Waffle House

My husband and I have always enjoyed the waffle House Particularly the breakfast. We hadn’t been to the Waffle House in a while so we decided to stop today. We were extremely disappointed. We ordered water and coffee and never did get the water. I ordered the cheesy eggs and asked the raisin toast to not be buttered. When it came, the raisin toast was buttered and the eggs had pieces of cheese in it. They were not melted. It came with what was called Cheesy grits, but what I got was a slice of cheese between the grits and neither were hot and the cheese was not melted. And everything was on the same plate rather than the grits being in a separate bowl. We will probably not be returning.

my wife and i stopped in for a late breakfast. the service was fast and friendly. the food was typical Waffle House with lots of oil but flavorful and quick. look you don't go to Waffle House for a culinary gourmet experience..it is fast comfort food. good job.

We went here for breakfast on the way to Georgia and it didnt disappoint. The people working here are great and very friendly. The food was served fast and it was all delicious, highly recommended this waffle house.

Incredibly fast and friendly service. Was greeted and sat the second I walked in the door. Pretty standard fare for what you'd expect from a diner but the server went above and beyond to cater to us.

It's waffle house. It's amazing in every way. The staff at this specific one were quick, kind, funny, and had the perfect balance of making sure we were satisfied without just hovering the whole time! 10/10 could not recommend this place enough

Food was delicious, hot, and fresh. Customer service was decent, but this Waffle House is dirty. The floors look like they hadn’t been swept, flys flying around, smears all over the windows, and it was super muggy.

Love this Waffle House. The food is always cooked great. The staff is awesome, friendly, and they actually care. The staff creates the pleasant, uplifting atmosphere. You walk in, good music is playing, they’re dancing, and you don’t even wait half a minute for them to get to you. Great branch!!!

Service was good all staff nice. Only negative part was frogs climbing on the out side of the windows

Come on....who doesn't love a good 'Waffle House' experience! I was so happy this location wasn't too far from where my family lives! This restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly! The food was cooked and on our table within 15mins! Good casual food at a reasonable price!

They are always super rude when you walk in the door no one ever greets you. They never clean tables off so that you can sit. Orders are always messed up. I absolutely refuse to go into this waffle house. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because it makes me.

Driving down from MD, needed some lunch. Why not Waffle House!? We walked in and were greeted and sat right away. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes, with the good tasting great! The only complaint is the restroom. It was dirty and out of toilet paper, and after somebody alerted the employee, they fixed the problem. In the end, the food was great, along with service. It was easy to get to, right off of I-95. The area was ok, but there wasn't much else around, except for a couple of hotels. However, we came during daylight and had no problems.

Always excellent!! Best Waffle House in the country!! Gotta get that Texas cheesesteak sandwich with double hash browns chunked and covered!!

Good food great service i reconmend if you get a waffle get chocolate chips and peanut butter chips on it

This Waffle House truly provided exceptional service. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. And they were kind and courteous throughout the entire meal. Our food was served quickly and was fresh, hot, and super yummy. If you're ever in the neighborhood check them out. Best service ever! Thank you.

I came in they with my baby & my wife I looked around I saw seats were taken but they had a hole another section empty & blocked off for no apparent reason, nun was wrong with that side of restaurant either. The waitress didn't address us with hi or sorry all I have a available is the bar, the waitress told me & my family all they have available for seating is the bar I have a baby didn't say anything just walked out but felt very races if I was white with a white family do we gotta sit a bar too

Fast service with a smile. Ordering online for pick-up was a piece of cake and very convenient.

Everyone there was so kind and went above and beyond! They decorated my children's waffle as a surprise and of course it made their day! The service was great and the food was so good, we will definently be back!

After leaving a Waffle House the previous exit from here going south, due to the wait time we decided to check out the very next Waffle House that popped up. Staff were great and personable with the guests. Of course the food was awesome and staff made sure we were as comfortable as possible. Definitely recommend.

Great experience at Waffle House 1829. The staff was hardworking and friendly, especially Mike! Grateful for a good breakfast stop on our family Roadtrip.

Sirloin steak overcooked, had LOTS of gristle, hash browns overcooked and dry. Only one waitress. Only 4 customers and still had to ask for water twice.

We stopped into the Waffle House in Wade, NC while traveling. Upon entering we were greeted with smiles and the restaurant had a few tables. While waiting for our food the restaurant started to fill as well as preparing numerous to go orders. The staff worked well as a team and never allowed the hectic conditions to affect their demeanor or customer service. TQ was our server and Mike helped us at the register as we were preparing to leave.

We called to verify they were open and they said they were. We came a cpl of weeknights around 9p and they were closed. There is usually two visible employees pre-pandemic and tonight there were three but they were not serving dine in. Google still shows they are dining in and the employee that answer the phone stated we don't close.

When you are really hungry. The main advantage of a Waffle House is that they are open 24 hours day or night. That means when you are going through the town of Crapville in the middle of the night and decide you need some food or coffee you can usually find a Waffle House right off the highway, Convenient, quick and safe. Well, at least kind of safe. Most have huge signs and bright lights so you can see them from a thousand miles away and they always have a decent menu. This particular place was very friendly and the waitresses seem to enjoy talking to the two fools who drove all night from RI Of curse at 4am in the morning there isn't a whole lot else to do. A couple of very intoxicated fellows came in, loud and stinky but the waitresses handled them well. Obviously they had a lot of experience with such things and knew what to do. The place wasn't exactly clean but then it was 4am in the morning and people were coming in with muddy boots, foul smells and less than clean clothes. The food wasn't great but then at 4am in the morning in what is basically the middle of nowhere you can't exactly be picky. Wasn't great but it did the trick.

This Waffle House is stellar! The staff was super on the ball with the numerous particular requests we made. I was very thankful we stopped here!

Ok so let me start with the fact that I am not a breakfast food eater, and perhaps the only person you will encounter that hates waffles. The husband loves them tho, so I do go to the occasional breakfast meal with him just to keep the peace. I did get a BLT with hashbrowns and a Coke, but let me say based on all --and I mean ALL Waffle House locations I have been in, in numerous states across the US ... This Waffle House is the cleanest looking. and had the nicest server I have EVER encountered . The good was hot, fresh and well prepared as ordered. The server never let us feel ignored he had the drinks topped off at all times, and was attentive to needs before we even had time to ask without being annoying or hovering. I was so impressed with this location. AAA+++

Served breakfast- ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. Service was delayed due to broken dish in grill area. When served, you could see there WAS toast- but it was removed. It was replaced when we were almost finished eating. People were friendly but food was lousy.

By far the best Waffle House I have been to! Walked in and seated ourselves, our server walked up to us instantly. She was very friendly and gave us great and quick service. They have quick menus at the table but you can ask for their full menu. Our food was DELICIOUS! Not that grease-soaked diner food I've gotten from many other places. We left very satisfied and full.

One of the best Waffle House cooks there is. I was here around 11 am and she doesn't an excellent job cooking. The wait staff are great. Definitely do their job

I know they have all the business they care to have and it shows. I can't imagine why any manager would keep the rudest waitress I've ever encountered.

The health which are hell a crowded... I would write a 10 stars if I could but like I would add a picture but this eggs that they have and I hashbrowns and they yummy we love the breakfast MMHMMH
