yelp
I've only been here twice and both times the food, service, staff, and the vibes were amazing! This will be my new go-to spot for sure! Emma is so sweet and both times we have been there, she has recommended us delicious options. Sitting at the bar is a must for me while I am there. You can even see them making the sushi which is a nice touch. The sushi is very fresh and you can tell they put their hearts into making every roll or anything you get. 10/10!! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
Some of the best sushi I've had. Must try spot. Presentation is on point and the taste is amazing

Yelp
Fighting a bad cough, my body needed some hot soup, and since I was on my way to Oviedo, I made a quick stop into WA Sushi. My server quickly sat me down and quickly brought out my water. This afternoon, I ordered a ramen that hit my very soul. That salty broth, the seasoned meat, and the noodles just all were glorious in flavor and fulfilling the need my tummy had. I also ordered the takoyaki ($9), which were so freshly made that my mouth was singed on the first two, but I could not wait to eat them. So good! My photo shows four, but it's actually five, which come - I jumped them the instant I could break out the chopsticks. My belly is full and so happy right now.

Maleeha A.

Yelp
Came here for the first time after multiple friends recommended the sushi spot. Definitely a small restaurant, but there's nothing wrong with that. Gave it a very intimate ambience. The waiters were amazing, Kay was so friendly and gave amazing recommendations, including the fried fish for appetizers, which was on the chef special. The rules were very fresh and I didn't sit at the bar where the chefs were rolling however, I will definitely be doing that next time. This part of magical, but we didn't opt in. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
5 stars every time! Always fresh, always delicious, and always friendly. This last visit, we ordered the grand sashimi moriawase--16 pieces of the chef's choice sashimi. It was a work of art both visually and in taste.

Nancy R.

Yelp
The best sushi I've had in Florida. Great service too. Skye makes a roll just for me, a mackerel with lots of ginger and shiso leaf.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance and delicious food. Very fresh and flavorful, and service was 10/10! Defiantly coming back to try their omakase

Yelp
I've only been here once but need to make my way back here again. I was meeting a good friend whom I haven't seen in what seemed like forever and decided to meet here which is half way between our two worlds. Love that this restaurant is tucked away in an unassuming shopping plaza which makes it even more authentic. And to foodie standards.. a hidden gem. My friend ordered a beer and I ordered a hot rice tea. Wish I would've taken a picture of it because it was delicious. It reminded me of those small Korean drinks in a can with rice in it... just the hot version of it. He ordered the salmon teriyaki which was tender. And I had the squid roll. Imagine a sushi roll .. instead of rice, it was a rolled up squid. I don't know how the chef was able to do this but it was one of the best sushi I have ever had. I've never had anything like it before at other sushi restaurants so this was a real treat! I'm salivating just thinking about it

Yelp
I've heard positive reviews about Wa Sushi, so I wanted to give them a try. I've ordered take out before for soba, but wanted to try the sushi. There was only one server, so I expected service to be slower. I was a bit off put by the waitress waiting for the next table to be sat and look at the menu before bringing me my water (opting to bring the water for both tables at the same time). There was a good amount of time between our tables being sat. I was able to check the full menu before the table was sat and my water arrived. First red flag. I ordered the Mango Tango roll and one piece of Smelt Roe and one Quail egg piece. She took my order, then came back after taking the other table's order to ask if I wanted to change it to 2 pieces of roe with egg. (I was clear with what I ordered). The waitress explained the price as $1.25 per piece for one she recommended (same price as the quail egg only), so I agreed. The rolls came out pretty quickly. The Mango Tango roll had crab salad the was a bit warm and didn't taste too fresh. (Red flag when the crab salad is room temperature!!) The quail egg rolls were pretty good. When presented the bill I was shocked with a $5 additional charge for the quail egg roll. I explained that she said it was $1.25 per roll. She just apologized and took my credit card, and I was still charged. Extremely shady business! I will never be back!

Yelp
Wonderful service and food! High quality sushi! The food tasted great and they were very accommodating to my three little kids. The wait staff were very pleasant and helpful with what to order. You can tell a restaurant is great when it also attracts lovely customers. We were there late and my little one was tired and fussy. One of the regular customers brought over pens and a coloring book for her to use, just to make her happy. Amazing lady and also spoke highly of the restaurant. Great atmosphere and we will definitely be back in the future!
google avatar

Krzysza K.

Yelp
First time here and I was blown away! Love the variety of rolls available and the overall menu has something for everyone with hot and cold items, noodles and entrees. Got the rainbow roll, crunchy shrimp roll, samurai roll and ultimate tuna roll. Our personal favorite was the crunchy shrimp roll, so much that we got a second one to finish us off! We also each got a piece of their A5 Wagyu nigiri that was delicious! I tried the matcha and strawberry mochi ice cream and my friend got the tempura cheesecake. My ice cream was perfect with strawberry being the superior flavor IMO. Our waitress was great, but the restaurant itself is kinda small so more of an intimate setting with seating also available in front of the sushi chefs! Will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Wa Sushi is such a good date night hidden gem located in the corner of Casselberry! The ambiance is dark, romantic and intimate! Lucky for us, as soon as went we were seated right away. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive. To start off, we got fried oysters. I am usually not a fan of oysters, but frying it and dipping it in japanese mayo made it delicious! We also got Tuna tataki as an appetizer and it's presentation was beautiful! It was very refreshing as well. For rolls, we got the spider and spicy tuna roll which were delicious and met our expectations. Good quality sushi and fish! As for dessert, we decided to get fried cheesecake alongside ice cream. Although it was very sweet (as expected), it was the perfect dish to end the night with! Would definitely return :)

Yelp
A new sushi lunch and dinner location that can easily be overlooked, due to its location. But once you sit down and enjoy this fresh sushi, you'll learn that this is a true hidden gem! I came with my wife for a date night, and we were seated after about 10 minutes. We orded apps, sushi rolls, and dessert to share. The apps we got were the tuna tataki and gyoza, which is the fried pork dumplings, that cane with citrus-soy for dipping. The tuna tataki sat in a delicious ponzu sauce accompanied with sesame seeds and pepper. The rolls we ordered were the pina colada roll, crunchy shrimp roll, samurai roll, fuji roll, and Mango tango roll. Out if these, our favorites were piña colada roll with the coconut shrimp, pineapple and coconut shavings, the fuji roll had salmon, fried garlic, scallions, and a spicy ponzu for dipping. The crunchy shrimp had delicious avocado over the top of their rolls, cream cheese and eel sauce. These rolls had more ingredients, but I highlighted my favorite parts of them. For dessert we shared the banana tempura which had fried bananas, whipped cream, and a choice of one of their ice cream. Each bite needed some of everything to enjoy a the full dessert, the fried banana didn't have much flavor, so adding the whipped cream and ice cream helped. I may have found my new sushi restaurant and thankfully, it isn't too far from home!

Yelp
Wa has become a fast favorite of mine in Orlando for local, authentic Japanese cuisine. I especially love their lunch menu, as their prices are extremely generous for the lunch portions. Every time I go the staff are always so kind and welcoming. I love the dark interior and hole-in-the-wall atmosphere; the dining experience feels very intimate and quiet. My recommendations are the chirashi bowl and nabeyaki udon!

Yelp
I was in the mood for sushi, and albeit we have our usual spot where we automatically go to, as soon as we get a hankering for sushi, this time we opted to go out of our comfort zone and give Wa Sushi a try. I joked, as we drove up, "I wonder if Wa is going to wow us?" And boy did it!!! Wa Sushi is sparsely but tastefully decorated, making it quite elegant because of its simplicity. We were greeted as soon as we walked into the restaurant, by both waitstaff as well as the sushi chefs. We selected a small table by the window, next to the wooden separating screen (handmade BTW). We chose the usual sake we drink at other restaurants, but our waitress peaked our curiosity by mentioning a cloudy sake as an alternative, so we ordered it upon her recommendation. It was delicious! "What about the sushi?" You're surely asking ;) I don't remember what my husband ordered (platter pictured) but he was very pleased with it. It was both beautiful as well as scrumptious. I enjoyed some edamame, a miso soup and two rolls, the California and a tempura sweet potato roll, all super yummy. Wa Sushi is in a very unassuming strip mall, where you're never expect to find a great restaurant, but don't let the location deter you from trying them out. I promise you'll enjoy it and go back, over and over, like we will.
google avatar

Dana S.

Yelp
Heard good things about this place, however I was only impressed with 2 items. The galbi appetizer (I'll est this anywhere whether it's good or bad). The best thing I had was on the specials menu. It was the sablefish. Perfectly cooked and buttery just like Chilean seabass. Spent $200 at this place for 2 people and left hungry
google avatar

Jenette S.

Yelp
WAa hooo. Came here for my sister's birthday and for a hole in the wall spot it is fantastic. Wish they had sushi spots like this in Tampa. What a lucky gem for Orlando! Our waitress was a doll and couldn't be more helpful in food selections. I eat with my eyes so I ordered way more than I should have. Everything was delicious! The presentations made you not want to touch it at first but when you take that first bite!!! GAME ON!
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Wa was recommended along with several other places that turned out to be winners, so I stopped in for an early dinner. I liked the tempura a lot, but I found the sushi was surprisingly heavy on the wasabi, which overshadowed the fish itself (something I'd expect with lesser-grade, or less fresh fish maybe, but not this good stuff). Otherwise pretty enjoyable. Friendly service too.
google avatar

Tai G.

Yelp
Was looking for a quick bite to eat when I found this little sushi place. We had ramen and it was pretty great! The service was nice and quick, and they have a great selection of sushis, which we have yet to try. We've been there twice already and will definitely be back for more.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been going to this place since it was located on Seminola blvd and this place has never let me down. The service is always good and the food is excellent. Whether is the sushi or the ramen, you can never go wrong. The atmosphere is cozy and a really good spot for date night.

Rob P.

Yelp
This cute space in the corner of a strip center has great sushi. A perfect replacement for Fuji when it closed. Service is friendly, the sushi is fresh, and tables and sushi bar very welcoming. Very clean. Chefs behind the bar making "rolls" were nice and very skilled. Lots of 2 tops tables, but we saw a group of 8 handled without a problem. Their hijiki was not quite as good or big as at Fuji. Also served cold, not hot. Otherwise, we'll be back. We hope they last as long as good old Fuji!
google avatar

Mansi P.

Yelp
Sushi was decent, tried take out and the rolls fell apart a bit. Fish itself seemed fresh. Would be back to try other items.

Erika C.

Yelp
Amazing food! We had the Grand Nigiri Moriawase and it was incredible! Also, the miso soup and the house salad are delicious. We also got the fried cheese cake and it was amazing!!! Our entire meal was a total experience. We came for my husband's birthday and we had such a lovely time. Our server, Kaye, was very helpful and sweet. The ambiance is great, very cozy, and welcoming. We're definitely coming!! 100% recommend.

Albert B.

Yelp
Food was fresh and really nicely displayed. Had some really different appetizers that were delicious. Service was excellent. Very small restaurant nicely done. We got there on Friday at 5pm, by 530pm there was a line to get seated. Make reservations.

Vivian S.

Yelp
Veey good tasting Japanese food. I highly recommend this place for all. Best Japanese restaurant I been in years. I will definitely be coming back. Great staff and great atmosphere.

Deanna L.

Yelp
This time I came here for lunch and tried their tempura lunch set and pork katsu lunch set. I also tried their mango tango roll and I had to get the fried baby octopus again. The lunch set comes with a choice of miso soup or house salad, 3 pieces of gyoza, 4 pieces of a California roll, and rice, and with it all for only $11, it's a great deal and a very delicious, filling lunch. The tempura is light and crispy and everything is very fresh. The pork katsu is tender and the sauce that comes with it is sweet and tangy. The mango tango roll served as a perfect appetizer, it had shrimp tempura, mango, cucumber, and was topped with snow crab salad, all the ingredients in that roll blended together so well. The fried baby octopus was also tasty as always. Anyone who likes fried calamari is going to love the fried baby octopus here. Customer service was great as always. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I have a few sushi restaurants I already love, but this place has been recently added to my rotation. They have a great selection of specialty rolls that at one point I'd like to try them all. If you're not into specialty rolls I highly recommend trying the grand nigiri moriawase! For drinks you must order the pineapple sake!

Yelp
The little boy who works in the front was very disrespectful. I've been a loyal customer to wa sushi since before the pandemic and the relocation and NEVER have I came across any issues. He was VERY unprofessional and lacked communication with me when relating details on my order I was waiting for. Him being the first face and the person to interact with needs to be reconsidered and possible have him work in the back. Never had an issue in the years I been coming here

Jen H.

Yelp
Today we had the worst sushi experience in a long time. We went in after 8pm and waited near an hour for our food. The portion was so small that we finished everything in 10 mins. The sushi roll that has lobster in it was definitely a ripoff, $24 dollars and the lobster tempura was barely warm. Every sushi we ordered only had a very small piece of meat in it. In the end the bill was over $70 for two people and we felt just near half full after finished everything. Overall it's such a disappointing experience and this place is very overpriced for both the food and the service.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh sushi! The spicy tuna had toasted sesame seeds on top, which took the flavor to an awesome place. The dynamite roll had nice flavor and texture combinations. The pina colada roll was our favorite--it tasted like the coconut shrimp from Red Lobster (the only thing I love from Red Lobster) and made my mouth so happy!

Yelp
Legit Japanese sushi place. I love sushi and find this place to be wonderful. Small and intimate but good service, lots of options and delicious sushi

Yelp
In town for work and visiting friend who suggested Magical Dining. I chose Japanese/Sushi so Wa Sushi it was! Friendly service and excellent food! The Kamo-Rosu (Japanese Style Braised Duck) was amazing and I would definitely order that again. Had the Grand Nigiri Moriwase and it too was excellent. High quality items for all nigiri. I normally don't order tamago but I was extremely pleased with it this time. My Matcha Mousse was not special but my friend's Tempura Cheesecake which comes with choice of ice cream was absolutely a winner.

Yelp
Was in the area and decided to visit the sushi spot based on the great reviews. The food is good and fresh however we were not as impressed as we wish to be. The Ramen was pretty good and the broth had lots of taste, spice level was good, we got the spicy Ramen. We got two other rolls one spider roll $12 and motomaki roll $16. I was disappointed with the motomaki roll because they were literally 5 pieces. Eel is my favorite and they were barely any eel in it (couldn't even tell by looking at all), for that price I expected at least more eel than a eel roll. The spider roll had 6 pieces which was alright, comparable to other sushi places. Food was good but prob won't come back again.

Yelp
The food is so fresh. Don't let the exterior in the strip mall scare you. This place is legit! Sashimi was fresh and they have some unique rolls. If you're a sushi snob you'll love the food!!! Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Went there with my wife a couple of years back. The friend tofu was very bland overpriced for the quantity. The real downer was that I got food poisoning, whether from the ramen or the sushi I don't know. Not to mention, it took well over half an hour from the time we sat down until our server came to our table I to get our drink order...

Yelp
Totally love the service we came only for a sake but will come back for dinner and cannot wait to taste the fresh sushi here. Met the owner set at the bar and really really nice people.

Yelp
Yummm!! My sister had an intimate birthday dinner. The venue is small, so our group of 7 took up almost half the restaurant. The server was nice. The food was amazing. I LOVE to eat exotic foods, so my sashimi entree that featured gold flakes was my cup of green tea. Items such as uni and ikura were also my favorites that I ordered. You know a sushi restaurant knows what they are doing when they have those on the menu!
