Waffle House

National chain known for waffles and hashbrowns and rightfully so. The blueberry waffle was perfectly cooked and delicious. The hashbrowns are some of the best around. Everyone should incorporate onions for a little enhanced flavor. I also had them with cheese and ham. There are other toppings available as well. You can mix and match as you please. The coffee is good here too. It's nice that they're still open 24 hours. Service was very good - fast, friendly and attentive. The whole staff on duty was nice when I was there. The space is the standard Waffle House design with counter service and a few booths. There is no Wi-Fi. Parking is not a problem.

This was the best experience at a waffle house, they typically are great however today was Amazing, Jennifer was a wonderful, impressive, unapologetically authentic like a breathe of fresh air. Kelly who wasn't serving us greeted us right away and got our drinks, getting refills was easy and the food great as well. I seen team work, and this team killed it. The cooks were even looking like they enjoyed there job and literally everyone greeted us with a smile. What a wonderful place, I do drive 30 mins to come to this one because the people who work here make me feel like family. They should get raises!

From out of town & this was the best restaurant breakfast I’ve ever had in my life! Superb, refreshing & delicious. I didn’t have to add any salt, pepper, ketchup or anything. Compliments to the chef! so thankful!

Not too sure what happened but I haven’t been to Waffle House in years. Was craving some breakfast food and everyone here was really nice and friendly but about 10 minutes after eating my stomach immediately started to turn. Pretty sure they didn’t cook my food all the way through but I’ve been going back and forth to the bathroom all day… pretty sure it’s food poisoning. Make sure to check the temps of the food please :(

Love this restaurant and go there often. Today was a different story. There was a lady that brought a pitbull puppy in and sat at a table. The puppy was licking and climbing on the table and there was a small dog dish that was on the table with water for the puppy. As we were leaving the puppy was licking the napkin holder and salt and pepper shaker. With all the employees working at that time I was shocked to see no one said anything. This is not okay.

I love Waffle House. I always try to have breakfast at one when traveling in areas they are located. The service at this one was great, the servers were very attentive and welcoming. The coffee was hot and delicious. Although we had to wait a few minutes for a table to be cleared, once we sat down and ordered our food got to our table quickly. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, the pancakes were fluffy and satisfying. We left happy and full. I always get the breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and pancakes, it never disappoints. If you’re looking for some classic American breakfast, this is the place! It’s a little cramped at times but the food is worth it.

July 17, 2025 2:00 am I got into town late and wanted to try Waffle House. It’s the closest one to the Comfort Inn on Iliff.. I had never been to this one before and was surprised to find you can not sit inside after a certain time of the evening. I found that to be disappointing, but I understood why after talking to one of the ladies that work there. I wish I knew her name as she was friendly and efficient. The cook was doing his thing and seemed to be good at his job. The only disappointment I had with the food was that the hash browns tasted like a dirty grille. The eggs were perfect, the raisin bread was decent, and the wait time was decent as there were three other groups ahead of me. I wish the Hash Browns didn’t have that overwhelming smell. It was a real turnoff. Other than that, everything was fine. I usually take a picture of my meal or the receipt. Sometime I’ll even get a picture of the business, too. I didn’t do any of this as I had driven nonstop from DFW, Texas.

Lovely American restaurant. Loved their breakfast. Had waffles, bacon, eggs and toast. The lady who served us was really nice and friendly. The ambiance was great. A really nice place to grab a quick bite over coffee with some friends. And it’s very pocket friendly too. Had a really nice experience. Totally recommend it.

Cheap and delicious. Service was great, although its not always known for being a friendly environment, it was calm quiet and kond experience this time. It just always hits the spot. Way better than ihop, waffle house bacon actually tastes salty, like its supposed to.

I Placed my order online and ordered scramble eggs well done, I got over easy which made me throw up. I ordered an extra waffle but it was not made until I told them I ordered an extra waffle. The waffles were made good and were breaking up. And did not taste right. I am very disappointed and mad I wasted my money on food I can't eat.

Great foods! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and open 24/7! Had a long time memory that I've had a delicious waffle in Waffle House back in 2008, and today I'm lucky enough to taste this delicious waffle again! Our server Maya was wonderful, sweet and nice! The restaurant decor brought me back to the movies like in the 1970-1980's, cool atmosphere! Love it

on my visit to the Waffle House, there was a new cook on board so our food took FOREVER. Okay, we waited patiently. I ordered the strawberry shortcake waffle which was pricier than a plain waffle. When it finally came, it had no strawberries on it, but instead had strawberry syrup poured on it along with crunchy strawberry candies. It was absolutely horrible, but I decided to scrape off the candy and eat what I could given how long it took to be made. But sadly the waffle itself was gooey and awful. I'll never go back.

I would absolutely give this place a 1! The costumer service is horrible, and the employees are mean. One time i saw an employee yell at a costumer for no absolute reason! This is unacceptable behavior. I would not come back here again!

Pretty bangin. Cheap options when you consider other breakfast places in the area. Food was food, hash browns were a little undercooked but I personally don't mind that. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Normalize 24 hour diners that serve breakfast all day. That's what America needs.

Long time waffle house fan, good prices, and good service. Great thing about them, ive been in 4 states W.H. and food is consistantly good, sometimes the 24 hours units might not be as clean. When i look for clean is corners and floor under grill. But i have been here a couple times and very clean. One of the bettre units.

This place has all the greasy spoon appeal that you could hope for and it reminds you that there is still great food in the world that's not covered up by fluff. You get your belly full and you don't go away broke. I haven't been to a Waffle House yet where they don't act Like they already know you. It's that kind of place.

I am a 34-year-old Black woman who's somehow never been to a Waffle House before last week. Now that that's out the way, I am now hooked. They seem to have every breakfast option my secret southern roots desire. Waffles. Biscuits with gravy. Sausage, egg and cheese grit bowls (MY FAVE). Crispy hash browns. I thought I hated hash browns all my life. Well, not anymore. And while it gets busy here and they may not always answer the phone, the waitresses and cashiers are super sweet and friendly that it makes up for it. If you place an order, they even take your phone number and text you when your food is ready. I'm excited to end up here one drunken late night in need of some down-home sustenance because I know they will surely hit the spot. Ya'll have made me a fan.

I had never been to a Waffle House until today. It was a very simple menu with food flying out of the kitchen. The cooks and waitresses were in some sort of tiff and it was obvious. There was waffle batter all over the counters and the waffle irons. The food was ok, nothing special, but their menu is limited ane bland. The bacon was the high point; very crispy! The waitress was great and super friendly evem though she was getting her ass kicked.

Mmhhh.. hair was on the food and not only one strand... there was threeeee! Costumer service was good though

It's dirty. Hair in food, utensils and dishes not clean. Hair found in hasbrowns. The chocolate milk tasted sour. The pecan waffle was good tho.

Waffle House gets a bad rap but I've always enjoyed their food and heck what other place is open when you want the late night food? A taco or burger place? You've got some variety and usually a server with smile but also some sarcasm.

We were in Denver for a few days and looking for a place to eat breakfast when I found this location only a few minutes from our hotel. We noticed people standing outside, nearly turnaround and left. However, I got out of the car and made my way inside to ask for the wait time. The male host asked how many were in my party (3) and then said there's no wait at all. He pointed at the side table and I texted my sister to let her know I had a table. Once seated, the waitress asked if we would like anything to drink and then gave use a few minutes to look over the menu. When we all knew what we wanted we placed our order and watched in awe as we saw the cooks prepare our food. Everything was freshly made! From the stove to the plate, literally. The food was delicious! I do not like bacon at all but after my nephew offered me a strip and I took a bite from the extra crispy strip I'm a fan. The scramble eggs were light and fluffy, bacon was extra crispy, toast was toasty, ham was juicy and the waffles were PERFECT! Our waitress checked up on us every now and then but not to the point where she was annoying. My only disappointment was the fact they didn't sell their cute little coffee mug with the Waffle House logo.

First off there's people camping in the parking lot!!! Walk in and sit down and NOBODY said anything to me so I sit down and still nothing because the waitress and cook where making there personal breakfast and had no time to say hello or actually do there job!!!

This place does not accommodate big parties, if it's three people or less I'd say you wouldn't have much of an issue. The food wasn't too good, I got a waffle it tasted okay but for the price I can't complain much. However the people I ate with said their food was cold right after it being served. Service was disappointing in and out of a rush. Do not recommend

Sooo I'm addicted to Waffle House and try to go to one in every city #fatlivesmatters Aurora is very nice and the people here are friendly but babyyyyyyyy lets talk about Waffle House grits!!! AMAZING (once I add cheese and my bacon) Jesus take the wheel. The steak is was very well seasoned with love, and of course you have to try the waffles. Overall the staff was really nice, and the service was fast especially because we got here at 2am. I really enjoyed dinning here in Denver.

Did you know that the Waffle House is actually is an informal metric, used by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to determine the effect of a storm and the likely scale of assistance required for disaster recovery. If you get there and the Waffle House is closed? That's really bad. Anyway, we went to the Waffle House for breakfast. It's a chain, and it has been around forever. Where else can you possibly go for good food, good service, and a clean environment? Waffle House! I had my usual of bacon and eggs. My husband had his usual of sausage and eggs. My breakfast was good, but the bacon, not so much. It had a funny taste to it, probably had been sitting for a while. The potatoes and eggs were good, as was the toast. My husband said his food was good. Of course, we had to split a waffle, which had the words, "Waffle House" in the center - nice touch. The waffle was good. Coffee was hot, and we had more than enough refills. There is a small parking lot there, and it's free. There isn't much room to wait inside the restaurant, away from the door. Bring a sweater, as you will feel the cool Colorado air (fall time) when the door opens. It was fairly quiet in the restaurant, until they turned on the music, which then made it difficult to hear. I would have preferred to not have any music. We enjoyed hearing the employees working behind the counter, calling out orders, using the restaurant "lingo," it was nice. Within 10 minutes of sitting down, there was a wait. Food is served quickly, so that helps. There is usually a wait, so just count on it. Waffle House is well known. All in all, good food, good service, fair prices, some parking - a good experience. We would definitely go back.

Opened the door carrying a baby and an employee leaving just walked out without saying a thing as I held the door for him. Then my wife the baby and I stood at the front waiting to be greeted or seated. A waitress looked up made eye contact and said nothing. After a few minutes without being greeted we just sat ourselves. We sat for about 8 minutes and still weren't acknowledged, so I went and grabbed a high chair and some menus. We sat for a bit longer and a homeless guy walked in and they acknowledged him and he asked if he could use the bathroom. Then two more parties walked in and they acknowledged and sat them both right away. They gave them menus and a little later gave them silverware and started taking their orders. As soon as they did we got up and left. Not one employee said a word or acknowledged us the whole time, even after we got up and left. Apparently we weren't the right color to be acknowledged or invited to dine at the Waffle house. Super sad!

Maybe I am weird- but ever since my other half converted/introduced me to Waffle House- it is just an easy travel breakfast. And- in a blizzard, they were OPEN! Not that anyone is thrilled to work in a blizzard, but we were grateful for hot food and a menu we don't even need to look at because we each knew what we wanted. Scattered, smothered, covered, chunked and capped. My kid got his with his 2 egg breakfast with bacon and the other son went with a scramble bowl. They were pretty steady busy and we honestly got breakfast and went back to the AirBnb- the roads were too icy. Shout out to the staff for keeping Waffle House open! There's some joke that you know it's a disaster IF Waffle House is closed....

Not good for vegans as they put milk and egg in their waffles. However you can veganism the hashbrowns with veggies if need be. Plus open 24 hours.

How do you mess up a waffle at Waffle House? How do you mess it up twice??? The server with blue hair clearly struggled with grade school. Wait out Covid and being able to eat inside, and 2 Pecan waffles are impossible to get. Clearly no Supervisor or training...PITIFULL!

A team of many different personalities definitely came together to give us the best service. The food was freakin awesome with little to no wait and Monique was just the best at the bar top area. Will most definitely eat here again next time we come up from Texas!

We loved our food. I went inside to place my order, paid, and was told to wait in my car until I got a text to let me know my food was ready. That went smoothly. When I got my text there was a mass of people coming in. I felt like they didn't have a way to decipher who was picking up and who was placing orders and it was a bit chaotic (during COVID). This was Christmas Eve. There were a lot of friendly employees working there.

Our food came out fast even though they were busy. Monique was an awesome server! Definitely will be back when I come back to denver

Food was great and the service was too. We had a large group of all my bros and they accommodated us very well. Our waitress, Lisa, was incredible. Def going again.

We came here late at night for a quick bite to eat after an hour drive from Boulder. I can't believe we haven't tried this place sooner!! The ambiance was soooo much fun and Trina, our waitress was funny and overall lively and hilarious with us. She kept on joking and saying clever remarks to us. We loved her!! We were sort of confused with the menu, but the food actually comes out better than the actual photos on the menu. How strange is that?? Well, we ended up taking to-go boxes, because we obviously were medium full and sort of hungry. We had loud laughs with the whole staff. God bless them. I loved it. They had a modernized juke box, they played poppin' music and tunes. We felt like we were at a club. We were having so much fun for it being so late at night. Our bill individually was under $10.00!! wowowowowowowow. We had a grand ol' time. Give Trina a raise.

Great customer service, everyone is super friendly. We didn't have to wait. We got the breakfast deal for 10.50. This included two eggs, toast, waffle choice of meat and hash-browns or grits. Super fast as well.

I stopped here after driving 23 hours straight from Sacramento...Ugh...on my way to Kansas City 8 hours from then. Don't ever do that. I showed up in the wee hours of 8am-ish, when it was sunny, crisp, just rained, and the staff was chipper and listening to R&B music. It was a good vibe, and the cook was feelin' the music because he threw together the best damn Waffle House I've ever had. The eggs were precision-guided missles of awesome. The waffles couldn't have been done better. The meat and the hash were both perfect. I don't know if I had died on the way home, and everything since my death has not been real - but it was like a dream. Best. Waffle. House. Ever. Let the staff play music, allow them to enjoy the atmosphere they've created, and revel in the makings of a true chef! That guy...Wow. The staff was wildly amicable, and I think I had a biscuit. I'm not sure. It was all delicious! I recommend them in the morning with no one else there.

Today when I ordered food to go , I noticed when I walked in how dirty it looked and the staff was rude. The cook was on the phone cursing very loud . I will not be going to this location again.

When I say horrible service I mean HORRIBLE!! The energy was so bad. The food wasn't as good. Our sever had an attitude the whole time. While I was ordering mine and my nieces food she kept cutting me off and not letting me tell her what I want. I asked for waters she brought back one!! I always tip good I left 0$ and 0change I paid my ticket to the penny. I didnt even want to pay that. I will never go back. P.s : she never came and asked how the food was or anything. When it came down to paying she smiled and asked if everything was ok haha yeah NO BYE!

I''ve been going to this waffle House for ages. Tonight Mizz B and Q were my servers and chef. Both of you ladies are completely on point. Every thing was perfect and delicious. We appreciate you! THANKS ladies! You are awesome!

Being from Georgia, we were thrilled to see a Waffle House was nearby. The food is good and most of the staff is attentive. It can be a little hit or miss in terms of if you will get your order right/a refill of water, but for the most part everyone is on their game. Only complaint is that a large order of hash browns covered only gets a slice of cheese. But hey, it's fast and yummy. What more can you want?

Walking in to see leftover food and plates on the bar and the entire left side of the establishment right off the bat was a HUGE turn off!!!! I give one star for the waffle being delicious and there other star for our waitress being nice! But she forgot our drinks until after our food came and she didn't even ask my boyfriend what he wanted so he had to ask her again for our drinks AND inform her of what it was he wanted in the first place! Besides that omg the place was dirty!!!! The walls, the floors, behind the counter where they were cooking, everywhere! And the Employees ...... oh .....my ......lord. They were so loud, so obnoxious, so unprofessional, beyond inappropriate! The topic of conversation was not fit for being on the clock and it's a completely open space, they gave 2 shit's that we could all hear them being crass and ghetto! One lady starts screaming to the others in the Back at one point " give me a knife " no one comes " bring me my KNIFE!!!!!" Holy hell lady I'm so glad I'm not your grandchild! She was freaking scary! And the banging! Oh god.... whatever they were doing It did not sound like cooking... it sounded like construction!!! The first time I came here it wasn't this bad, second time around the atmosphere was just messed up! Guess it just depends on who's working that determines your guest experience here! Good luck!

This is a pretty horrible location, even for a Waffle House. I mean firstly they close at 9p. Who the hell is sober enough to eat Waffle House before 9p? And the staff here is lacking that playful warmth you expect at Waffle House. Cmon man

Waffle House is a good quick breakfast if you don't want fast food. Got the quick two egg breakfast with bacon for only 8.75. There is a wait due to covid, they're operating at 50% capacity. Keep up the good work Waffle House.

Our table we got that day was still dirty when we sat down. Our server seem irritated while working with us. We never been to Waffle House before as we were vacationing down there. So we didn't know what we wanted. Anyways I got the breakfast sandwich and some biscuits and gravy. The sandwich wasn't bad. I didn't like the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was like warm and my biscuits were not hot. Tried to get our server attention. But she was too busy standing on the other side of the room talking to another worker. She never came back to check to see if the food was ok or refill our drinks. We sat around for a while before she decided to come back. By then everyone has already finish eating and if we wanted new biscuits and gravy it probably would look like. We just didn't eat it that why it got cold. Sanitation wise our table wasn't the cleanest. Our service wasn't the best. Our food wasn't the best as well. We really wanted to like this place because our child kept taking about coming here for months. The host who seated us and greeted us very sweet. So kudos to him. Will not be coming back.

Coming from Vegas where we don't have a Waffle House my daughter wanted to go to one. They are one busy place even on a weekday morning, but they are still quick. Our server was really nice and joked around with my daughter who gets scared to order. The food was good and came out quick. We had no problem getting refills on drinks and anything else we need.

Was excited to see a Waffle House. Haven't been to one in years. Had to get my hash brown fix! Very busy when we arrived. Seven cooks, and servers working hard. Very friendly staff. Got food within 5 mins. Yum! Will definitely be back!

Wasn't open at 6:30am, no employees except the "over night" lady. We couldn't sit inside, but could order to go thru the window. Had an employee sitting on the curb checking her phone.

Who doesn't love the Waffle House?! I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars because just three stars seems too harsh. If you're looking for a meal that reminds you of home, perfectly cooked waffles, buttery Texas toast, a variety of hash brown options, at an affordable price, this place is for you. At Waffle House you won't find any fancy-shmancy menu items you can't pronounce, ingredients you've never heard of, or hundreds of toppings on your waffle--they stick to the basics and they do it well; no extra fluff needed. That being said, don't come expecting a 5-star meal, you come here when you don't feel like cooking but still want to feel like you're eating at home. The staff at this location is so bubbly and friendly, I am always more than pleased with the service. The wait can be long on the weekends (as expected) but the food comes out pretty fast so they keep it movin'!

This was the first time my husband and I had been to a Waffle House. Staff are outgoing and friendly. Had to wait a little to get seated and it wasn't busy, I think they were just understaffed at the moment which is fine. Food was AMAZING. Everything was perfect. From the iced tea to the hash browns and eggs and of course the waffles. Best breakfast food I've ever had. My compliments to the chef

It was really good and yummy in my tummy. It was a great amount of food for a good price. I liked the waffles and they were good and the sausages filled my belly up with sweat goodness

This place is a disgrace! $40 worth of what seemed to be old , outdated food and horrible coffee! Service was ok, but that food tasted like it was cooked the day before! Not HAPPY AND STILL HUNGRY!!!

Gwen was so amazing... she was so helpful and informative. Alan cooked for me for the second time and I never thought I would like a waffle House more than I liked at New Orleans but he is amazing but Alan is a beast at night
