Our recent Waffle House adventure was a classic! All seven of us rolled in, ready to feast, and quickly realized seating for a small army isn't exactly their specialty. We ended up in two separate booths, which, to my wife's delight (and my wallet's surprise), turned into an unexpected, intimate date breakfast amidst the hustle and bustle. The service was solid, though our food took its sweet time. But hey, when you're watching a short-order symphony unfold right in front of you, the wait isn't so bad! Seriously, the cooks are like culinary ninjas. The place was packed, with folks always waiting, proving that Waffle House is the place to be. The bathrooms were "clean enough" (which, for a Waffle House, is practically five-star!). The food hit the spot, and the prices were reasonable. Now, about those grits... being from up north, it was a definite hard pass for us. But still, it's always a treat to visit a Waffle House whenever we're in an area that actually has one.

Very easy going atmosphere. This location served up the waffles just like I like them. Eggs were perfect but they may need to check the coffee machine. Only the 4th cup of coffee was pippin hot.

Google
Waffle House proves time and time again why they have been a breakfast staple for so long. The atmosphere was very vibrant and welcoming. The wait was a bit long, but there are only a few in the greater Austin metro area. Once seated though, our server was super nice and joked with our toddler. The food was great. All-Star meal never disappoints (although I remember when it was $8 lol) Grits, blueberry nouget waffle, toast, sausage patty and eggs. Can't beat that for $13.

Google
I love this place not just because the food is great, but because of the awesome service they give. It was like stepping back in time when people were NICE. I'm talking about the workers. Every single person working that Sunday was a Pro. Team work at its finest. Highly impressed. Wish I had been here years ago. Better late than never. Excellent communication. 10 ☆'s

Google
I’ve been here a few times and have eaten inside. The service was decent, food was good but my issue is the up charge for to go orders both online and in store. Today is Sunday and it was really busy inside so I decided to make a to go order. Beware of the up charge per item, the to go fee and service charges. My daughter’s Jr meal was almost $2 more ordering to go than it was to just eat in house. So a $7.95 meal turns into $9.31. It makes getting to go absolutely ridiculous. I paid $15 over what I should have to simply get to go. I don’t know if this is due to the cost of materials when you get to go but it’s ridiculous. It may be slightly cheaper to order online and pick up than to order to go at the cabinet. Also some items aren’t available online. I decided to order to go in store to get what my daughter wanted only to find out it was way more expensive. At this point it just isn’t worth eating out.

My waitress was Jordan and she was excellent. She was very fast and attentive to me. , even though they were pretty busy. The food was better than i was expected ( i had never been to a Waffle House before). Above average on both the hash browns and waffle. And as busy as they were, received my food in about 5 minutes. Will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Google
Had an amazing experience at Waffle House! I ordered the pork chops and hash browns — both were cooked to absolute perfection. The pork chops were juicy and flavorful, and the hash browns were crispy just the way I like them. What really made the visit special, though, was the staff. Their friendly banter and upbeat energy set the perfect atmosphere — it felt like breakfast with family. Can’t wait to go back!

My first time eating at a waffle house. For what the place is... service was great. I was kinda surprised.Personnel was super friendly and patient. I had some hash browns and chocolate chips waffles. Everything was delicious and on point. Definitely recommend

Yelp
This Waffle House location never seems to amaze me. The service consistently is on point and they get me what I need. Did y'all know they had chicken sausage? Simply yummy along with everything else that I needed to fill my tummy last night. I so wish that I kept the receipt and remember the name of the young lady who is assisting me last night. She took quite good care of me and I appreciate her. This is not my first time coming and won't be my last. Thank you for your quick, fresh, and clean service that you provide in this community. The ambience is always happy and friendly. And I love that the staff members appear to get along.

Yelp
We pulled up at 4:15 AM on a Tuesday to an empty parking lot. We thought about it and then went in. The restaurant smelled clean, and all the workers spoke to us. We sat at the bar and ordered 2 all stars. The food came out exactly as ordered and within minutes. The place was surprisingly quiet, and although there was a TouchTunes jukebox, I chose to enjoy the rare calm of a peaceful Waffle House as I may never experience this peacefulness ever again. 5 stars to the workers as they were cleaning and getting ready for the morning rush. I do recommend this location to everyone... especially at 4 AM.

Yelp
To start with, I have been a Waffle House fan for a very long time. It is a special kind of place (if you know you know). If you don't know about them, it is a little breakfast food place with simple diner items. My most favorite item is Hash Browns all the way but hold the gravy. It has ham, cheese, mushrooms, tomato, jalapenos, and topped with chili. With 2 eggs over medium, and a Pecan Waffle. I don't score compared with any other restaurant, just against Waffle House. It is not a modern hipster place. They've been around a long time (but this is a pretty new one). I love my regular order (above). As long as its cooked right it will be a 5 star. It was cooked right. Although she seemed kind of new, our server got it right, and did a good job. If you come here, expect "Waffle House." Not necessarily for some people. But I enjoy the food and service.

Yelp
The food was ok, I had the cheesesteak, grits, eggs and toast, i must say this is the first time I had to put salt on my food. The staff were friendly, the establishment is small,if the 5 tables are occupied, then there's a slight waiting period to be seated.

Yelp
Decided to give Waffle House a try for the first time yesterday. It was pretty slow when we visited around 7pm. The server we had was super attentive and friendly. The establishment was clean and the food is cooked right in front of you. Prices are quite resonable as well so that's a plus. The Grilled Cheese with a side of Chili with cheese on top was simple but decent. I asked for the Grilled Cheese to be a little more on the crispy side so I was pleased with how it came out. Not really a fan of the Chili which made me think of Wendy's chili. I probably wouldn't get that again. We also got the Hashbrown Bowl with Bacon and an Easy Over Egg. The bacon was thick, the hashbrowns were nice and crisp and the egg was cooked just right so when eaten all together it was delicious. The Waffle was probably my favorite. I prefer a more crispy waffle so I think next time I'd probably ask if that's an option, however, we really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a good meal for the price we paid and I'd return again for breakfast in the future.

Yelp
I came in this past weekend and ordered a few menu items, but for the purpose of this review, I'm just gonna go with what I got for ease of reading! If you've never been to a waffle house, this chain makes claims to be the world's leading seller of several of its menu items--the namesake waffles, ham, pork chops, grits, and T-bone steaks. It also claims that it serves 2% of all eggs in the United States (that's wild). This Waffle House location is relatively small and in times of extended waits, customers stand along the windows hovered over counter customers who are eating their meals eagerly waiting for them to finish (a little unnerving if you ask me). Let's get to it, shall we? All-Star special I ordered the All-Star special with hashbrowns while adding pecans to my waffle. The waffle was a bit limp, which leads me to believe that the batter was overworked. The hash browns were crunchy and burnt, which was disappointing. The bacon was thick cut and had just the right amount of salt. While the Waffle House may not have the best waffles around, it may be a neat experience for those who want to experience a little bit of Americana on a plate.

Yelp
Definitely one of the nicest waffle houses I've been to - it was clean and the employees were super friendly. Our order came out really fast - my breakfast biscuit sandwich was cheesy and tasted great. Coffee was good. My sister got the waffle - I do wish that the waffle prices were cheaper since it looks like they're more expensive than they used to be.

Yelp
Waffle House #2446 in Pflugerville, Tx. A long awaited addition to our local restaurant portfolio. In my house we have a "Love/Hate" relationship with "WH". I love it for the menu selection, the price and value and their amazing grits. My wife...well...not so much. So today while running errands I made plans to hit up the "WH" first. Seated quickly at the counter, where I meet a lovely couple here for a daughter's wedding. I wasn't to sure on what I wanted, so my server Brittney was very patient in assisting me. I got two egg breakfast with meat, toast and grits. It was everything I imagined it to be. The food came to me hot, bacon crispy, grits perfect and toast cooked to perfection. I couldn't have made it this fast myself. I absolutely love it. Every bite. I noticed everyone at the counter had the same opinion of their meals. This location hasn't been here long, maybe 6 months. But the crew is coming together. They flow well and flawless. They work well together, and keep busy, cleaning, preparing for the next guess and they make your experience special. I will sneak back whenever I can. Michael C. - Georgetown, Texas

Yelp
As hard as this may be to believe, I have never been to a Waffle House before. Yep. This was my very first visit to a Waffle House! This one has been open for just over a week now, and clearly, the training crew is still in-house here as I write this. I gotta say, it was not the infamous Waffle House experience I have often heard about. There were zero fights or angry ranting by anyone while I was here. Quite the opposite. It was Christmas night and basically the only place open so it was packed with people, but everyone was happy and friendly. And even with all the people milling around, we were still seated within 10 minutes. Plus it looked like they were really on the ball behind the counter. My wife and I split the patty melt with hashbrowns. I thought it was delicious, but my wife was disappointed that there really wasn't any patty included with the patty melt. The meat is more akin to what they use in Philly cheesesteaks as opposed to a true ground beef patty, and that annoyed the wife because her mind was set on a hamburger. Nevertheless, I loved it, and the hashbrowns were as good as you can get anywhere. The service was fantastic! Once this place has been established and the training crew is long gone, I will have to return sometime very early on a Sunday morning and see what sort of experience this place has to offer, but for now, it is likely the most perfect Waffle House on the planet.

Yelp
The food at any Waffle House can be a hit or miss depending on the staff. But overall my experience has always been a pleasant experience. This is the new Waffle House in town. So this place is super busy with the hype of it being new! Their current hours are 7am to 3pm everyday until we start the new year. Maximum occupancy is 45 people. This place seems a little smaller compared to the rest of the ones I have been in the area and out of state. Parking is plentiful but tight for larger vehicles. Today all the staff were super busy and friendly everyone here had smiles on their faces! Which is always a great thing. With it being a facility they had everything in order to include the waitlist and making sure folks weren't sitting themselves and cutting the line. They have a juke box inside so you can pick songs to play while you're eating. They accept contactless payment such as Apple or Google Pay, contactless debit or credit cards.

Yelp
Longish wait but once you get a table the service is very quick. This place runs like a well oiled machine. The guy that looked like the manager Steph was running the place so well. My eggs were some of the fluffiest I've have at a breakfast chain. It was my first time and boy am I anticipating my next visit. There is a jukebox that you can choose music you want from the past songs to today's hits.

Yelp
"Welcome in! Good morning!" as you're greeted on entering. If you have any friends from other countries come visit who want to go to a "real American restaurant," I seriously recommend taking them to breakfast at a Waffle House, especially if your area is short on actual diner-type places. I'm not a WH regular, but have been a few times in the Austin area. Waffle Houses are usually located off a major highway or intersection, as is this one in Round Rock. It's not that big, and on normal mornings (such as the Friday in May that I visited) you should expect a wait; give your name to the gentleman who greets you as above, and have a seat by the window until your name's called. Anticipation builds appetite. Despite its reputation for late-night brawls (I only go during breakfast hours, so I wouldn't know), service is cheerful and the staff and clientele are generally very polite; if everyone cooperates, everyone leaves satisfied. Part of the fun of eating at a WH is watching the cooks work their egg/bacon/sausage/home fries magic in the open kitchen just a few feet away, especially if you sit at the counter. (There is something quasi-military about the drill precision of the Waffle House ballet, from the cooks to the greeter to the cashier, all of whom seem to be in constant motion. This location's staff knows the drill back and forth.) The coffee isn't the best you'll ever have, but it's fresh and quickly refilled. The quality of the food is almost beside the point; it is what it is, and you won't leave hungry. (If you go for the waffles, I recommend either the pecan or chocolate chip variety.) Don't fear the waffle or the house; just dive in and be an American for half an hour.

Yelp
445 AM Today was a fail. The only thing positive was I was greeted quickly as I walked in...once....with a "Hi" but downhill from there I even turned around and drove back to it after passing it and thinking it sounded good. Four Pflugerville cops in corner booth acting like frat boys-their cars running outside. Not restaurant's fault I know, just added to the misery. AC was blowing full blast and it's 50 outside Ridiculous Blowing so hard the napkins on the floor were moving around. Rap music blaring from music machine Cmon man Turn it down I Moved seats to avoid AC but couldn't get away from it After 10 mins and no service, I walked out. Place was dirty but only 5 customers Why does someone have to wait so long for service? Isn't Waffle House renowned for their speedy grill?! Employees looked at me in the eye-nothing Guy in kitchen leaning against counter watching cooks SMH No food was ordered or eaten Pretty disappointing You should do better Waffle House Choose wisely consumer.....

Yelp

Yelp
Pleasant experience and good food. The server was great and the food came out quick, hot and fresh. I would definitely pick this place over any Denny's in town. It's a good place for a solid diner experience.

Yelp
Waffle House in Pflugerville Food was delicious, coffee was hot! The have a full staff (which I was not expecting) didn't have to wait on anything because all hands were on deck. Service was great and the touch tunes works!

Yelp
Went this morning 12/23/23 for breakfast and it was busy. Counter seating open so we took it. Service was quick and pleasant. All staff treated us nicely and checked on us throughout the. Wife ordered the waffle (add blueberries and pecans) breakfast with two over medium eggs a side of hash browns and bacon. I ordered the two egg breakfast with soft scrambled eggs, ham and hashbrowns. First and foremost both types of eggs were cooked perfectly. Over medium in my opinion are the hardest to get right and they got it right. The soft scrambled were exactly what I wanted. The bacon was crispy and the hash browns were perfect. 5 stars all around. Great job folks, when we are craving a good old fashioned American breakfast we will be back.

Yelp
I have to admit, I had never been to a Waffle House, before 2 weeks ago. My husband took to the other location in Austin (off Parmer Ln) first. I had the day off on Friday then, so wait was not bad, but we sat at counter at that location, whih was smaller then this one. This one, had a wrap around counter and a few more booths. We got there around 8am on a Saturday, and the place was "hoping"! Nice gentleman in white dress shirt stood up from one of the chairs and pointed to back booth open. Now, I am a big person, so I am always leary about fitting into booths, but this was just enough for me, where I did not feel squashed! Now, what I learned, and husband told me ahead of time, it is a very small menu, and it is just basic breakfast items. So, if you are expecting the "fancy" stuff you get at like a Cracker Barrel, Dennys, or IHOP..i.e. many different ingredient omelets, fancy fruit toppings on waffes, rye toast, or gasp...pancakes (LOL)...go to one of those places! This is your basic breakfast items place (and lunch too, but have not tried that, but menu look very similiar). This is your eggs (how you like them), hashbrowns (which you can smothered, jalepenos, cheese on top), toast (white only) and choice of meat (saw they even do pork or steak..besides just your ham, bacon or sausage) and grits. Now, being just the "basic" types of food, I did not have high expectations. Boy, was I wrong! Now, goint to other location first, and citing at counter, I got to watch them HUSTLE and cook! They did at this location too. But, it was cook to watch that everything was made to order! There was one person shouting out the orders (just like you would see at higher end restaurants). They cracked the eggs right in the pan (eggs on wall in holder above stove, very cool), hashbrowns brought out to grill, and meat not brought out until ordered. Waffle makers were standing by ready to be used, when ordered. This time, I saw on "special" was "strawberry". But, again, not "fresh strawberries". The waffle (which is only thing I was little dissapointed in, as was thinner then expected), did have "red specs" in it, to represent this stawberry flavor. Will stick to regular one next time. My husband's scrambled eggs were not runny, and again, NOT "boil in bag", was made fresh! I had mine "over medium" and were cooked to perfection! As I like to mix mine with the sausage and OMG...the best grits I have had since moving here! Finally!...someone know how to make grits properly! Then, the toast, was toasted perfectly, use to pick up the yolk from my eggs! And, again, not expecting good coffee, but was actully better, then some of those mentioned above. Then, the jukebox is nice to have on,,playing cool music! But, best of all, and why I will be back...is the SERVICE! Both places had excellent customer service. They were always attentive, took dirty plates away, checked on often (which again, places above mentioned, forget this part), and always there to refill the coffee and cream as needed! WE WILL be back! Thanks!

Yelp
We have stopped at many Waffle House restaurants while traveling but this location is new to us. Our experience overall has been very good with numerous Waffle House restaurants throughout the south and southeastern US. Expectations managed. To say we were very disappointed is accurate. Walking in only 2 other customers were in the restaurant 3 staff were eating in the higher seats across from the grill and 2 more behind the counter. The counter wasn't wiped off where we sat and both mugs and plates with uneaten food were stacked up 2 seats over. No attempt despite adequate staffing to clean this up. Alarm#1 We sat down and my husband used napkins to wipe off the counter where we sat down. Server stood there watching him - no offer to clean it up. Alarm #2 Ordered coffee which by the taste had been sitting awhile but he served I anyway. Alarm #3 Server took our orders which included standard breakfast plates and a waffle for each. Another 2 employees appeared to cook. Different server delivered the egg entrees. My order wasn't correct and instead of remaking it (which required me to surrender my plate) I asked for her to just take it off the bill. Alarm #4 and they continued going off.... My bacon and the waffles arrived about 10 minutes later. The waffles were both dark on one side and barely brown on the other. One had risen and the other was flat as a pancake. As we were leaving the original server asked about more coffee - really? Not a carry out. Get a clue! Stood by the cashier station a few minutes and since neither of the previous 2 servers came over a third one was going to check us out. Multiple adjustments on the check so she had to check with the other 2 servers even though I explained it. Then as I am paying Server #1 arrives just as the tip comes up. Irony maybe? remember kindness goes further. Won't bother going back and unless you have zero expectations about cleanliness, service or food quality this may not be the place for you either.

Yelp
They took so long to sit somewhere food took 40 mins+ there was a hair in my plate server was nice and charged me for bacon i didnt get and multiple egg shells in my egg smh

Yelp
While in Round Rock me and the family when to an all time favorite, The Waffle House. All way friendly staff, cozy convenient locations and consistently good food for a good value. Definitely an American favorite in my book. I had the philly cheese steak melt, hash browns covered with chili cheese, and jalapenos and to finish off a waffle. It was delicious... I can always count on The Waffle House to provide good food fast and delicious.

Yelp
It's Waffle House. If you're looking for 5 star fine dining and service, it won't be here. If it's 1AM and you're a little hungie and want something greasy then this is the place. Waffle House does the job when most needed (when other restaurants are closed bc it's 3am on a Saturday)
google avatar

Princess O.

Yelp
This Waffle House location is one of best in the city because it's new and in a well kept area. Every time I dine at this location service is 10/10 and food is hot and fresh. Eating here is nostalgic for me and perfect to eat once in awhile for a great filling breakfast meal.

Marcus F.

Yelp
Must have caught them on a bad night two times in a row, worst WH I've ever had. One star is too generous for my experience.

Yelp
First thing is I want to say Thankyou so much to the guy in the front Matthew he is so nice and you can tell he really loves his job he was super sweet to EVERYONE that walked through the door . This has got to be the cleanest Waffle House I've ever seen fr ! Only one I'd probably go to from now on.
google avatar

Ramimi T.

Yelp
I came here around 8:15 AM it was a bit busy, but we got seated immediately. A nice gentleman was opening the door for those who came in. It was loud and did seem a bit chaotic behind the counter. Our server, Chelita, attended to us immediately. She was so sweet! We didn't know what meal to order for what exactly we wanted and she quickly was able to tell us which meal to order and what to add on with it. My bowl came out first and the plate came out 10 minutes after. My hashbrowns were a bit undercooked but it was still very delicious. My eggs were perfect and so fluffy!
google avatar

Yelp
Now I know that some people don't care for waffle House, especially because this one is not open very late at night. So you cannot witness any fabulous brawls. We have just been here a couple of times but we bring our kiddos and they enjoy it immensely because of the wonderful service that we receive. We got to sit at the countertop last time and everybody was very attentive. In fact, our waitress did a second batch of waffles for us because the first one wasn't crispy enough and she wanted to make sure that the kids felt really special and enjoyed everything. I really enjoy how the menu is priced as is with everything included so you don't have to worry about calculating more than just the tip. I think that this is a very popular location. It seems like during certain times of day, but I enjoy that. There is one closer to my house and we can go there occasionally to enjoy food that is on par with Denny's or sometimes even better.
google avatar

Yelp
Diner food at its best and friendly people! You can't beat the price for the serving size!

Kellie F.

Yelp
Sit at the bar and watch these amazing people work! Great, quick service. Tasty food was prepared well. And- clean!! It was a really busy morning too. Chelita was our server and she was attentive and kind.

Yelp
Best Waffle House I've ever visited. Fully staffed with friendly people, excellent breakfast, and fast service. Pay them a visit. Thanks Jack for being a great waiter.

Yelp
Food was well cooked expeditiously and served to me by a very attentive and polite waitress... When entering one receives a warm welcome by several staff members. BTW: I'm NOT from California!?

Yelp
Ann or Anna was awesome. The cook not so much and the team leader horrible. The cook sneezed on his arm, then placed my bacon on my toast for my sandwich and commenced to cut it. Then he continued to serve up my eggs. Did not change his gloves did not turn away from the food cross contamination. Team leader yells at the waitresses not to talk to her cooks to give the orders to her and she will call them out. That's the first time I've ever seen that the first time I've ever heard that and I've been in waffle houses up and down all over the place , she was rude when she came up to me and asked well aren't you gonna eat them, the eggs? I had someone else cook your food. Why will I eat something that can make me sick because he sneeze on his arms over the food not turning away from the food. Why are you a team leader of whatever and you talk to your employees like their trash and beneath you they are human beings and they're working harder than you. You talk about the customers very loudly I am so disappointed. I did not take pictures because there was nothing to take pictures of except our eggs which looked perfectly fixed, just had someone sneeze all over it. This was between 9 o'clock and 10 o'clock on a Saturday night when we sat down there was only three tables full. I'm just upset
google avatar

Lani L.

Yelp
Even if you're lazy to make breakfast don't go eat here. Also at this particular location which is spanking new. Maybe it's the cook or maybe it's just bad overall. Was looking forward to this new location, but one visit just ruin it for me. The food was really bad. I feel bad leaving a bad review.
google avatar

Bobbie N.

Yelp
Breakfast was okay. It would have been better if it had been hot or at least warmer. The waffle especially was as cold as if it had just been taken out of the fridge. Not all of the food came out at once. The sausage and bacon came out well after we had begun eating what we did have. Alot of chaos behind the counter. Too many employees behind the counter.
google avatar

Yelp
I don't frequent Waffle House to begin with but when I do want it, I want it and usually have put some thought into it. This location has limited hours that are posted (7am - 9pm). It's posted very plainly to see. I was met at the door at 8:18p by an employee with a mop bucket. He made us aware that they'd only be doing "to-go" orders. I asked why and was told, "boss man wants everyone out by 9p". We come inside and the cashier again states that it's only Togo orders. I see a small sign stating it will be a 20% fee on Togo orders. So not only can I not dine in being there a full 40 minutes before you close but I also will pay a surcharge because I'm not allowed to dine in.

Bri L.

Yelp
The staff was really fun and friendly! We got our food very quickly. The restaurant was clean. Would recommend for anyone in the area.

Makeup M.

Yelp
Just wondering if it's acceptable to send customers away or refuse seating at 7pm when the restaurant closes at 9 because "he" I'm assuming the manager wants to be done by 9pm because my mother and grandmother went last night and got told at the door as soon as they got out of the car that they couldn't come inside or they're order had to be "to go" I work at a smoothie king in Austin hours 7:30 - 9 and the store owner would have my head if we said that to a customer like wtf

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
It's our favorite breakfast place. I love how they have a waitlist is so smooth. They are always on time in calling us.

Nick P.

Yelp
The team at this place were amazing. Felt right at home and had the most amazing service and food I have had in a long time. Who ever works your Wed night shifts at 11-12 am need raises for sure. Great job!

Sandra M.

Yelp
The staff is very attentive and the food doesn't disappoint. I love their Texas cheese steak melt with their hash browns.

Yelp
Like every other Waffle House. Food was good and place looked clean. People were nice.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try this place for awhile since it opened a few months ago. Waffle House has always been known for a tasty basic breakfast at affordable prices, and this one was no exception. It's kind of small inside with maybe 5 booths and a dozen counter stools, so if you go at peak times, you may be in for a wait. Like I said, it's basic breakfast fare, so don't expect gourmet omelets like at First Watch. But then again, Waffle House is about 2/3 the price of First Watch!

Yelp
Our server name was Jack. He was amazing! First time at Waffle House. He made us feel welcomed and took very good care of us. The food was great. Our meal was under $20! The place is very fast moving and they played great music. Overall had a great experience. We will be coming back.

Yelp
Quite disappointed! I was super anticipating this new location being great due to it being closer to home. I am frequent Waffle House guest across America. To start at first glance the place was atrocious, several tables were just sitting dirty. The service wasn't bad at all. Obviously fresh new attitudes were a delight but the food was terrible! All my food was cold. The grits were hard. The bacon was burnt. My sausage was undercooked. All things I have never experienced out of one of my favorite breakfast spots. I will stick to the Dessau/Palmer location. There is still hope and potential... but I ain't got time for my food to be played with !!

Yelp
1) the "greeter" has zero idea what he's doing. First he says 10 minutes but you have to be inside. Then he says 15 more minutes but go outside and keep checking in every 5 minutes. When we got seated the guy said I need you to move the people before you finally showed up. So we were forced to wait again after being seated. Then, we order. Some lady with the most annoying voice ever barking at the cooks in front of the whole restaurant listing off 5 bacons, 4 sausages, etc. instead of putting in the orders and letting the cooks do their job, they were putting out partial orders. Example we got the bacon, a while later we got the eggs, a while later then the hashbrowns, and then lastly the flat pathetic waffle pictured below. Typically at a restaurant you get your meal on one plate and not in 5 minute intervals. Whoever is running this restaurant clearly has never worked in the industry and needs to know that they should have a computer bumping out the order and letting the cooks do their job. An order needs to be served at once not in individual portions. I've never experienced such disorganization and since your name is Waffle House you should make sure your waffle is good. Do you think this flat, soggy waffle is acceptable? It was flat and soggy but my dogs don't care so I took it to go for them. You need to visit any breakfast place and see how it should be done and rethink your whole operation. Get rid of the loud annoying barking girl. She's not helpful and disruptive to all the customers. I couldn't imagine having to work there. It's got to be extremely stressful for the staff because as a customer it was stressing us out.

Yelp
Have eaten at over 50 Waffle Houses Across the Country 100's of Times. District Manager needs to get in here and show this bunch how to run one. It is completely out of control, but with cooking and customer flow. One of the poorest examples of a Waffle House I've ever experienced, and this is not a one time thing. It can be fixed. The people creating this problem are not at fault. They have NOT been properly trained. Waffle House has this down to a science. They just need to teach it here.

Yelp
Myself and 3 friends have visited this Waffle House twice in the past several weeks. The food and the service are very good; however the loud and obnoxious music really detract from the ambience. Whether the music is for the staff or customers I haven't decided, but four of us reached the decision that it is not for us as currently operated. We will be hesitant to return, as there are other area restaurants with good food and some peace and quiet. I realize this is a new location and hope that they would take a lesson.
