Pros: uramaki amaebi flambé for a delicate and tasteful original sushi Cons: found the place a bit fancy shmancy Good but had a bit of a feeling of chic Japanese sushi for new money. Would also expect a bit more from the service. Small things like holding the door when you leave.

We visited here together as a couple, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first moment, it was clear that this restaurant truly lives by its philosophy. The modern Japanese cuisine is deeply respectful of seasonality and ingredients, and every element on the plate feels carefully considered, intentional, and unique. A friend and I could not get into another 5 star sushi place and stumbled upon Waby, not realizing it was a michelin rated restaurant. We arrived just as they were starting service. We loved everything! The service was excellent, the food was amazing, the wine paired perfectly with what we ate. Everything was so great I left a generous tip because I haven’t that kind of service in a long time. I’d definitely recommend Waby

The food was some of the best I’ve ever had. We had from the card, not following the chefs menu, but still got a delicious starter from the chef. What we ordered was also all delicious. The restaurant looks really cool and has a wonderful luxurious and romantic feel to it. The staff also was very attentive and caring, and kind at all times. One of the best food experiences I have ever had in my life!
