Girl Employee handled right now! Thank you for the fast, efficient and friendly service! #86 my food came out perfect! This is the first time that I've had my food so exact order with perfection! As a former manager, that's the kind of person that I would give a raise to and move them up in the company! I am enjoying my dinner right now. Thank you so much Young lady! Best service ever!

Food is good and service is good , 2 stars because the chicken portion was way too small. They should call this place “rice bowl” because they give you a rice bowl with pieces of chicken

Excellent customer service by a young lady on a recent Friday night. Very good prices for the quality and amount of food. Fast but fairly healthy and yummy.

End of lunch time rush and the was nobody at the front to take an order for like 5 mins until someone else noticed and went back to alert them. Also, the paper towel dispenser was almost empty despite being on order 160 for the day. Seemed on the verge of not being clean and clearly didn't have employees who took pride in their work so not sure I'd go back to this location. Otherwise the food was ok.

I went here for the convenience and I’ve been here before. It’s close to home and options are limited. Generally I would drive the extra mile to get Panda or something else when I want some fast food, All that being said, WaBa puts out a consistent product and it’s pretty good... I had the WaBa plate on this visit and enjoyed it.

I really like ordering the mini chicken bowl, it comes with white or brown rice and you can get veggies also. I don't eat much so it is perfect amount for me.

I feel that this place is comparable to Flame Broiler, though a tad bit more expensive. I personally purchased the chicken, rice, and veggie bowl for $7.68, and my thoughts are as follows: the chicken was well cooked though it had a slight fish aftertaste, the veggies a bit overcooked and somewhat lacking in overall quality, and the rice perfectly cooked. I would definitely say this is a healthy meal compared to most other lunch alternatives, although the veggies leave room for improvement. I may likely eat here again in the future.

Great location. Friendly staff, clean inside. The food quality is consistent. Ingredients are fresh and orders have been accurate.

Surprising good, I was expecting the same as Yoshinoya but it was much higher quality and tasted healthier. The boom boom sauce & beef tacos were really good. A bit pricey tho Taste 7/10 Value 8/10

Honestly I'm so disappointed. I usually go every week. I had never been more grossed out. If you see on the carrot I took that out of the beef. I had found another 2 of those on my beef while I was digging in my food. The only thing I could think is that I look like legs. Ugh I'm done with this location.

The crappy food. 6 torn leaves of dry outer iceberg lettuce is not a salad. Soggy wet inside and dry leathery outside is an insult to dumpling lovers anywhere. Dry overcooked salmon on glue rice with a dribble of some brown faux teriyaki sauce was inedible. This place makes airline food look promising.

The food is very good! Very fresh, with plenty of options. As for service, we have been going there since it opened, and have never had an issue with the service. No real ambiance here, just a small area with tables. The place is always clean and fresh, and the food is always hot and tasty. Good healthy eating at a very reasonable price. Give it a try...

My local WaBa location. Located in one of the big plazas in Monrovia. Small parking in front. Staff were very friendly and gave me a bunch of sauces to try. Food was ready fast. Chicken Bowl - $7.19 - Good flavor in the chicken. I love their hot sauces. The kiddos eat this up like crazy.

Hmmm this is disappointing for me. I asked my husband to buy me food and I specifically asked for this since I've been craving for Waba for so long. I usually buy it from the one in Arroyo Pkwy, Pasadena since I work around there and I always had a great experience. I was anticipating this fresh grilled chicken and soft ribeye steak but instead I was welcomed with dry and burnt meal with a bitter aftertaste. I'm so sad!! I was really looking forward for this. I can't even save it with the waba sauce they provide.

Due to COVID safety there is no dine-in. The chairs are stacked up and there are markers for social distancing. There's quite a bit of room inside so I felt safe ordering and waiting for my food. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken plate. You have the option of white rice or brown rice. It also includes salad and half an orange. When I got home I noticed they also included their waba sauce, hot sauce and hand sanitizer. I thought it was a nice touch. Overall the food tasted good. They advertise being healthy. They even have a healthy menu which seems to be their current special. Not bad. New Year. New diet haha. I would come again.

I tried calling at 815 right now to get my order in early. No answer. Called a few more times and was hung up on. I get here at 840. Google says it's open til 9. I pull up and the neon sign says open. Door is open. I walk in but all chairs are pulled up and it's dark. They told me it's closed and to leave. They shooting a secret porno here or something? For sure this place is supposed to open this last hour and they just wanted to hang it up early and chill out. Nevermind me feeding myself and fiance that get out late from work. Yeah. F*** that

Quick and friendly service! I ordered the chicken vegetable bowl with brown rice. They had given me white rice, but told them I asked for brown rice. It wasn't a big deal for me and they were gladly to correct their mistake. The bowl was about under $9. I think it's pretty pricey for all the rice they give you and some what little meat to proportion with the rice. I love rice, but I love my meats too. Haha. Parking can be a pain sometimes because the plaza is always busy. Great place to grab a quick lunch.

I've frequented this location for years. But due to schedule changes at my job, which is approximately a mile from here, I don't get to go there very often. However, I went recently for lunch and was still pleased. Sadly, I've seen a few new faces and not the regulars who knew me well. But as the past employees, everyone was very professional and polite. The service and food was great. Keep up the good work WaBa!

Delicious. We arrived at 8:30 and our food was still fresh despite them cleaning up for the night. I got the beef bowl and pot stickers. It was worth the stop!

Looking for a vegan menu change and so I had heard that WaBa had some great Tofu options. I had the Tofu Bowl but I wish I would have ordered the Tofu vegetable bowl. Either way my bowl was very delicious and putting on the WaBa sauce can make anything taste pretty damn good. My wife had the half & half bowl with white meat for the chicken portion ad they still charge a full dollar [not half] but she was very happy. The food came out pretty fast and everything was hot and delicious, oh I said that already. This location is very clean and it is a great value because I left full and my wife took some home.

Their crew is friendly, food was good, great experience. I go here frequently because of that as a quick go to for family dinner.

First time trying it for lunch shrimp with brown rice. And dumplings it was 10 out of 10 for me my new go to place

Every time I come here on my lunch, it doesn't matter who is at the counter , all employees are nice and have manners. They Always have a smile and always polite. They are never bothered or annoyed when asking for sauce like other places. , I always come here because the customer services is A1!

This waba grill has always been clean, friendly, fast and efficient. I like ordering the mini chicken bowls with white meat, brown rice and broccoli. Perfect for a lunch after you workout. Just enough food if you don't want a lot. Will return.

First off not the employees fault but the rice maker was broken I took my order home to find out the rice was raw. Took it back with gas being expensive the cashier had a hard time getting hold of the manager finally got a hold of him to return my money and still charge me for a chicken bowl after an hour and a half , what a waste of time and money...the owner has to step up and make sure his customers are happy...

My boyfriend loves this place but I'm just not a fan. The meat is just too chewy. He told me he prefers the chicken over the beef. Their sauce is pretty good and I wouldn't mind occasionally eating here but definitely not my top choice.

Great fast and friendly service! I dine in here often for lunch and never have any problems getting back on time. You can't go wrong with their Waba Bowl! You get Chicken and Steak!

My dumplings were all burnt very disappointed! I arrived around 8:00pm workers were cleaning everything up,chairs on top of the table. Closing time is at 9:00 pm. Lack of service.

I order food from this location at least once a week. The employees are super fast... my order is always ready when I get there to pick it up. Employees are friendly and the food always tastes good.

Went in today and asked if they could do a Half Chicken/Half Tofu Bowl. They said No. I offered to pay the same price as the Chicken/Beef Bowl. No dice. Cashier's have a horrible attitude and do not understand the concept of Customer Service. The plaza provided coupons of buy one chicken bowl get one free with a drink. When trying to use it, I was denied. I explained that the Veggies and the avocado i requested can be charged to me on the side. "NO IT HAS TO BE EXACTLY A CHICKEN BOWL WITH RICE" I explained I was trying to give them more money with the add ons, but the big girl didn't understand. I arrived to Waba and Waba is my go to food Hana had helped me out 3 times and every time she has been sweet with me and had my order ready quickly not only that she asks if I would like condiment.

Worst and unprofessional crew and especially the manager. The manager is a your man in his 20 with a tattoo in his left arm and earrings. I needed to used the restroom after eating there and the restroom was lock and turned around in the middle of the emergency thinking that probably I needed a key I walk back but the n I realized that I didn't needed a key so naturally I came back and attempted to open the door which is lock and I heard a voice saying something I'm in here. I waited not making any interruption and 5 mins later the female Hispanic young woman came out and said something rude to me which I won't write it. I went I did my business and I came out and I told her it was very rude of her what she said to me and she responded without letting me go who my sentence saying with her body language that she didn't care she was using the bathroom and there is only one and I was trying g to yank open the door. Since she would let me explain I just said to that I'm sorry I didn't hear her but, regardless of that she should not say nothing back to the costumer and then the manager jumped in...she is a woman and you shouldn't say nothing to her..??? He came out in a fast fashion way that I thought he was coming out to hit me or something but, no he went and opened the door and he raised his voice I front of other patrons to leave. I replied saying why? I was not being disrespectful to no one but that he was to me. He came back same hostile form of fast pace and thinking this guy is about to hit me for the second time, but just went behind me and back inside and he was mad watching me and I asked what is the problem and to say something but all he did was stirred with a mean face. I was walking out and like an child was making faces and hand gestures and told was not welcome there. I'm here thinking my son is dying from cancer at Coty of Hope and I'm there to eat and relax and to get treated like this? Is this what Waba people they hired? I will never bring my business to this place and not only that I have place large orders there but, thanks to this manager and other employees I will not be coming here to bring them business and I want everyone to not go where they are treated in a hurtful way, as I'm going to a lot of pain and I don't need nothing like this. Manager provoked and made it worse instead of defuse the situation it quickly scaled by his way and this can happen to anyone. I hope the owners read this and take some actions to correct and train them better. Ungrateful and with clear problems....not to say nothing because she is a woman? He is putting down a woman like she is not capable of formulate her response and address the situation....very pathetic woman are intelligent and strong no need of an ignorant like this to come to the aid....made it worse!

Yesterday I order Waba grill for the first time and let me tell you I had the worse experience ever. I order 3 chicken bowls with avocado and when I opened it I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. I was given black avocado literally black really BAD and what make it worse all 3 bowls were the same. IT WAS REALLY DISGUSTING!! I wish I can upload some pictures I took so you guys can see. I don't understand why they acted so careless they could of just said "sorry ma'am we don't have avocado" but no they went ahead and put that bad avocado in all 3 bowls. I was going to take them back to get my money back but my husband didn't want to make it a big deal. Honestly I thought it was they acted so careless. I'm never going back!!!

Pricy , portion is small , salmon WAY overcooked. Piece of orange was the best part of my combo. I'm Asian, and I get so heartbroken when I'm served undercooked old rice . I feel all my rice picking ancestors crying in despair of the ill treatment of this beautiful kernel of life . Taisho on Huntington ? Such good food and excellent quality. I love the salmon bowl. The customer service is amazing. There is always the cashier on Sat mornings and she is so sweet! She complimented my nails!

Pulled up at 8:45pm to a makeshift sign on the door with "new hours we close at 9pm" odd I said. As I try open the door noticed it was locked with two female employees inside acting like they didn't see me. For 1, hours clearly state you close at 10pm. 2, the sign that they wrote stated "9pm" yet it's 8:45pm? Are these really the people you have representing this establishment and brand? Safe to say I don't support business being ran like this. Look I get it, I run a region in Southern Cali for At&t and I can assure you instances like this does not happen on my watch. I will stop coming here and start giving Flame Broiler a try.

Good food bad service =2 stars :( Apparently "Mary" the cashier was in a bad mood. Answered our questions while rolling her eyes. She was like that to every costumer behind us! So rude!! But she was "happy" when she went back to talking to the cooks. Smh

The flavor is good, but the problem is that the chicken is dry, the brown rice is undercooked and hard, and the vegetables are undercooked and hard.

This was my 1st time here. Denisse was very friendly and patient since I wasn't familiar with their menu. I got the Waba plate with avocado. This comes with chicken and beef. I only wish that they had a combo plate with chicken + shrimp and that they had an option to tip when paying with a credit card.

The food is good and they have good portions. I phoned my order ahead of time and came to pick it up but it wasn't ready on time so I'll keep in mind it doesn't make much a difference whether you phone ahead or not.

BAD EMPLOYEES. 1/14/21 Thursday during lunch time, I visited this shop with my bf. There was 2 female employees and 1 male. Upon arriving, the girl cashier was staring at my bf, then there she goes, saying "it's a BEAUTIFUL DAY" emphasizing loudly and chuckling loudly with the female employee at the back, while continue eyeing and staring at my bf. The whole visit, me and my bf was feeling extreme uncomfortable and we said that we would never return to this shop. How thirsty were those employees to not give mutual respect to their customer who were only trying to get food and have a pleasant experience? I'm writing this review because the manager should really educate their own employees. As they represent your store and they're the one who deals with your customers' experiences. I really feel bad for other customers that had to experience the same stuff because it was really unpleasant and uncomfortable.

I have been coming here a couple times a week. The half and half bowl with all veggies is my go to low calorie meal. The service is not up to par with other WaBas, but they just opened so I'm sure they are still getting a grip on things.

This is the best waba location I've been too, I love waba and their chicken and tofu are always cooked to perfection here and everything else is always on point. I've been to plenty other locations and while their service is great, the quality at this location is always just so much better, plus the crew is always so sweet, shout out to Amy! (And all the other employees whose names I haven't learned yet)

Waba Grill is a goto fast food joint for me ...their food is prepared fresh , restaurant is always clean and they have a killer Kale Salmon Salad. There chicken plate they have is a healthy serving size will definitely get you full.

Love their chicken esp. The salad that comes in their plate , coz they use arugula greens w-asian sesame dressing w/c i like, I recommend this place

I tried the tofu veggie bowl; the tofu wasn't great, but it filled me up nonetheless. I'm sure the other meat bowls taste much better than the tofu.

This is our favorite place for a healthy lunch I order the half-and-half. They have good service delicious food very consistent. Tip: order your food by phone ahead of time to avoid waiting.

I came in on a Sunday at 7:15pm and all of the chairs were up on the tables as if they were closed. I asked to make sure they were still open, which they were. I ordered my food, and when I asked if I could eat there, I was told "the lobby closes at 7". I checked the sign on the door on my way out, and it clearly says they're open until 8pm. It was cold AF outside, so I had to sit in my car to eat. So annoying, and incredibly inconsiderate.

Absolutely great customer service from the girl at the register! Food and customer service exceed expectations. Chicken bowl and dumplings were both amazing. great job!

All I can say is Amy, Ross & Johnny made my night. My mom turned a freshly made salmon plate into a bag of mush when she carried the to-go bag out so carelessly that it all fell out of the plate and into the bag leaving me with a big mess. When Amy saw what happened she offered to get us a new plate while Johnny told me not to worry. He even reheated my salmon as Ross refreshed the rice & veggies. They were amazing. All of them. Thanks for keeping me from losing my temper. As always, Waba keeps me happy.

I frequent this WaBa Grill since it is the closest to my house. They have consistently provided great customer service. Amy, especially, is very quick and attentive. What a difference with the WaBa Grill by my job in the City of Industry. The service over there is horrible to the point I stopped going. Thank you WaBa Monrovia.
