Waffle House

First and foremost, shout out to Annie Kay, for the excellent service as we awaited our breakfast prepared from a 4Million dollar club cook that was point on. We listened as they sang a little, greeted all the local regulars in awe. As a former restaurant owner (sold retired) I was so impressed. Clean a ton of friendly clean banter and smiles. Everybody looked proud to be there. I am a waffle house addict, none can touch this one. Corporate should award each of you something, best smiles award and a attaboy/girl at the least. I will see you again if we come in town.

I just wanna say this is probably the best waffle house I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to many! First of all when we walked in, we were greeted by the hostess and other staff member saying welcome to Waffle House. In the most cheery, happy voices… they were so welcoming! We got seated right away and as soon as we seated our server Annie-Kay Was right there to greet us With the most pleasant personality! She took our drink orders Came right back with the drinks and the eating Ware took our orders was very professional and accommodating. The food came In a very quick manner, it was hot, Freshly made and delicious! Annie-Kay was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. It was an extreme pleasure dining at this Waffle House and we will definitely be back!

This was a small restaurant but it had the hardest working staff. They were friendly, quick and efficient. They even had time for some jokes. Food was good. Everyone in my party was satisfied.

I love a good Waffle House and this one takes the cake. This might just be the nicest Waffle House I’ve ever been too. Super clean the staff was so awesome and they had fun braves memorabilia to boot! Food was Waffle House but not sloppy if that makes sense. Couldn’t recommend enough. Great location right by the field.

Great service and food at this location. We had an issue with tea being a bit sour and the server poured out the remainder of the tea without hesitation. Also the server was very very sweet to my daughter who was clearly starving after a day of dance competitions. All the food was great! Will come back when in the area.

Service was good and staff are very friendly. It was my 1st visit and I asked for recommendations of the food and I must say their recommendations was awesome! I loved the steak and waffle!!

If I could put 5 gold stars on this building I would. I been to about 40 different waffle houses from Florida to Delaware this by far the cleanest store with the best employees. Big praises markece and Allison who filled the atmosphere with great vibes. Thank you to them there wonderful.

My sister and I were on a road trip. The food, people, environment were all perfect! We had a blast and walked away stuffed and happy!

My friends and I came to this Waffle House after our night out dancing got cut short due to some unfortunate chaos in the Virginia Highlands area. We wanted some food and wanted to head home, so we came to this Waffle House closer to where I stay at. It was a breath of fresh air compared to the stress we had dealt with before it. Service was good! Our food came out quickly and our waitress was nice. The booth we sat at was clean. And I loved the Braves decor in this location! I'll definitely be back! :)

This Waffle House was conveniently located- adjacent to the hotel I was staying in. We went for breakfast. We were warmly greeted and offered coffee immediately. Ordered my usual pecan waffle, sausage patties and hash browns smothered (with onions). Our server was a total sweetheart. Food was prepared in a timely manner and it was delicious. This location had nice music playing in the background which gave it a lively atmosphere. Everyone was upbeat and friendly. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Just experienced the most friendly Waffle House staff! Tamela was attentive, super friendly, and did a great job even remembering our names! First time ever the chef of our meal came to check to see if his creation was satisfactory! Great team!

I don't know why I thought they served actual friend chicken... rookie move. The waffle was tasty, the breakfast was pretty good but the service was OUTSTANDING!

I always love me a good Waffle House meal I always get the all star meal hits every damn time, staff was very pleasant they have great service made sure I was good, I never have any issues this company is a cultural staple so I know what to expect lol unless a fight break out but that didn't happen in this location. Ambiance was very homie feeling I felt good felt at home with my folks I'm always going back to any location lol

Shoutout to Laquoria Will & Amber from the Graveyard shift. We were visiting ATL for the first time and needed food late. Waffle House was on the top of our list. The service we received from them was amazing. Will was cooking and made sure to come out and ask us if everything was to our liking. It looks like a diner but the service received makes the ambiance so great! Thank you for anything!

The food was fresh ! Mrs.Angela was this phenomenal & the ambiance was the perfect vibe with the ol skool jams and karaoke ! It was perfect breakfast!

The second that I saw the sign I knew that I was going to make a stop here sooner or later. Today was that day. I came here because it is conveniently right in front of the Aloft hotel. I only had 30 mins and I knew that this would be the perfect place to get something quick and delicious. When I walked in Lois greeted me and I sat at the counter. Right away she passed me a menu and explained that breakfast was on the front and that lunch was on the back. I kinds knew what I wanted to I glanced over the menu for a min and was ready to order. When I looked up she was ready and waiting for my order. I got a chocolate chip waffle and a side of bacon with a hash brown and a coffee. In just a matter of minutes I had a delicious breakfast right in front of me. My favorite was the hash-browns because they were crispy on both sides and I love them with a little bit of tabasco and ketchup. I also loved the chocolate chip waffle. It was cooked to perfection with the crunchy outside and freshly melted chocolate chips. I could have done without the coffee, I didn't really drink it but that was my fault because I was not really in the mood for coffee. I was able to checkout right when I was done and able to make it back right on time for my meeting. Overall a great experience, I love going to places that make you feel right at home. The service was the best thing and the freshness of the food.

I can literally see this place from my balcony. I saw 2 cars in the parking lot and decided to call in an order. Was placed on hold for 30 minutes before I went in and saw only 4 people being served. Asked the woman taking orders why I was on hold for 30 mins when she said she was swamped. My LAST time visiting this location

Every time I step foot in Waffle House I have a good meal and time. I ordered the All-Star special which comes with a Waffle, Eggs, Grits & you're choice of bacon or sausage and of course I went with the smoke bacon! My meal was fresh and warm. Everything on my plate had that southern taste to it and I had no complaints.

My family and I have been to hundreds of Waffle House's across the country... this BY FAR is the best staff I have ever come across. They were a well oil machine. The gentleman greeting people who's an obvious New Orleans Saints fan, was absolutely amazing. All the staff were extremely outstanding. Thank you to all of you

I love waffle house. I just wish it didn't look so run down A T M O S P H E R E We came here on a sat night at 5pm as a group of 4. There were 2 other tables. We chose our own table. Every waffle house always smells like bleach. F O O D We all ordered the all star special I always get the order and they always make it perfectly! All star special, waffle, wheat bread, scrambled eggs well, sausage, hash w cheese and onion S E R V I C E Fast and prompt like always. Our server was very friendly. P R I C E Very affordable and so worth the price.

The food is standard waffle house fare, nothing surprising. Fresh and hot and cooked the way it's supposed to be. What makes it 5 stars is the staff. Vickie is an absolute delight and had us smiling the whole time she waited on us. All of the staff were upbeat and kind and worked hard.

It's a shame how bad the Waffle Houses have become in the last two years. The one on 41 across from the Braves Stadium was a pig sty, and when I first walked in they refused to take my to go order because of a "Shift Change", which was 6 employees sitting around eating and talking, 9:13 pm on a Saturday night. No customers were there except me. Who ever heard of this at a Waffle House? To be fair, Before I posted, I came back in five minutes and the Manager on Duty (Derick ?) took my order and it was ok at that point. But my experience with Waffle House lately has been disappointing

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the whole crew with a huge smile on their faces! Music is at the perfect volume and the atmosphere is amazing. The food was perfectly prepared! I definitely recommend others to come here as well!

Probably the best Waffle House in America! The atmosphere is always upbeat! Great staff, awesome food and wonderful service! I'm never disappointed whenever I visit this location. If you're ever in Smyrna, this location is a must visit.

I typically avoid Waffle House because well it's Waffle House but it was the only restaurant in walking distance after missing the breakfast hours at our hotel. Let me tell you all my WH previous impressions have been erased. The food was excellent, inexpensive and delivered quickly! I had the egg breakfast with the biscuit. I appreciated that the biscuit was grilled instead of just a cold biscuit you usually get at restaurants. Our server was the best. She noticed my tea looked a little light and brought me a new glass even though I never even mentioned. We enjoyed the energetic nature of all staff. This was my besties first ever meal at WH ... she had always avoided it based on her first attempt to eat at one (she never actually ate there after walking in). When our server found out, she gave her a hat to commemorate her visit. This experience definitely changed my opinion of WH!!

My wife, Father, and I walked in after a seeing a Braves game. There were a few empty seats at the bar with dirty plates, but we didn't mind, and sat down. After 10 minutes, the chef/cook literally yelled at us because we were sitting at a the counter with dirty plates. We asked where we could sit and he went on about how busy it was. We just left. Never have I ever been treated like that at any restaurant. We gladly would've sat somewhere else, or waited instructions, but there was no guidance. We even would've been patient about waiting for food since they were obviously short handed, but his attitude dictated our reaction, and they honestly did not care.

It's my first time at a Waffle House and I need to go back. The workers were very kind. And the food was very good.

Binnkie was the best server. She was so friendly and incredibly personable! The rest of the staff were great too - they all checked in on us throughout our visit. We dined on Easter because we were traveling back home and it was definitely worth the stop. The friendliest staff hands down.

If I could give my experience 0 stars I would. The entire staff was fighting with each other and refused to take orders. One waitress blatantly ignored me and my friends then told us it wasn't her problem. WORST WAFFLE HOUSE EXPERIENCE

Stopped in for a quick breakfast on a Sunday morning right before Christmas. The staff was very friendly and we were greeted and seated as soon as we opened the door. Our waitress was very attentive during the whole meal. I had a simple sausage and cheese sandwich, which was good and some extra crispy hash browns which also were made perfectly. My family members all had good things to say about their food. Bathrooms were clean as well. For those who know about the "Whamageddon" game, apologies for sending everyone to "Whamhalla" with the jukebox. ;) It was fun when the servers would sing along to the jukebox tunes. It seemed like the staff genuinely enjoyed their jobs and were all pretty cool people.

Was expecting fried chicken n waffles when coming here, but was pleasantly surprised to find that they don't offer that and have some relatively healthy options. Service was great, fast, n super friendly. Our food came out quickly, was hot and yummy. The waffle was definitely better than expected, fresh n fluffy with a delicious flavor! I'd definitely come back here for another quick bite.

Waffle House #1563, Smyrna, GA - Was all set to place a to-go order this morning. Had my mouth all set for a tasty breakfast. When I called, the recording said they were not placing to-go orders. WHAT A CROCK!

I. LOVE. THIS. WAFFLE. HOUSE. Read that again... This is the WaHo closest to my home, but even if it wasn't, I would still drive here to frequent this establishment. The staff at this location is AWESOME! My boyfriend and I eat here often - at least 2x a month, but sometimes 2x in a weekend. It's a super busy location on Saturday and Sunday mornings but the grill staff knows what they're doing and the food comes out faster than I can drink half a cup of coffee most mornings. The wait staff has some of the biggest brightest personalities I've ever encountered. They always have smiles on their faces and are having a good time while working. I'd give you the name of our favorite waitress but then the wait for one of her tables would get too long, so I'm going to keep that tip to myself! Go check them out! :)

I came to the Waffle House after my cousin recommended I try out the food. She raved about how delicious the Waffles are and being we are both foodies I'm always down for a good Waffle. So, my first day in ATL we decided to have a super late night meal. Especially, since Waffle House is open 24/7. I wish they had a Waffle House in Northern California I'd probably be they're number one customer..lol! I ended up ordering the All Star breakfast which comes with a Waffle, eggs, bacon and sausage. The portions are big and the price is great! I also ended up ordering a side of biscuit and sausage gravy. The inside of the restaurant looks like your pretty basic diner nothing special but I was very immaculate inside which is a big plus. I seems like no matter what time of day or night is always busy. The service is really good and our waitress was extremely friendly and had a small conversation with us. I thought it was cute when the waitress asked where I was from because of my "accent" I never knew I had one..lol! Our good comes out and Sweet baby Jesus! The food is so good. I mean it's one of the better cheap breakfast joints I've been too! I was Starvin' Marvin and Yoshied my food down. This place was so good that my cousin and a came here every single night during my stay. You can say I fell in love with Waffle House. So, you know when I had to leave ATL I was heartbroken! :( Every time I come to ATL my cousin and I hit this place up. If you travel to ATL I highly recommend this location not all Waffle House's are created equal!

As waffle houses go this is an excellent one. Packed on Sundays there is a wait. Staff are excellent. The young guy working the Sunday line needs to be more outspoken as people took advantage of him and ignored the line and he was to afraid to say "excuse me there's a line". This is infuriating to those quietly waiting their turn. So I'd avoid vat this time in future

This was a gift from heaven. I went during the weekend at around 130AM, and the service was amazing. First, there was a person whose job was to seat people and welcome them at the door. As soon as we were seated, a waitress took our orders and provided us with beverages. Now keep this in mind, the location was packed!!! People were waiting to be seated, yet we were still treated with respect and kindness. This location functions like a machine. They had a food caller, waitresses, and multiple cooks. We received our food hot, quickly, and well done. A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Didn't like how Vickie was condescending when I asked May I take my to go over she responded it's over there under the sign to go orders. However she is good at her job while I observed her, just the initial impression could've been better. On bright side while waiting I was greeted by Jamar to make sure I was taken care of. Ayshia was amazing with taken my to go order. Angela was very sweet asked how my day was. Very fast service overall. Great Waffle House.

Waffle House is Waffle House, so my expectations going in are minimal, however...On this particular visit, there was absolutely little to speak kindly about. The service was slow AND sucked a**!!! (I got better treatment from servers that weren't even handling my section) My hard-fried eggs were soft, my waffle was darker than me, it took multiple requests by my dining partner to receive their coffee and then separately, their cream... Later, it was a "To-Go" cup. It was all-around, total and abject failure today and they weren't even busy!?!? They had a current 87 Health Score, if that means anything???

First time in a legit Waffle House and the waffle was great ! I also had the chicken to go along with it.

Definitely one of my favorite places. Classic diner. Since the name is Waffle House you have to have waffles. You won't be disappointed. The pecan waffles are exceptional. Biscuits have a very unique flavor and the gravy is just yum!!

I've never really ventured out and wanted to try the Waffle House but today was different. The menu is pretty straight forward and I opted for the Texas chicken melt which I have to say was really good. The cost was only 7 buck and it was rather filling. Chances are I will return to sit and at to try more menu items. Nice hostess but not the cleanest place on the planet. This may be due to the fact they were packed

I love the open kitchen breakfast style;they do it right at Waffle house. The only problem is what to order. The grits are phenomenal and the hash browns are classic, and the waffles? The don't call it Waffle House for nothing. It is just as fast and inexpensive as fast food but you get to sit and get friendly service as well.

Jayla was the nicest server ever!!! She greeted us from the door with a smile and asked if we were dinning in. We got sat and she came and greeted us with a wonderful attitude and a beautiful smile. She took our order with attentiveness and the food was out within 3 minutes almost so another star for the kitchen. The food was cooked amazing and overall experience was great! Definitely Recommend This Waffle House over others in the Atlanta area!

Worst Waffle House in Atlanta. We waited 45 mins for a to go order we were never able to order. The only person we did see get there food had there receipt thrown at them. Which had 1 out of the 2 people in front of us leave. The person actually in front of us waited and we left to settle for chips at the gas station and we returned 10 mins later he was walking out because his order had not been taken. 6-7 people is not okay especially if you know it's a Braves game on a Saturday. Poor execution of scheduling and customer service. Do better!

This was the first ever restaurant my fiancé and I dined-in at Atlanta, Georgia. We arrived at our hotel late at night on Wednesday, and most places were already closed. We each ordered waffles and some side dishes such as eggs, bacons, hashed brown, etc. I'd say the waffle tastes decent for a place like this, I've only had terrible waffles at cheap cost in my hometown so it was a good surprise. You can pick different ingredients to be mixed in to the butter of the waffle to make it the way you like it. Side dishes were just fine, I did notice some particular smell in the hashed brown that I did not like and ended up leaving it. Food here is not amazing but it definitely fills your appetite need late at night for the cheap price.

really slow. the temp inside is not pleasant at all. always frigid. literally. i really wish things would change here

This was the worst service i have received. My mom and i went to get some coffee and waffle. The waitress that attended us did not come to check on us NOT ONCE. When she came to leave our meal at the table she was sucking on a lollipop. Disgusting and rude. She forgot about our waffle so i had to ask for it to go i waited 10-15mins after still and she was still barely making my waffle. Literally the worst service ever.

Finally got to a waffle house after years of passing these on the east coast as a kid going down to South Carolina. My wife had recommended we stop one afternoon (the great thing about waffle house, available ANY time!). Got the staple waffle with coffee & hash brown. Waffle could've been a bit thicker (my only complaint taking these guys down a star). Service was quality. Can't understand why these haven't made it out to NorCal -- but I digress..

Absolutely FANTASTIC crew and food! This is the third Waffle House my family has visited during our 2 week road trip, and is by far the best. This is the reason for the line of customers, and is well worth the wait. The crew here is truly exceptional!

Tanesha has been my server twice at this location. She is friendly and quick. She always does a great job. This is one of the cleaner waffle houses in the area usually and I prefer this location over the one on Windy Hill Rd because of the cleanliness and prompt and friendly service.

My daughter and I had an early lunch there today. It was crowded. But they had a lot of staff working. All of the staff was happy, courteous, energetic and kind! Loved the energy in this WH!! We will travel a little further from our house to go back to this one.

Best Waffle House in Atlanta. Hands down. OK - You know the deal - I don't have to tell you about Waffle House, and what's on the menu. We all know it's a go-to spot for a freshly prepared meal at all hours. I'm no nite owl, so you can find me there at breakfast. Waffle House excels at any egg preparation (scrambled, over easy, poached - perfection). I also love the pecan waffle (have you tried the sugar free syrup? It's DELICIOUS, and saves you some cals). The sausage can't be beat with the crispy exterior from the flat top. These are common features of any decent Waffle House location. What sets apart this particular WH location (across the street from the new SunTrust Park - home of the 2017 Atlanta Braves) is the staff. The service is on point and very attentive. Friendly and professional, these people clearly take pride in what they do. I feel cared for, and never a bother to this group of excellent servers. I'll also add that this is the cleanest Waffle House I've visited. I've been here for breakfast three times in the last month, and it's extremely clean with freshly mopped floors, and none of that sticky/slippery feel that you try not to think about at other WH locations. If you're passing by, stop in to the Waffle House near SunTrust park for a delicious meal and fantastic service.
