Hi! I am reaching out to you today to let WH truly understand the gem we have at our Jacksonville Alabama WH. Anyone in the nation can visit any WH 24/7 and have the same great experience anywhere they go. What sets ours apart from the other thousands of locations is an employee named Telfra “Tweety” Ferrell. When my daughter asks us to go eat breakfast, she doesn’t ask to eat at Waffle House. She’s asks to go eat with HER Tweety. And so do the other kids! Over the years, Tweety has become an integral part of our small community by remembering names, our birthdays and our lives, making us feel like when we eat with her, we are eating with family. Again, anyone can eat at any WH, but Tweety has set such a high standard of professionalism, bringing the community together, top notch service and including customers that eating at any other WH really just doesn’t compare. I wrote this today to shine light on an amazing person and employee you have to give her the credit she truly deserves in which so many people here would agree with. She honestly makes going out to eat such a pleasant and heartwarming experience, it doesn’t even compare to other locations because when you get to eat at the Jville Al WF. it’s like coming home for the holidays and having a family get together every single time. I could write a novel about what an amazing person and employee Tweety is, but sometimes words just aren’t enough to describe the feelings that special employee gives their customers and the fact that Tweety delivers that quality every single day whether she is sick or having a bad day, really speaks so loudly to her character and high morals. She deserves all of the positive recognition she gets and so much more. You truly have an amazing employee and we are thankful as a town for her

Our server was Tweety at the Jacksonviile AL location. There were 6 of us. She was so fun and exuberant. We all lived her vibrant personality and wanted to take her home with us. We all loved her very much. She did such an amazing job with our orders and any suggestions. Made breakfast on my birthday (which she wasn't aware of ) extra special. I hope to see her again next time I visit Jacksonville.

Food & service was good & quick, a lot of waffle house cooks use too much grease, but the food here was prepared well. And it wasn't cold enough to kill an Eskimo inside there like a lot of waffle house locations. Haley, the server was cool & so was the cook.

The staff and food here has always been good. Friends and I usually eat here at least once every couple of weeks. It's always been good.

Food was fresh, hot and not greasy! The staff were super friendly!

I almost hate to share this: This is the best Waffle House of all Waffle Houses. I hate telling you because This place stays crowded. This is why- (Tweety was our server today but I love them all.) There is always a hometown warmth here that is unmatched anywhere else. These people do their best to make your experience fabulous. I don’t eat here for the food. It’s Waffles, right? I eat here because they are friendly and want you to have a good meal. It is well worth the short wait time for a table. What am I saying? I really don’t want you to know about Jacksonville’s best kept secret!

Our server Tweety made our visit! She is the absolute sweetest and so joyful. She made my daughter a special Minnie Mouse waffle and put sipped cream on her chocolate milk. She clearly goes the extra mile to bring joy to all! We love her !!

Good location. Food was prepared quickly and correctly. Staff was friendly and engaging. Restaurant was clean and well organized. Will return.

I'm from the Attalla/Gadsden area, and my grandfather and I only come to Jacksonville on a semi-frequent basis since I have a periodic job on the JSU campus, and each time we've eaten here, we've walked out satisfied and happy every single time. Tonight's visit was probably the most pleasant out of all the times I've been there. Our waitress, Hannah (she allowed me to use her name) instantly knew the drink I usually got (a Cherry-infused Sprite) even though I hadn't been there in many months, which both surprised and pleased me. I've had Hannah as a waitress before a couple of times, but I was so impressed with how nice and polite she was, and how accurate she was with ensuring our order was correct. Another waitress also still remembers what I usually get, which shows you how much these people care. During this visit, I had the usual: a Texas bacon cheesesteak melt with light onions and a pack of Waffle House sauce to drizzle on it, and for the first time, I also got a peanut butter waffle with chopped up bacon on it. It was fantastic! Everything was cooked to perfection, and it was delicious as usual. There hasn't been a time that we've been dissatisfied, ever. As my grandfather and I were waiting on the customers in front of us to pay for their meal, the head chef who was an older woman had a very friendly conversation with my grandfather, which pleased me even more in terms of how friendly and welcoming the staff is. This particular Waffle House location is easily the best out of all I've been to, and this will continue to be our go-to location to eat when we're in Jacksonville.

Took forever for the simplest meal , an order of hash browns and a waffle . The cook , cheleo I think her name was great , she seem to be the only one wanting to work. Server (Danielle) I think her name is customer service wasnt the best of part . It took her forever to take my order to place it and even bagging to hand to me . Customer service is probably not her best career choice .

Went to this waffle house around 12:00 and did not enjoy the stay at all! First there was at least 10 flies flying around the place and annoying the crap out of you while you are eating! The service? Awful! Everyone there seem to hate and dread their job! One lady was slamming the dishes after washing them! Our waitress did not enjoy working there she took our order and left our food and never refilled our drinks or ask how was the food cause it was absolutely nasty! I had the Allstar special bacon, regular pancakes, hash browns with jalapeños and cheese, with eggs cooked over medium! The hash browns was absolutely disgusting! It was so undercooked ! Literally the bottom of the hash browns was still white and raw! Who can literally mess up the waffles right? When trying out their waffle it was also under cook and was very soggy! The bacon? Was an absolute joke as well! The eggs was actually decent! I've eaten at many waffle house around the area (Alexandria, Oxford, and Gadsden) and i actually enjoyed my stay and food there! I would not want to come back to this place and would advise health inspection do a thorough investigation here!

This one is tough. Generally speaking, love Waffle House. Most of the time - this store is good. It's not the cleanest restaurant in town, nor is it the dirtiest. I've had issues ordering the same thing multiple times and paid a slightly different price each time. I've ordered omelettes with our cheese, that had to be remade. If your order is exactly as it is on the menu, you will probably be fine. If you vary your order, be mindful.

Walked in at noon on a Friday and place was empty. I can understand why. There was not a clean square inch in the place. Bathroom was filthy, tables were filthy, windows were not clean, waitress's hands were not washed. The two workers in there were discussing what their phones were displaying. We decided not to stay. Doubt if we'll be back. This place is in dire need of new management!

I love the Jacksonville Waffle House. I've always had great service and great food here. My family and I eat here routinely. We ate a late dinner here tonight and everything was on point (as usual.)

If i could give 0 stars then I would. Service was horrible but Nick was awesome ! April was investing herself into my friends and I conversation which she always yelled at me. My friends and I were the only black people in the restaurant and we did not get any syrup, or anything we asked for. Thankfully Nick helped us when he could. Love Nick as a server !

This is one of the nastiest waffle houses I've ever eaten at. Long black hairs in our food, waffles were burnt, bacon was half cooked. Would not recommend to anyone .

Worst Waffle House I've ever eaten at. Not just once but after several times expecting better results, no more for me. One particular waitress does not understand WELL, CRISPY, BROWN. Bread that was supposed to be toast served cold. Sausage served undercooked after I finished my meal. Grits lumpy and cold. Nearly have to beg for a refill.

Great customer service. Always nice and friendly. I've had everything from breakfast to the dinner food here and it's always, hot and fast in getting it. It's just that I can't never make up my mind as to what I want it's all good. They are close by and open all the time day or night. Great if you have been working or traveling to just stop in to get a bite to eat or even call your order in and they always seem to have it ready when promised.
