Waffle House

Waffle House is one of my go to places for breakfast, especially on a road trip. I happened to be in the Mobile area and stopped here to get a good hot meal and a cup of black coffee. One of the good things about Waffle House is tou generally know what you're going to get. My server Samantha was attentive and the cooks got my All Star Special our quickly. From my experience this is a Wa-Ho you can count on.

My waitresses were very rude. It was 6 of us and had to do tables. They didn't like that. My drink was taken from the table that I said I didn't want to sit at. I had to ask for it. Couldn't get a straw until it was time for us to leave. No, I didn't tip. Just the gratuity charge. 7/13/25 11am. White girl with thick fake eye lashes and a black girl named Shantae.

My grits tasted like straight up mold and made me feel sick to my stomach. I had my husband try a bite and he confirmed that it tasted like mold. I'm wondering how long they let grits sit in a container before switching it out.. it was awful.

Great meal friendly srvice...it's Waffle House...comfort food.. N grits N hashbrowns anyway you want them

I don't visit Waffle House often, but when I do I usually enjoy my food. I always appreciate the speedy service too. Our waitress was really friendly too which is always a plus!

The All Star breakfast...grits, sausage, over easy, and hubby says the coffee's good! All hot n tasty. (Love that drawl too!).

Food was very good! Friendly service. Very efficient. The cooks and waitress Heather did their jobs very well. I would of put 5 stars but the bathroom floor needed a good cleaning.

Don't own shoes or a shirt? This is the Waffle House for you! Because they'll let anyone dine in their dine establishment! Come in! Take your shoes off! Heck, take your shirt and pants off too! The food was great, really. Exactly what you should expect from a Waffle House. Don't sit under the air conditioning vent - you and your food will get dripped on.

5:30 am after sleeping in the RV in the nearby Walmart parking lot (thanks, RV Parky app!) and it's time for coffee. And breakfast. I was going to head further down the highway but opted to stop here because WAFFLE HOUSE! On a Sunday morning, I was not the only person here. A regular came in and they cooked his special breakfast. He even brought an avocado and I guess regulars get special food. Who would think "avocado toast" at a Waffle House but I saw it. My waitress was clearly exhausted after a Saturday night shift, needing reminders for silverware and a coffee refill and to call out the rest of my breakfast order. But we got it done. Caleb was cooking this morning and made a good Fiesta Omelet though I think more "stuff" would have improved it. The grilled city ham was good. I had a nice chat with Caleb who is an amiable sort. This review is not about the service or quality of food. Both of which, were absolutely on par with what you expect from a Waffle House; delicious and convenient. I placed a phone in order to be picked up on my way in to work. At the register is a fairly large sign stating that there is a 20% fee for "to go" orders. 20%!?!?!? What on earth would make filling a "to go" order require a fee as opposed to a fine in order? Oh wait dishes don't need to be washed, refills don't need to be made. A table is not occupied preventing another customer from being served! Very unimpressed Waffle House!!!

I love Waffle House because the sausage patties and the raisin toast are so good! I want to come back!

I came here twice. Once stone sober during the day and once hammered drunk at 4am. Staple of the south, Waffle House isn't really groundbreaking or amazing. More of a novelty and great for drunk munchies in the wee hours of the morning. This one didn't really impress me enough to go out of my way to have it again

It is exactly what you expect from the Waffle house. The food is good and consistent. The wait staff is nice and attentive. The decor is old and old school, but it's likely why the food is cheap. So it's a win.

Waffle House has become a familiar spot upon the southern landscape of the United States. The familiar yellow neon has been a draw for people seeking food whatever time of the day or night. I myself have always liked the patty melt, though eggs and meat have also grabbed my attention, but the true star of their menu will always be their hash browns and the toppings you can elect to have them covered in such as chili, ham, etc. Service, while not stellar, is usually solid. Waffle House is not about fine dining, but rather it embraces the concept of the roadside greasy spoon. It offers affordable meals cooked in front of you and served with hopefully a friendly smile. What more can anyone want for a quick meal? I would recommend this location and encourage all to stop by.

It's Waffle House, what all can you really say? Friendly service. Clean area. Great food, served fast and hot. The temperature was actually nice in this one, with the thermostat not set to arctic levels. Music on the jukebox playing was at a decent level, not too loud. 5 stars.

This is our "local" WH. This WH isn't just any WH... it's like our "Cheers". Everyone knows our name and order. It's more like a small town diner vs a chain restaurant. My husband has "breakfast club" there with his buddies several times a week and I tag along during Summer Break. This has also been our go to place after Mardi Gras Balls and late nights at Lucky's or the river. I enjoy the food at this location the most and I love the manager Sam and several of the waitresses. I love how community oriented this location is and I also love how they support the police officers of our community. I would highly recommend this location.

We come here often and it's always good. They treat us like family here. Only thing I wish would go back to the old way is the coffee and bring back wraps!

Horrible service. Had to wait almost 30 minutes AFTER we got our food for our meat and when we tried to call our waitress she flat out ignored us. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

Great distance from the hotel. Of course, Waffle Houses are like the Walmarts of the world; ONE NEAR YOU. This Waffle House fit the bill quite nicely. Great service. Friendly staff. Friendly patrons. Prompt food delivery. Busy but not so busy the when we got there we had a long wait to eat, which is a plus since the Waffle House locations are all the same size... Tiny. I found the service to be prompt. And the food delivery was great as well. Pricing was fair. We were able to get in, order our food & leave in time to make our morning event. Parking was good as it was connected to a hotel, so there's a plus for ya.

Waffle house in Oklahoma is bomb. This place? Nah. I wouldn't go. Although our server was super nice and adorable, the food was average ..honestly I could've cooked it myself. The price was good. But there was a server in there singing loudly (not good either I might add) and it was annoying since we were trying and to eat. And lastly, the dish dude was SO loud and clanging the dishes and then as we ate he stared at us. Cause that's not creepy at all. #weirdvibes

Saw so many great reviews so walked over for a hamburger. People are very nice. The WH though is filthy. The plexiglass dividers at booths are smeared with handprints and grease. Floor is visibly dirty. Food is Oh what to say.....the hamburger was ok. The hash browns were half cooked and cold. Glad I went so I know never to go to a WH again.

Oh my gosh! Is there anything better than Waffle House food at 1 am on a Sunday morning when you've been out listening to an awesome band with your girlfriends?? I say nothing! Especially when the staff is so friendly and sweet Our orders were taken promptly, and fresh, hot food served quickly. My fav...eggs 'n cheese and that raisin toast with apple butter!!!! Yummmm! Mac is the man, or should I say the Cook! I ordered the steak and eggs, it came out cook exactly like I ordered it! Eggs over easy and steak medium. This is the first time my order came out exactly the way I ordered it at a Waffle House. Thanks Mac for taking pride in serving and cooking. You have made my day a little more enjoyable today!

This is my favorite waffle house. The food is always really good and the staff especially nice. It's just great. My mom and I have breakfast there fairly often.

I was traveling from Louisiana and stopped in to this Waffle House. Everyone was very welcoming and wasted no time taking my order. I ordered the All Star and wanted to substitute the meat due to me being a pescatarian. They told me I couldn't so I just told them I would bring it home with me to my son. I went to the restroom while I wait and they had my food ready. They put the meat in a separate container for me. I thought that was so sweet and thoughtful! When I got in my car, I ate while driving(I know I shouldn't have but I was late getting back to LA.) and the food was delicious to say the least! Everything was hot and tasted great! Whenever I'm going that way again I will definitely pay them a visit because I don't even eat Waffle House often at home lol

If you like eating with flies and other bugs and two tons of grease in the food - have at it. Place is getting so dirty. Food has to be cooked two and three times and is still not right.
