Went here for the first time this past Friday, after work, for a "coworkers happy hour". After driving up and down Agoura Road 2-3 times, I was finally able to locate the parking lot. I must say, never in a million years would I ever think to come to this area, let alone believe someone if they told me that a wine-beer bar was located where this place is.
Once parked, I found myself wandering around looking for this supposed establishment, until bam! There is was, at least I thought so. Walking in, I was slightly confused, as it looked like a warehouse-like liquor store. A friendly host happily showed me the way to the bar (on the right hand side), and I quickly saw my coworkers seated at one of their many elevated tables.
Once seated, I found myself immediately impressed by the atmosphere and ambiance. The decor was top notch, and there was truly a lot to take in. Each table is given bottomless FREE pretzels, which served as a nice appetizer and snack throughout our stay here.
The menu was equally impressive, with over 100 beers on tap, and countless wines available to taste. I am mostly a beer drinker, so that's what I went for. The beer list is conveniently organized by style, and it was easy/intuitive to find what I was looking for. Reasonably priced pints ranging anywhere from $6-10+, left me happy. Tasters were available, which come as 4 4-oz pours, which is a cool option if you're looking to explore or try something new, but I found the pints to be the better deal. After a couple IPAs, I was ready to leave and get the night started.
Service here was nothing but quick, friendly, and attentive. The only slip-up was that one of the servers switched my beer with someone else's, so I had to awkwardly trade it with my coworker after we had both already had a drink from each other's. I will give that a pass.
Parking is free, easy, and abundant. Finding the place is a fun challenge if it's your first time. Take my tip if not down for a scavenger hunt: Once in the parking lot, drive all the way to the end, and turn left. Wades Wines faces the freeway, and you'll see it on your left.
