I've visited Wadada on several occasions. They're such a cool Plant-Based spot in the West End of Atlanta. It's among my top 2 choices for wholesome and delicious smoothies. I appreciate that they add sea moss to many of their smoothies. The "Beet Bliss" smoothie is heavenly. You can also purchase separate jars of sea moss to take with you. They're also known to carry a variety of other health conscious products that set them apart from the average smoothie bar. You'll absolutely want to try their warm Jamaican patties. Of all the times I've visited, I've never encountered bad customer service. They have the best vegan ice-cream, I recommend "Pecan Dream". If you're considering Wadada and want to support a Black-Owned business, it's worth the visit.

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love this place and the art in the neighborhood. I'm thrilled to have a healthier eating alternative besides hot wings and McDonald's. Today, I stopped by this morning before work to grab a smoothie and some sea moss. There was only one smoothie operator available. Her personality was neither warm nor friendly. She provided short, quick responses and displayed little interaction, with no eye contact and a slightly rude demeanor. I feel like the world already treat us like second-class citizens. When I come to spend my money at a Black-owned business, especially one where the staff looks like me, I expect to feel appreciated. Is that too much to ask? Despite this experience, I still believe in supporting local businesses and hope this feedback encourages improvement in customer service.

I love this spot to be honest. They are expensive as heck though. Expect to pay about $15 for a large smoothie, and the size isn’t even as big as smoothie kings large size. Very healthy smoothies though and taste good. I go here like once a month but find it to be less expensive to make my own smoothies. They have different people that come to this store that will cook vegan meals and sell them in the store. The lines get pretty long on those days and the food is amazing. I do recommend this spot.

Love it!!! Becoming a vegan again and this place reminded me of how tasty it was being a vegan. Popped in for a snack and must say I loved the spinach patty and the smoothie it was right on point with the flavor and consistency of both, it hit the spot. It was a bit expensive but youbpay for good good healthy food. Treat yourself every now and again. Thumbs up for being women black owned. I support you 💯.

First time visit. It wasn't the most welcoming experience. Was visiting Atlanta and looked up natural health conscious places to get food. This was a local business, so I did a big detour to come Ordered a pattie it tasted ok, but dough was stale and hard to chew. Ordered a smoothie, it consisted mainly of ice and tasted as such. Prices in the store were very expensive and I was overall disappointed with what I received in both produce and service. One thing I'm grateful for is that this unfortunate experience motivated me to go visit the other health conscious restaurant down the street, and they were AMAZING and kind. So it made up for this !

Ugh my favorite. The store has everything and I love to browse while I wait for my order. I always try to get a veggie patty and typically get the soursop smoothie. Sometimes the people at the register arent the most welcoming and last time I went the young lady suggested I buy a premade smoothie instead of ordering one because it was more for less money but Im not sure lol. Overall recommend and I try to tell everyone I know about it!

I've always loved Wadadas for their smoothie bar. There are very limited health food options in southwest atlanta so I loved that they are conveniently placed near the AUC and opened 7 days a week. They also have a free parking lot located on the side of the building and some seating inside but definitely more of a grab and go vibe. I recently went and they weren't open, but the hours listed on google are incorrect. If you are planning a visit, be sure to go to their website to find the accurate hours listed (9am-9pm everyday).

Discovered this place from an Instagram post. Black Woman owned -which i LOVE- so I may be back to support; however there are a couple things to note from my recent experience: Pros: They have a full menu of vegan options from smoothies, hot meal items, desserts and juices. 90% of all of their grocery products are Black owned A huge variety of household, lifestyle and grocery/pantry items available at reasonable prices (and comparable to the big box stores) The not so great: Limited parking on the side of the building The (young female) cashier had an verbal (loud) altercation with the (elderly lady) customer in front of us. Not professional or very customer service friendly. The cashier accused the customer of purposely spilling a drink on her and the customer accused the cashier of being rude...outside looking in- they were both partially right and wrong. The only issue is that being a customer facing business, I feel like the cashier could've and should've handled it differently. That being said, by the time it was time for us to order, the cashier's overall disposition was not that pleasant. It was evident that she was still bothered by the previous altercation. As I was ordering, I asked her what was in the "golden veggie patty" and she responded quite curtly that she didn't know. She made no attempt to ask any of the other 3 employees next to her (and they didn't intervene to say anything either- being that it was a tight space I'd assume a couple of them overheard.) We ended up just getting the veggie fish and veggie chicken patties. According to the menu, the patties were $4, however I was charged $5.95 each. While they were good, I'm not sure which was which. They both tasted and looked the same on the inside and they put them both in the same singular paper pouch with no labeling on the outside.

Wow! I've owned a business in this area for years ( Cake & Sip Atlanta-A DIY Cake decorating experience) and have never been here until today! I'm so happy I stopped inside, and to my amazement it was more than just the smoothie I was looking for. They had different vegan food options , fresh juices, vegan black author books, herbs, natural detergent and so much more. This place is truly an experience in the West End! A couple things I tried were: 1) Build my own smoothie- Strawberries, banana, mango and protein powder (9 out of 10!!) 2) Vegan Chowder- 9-10! So deliciously flavorful 3) Vegan Lasagna- 7-10! Not bad but lacking seasoning 4) Pre-Made Kale Salad- 5-10 Lacking flavor My total came out to $36 All and all this place will see me time and time again!! I'm so excited to continue to make my way down the menu. Thank you to the amazing staff Kaiya who assisted me and allowed me to try their versions options. I'll be back for the vegan blueberry cheesecake ice cream ! RUN Don't WALK HERE EVERYONE

I placed an order for food and a drink. I waited for my food after I received my drink and saw multiple guest who placed orders after me received their food before me. When I asked the girl doing the food how long it would talk she asked me what I got and said she was not told to make it. When I eventually received it, it was incomplete. I went back wanting a refund but the girl attached he register said she doesn't know how to do that. I watched as people who ordered some of the same items as me after me received their food. This felt like discrimination against me and my same sex partner. I will never patron this establishment again. I am a patient person but I do not appreciate being treated like this. I make a conscious effort to support all of the vegan businesses in the west end but I will remove this one from my list.

She's complaining to her coworker about how it won't mix right and that's it's pissing her off and can't wait to clock out.. all while we are right there. I lucked up on this restaurant on Thanksgiving day as I was working in the area and they were the only place nearby that was open. When walking in, there does appears to be a lot going on. The first section immediately walking in is the juice bar, hot bar, and some more refrigerated drinks on the right. I'm the middle, you have the shop where you can purchase your natural health essentials like incense, soap, vitamins, etc. In the back, you have another section where you can purchase more vegan/vegetarian food. Ultimately, I ended up purchasing the callaloo patty (that's gluten free), a juice, and a raw donut (not shown) that's located in the first section. This was my first time having callaloo and a gluten free Jamaican patty so I was impressed, and thankful cause that gluten free items were available. I only wished that the patty was stuffed more with callaloo filling but overall, I still recommend it. They have another gluten free patty on the menu as well, but I can't remember the name. I would recommend checking their website for food allergies before placing your order. They guy at the counter was helpful with questions about menu items.

I've heard great things about this black owned business in the West End and decided to check it out and see what they had to offer. They have smoothies, snacks, vegan options, and health and wellness. So while in the area I decided to give Wadada a try. Veggie patty Spinach patty Purple reign Acai, blueberries, seamless, ginger, coconut milk, banana, apple, dates, and agave That chocolate vegan was there that afternoon so I decided to try her fried fish plate which also came with kale & Mac n cheese so delicious. I've been here so many times, how have I yet to leave a review of this unique and wonderful establishment?! I'm trippin'! This is your go to spot if you need any nourishment pertaining to your well being. Physically, spiritually and mentally. Such a wonderful place to be! Whenever I visit the music is always dope and the people friendly and accommodating. The shelves are stocked with indigenous owned products that will do you no harm. From True laundry detergent (indigenous woman owned) to Naditu Ma'at Heart and Soul Essentials Shea butters....and so much more. You need some herbs? Wadada has got it! You need some food? Wadada has got it! You need books, toothpaste or tinctures? Look y'all, Wadada has got it and then some! This is your one stop shop in the community to support the community. Don't miss out on this experience and opportunity. Oh, did I mention Wadada is owned by an indigenous woman? You better go get you some of this wonderfulness! I am a stickler for their soursop sip smoothies. While I am writing this review I am also sitting in awe of how wonderful I smell from the Shea butter I purchased. I can't wait to try my body and hair oils. I love this place. We must protect it and our women at all costs. Look at the joy, togetherness, support and love provided in this one space. Imagine what our world would be like if we can amplify what has been accomplished here. Stop playing and go support!!!

I was in the area running errands and got famished. This is a vegan/vegetarian spot that I might not have typically tried if it was a regular day, however I'm glad that I did. It's a nice vibe in here. It's a juice bar/take out/store. The juice menu can be a bit overwhelming but I appreciated the variety. The vegan soup (I think it was vegan shrimp chowder) it was packing with Flavor. Not pictured was a vegan chocolate cake that was delish. Overall I spent about $20.00 on soup, a cake, and a bottle of alkaline water. I would totally stop back by here if I'm in the area and not starving so that way I don't over spend Lolol!

Ok let's get straight to it. Pros: The atmosphere was warm and very inviting, the customer service was great. The young lady that servEd me today was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. She even took the time to call the chef and ask a question about the cheese for me so when someone goes above and beyond in this day and age it is very much appreciated. I had a taste test of the Mac n cheese and it was actually delicious, the spinach patty was ok but spicy (which I am not a fan of). Cons: I'm all for culture but I am not a fan of this location, parking was extremely tight and my piece of lasagna was a lot smaller than expected and it tasted ok (I didn't bother eating all of it and it wasn't cheap either). I didn't like how it's called a market because it had me thinking it was similar to a grocery store (supermarket as us up north people say), so once inside I realized the word "market" was more in reference to being able to purchase food, juice, pants, sweatshirts, waist beads and things of that sort. I gave it four stars mainly for the customer service and since that location is easily an hour drive I'm not sure if I'll return.

Unfortunately I didn't like this place at all. Their menu is really confusing, very specifically their build-your-own menu. A smoothie that would usually include one base milk choice, 3 base fruits, 2 choices of greens, 3 choices of specialty things does not include all of that. Everything is extra. The smoothie didn't taste like anything out of this world. They do offer other items like vegan patties, pastries, and drinks. It's a Caribbean vegan spot and I think the other items I didn't get to try would be better than the smoothies they offer there.

This place has great smoothies. I like to walk up there for a smoothy in the morning. I have had the Purple Reign, Pina Passion and then a build your own with mangoes, strawberry, pineapple, almond milk, sea moss, and agave. Honestly I suggest getting a smoothie off the wall. They are up there for a reason, the flavor profile was much better on the purple reign and pina passion than on the one I created. They have other products like a huge jug of alkaline water in glass which is key. They also have veggie and spinach patties that are good. The texture has more chew and crisp than a traditional Jamaican pattie. The lemonades are good as well as the strawberry Rice Krispie treats. Great spot for healthy options right in the city!

I love this little black-owned gem in the West End. The sell smoothies, snacks, ice-cream (incl vegan options), jewelry and other black-owned brands. I wanted a superfood seamoss smoothie, so I ordered the Sour Sop Sip. SO GOOD! Reminded me of a pina colada, but had all healthy ingredients - sour sop, chia seeds, ginger seamoss, coconut milk, apple dates, spices, agave and banana. There were vendors selling handmade jewelry on the right side when you walk in. I loved the market vibe. A great addition to the little black-owned vegan community that they're building in the West End!

This little gem in the WestEnd is the perfect smoothie, snack, and overall wellness store. My favorite meal is the Piña Passion smoothie with a veggie patty. I have had a few veggie patties (like a beef patty), but Wadada has the best flaky, soft, melt in your mouth delicious taste. They also carry other local businesses drinks like Majestea and Moon Jug Water along with healthy snacks. Everytime I have been in there theres has also been vendors selling jewelry, clothes, incense, etc. It is really a one stop shop for all of your health necessities. Tip: There is additional parking in the back c xx of the building past the narrow side alley.

This is a Black owned one stop shop in West End for healthy food/snacks, select produce, female hygiene products, cleaning supplies and self-care/love items (candles, crystals, oils, incense, etc). Almost everything sold in Wadada's is made by a Black owned business which is SUPER hard to find. The food itself is absolutely delicious. I'm not vegan, but I've had all their cakes, every time of patty, lasagna, juices and teas/lemonades and some of the soups. Highly recommend this place if you are in the areas!

For the most part i come for the smoothies and food. I always enjoy the atmosphere although parking is real tight so be mindful. The only real con i have is that the prices seem to change at their whim and are often marked differently in various places at the same time. Smh. Also word of advice: if you are big on pandemic awareness wear your mask because they do not adhere to covid policy at all. No distancing and no mask wearing.

This place has great smoothies and fresh smoothies. I got the purple reign without bananas and it was awesome! Real heavy on the ginger though. Never had a smoothie with sea moss, but it was good. The fresh juices has all the ingredients you need to boost your immune system. They don't require mask to enter, but I advise you to wear one. Will definitely be back again.

We stopped here this past Saturday and I must say that we were thoroughly impressed. They offer "meat free" dishes that are out of this world good. We both tried the veggie lasagna as well as the calaloo patties. Both were fresh aNd delicious. Wadada also offers vegan cakes, pies and ice cream. My only gripe about this establishment is its limited seating. Can't wait to get back!

I would have loved to experience the juices/smoothies, however after staining outside in the 40 degree winter weather for 10+ minutes, signaling to the young lady and owner in the store trying to figure out what time they opened this morning at 9:45, they rudely turned off the lights and walked away. When in the road . This is my "go to" favorite. The BossMoss is nothing short of amazing. So similar to what I make at home . Haven't tried their food but the customer service is great
