Waffle House

The staff is so lazy they didn’t even want to take my order. There’s a light skin girl up there that was working on Wednesday morning at 5 AM and she purposefully gave an attitude so that I didn’t place an order because they were too lazy to do anything. They’re just sitting around I came up to the window and she said it’s gonna be a minute and they were literally not doing anything. Nobody was ordering anything nobody had ordered anything they were just sitting there. They didn’t feel like working. That’s typical for people that make seven dollars an hour. But I don’t understand how this place plans to be in business if they don’t want to serve anybody

u guys MUST be joking! $14 for a cheesteak sandwich...on white bread\ Ttoast w a coke (added bacon) NO fries..nor Any side... I'm a small eater THAT did not even EASE my hunger..seriously??

Took the family to go see Lego Mega Bricks and stopped to eat. We choose Waffle House as our city does not have one. Floor and table tops were a bit dirty. Hopefully from being busy. Food was perfect. Cook did a 👍 job. Wait staff was wonderful and friendly. Will return soon.

This is my FAVORITE Waffle House on earth. Twice I've been here and both times I've walked away saying "that was the best tasting Waffle House I have ever had". Devin was our server and took the best care of us. It was busy but he was always on the drinks, got our complicated order put in perfectly, and made sure we had what we needed. Tim absolutely nailed it on the grill, I think he served us last time too. And like I said, it's the best tasting Waffle House I've ever had, on top of the great service staff and wonderful atmosphere overall.

Sometimes I visit during the day for breakfast. Then it’s mostly solid and on point. When I go late at night early am (after the bars close) the staff seems to be slightly racist. They only serve through the walk up window. The staff can’t help that. I get it. Mind you this place is in my neighborhood. It’s a I need to keep a watch on them making my food, ask for my drink that I ordered , workers acting like they are hard, stare me down, tough guy, type of environment. This is an honest review. Cash me outside how bout that.

Horrible waffle house/Staff!!! Place is open 24-hours 7-days a week. The guy in my pictures is the cook and was running the place. He turned me away and few other people as well. But served who he wanted to. Or served his self. He stayed playing on his phone and never washed his hands or anything. His mask was supposed to be up on his face. He had his mask hanging off his chin whole time. Gross!!! The waitress never washed her hands no one did. Really gross place. They do what they want when they want too. Needs be shut down ASAP!!! Never will I ever come there again. Pure laziness.

Great service and good food. I got the wrong side at first, but it was quickly fixed. No fight, however, so Waffle House experience ruined.

I go to Waffle House at least every other week, not sure where you can get your food any more fresh than their food. Their service is always the best and I love their hash browns and I love their biscuits and gravy. I will continue to visit this location and others if I'm out of this area. Best ever

I placed a delivery order and got burnt and overcooked food, partially not what I ordered, didn't get refunded for the up charge on the chocolate chips waffles that had no chocolate chips, would not recommend at all.

These people here are busy. BUSY. Came in on a Monday morning at 1030. Took a second to be helped or to even be given any eye contact. Took longer to get our waters and to get our orders in. We sat at the bar so I observed. And I realized....these workers deserve so much more pay. They had closed half the restaurant due to covid but my god, they were busy. I don't know how long their computer system was down, but they were operating on paper tickets. How the cooks never got anything wrong absolutely amazed me. How the cooks could even remember all of the ordered being yelled out amazed me more. It seemed like everyone that worked there got along so well. They respected each other, they cracked jokes, they motivated one another--they were family to each other. Watching everyone just gave me anxiety. They moved around so fast and panic stricken, just trying to run a smooth ship. I ordered a grits bowl with a side of bacon. Nothing wrong with my meal, it was exactly what I ordered. Everything tasted fine. I saw a sign out front that head cooks were wanted and the starting pay was I think 14$ an hour. They deserve so much more for how much they truly do.

I really enjoy waffle house. I really enjoy this waffle house. You know you can go in there for a good morning breakfast and get waffles and bacon and eggs and sausage whatever it is you want for breakfast. Every waffle house has the same smell and feel to it. You just smell the grease in the hot food and everything it says right there. Are used to visit waffle houses late at night you know if you go out but now that I'm older there's no way I would ever go to waffle house past dark. But it's still an excellent establishment with good old breakfast food

You don't go to Waffle House for a gourmet or healthy meal- but it's a great breakfast on occasion. The hash brown bowls get your covered, smother and delicious. How can you go wrong with hash browns, eggs, cheese, sausage and gravy! Add in a pancake the with the logo and you're set. Breakfast is served all day, service is always good and quick and your food is cooked right there in front of you. It's a go to for a quick breakfast and an easy stop on road trips that's almost as quick as fast food and way better!

This is the waffle house to go to for the 'waffle house' experience. Honestly love it. always great staff, food is good. I don't usually finish meals but i will scrape the plate clean here. Great for munchies.

I understand this is Waffle House. I personally love a good Waffle House, not this one. Not crowded several people working. All tables were dirty and sticky. Top of napkin dispensers were the worst. Gentleman brought our silverware - unwrapped it - it was spotty and crusty. No concern showed by the gentleman or apology who waited on us. Food was okay but not received as ordered. No friendly interaction from this man. Will not be back - headed to Fern Valley Rd location next time.

My flight was delayed and I have to take the first one out in the morning so I booked an inexpensive airport hotel, and it had a Waffle House in the parking lot. Because I have to be at the airport at 5 AM, I couldn't sleep for fear of missing my flight. So why not have breakfast at 3:30 in the morning, right? Well, the answer is drunk people. The place was a mad house with an odd combination of stranded passengers and heavily intoxicated locals. Luckily, they have security who made sure those of us that were sober got seated without incident. The staff impressively cleaned away the after bar drunk mess and quickly served the new round of people that came in as I did. My server was awesome. She was the motherly diner waitress type that makes you feel right at home in the middle of a slammed dinner. The food was typical Waffle House fare, and the cooks were diligent and efficient. Overall, it's not fine dining, but it's amazing for 4 in the morning.

Natalie gave stellar service. Big tip for her. As for the food. Food is usually good here. The grits taste weird. So switch out for hashbrowns they were greasy. The first bite of my waffle had grainy taste to it.

We had a server tonight Cristal that neglected us since the moment we walked in. The table was not cleared, we never got water and she refused to take our order for 30 mins. Even after calling her over she said that the cooks were too "busy and get confused". That she would take out order later. We walked out when we saw tables at the counter get seated and their orders taken by the other waitress. As we were leaving the original waitress Cristal gave us a final attitude questioning why we were leaving. Stay away from this location.

After being on hold for 30 minutes. I drove there with me still being on hold . Phone they took off the hook & was rude I told them see that phone that's me on hold employee stated oh ok . Asked to talk to manager they said we don't have one !! Honestly, just ridiculous.

I love Waffle House in general, BUT this one has drama every time I come here! There is ALWAYS some Jr high bull crap brewing between workers. I just wanna eat! Ya know? No one cares about your drama!

Staff at some are not helpful. Cooks are inconsistent. Sometimes I can get my eggs exactly how I like them, sometimes not. Staff seems to move around in Nashville, hence the inconsistency.

Ehhhh... I mean Waffle House already has a name for itself no matter where you go I feel like. Over all..Dirty restaurant. Very dirty. Service was rough they messed up our orders a lot. Food was good :) just wish all the orders came out right. I don't have much else to say. It's kinda common knowledge what to expect at Waffle House haha... I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with hash browns and I loved it. Hard to mess up:P

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to. Your staff at this location is fantastic. Your waitress are kind and very helpful. Your cooks make sure the food is to our liking. They even ask if we were okay or needed anything. The restaurant was clean. I would grade this one a 10 out of a 10. I was there at 11:00 am Wednesday. January 20th. 2021. My mother in law was very impressed also. Thank you for Hiring such a great staff. And please thank them for us. Mrs. Jacqueline Purvis

It's a Waffle House. Standard nation wide menus. Not much more to contribute, but this one was pretty clean and had friendly service

Worst service ever!!! Don't sit at the table with the blue hair waitress!!! We wanted a quick bite after flying in. Right!! Not what happened. Ordered a choc chip waffle. It was dry hardly any choc. Ordered a ham & cheese omelet. It had 3 little squares of ham. It should have been a cheese omelet. But it was the only thing warm on my plate. Ordered a side of bacon. Cold. Ordered 2 scrambled eggs. Grandson ate them all. Must have been ok. Probably not hot. The worst part was we waited 20 min for a check. After we asked twice. Instead she had a full conversation with another waitress. I have never tipped so low in my entire life.

This location has some of the best employees! Everyone I've run into was helpful, nice, and one employee was hilarious! The short order cook was cracking everyone up with his banter while I was there. The food here is as good as any other location and it's fast even on a busier morning. When I have the chance at work and need a quick bite to eat, I make sure to run in here and get a Texas melt and waffle.

This place never has any workers willing to work most of the time they are only doing to go and half the time they are rude and have bad service I don't think I'll ever go back to this Waffle House they need new staff and management

Tasha killed the game! She had all workers walk out on her tonight & she stayed & served 30 plus people in front of me. She deserves a freakin raise! I had other places to turn to but since she had such an amazing drive to get the job done, I decided to stay & eat. Thank you Tasha! Happy Thanksgiving

Never again in a million years. This is next to a hotel and even they didn't recommend it. Against my better judgement and the fact I was tired and didn't want to look elsewhere, I went in anyway. The place was dirty both inside and out. No other customers in the place and yet we still had to wait for them to clean a table. Cook was bragging how fast he could get orders out, well let me tell you why. Burgers were over cooked along with the hashbrowns. Also found a hair on our plate. The first waffle was thin with black flakes all over it. The replacement waffle was just thin. No straws for our drinks anywhere in the restaurant. Customers who came in after us were served before us. I will say that out waitress was very pleasant under these circumstances, but the other waitress was serving her customers with her fingers in the customers food. Yuck.

I have never seen a place as dirty as this one, it's disgusting. The ice tea had a soggy white like dirt around the edges inside the glass. You can't go much lower than this. I dont mind if the food doesnt have flavor because you have to eat and when you have no other options. I literally felt like puking after seeing the utensils.

Literally walked in there and the people said hello..we waited for 15 minutes and still were not approached by anyone. Finally I ask if we can have some service in which they responded by saying that their grill is down, "sorry". First off why couldn't they have offered us a drink even if their grill is down or have told us when we first walked in instead of letting us sit there for 15 minutes waiting for something to never come.

They over charged me, put my receipt with somebody else's and try to make me pay for they food, my o.j. was a kids cup and they try to make me pay for a large cup my hashbrowns was soggy and it was so FILTHY ! OMG I COULD GO ON FOR DAYS BUT IM NOT my fiancee had to fix my order for me they should of gave her a job because she was clearly doing it for them just the worst !

My husband, myself and our three children visited this location for our dinner tonight while doing a family weekend getaway. The minute we walked in the door we were greeted and taken care of above and beyond! Our waitress Sharon was phenomenal! Our food was cooked to perfection and the entire environment was laid back and all the employees were interactive with us and still doing their jobs. This by far was the best experience we have ever had. With that being said we will return when we are back in the area and all 4 employees that were working work very well together and deserve a raise! Thank you for the outstanding experience!!!

So, I'm sure there aren't a lot of people who review Waffle House, but I just want to say how great this location was. The staff-by far- was the friendliest I've ever seen. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed and then some. He went above and beyond his job and made our start to the day terrific. The food was clean and good and didn't feel greasy and gross.

So we all know the gist of a Waffle House.... Greasy food at any time of day (or night). So I'm not going to really talk about the food part of this place (although I always suggest getting hashbrowns with jalapenos on them). This location has some of the nicest workers of any I've been to. No matter what time I'm here, they're always working with a smile on their face. My friends and I love to joke around with our waiters and waitresses- we get to do that here. There's never an issue with a wait for a seat or for our food. I don't come here a ton, but when I do it fills my craving for a greasy meal and I get to talk to some of the friendliest workers.

This is the filthiest place you can visit. From sticky food on the table top to food under your feet this place can't pass a health Dept test. Food all over the floor & under the grill will make you throw up. I told them Someone threw up in men's room sick, no soap in dispenser & the floor dirty & cook laughed. Waitress cleaned table when we said it was too dirty to eat off of. One of the employees children was barking like a dog & parent thought it was funny. We've enjoyed Waffle House for years but this was beyond 3rd world

The worst of many many Waffle House experiences. We are staying at the Red Roof Inn and this Waffle House is in the parking lot making it the only restaurant within walking distance while we live in this winter storm. I was shocked by how dirty this store is. Also shocked with how the wait staff ignores customers. The wait staff are too busy with personal conversations to notice that beverages and other items are needed. And to make it worse, my waitress was arguing over a tip she thought someone stole from one of her tables. The food was less than average with undercooked bacon and overcooked eggs. I would not eat at the store except in the case of bad weather. Shame on you Waffle House for not making this store live up to the Waffle House standard. With out a doubt, he staff needs retraining.

Was traveling through and haven't eaten at a Waffle House in years. Food was great and typical breakfast but what was amazing was the pleasant staff. Just started my off off great!

Another person and I walked in to several dirty tables. When we sat down at one, our order was taken by a server with visible herpes and open soars on her mouth and face. We observed as she cleaned tables, dirty dishes, and prepared food, all without gloves or sanitation. When the food arrived, there were noticeable food spots on the plates. I've never seen such a disgusting display, especially during a pandemic in which food safety is of top importance. Don't go to this Waffle House.

Fuck this waffle house. I love the great American diner that is the crib but this place is more than a greasy spoon. It's a finger in your drink and dirty hands on your silverware. The wait took forever and Kay my waitress made me regret ordering anything. I will never be back here and I hope it goes out of business soon.

Our waitress was very nice and helpful to my grandchildren and I on a recent visit at lunchtime. One disappointment was finding out the this Waffle house location did not honor a kids eat free special I had seen. Since I was feeding the 4 kiddos I really had planned to take advantage of this deal. Instead we chose options on the kid's menu and I know we all enjoyed our meals. Overall I think the food is ample and good if you want a no frills meal.

I called them to put a call in order she acted like she couldn't hear me and then she hung up I've tried calling back at least 8 times and they let it go to a recording that's bullshit you should at least have time to take his order over the phone damn

Off duty Uber driver coming through town and attending an event at Freedom Hall. Been here two days in a row. Five star service and good attitudes here. Believe me, I have been at other locations in the US that won't get 5stars.

Can't believe this place got a decent rating from inspection. The entire place is terribly dirty and unsanitary. The mgr was even handling food bare hands. It was very loud and there were only 2 other customers inside at the time. The waitresses talked so loud and were yelling across the restaurant to each other constantly. Only positive is that they were nice and worked fast.

I usually don't do reviews. But for real this time I had to. Hard hash browns. Hair in my eggs. Took 40 minutes to sit is because no one wanted to clean the tables. Very dirty place. One good waitress. Steak aka beef jerky, because that's exactly what it looked like. Smh. Vomit on the floor. No hair nets. Like none. I don't know how to feel about placing my finger on gum under the table. Oh and they forgot the bacon!!!! Who forgets the bacon! Like nah nah nah. Never again.

Screw this place. After a night of drinking we went to this location, I got the cheeseburger with fries, simple right? As I open my bun to take off the pickles, I clearly see an ant swimming on the pickle in the pickle juices. I was like, oooo hell no... So i asked the waitress for a new burger without an ant on it. She agreed. But when it was givin to the cook, he looked at me and said, just take the pickles off and your burger will be fine. ARE YOU F'N SERIOUS?!?! Screw this wafflehouse and screw that lil punk cook.

I've been eating here for years. The food is always great!! I love Waffle House coffee! I wish I could buy it at the grocery. This is a cheap, quick diner. Don't expect more than that!!

Yeah just read Denny's review. I am guessing that you had quite a bit to drink... Waffle House doesn't serve fries.

When we got there the employees were smoking right outside the front door. When we went in and sat down they all walked in. The cook waited on us and than one of the girls came and took our order which they were both very nice. But I was happy when the cook brought us our drinks the other girl never washed her hands. As we where sitting there one of the girls was mopping and cleaning but it looked like she never swapped first. And the sugar and napkins were gross she need to look at that stuff too. Over all that was my first and last time at a Waffle House

Not sure why pickles were part of my breakfast sandwich.. but whatever. Typical Waffle House food, but was happy it was hot and I didn't have to wait forever.

This is the WORST Waffle House I have been to. I live in Tennessee and came to Kentucky Kingdom with my friends. We chose Waffle House for breakfast because we love the food. This location took forever to seat us and the employees had attitudes as well as little patience. We received our drinks in to-go cups instead of regular cups as well as plastic silverware. When our food FINALLY came out it was either burnt or under cooked. No one received a refill and when we went to pay the lady didn't say/ask anything but "Do you want your receipt". I will not be back to this location.

Like my Waffle House when I can get it. I only get to eat it once or twice a year and look forward to getting my waffles and grits. The staff in this one was very helpful and friendly and it was delicious as usual.

Delicious!!! The toast, bacon, hash browns, and eggs are amazing!! Also our waitress who's name started with an R was so friendly and nice! She really made the whole experience even better with her being so polite! It's also pretty neat to see the cook making your food, it's worth sitting at the high top to watch!

We called in ahead of time and they had it all ready in 15 mins , like they said they would. The food was amazing. We were very pleased

Always awesome. I'm here a few times a year, a few times each visit. Always very sweet gals working behind counter, nice conversations had. I've eaten in some fantastic restaurants, and this is in a different class. It is ALWAYS consistently good, consistently prepared, etc. Sometimes late night element can be sketchy, but other than that, really great. Blows Denny's/IHOP away, especially for the money.

We're here on Christmas Day and you can tell they're short staffed. The service is still super friendly, though rushed. But we still got our food quickly and correctly! Love this location. Eat here every time we're in town. The whole Christmas late night staff was amazing. Thank you all!
