Let me start off by saying that I am a wafels and dinges super fan as I used to follow their only food truck around to their every location many moons ago. They happened to open up a store by my home and I come at 9:30 pm on Friday 1/6/23 and it’s closed!! As their google says they close at 11 pm. This is an extreme disappointment.

Maybe it’s inconsistent across different spots. Their other spot next to Macy’s used to make it fresh, and it’s so good. This one … literally heated up a pre-made waffle with 5s and gave to us, it tasted drastically different … disappointed. If you go, make sure you ask for fresh one.

I love this place, whenever I travel to New York I have to visit them! Best waffles and hot chocolate in the US.

Mediocre waffles don’t taste fresh, the lemonade tastes like Tropicana from the grocery store, and it’s the most overpriced food I’ve had this year.

Can’t. Stop. Eating. Them! Ordered their WMD and Turtle waffles. Phenomenal flavor! Made fresh in front of you, and great customer service.

Wmd waffles is very nice and fresh. Only downside is there is no indoor seating available.

Super unimpressed with the food here. Got the churro waffle and it was very tough, lacking in flavor. My fiancé got the maple bacon bourbon or whatever option it was. All I could taste was the butane or whatever fuel from the fire torch they used to crisp up the bacon. For the price and the flavor and toughness of the waffles, I'd never return here.

This was a nice little stop. Waffles are delish. Got a sleeve of almond and another seasonal cinnamon flavor. My friend got the praline one.

After walking all over the city we were happy to come across this window and have a treat and a place to take a seat and rest while enjoying these lovely waffles. Staff were very friendly.

Felt like indulging in something sweet, so I got a Wham Bam Wafel for $10.72, including tax. It includes: Wafelini, Spekuloos Spread, Spekuloos Cookies and Cream Ice Cream, Chocolate Fudge, Whipped Cream, Cookie Crumble, and Spekuloos Cookie. The waffle was light and fluffy with a slight out crisp, the whipped cream was barely sweet which was good because something was a bit toooo sweet? I'm guessing maybe it was the chocolate fudge that didn't taste too chocolatey, not sure. That one was not for me, but I'm looking forward to trying the WMD (Waffle of Massive Deliciousness) which I didn't get because it seemed too healthy with strawberries and bananas for what I was craving. Lol Technically, I'm giving it a 3 1/2 star today but rounded up assuming I'm going to really enjoy the WMD, plus it's a new business and should be given a chance!

Profound disappointment at this lackluster waffle in defiance of its stellar reputation. I tried the WMD which looked fantastic, but was served on a cardboard tray without a layer of wax paper. Trying to eat this outside (no indoor seating) on a blustery winter day was a task in need of heavy machinery rather than the plastic cutlery provided. The waffle was flavorless, stiff and adhered to the cardboard. I'm still perplexed at how an iconic Belgian waffle so struggled to perform. The only redeeming claim it had was to the nice complement of toppings. Perhaps it was an off day. I will not be returning.
