We live in Westminster, so we have been to Wachusett Brewery quite a few times, however, this was our first visit to the one in Worcester. We were excited to discover the beer and drinks are just the same, but this site is located inside a food market. There were so many incredible restaurants to pick from so we grabbed a little something from about 5 stands to sample as much as we could (there was easily 10-15 stands total so we'll need to come back to sample more). Everything we tried was delicious! Even our kids loved pretty much everything, which will make sense for anyone with kids, as they can be very picky. While we were there we ate, drank and were merry. There was also live music playing which made for a great atmosphere and we played a few rounds of uno with the kids as the bar had a game rack. We really loved our first visit and will definitely be back.

If you want good local beer in the Worcester area, there are many answers, but Wachusett brew yard is the ONLY right answer. There is no comparable beer. Theirs is the best without competition. Comfortable chill atmosphere, not like the big overrun daycares you usually find (so please don't bring that here). Grab some good at the food hall and come by the bar for a pint of something delicious.

There’s a nice long list of their beers on tap. They have an awesome (covid-friendly) texting ordering system in place, where they respond with fun gifs. My favorites are the blueberry, blood orange, & the sir veza. You can order pretzels through them or there’s tons of food to bring from the rest of the market. The space has lots of seating & picnic benches for groups of 6, too. Such a fun place for a date, to hang with friends, or to go with the whole family.

This taproom outpost is in a wonderful little market full of craft vendors and delicious bites. If you're in the area, stop here for a pour of their Strawberry ale while you listen to some live music. We haven't had their Strawberry ale since 2014 😯 but even after all these years it's still a stunner 🍻

Very cosy, friendly places for friends and brews. Stayed for trivia night and it was pretty fun! The open concept is excellent, and the tap selection is some of the most crisp I've ever had. Grabbing a brew while enjoying any of the great spots 30 feet away really hits the spot.

Google
Always a nice way to end your trip to the Worcester Public Market or head here before a WooSox game. Always a good selection of beers. A style everyone will try.

I love coming here with friends or even a solo lunch. They have a great selection of drinks that are sure to please almost anyone 21 and up. It’s great that you can bring some food in from the public market’s great selection.

Yelp
Love this new location! Lots of beer (and other drinks!) on TAP! There is live music sometimes. Awesome, modern, edgy-looking space and HUGE! Love it! Beers are around $7-$9 which isn't too bad! Love it!

Yelp
We've been out to the original Wachusett Brewery before, but we never stopped in here (even though we drive by frequently). We decided to stop in and grab a beer and check it out. It's a really nice place to sit and have a beer, although it's not as fun as the brewery the space is big and open with large windows for people watching and traffic watching! The marketplace is attached with lots of great food booths to grab a bite to eat with your beer!

Yelp
Our party of five were hot and thirsty on this humid evening, and the air conditioned Wachusett Brew Yard beckoned. The Brew Yard is located very close to Polar Park, the new home of the Worcester Red Sox (The Woo Sox), and much is being done to revitalize this area. We really liked the vibe of this place, with tall ceilings and minimalist furnishings. Our bar tender was fast, helpful, and more than happy to turn one of the TV channels to the MLB Red Sox game which was in late innings. We each ordered a beer, ranging from a summer blueberry ale to a he lite beer, to a stout. They were cold, refreshing and a seeming necessity on this "Wicked Haht Bahston Night". The Wachusett Brew Yard is nest to the new Worcester Public Market, a "multi-vendor, food-oriented marketplace in the European tradition." Earlier in the evening, I tried the Pakistani Dumplings here, and really enjoyed them. However, the food court closes before the Brew Yard closes, meaning you can't get any food as the Brew Yard is for drinks only. So if you have a later night munchies, this may not be the optimum choice.

Yelp
Good hangout spot with good service and the public market is a fun stop. Worth going for sure! They have hit or miss live music though. If it's what you're going for it's great- if you're going to chat with friends (or if the performer isn't awesome), it's way to loud to hangout in. It pushes people out because there's not a ton of seating far enough away from the music.

Yelp
Place is great beer selection is amazing great tasting beer in the atmosphere is cool.

Yelp
We visited the Worcester location next to Prime market and what a treat! They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The bar was in an Airstream which looked supercool and the beer menu was well rounded with lots of options. The beer was perfectly cold on a nice hot day and it was nice to head over to the market to get food and snacks.

Yelp
the creativity of the names & the taste of the beers! Started with Pumpkin Ale & will come back for more. Woostah!

Yelp
Swing in here after seeing it open driving thru Kelly Square. Great new space, loving the Brew Bus Bar concept. It's got all the Wachusett beer favorites and some of the new cider flavors. Gonna be a great place to hang out once the new Woo Sox ball park is up and running. It's super new right now but it'll be a wicked awesome craft beer destination in Worcester. Edit: Gawd damn you Yelp, let me change the wording in my review. It's supposed to be "Swung in here..."

Yelp
We went there with our children and 2 other families. I felt compelled to leave a review. Firstly, we are all professionals and our industries have been impacted be the pandemic as many others have. That's said, We arrived sat ourselves and read the instructions on a laminated paper on the table instructing us to scan a QR code to view the menu and place our order. Got it... No problem. When we didn't see anyone come to our table one of us went to the bar and inquired about drinks. We were told that we had to order them there. Got it.... No problem. As we were placing our orders we were prompted to add a tip. At least two of the 3 families added a 18% tip. Which is fine except no ever came to our table. Two of the 3 families received their orders an hour later. The response was that the tickets got stuck in the printer which we totally understand, things happen right... here's where things went south. My friend asked for his pre-paid 18% tip back since we had not received service from anyone up-to that point. There was a guy who we think was a supervisor he came to the table and in front of everyone embarrassed him by saying "this is a first, here's your 2.70 tip back" Now, all three of the families ordered close to 100.00 worth of food each without counting the beer and kids drinks. So the returned tip was inaccurate but that's beside the point. The fact that this guy came from behind the bar and voice fully expressed the return of the tip In front of the rest of the people at the table speaks volumes of the lack of professionalism of the people hired to work for WBC. I'm hoping this was an isolated incident and I hope he doesn't represent the leadership or ownership of this establishment. The sad part for us was that we were excited to go there because we are consumers of WBC and love the beer. Hopefully someone will look in to this.

Yelp
Great beer some of my favorite on the area. Not so caught up on IPAs. Little crazy wait. Dog's welcome. They have weird inconsistent rules about filling growlers.

Julie O.

Yelp
Great beer and great service. Love that this is located in a market where you can choose what kind of food to eat. They burger place delivered our food right in the brew yard.

Yelp
Sooo I was very excited to try this place out because it's in the heart of kelly square and the outside looks great. I went on a weekday and it was pretty busy but got a seat at the bar right away the bartender gave us a beer menu to look at and walked away. So no big deal we decide what we want and then five minutes go by there are about 5 people behind the bar working and they were all talking and the line to get beers was getting longer. 10 minutes go by we are the only ones at the bar with no drinks. At fifteen minutes we finally flagged a bartender down and he looked at us and went to the people who were standing there for a minute got there beers and then didn't even come back to get our drinks so we had to flag someone else down. The service is so bad and they have so many people doing nothing. I got the strawberry beer when I finally got served and well I would recommend that beer or this place. There are many other and better places to get beer around there

Sara V.

Yelp
Loved it! The service was great, the beer was awesome, that's a nice live music. For anybody who's not familiar with the area you're right in the at of Kelly Square, so you're going to hear some traffic, but I think it kind of adds to the ambience. And they serve soft pretzels or you could bring in food from the rest of the marketplace to munch on while you drink.

Ryan H.

Yelp
Great setup with food options next door for everyone. The taproom is smaller so it would be crowded on game day. But get there early and it's a great spot to pre game

Susan K.

Yelp
The strawberry ale is amazing. Intense berry flavor but not sweet. Spacious and comfortable even when it is busy. They don't serve food - carry your in from dozens of options in the Public Market.

Patrick S.

Yelp
Awesome space! Felt comfortable but the ordering was odd and ended up doubling our order due to confusion. Oh well; double the beer ‍

Brynn S.

Yelp
SO GOOD!! It was great sitting in their outdoor area and listening to live music. Wasn't feeling a beer but they other options including a nice raspberry margarita! Their food was awesome too. Got pulled pork and it was delicious. They really need to have better wayfinding signage though. Didn't know where things were or how to enter the outdoor seating area.

Yelp
I am very disappointed with the service i received. Dont get me wrong i always love a nice wachusett brew but i expect service/ managment to treat customers with respect. Our server told us 5 minute before the kitchen was closing that we must order food per the MA state mandate. I understand one must follow rules but i would appreciate if i was told in advance that we are required to do so and am aware of said rules (i have not been in out in a while). Well when my SO was slightly upset and said he would like to talk to a manager he was told by our server/manager that he was too unreceptive to have a conversation with. I am quite upset as a server myself because there was not one apology for making this mistake which was not our fault and that she had the audacity to try and turn it around on us as if we were wrong for being upset that she didnt say anything to us sooner than 5 minutes before the kitchen closing. All in all i dont appreciate being treated like a delinquent when i was just trying to have a nice date/cold beer. Not to mention they had a bartender follow us out as we left treating us as if we are criminals. Overall the worst experience i have ever received at a place of service and would NEVER go back after the awful treatment we revived over simply complaining.

Yelp
Love how easy it is to order drinks here during covid-19. They make it so easy. Inside is very spacious and welcoming & drinks are great.

Jim O.

Yelp
We had lunch in the Brew Yard and I needed to give them a shout out for how they're handling operations after the reopening. Plenty of space in the nice shady grove, remote ordering on the phone app, but the same great beer. And careful, responsible servers. Great job, guys, and good luck.

Yelp
Yup....Wachusett Brewing Company has done it again !!!!...Brand new Brew Yard at Kelley Square in Worcester!!...The place is beautiful and is connected to an awesome food court. You can bring you favorite brew out to the food court or bring your food into the Brew Yard.
