Very delicious Belgian waffles. Several topping choices. High quality ingredients. Simple beautiful presentation. Highly recommended.

If you are a waffle lovers, this place is a must-visit. The atmosphere is casual, outdoors tables on Bryant Park. They offer mostly sweet waffles and coffee. I tried their WMD waffle and it was delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. Business hours on Google Maps need to be updated and there is no sign when the place is open in the establishment. Credit cards accepted.

Food was lovely, easy to order via the screens. Great to see options for gluten free waffles. Absolutely delicious. Very filling.

Had the churro waffle. Was asked if we wanted whipped cream without being told there was an extra charge for it. Waffle tasted good but it’s on the pricey side for a dessert. Worth trying at least once.

Paid 30 dollars for 2 waffels. They were ok but definitely not worth the price. Also they forgot to give add the dulce de leche and I had to ask, only to find out it was just a tiny drizzle. Waffles were cold as well.

I love this outlet of W&D. The staff is nice and usually accommodates some changes. The seating at the entrance of the park is amazing, you can see the hustle and bustle of the offices on one side and people enjoying the park on the other. During the afternoon you also get some sunlight as you enjoy the waffles. As the shop is small there are times your choice might not be available so do check before deciding.

The kiosk is conveniently located by Bryant Park. Seating options are available under the trees which make it a lovely place to relax. The food was just okay.

This place is very close to Bryant Park and a great pick me up while you're nearby for a stroll. They have a ton of waffles and the toppings are so customizeable. I love the WMD - it's a combo of waffles with strawberries, bananas, and chocolate! Simply nuclear! (lol... I was told this stands for waffle of mass destruction, but I'm not sure how true that is)! The only trying that I don't like though is that there isn't much seating around. Most days it's okay, because you can find a random bench. We just happened to be walking by towards grand central station, decided to stop for a bite. It's a cute little outdoor stand, with ample seating, The cashier was helpful in explaining the menu and the coffee milk options. We got the WMD, it was absolutely delicious. Give them a try if you happen to be in the area!

Late night munchies! Always a great stop for when you get tired walking the streets of New York. We found ourselves taking a quick break here after doing 15k steps. It is a couple blocks away from Times Square. The waffles here are Belgian style - yeasted batter with pearl sugar, the type of waffle I like the most. They have lots of toppings to choose from but we like it simple, just the waffles and nothing else. It was soft yet with a bit of chew and the right amount of sweetness. Not sure what time they close, Yelp says 10pm but it was almost midnight when we went and it did not look they were about to close shop.

I wanted to indulge and satisfy my craving after work by having this delicious Belgian waffle . They started as a food truck and gladly opened a location at Bryant park . Was in Belgium last year and with my sweet tooth was enamored by the waffle which was available in every street corner . Don't be fooled as it's not the waffle one is used to . It's thinner and sweeter with a caramelized coating . It's most popular with the speculoos but is equally as delicious with any topping of your choice ( I like mine with dulce de leche but have seen others enjoy theirs with fruits , whipped cream and chocolate syrup). I suggest buying one and finding a space In the park to enjoy every bite while people watching

Wafels & Dinges in Bryant Park was a tasty treat with plenty of seating available. I tried the churro style waffle, and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and relatively friendly. Very cool location to grab a snack and sit in the park.

There are a lot of locations near the parks. The food was good but the seating was near trashcans and restrooms. The lemonade with mint had way too much mint. The waffles were tasty and the fruit was fresh.

Stopped at this small wafels and dinges as i wanted something sweet and ive never had their items before. I got the Churro waffle. I initially wanted the apple pie waffle but they did not have the ingredients. They were nice about letting me know. I ordered and it took about 3 minutes to have the waffle ready. Since it was at the corner of the prk there were lots of seating even seating for their little location as well. The churro waffle was sweet and the waffle itself was fresh and soft. It was yummy. Have to return to try other items.

Really enjoyed this pop up shop in Bryant Park! Very crispy, fresh and flavorful waffles (I mean wafels). Easy tablet order, within reason for the amount of food you get. Definitely worth a try on your way to Times Square as it's 2 blocks away.

Great waffle! Got a waffle with banana, strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate sauce! It was a good dessert. Ordering was quick and the waffle was ready shortly after. They have high top seating for those who want to sit and eat. Lovely pop up spot to sit outside and enjoy Bryant park

Mmmm yeah, these are just kind of okay overall. I've had belgian waffles+ ice cream in Europe and it basically doesn't really compare, the ones over there are FAR superior. The ones here don't have the best crispy texture and I'm not sure why, but there's a certain taste to it that I can't pinpoint that isn't.... right. Like it doesn't have the sweet, almost caramelly flavor that goes along with the Belgian waffle, and for some reason, the vanilla ice cream that it was topped with didn't end up tasting like anything which was really puzzling to me. Considering you're paying likely twice what you would in Belgium, I gather say, quite disappointed.

We have been coming here for the last 10 years and it's always delicious and satisfies the craving! This time we didn't see my favorite waffle - the throw down on the menu anymore but the amazing staff still offered to make it! We will definitely return as usual!

Honestly the deliciousness of this place shocked and surprised me. At first glance this looks like just another run of the mill overpriced generic NYC food stand like any other walk up stand or cart in the city sitting on the edge of Bryant Park. I've walked by this place many many times over the years never really caring to try them. Finally yesterday after walking around enjoying the NYC Christmas lights and attractions for the first time this season and after eating some NYC pizza slices that were on the saltier side I decided I needed some hot chocolate to combat the cold and something sweet to balance the salty pizza out. I ordered a large Belgian hot chocolate and being a caramel lover I ordered a dulce de leche Belgian waffle. They are pretty busy especially this time of year with the Bryant Park Holiday Market having the park overrun with vendors and swarms of tourists however, my order was out within 3 minutes which was my first pleasant surprise. I had honestly expected to wait at least 10 minutes minimum to get my order. The hot chocolate was not bad but the dulce de leche waffle was perfection!! So warm, soft, chewy, moist and loaded with flavor with the perfect amount of topping. I had honestly expected to get something dry and flavorless along the lines of what you get when you make a Belgian waffle for breakfast at a hotel continental breakfast when they have the do it yourself waffle griddle. The waffle was so good I found myself licking the cardboard tray holder clean! I will always admit in any food review that I do when I felt something was mediocre but this was not that! I really recommend stopping here if you're passing by and have the time to try one of their waffles! You may just leave as surprised as I did with what your taste buds just experienced.

I had this for the first time and I been thinking about it since! Fast service, waffle is warm and toppings are delicious! The one I got had cookie butter, strawberries, and whip cream. The waffle is the perfect size to share with someone. I can't wait to try more of their flavors!

Most of the words below are picked from my previous reviews. I am so sad to see the cart gone from Grand Army Plaza at Central Park and even the cart that was usually in the park seems to be gone. Well, at least there is a fixed location in Bryant! Having enjoyed a 'Brussels Wafels' in Belgium it was super nice to be able to return to the experience here US. The carts offered a quirky experience to a number of great options for ordering a waffle. I have tried the Belgian chocolate fudge, the Nutella, and the spekuloos all as a single dinges on a waffle on different occasions and all of them were simply great. My favorite over the years has boiled down to simply the spekuloos on a mini waffle. The minis used to be really hard to find at the carts, so I am glad to see them here and seemingly available all the time. If you have never tried Wafels & Dinges before and think you know what a waffle is, then, stop, just get one from here, and it might just change your mind entirely.

Haven't had Wafels and Dinges since I moved away 10 years ago. My visit to the city after all these years today were complete once I had this! I decided to go with the wham bam waffle. AMAZING!!! It tastes better than it did years ago. It's also a great place to get a Belgian waffle as you can take a seat at any of the tables in the park and enjoy the sunset/people watch. My order came out quickly and was worth every penny! Until next time...

Horrible service. It was crazy busy and I couldn't hear the guy calling my name. He was also mispronouncing it. When I asked him what name he was calling he was so rude and yelled, "Oh my god." as he rolled his eyes. And I'd even left them a big tip when I placed my order. Plus, for the price you could at least put decent whipped cream on your waffles and not the cheap stuff from a can.

A wafel in Bryant park is a great way to start the day. I got mine with strawberries. The park is great for people watching and close to NYPL.

Amazing waffles made when ordered. We tried the churro waffle and vanilla lattes. Enjoyed this special breakfast at Bryant Park location. They give you little cookies to go with the coffee. They have multiple locations around the city. Enjoyed this for a quick on the go breakfast but would also be great for dessert!

The long-standing Belgian waffle place has finally set up shop more permanently and Brian Park and has been there for quite a while now. I had this for the first time almost a decade ago I would say and I came back again today to see if the quality is the same and it really is. Do you have this robust Glazy waffle on the outside with a nice sugary crispiness to it without being crunchy and the inside is a little Kiki and I think it's because of these waffles might be dipped in syrup or something. They have a lot of premade options but my go to was and is a waffle with Nutella and strawberries. The strawberries they use are quite fresh juicy and sweet and waffle itself is not overly sweet which makes the Nutella and powdered sugar on top less of an issue. Don't sleep on this place just because it's posted up in Bryant Park in a stall; it stands tall amongst some other great names like breads bakery and this is definitely an authentic New York City eat that I'm glad is posted up in one of the best parks in New York.

Solid option for a sweet tooth craving if you're near lively Bryant Park especially after walking around the Christmas Market booths. Staff was friendly and efficient with the order. A bit expensive, but it's the middle of New York City, but I enjoyed my waffle.

Upon waking up from my diabetic coma, as a result of this dessert brick and mortar joint, I think I can write this up without feeling faint. Oh boy. I am feeling it now, I have to make it quick! What a treat. Lovely waffles, lively location, excellent quality of everything in this bad boy, hence the name of the waffle I got, Double Trouble. I also got a small hot chocolate with the works so I can enjoy something hot with this already gorgeous dessert. Get this in the winter months so you really get in the holiday spirit. The friendly staff will hold your hand every step of the way. Now go to Bryant Park and eat this and tell the others what you just saw!

Every time I go to NY, I crave to go to this place and finally was able to get it! It has the perfect location (right in front of Bryant Park). Their are a small amount of chairs and tables for you to sit at and eat. I ordered the de bom wafel, which is the ice cream and hot fudge on the Belgian waffle. We also asked to get strawberries on it. The whopping total came out to be $15.50! The strawberries were an extra $2.00 but the price is still astronomical. Luckily, me and my friend split it. Aside from the cost, this wafel exceeded all my expectations, it was sooo good! The Belgian waffle was made so well, it was crispy and soft at the same time. The entire combination tasted so well together and the strawberries were definitely worth the $2.00 because it just added a fruity flavor to it. Also have to note that the person who made it really took their time making it! I don't know if I would get it again because of the price but it's definitely something everyone has to try at least once when in NY! Ordered: November 9, 2022 via Dining-In

Great stuff. I like whatever I tried from there so far. It's a little different than your usual dessert. Service is average. Chairs and tables are available outside of the truck. Great for people watching.

I added a shot of espresso to my hot chocolate and it was so perfect. The chocolate was so rich and delicious. I also ordered waffles and the hazelnut spread(have not tried yet). The waffles had the perfect crisp outside and the sweet soft inside. It was a little pricey but not bad. I had to get it on my last day in NY!

These waffles are so good!! Service is pretty fast even when the long is line. It's a street vendor located in Bryant Park. The waffle I decided to order was delicious, warm and nicely toasted! If you're ever in Bryant Park try this place put! The waffles were awesome

De Bom with ice cream and chocolate on waffle was pleasant for the enjoyable park outing. Convenient spot to park a venue for a lovely lounge time. Other waffle flavor selections. Wonderful ambiance.

First off, location is amazing! You get to enjoy your delicious waffle with beautiful views of a lively city - photos are attached, but they don't do the experience justice! Shared the s'mores waffle and churro waffle - both were packed with chocolatey and caramel flavors, respectively. If you like your desserts on the sweeter side, you'll love them! The s'mores waffle had a lot of marshmallows, and the churro waffle had a lot of dulce de leche syrup and cinnamon...yum! I recommend having water or something to wash down the waffles, as each bite is somewhat thick with the syrup.

A forever favorite! So many mouthwatering waffle combinations here. Nothing like biting in while they're freshly made... lightly crisped on the outside - warm, soft and fluffy on the inside. Although I've loved W&D for years and years now, I just tried the churro waffle for the first time this weekend and nearly died. So, SO good. For me, what's perfect is that they have the mini waffles. Sometimes, a little taste is all you want. Honestly, unless I'm sharing, the mini the perfect portion size. Craving it again already!

I have no idea what a dinge is... but these waffles are LEGIT. Can't go wrong with a warm waffle with cookie butter on a cold day in Bryant Park.

I've heard about wafels and dinges for the first time back in 2011. I've always wanted to try them out. But, was never in the same vicinity as them. I know they have the wafels and dinges truck that station I various places. Well tada fast forward to 2022. I finally had my first taste of the Wafels & Dinges in Bryant Park. Let me tell you that the wafels were crispy on the outside and soft and buttery in the inside. It was topped with peanut butter, strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. It was so delicious and the first bite became a party in my mouth. Oh my Gosh! So delicious. Wish we had a wafels and dinges near me. I would go there every week for my cheat day if there was.

Very good. I wasn't expecting the waffle itself to be as sweet and gooey as it was. It almost tastes like a s'more. I also got a hot chocolate with marshmallow and chocolate shavings. The hot chocolate was the winner!

I saw this on Instagram on a Friday morning, hopped in the car, and drove up to NY with the husband for a weekend getaway. Totally worth it. Each bite was mm mm mm!! Not too sweet but sweet enough to satisfy your sugary cravings. =P It was pretty busy when we went but service was quick and efficient. Didn't wait long for everything to come out. They have tables and chairs but take some wet wipes. Besides it being naturally dirty from being outdoors, a few tables were sticky from the previous people. Lol. Parking is.... It's NY. ;) Park wherever you can and hop on the subway/train.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. The waffles. The ice cream. The cappuccinos. This is where I first fell in love with Speculoos ice cream. The seating is very limited in the Park shop, just venture out to the other seats. They have an option to order at a screen and pick up at the side.

The Gingerbread Cookie Ice Cream is so good! The Gingerspread spice isnt overwhelming & its not extremely sweet. Nice & creamy ice cream. I love Gingerbread Cookies! Making it into an Ice Cream flavor is a genius idea! I'm pretty much salivating right now. If only it wasnt the middle of winter & the middle of a pandemic.

Used to be pretty good so I was excited to see them at Bryant Park and ordered a waffle with strawberries and ice cream. Super expensive and possibly the worst waffle I've had. It was stale, almost broke the fork. Had to let the ice cream melt a bit to soften it up enough to cut. $25 for one waffle and an iced coffee. At least, it should be an amazing waffle. I would have returned it but my group left me with our bags and so I got to just watch as the ice cream melted. Miss this spot if you can - there's other options to satiate your hunger nearby that can do a better job for less than the cost of a dinner entrée.

Just wanted a drink - they added on their own tip for handing it to me. Wont stop here again.

Now, this wasn't the place I originally went to, but they were so nice and helpful. I originally went to the shop in the park, they had a an ice ring set up nearby. But the female there was rude and had the audacity to talk shit after I asked if I place an order through the app or through the cashier. She told me the app and was upset when I placed an order. Well, she talked little bit of crap about me in Spanish, thinking I didn't understand Spanish to someone on the phone. But after I spoke to her in Spanish, her attitude completely changed and directed me to the shop on the corner. Now the place on the corner was great, nice, helpful, and even apologetic. Stay away from the one in the park, the woman with the arm tattoos is rude and unprofessional.

This was a great dinner before ice skating at Bryant Park! I had the smores waffle, which was rife with richly flavored toppings. A speckuloos spread represented the 'graham cracker' flavor, and there was also a layer of chocolate and a heaping of marshmallows. I did not feel ripped off at ALL when it came to toppings like I do at some other restaurants! I would definitely come back here.

I ordered Wafels frkm Wafels & Dinges! It makes a good Holiday present or even a birthday present! It comes with a pretty box! And they deliver on time!! I found out that to make it taste good and fresh is to heat it on your own Belgian Waffle maker. I am very happy to have discovered to keep it crunch and soft inside. Just match the squares on your own pre-heated waffle maker. And if you eat them still slightly warm - it is crunch because of the sugar and soft inside. Delicious like fresh!

the waffle was crispy on the outside and chewy on inside with little sugary bits, super yum! the fruit was also pretty fresh, but we thought the whipped cream was ice cream so make sure you know what you're getting before ordering :,)

Came across this place because we went to Bryant Park. It was nice this was located there because we were able to eat our dessert and enjoy our time at the there. We ordered a waffle with spekuloos spread. It was good BUT too sweet for me. I couldn't help my husband eat it. I would recommend to try the place out. There are other options! It's nice to eat it while you sit at the park.
