Waffle House

Just bought dinner after a 6 hr drive. The waitress wasn't very nice, and looked like she was on something. The cook was ok, not very talkative, however I got the cheese steak melt plate with chunked, covered, peppered, and fixed hashbrowns. Got half an order of burnt plain hash browns. I would not recommend this place. pick a different waffle house. Paid 70 bucks for that.

Travelers beware! This place should be condemned. I would have given this place a zero, but it wasn’t an option. This place was so filthy . The tables were dirty, floors, chairs, benches and the grill they were cooking on was burnt, which made the food have pieces of burnt chips in it. The worker were dirty as well. If you are ever in Amarillo TX do not stop here. Even if they give the food away for free, I would run from this place. This is the worse place, thus far, that I have stopped at. Sorry no pictures, I would have had to snap someone else’s food.

Always an Amarillo/Canyon trip favorite. Poor waitress had far too many customers to handle and we saw two tables walk out instead of waiting. The waitress seriously did her best despite overwhelming understaffing. The Sunday night crowd filled at least 3/4 of the booths and counter. But the food was exactly as ordered despite the wait.

The food, service, and ambiance of this Waffle House here are amazing. As soon as we entered, the service was amazing and efficient. After my meal order was taken, I was sitting there 2-3 minutes, and then the food arrived. It was all very delicious and tasty. I ordered The Cheesesteak Bowl because I like those, and they're great. The kind people attending each and every customer are too kind 😊 and helpful. I wish to go here if I ever visit this part of Texas again, Amarillo. My travels through the panhandle are limited, but if I ever embark on another journey through here, I will visit this exact Waffle House. The view outside of the windows is great, and I liked viewing, broadcasting, spectating, and watching the exterior of this exact, precise Waffle House. I am very amazed by how cool it was to be here and I like this place. The quantity of times that I will explore this part of the great state of Texas is unknown, but we shall see, and I will try to come here if I ever go up to Northern Texas ever again. I don't find anything to do often up here, as it is only a passing through city for me. That may or may not change in the near or far future. The course of events in the future is often unknown and unpredictable. We shall wait and eventually find out whether or not this sort of event will ever happen in the future, again.

Crazy, thou it's true.... I had not stepped into a Waffle House since March 13, 2019 Long story... Thou I finally needed to take that Huge step, as I did on October 1, 2022 where I was welcomed with friendly smiles and a few tears. My daughter once worked at Waffle House and she made the BEST decaffeinated coffee, for me.. thou she is no longer on this earth, I could not take myself to step into another Waffle House, Until the other night.. The ladies who worked that night were amazing, as one made a pot of decaffeinated coffee just for me.. It was not like what my daughter made, Although, it sure hit the spo!!... Thank you to those ladies who welcomed me and talked with us. Stop by, say hello, grab something to eat, if not have some coffee!! Hope this helps those who are looking for a place to eat and have some coffee... Blessings ⚓️

My favorite waffle house in town. My only suggestion is please clean the windows inside the restaurant. Those sides are so full of old food, grease and dead flies.

Went for breakfast. The waitress took my order, brought my order and my ticket. NEVER asked if I needed any condiments (there was no pepper or sweetener on the table). She was on her phone with her back to me the entire time! My teabag broke and another waitress came after I tried to get my waitress's attention. They wanted to charge me for another tea bag but I told her the first one broke so they did not charge me. The holder for the condiments was greasy dirty. I will go to Waffle House again because I do enjoy the food. I will NOT be going back to that one.
