Not much to say about Waffle House that hasn't already been said. Quick and attentive service, fresh and hot food. Another perfect visit to the South's 2nd best export (other than college football)

They remodeled the interior. It's fresh and clean. The entire staff was very friendly. (Like the friendliest group of folks I've seen in a long time.) Food was awesome. Got my favorite; cheesy eggs ,grits and raisin toast with a side waffle. My wife got a burger and fries. Food was perfect. Prices better than Denny's or IHOP by a mile. It's the Waffle House experience you miss from the old days. Great job!

I ordered the all star special due to I haven't had grits in a long , long time . Extra butter for me . I stopped by to see if they were open and they are . I asked if they had grits and she said yes they do . That was the deal breaker for me . I said I'd be back and sure enough I was back . Food is great as if I made them . Mia was helpful and

This was my first time going to a Waffle House and I was super happy with my experience. My brother and I went here for his birthday and our waitress was so helpful in showing us how to get our birthday freebie. We had to wait a little outside but it was worth it. The smells and atmosphere inside are awesome and remind me of home. I especially appreciated the tobasco already being out.

it’s a nostalgia for me. We don’t have waffle House in California and every time we travel out, I’ll make sure I find one and the atmosphere always reminds me of federal days. The service is great and somehow their breakfast just taste different. Good different.

Can’t go wrong with Waffle House. Everyone is always nice and food is always delicious. My husband convinced me to try it out since I’ve never been interested. If you’re hungry and want a good bite and like me never tried this place, GO 😝 you’ll be pleasantly surprised like myself.

It's been a while since we have been to this Waffle House. We did not have the greatest experience on this visit. We were quoted 15 minutes, but we waited about 35. We did not receive both orders at the same time. The server said my waffle would be about 5 more minutes after delivering my husband's order. My husband was done eating before I received my waffle. Unfortunately, my waffle was not cooked completely. The server said she would have it remade and take it off the bill. It was remade, but unfortunately, it was not taken off the bill. Overall, it was not the best experience.

Perfect late night spot for waffles after a concert. we were walking back to our hotel after a concert and this was on the way. 11 pm 2nd dinner was perfect. The waffles and bacon were great! The waitress we had was very nice helpful. We will for sure come back when we go to another concert nearby

Fantastic Breakfast. The fact that you know exactly what the kitchen looks like. The speed. The basics of it. The cook was awesome pushing breakfast out within 5-10 minutes. The coffee was not weak. As you can see in the picture. As for the waffle, fantastic! There is something about the butter and the syrup. Hubby usually likes Peanut Butter in his waffle, but we just got the regular one. The bacon was delicious, thick and 3 slices!!! So, 2 breakfasts, 2 coffee & 1 waffle was $33. Can't get that price anywhere else. The only place that I can trust to eat a good breakfast anytime of the day. Also, Hubby ate all his grits. So I guess that is a good sign about that! PS. Don't forget to tip the cook when eating at a Waffle House.

My absolute favorite location. Great service, great food, amazing staff. This location seems to be consistently busy but they get you in and out. Love coming here. The grand slam is the best deal.

OMG the loaded has browns are to die for. I took the extra step, went the extra mile, and ordered Two sunny side up eggs and just slid them on top of my loaded fries and that's it, that's how I have to order them from now on. Just simply irresistible. Service was lightning fast, and atmosphere is your small diner type, just love it.

Good heavens. This has to be the worst Waffle House locations in all of Arizona. I would recommend driving across town to hit the next location. First, I will say that the team is great. Attentive and helpful. And they definitely hustle. And they are consistent. You know exactly what you're going to get: crispy hash browns, greasy bacon, buttery grits and biscuits, and decent waffles (that are now, strangely, a bit more fluffy and chubby than I recall from my college days). But, goodness, this place is filthy. Notably worse that most other Waffle House locations. I won't be coming anywhere near this location ever again.

Best Waffle House I've bet been to. The food was so good. The service was excellent as well. The inside had the typical layout of a Waffle House.

This was my first Waffle House, and the one I went to in every Phoenix visit from 1988 to the end of the all you can eat special. I would eat so much I would leave my sister's toilet scattered, smothered, and covered.

Stopped in for a late bite from LA. I'm here for my graduation in Glendale. Had to have Waffle House with my family that never had it. Last time I had it was in 1990 when I was in the Navy. Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. The chefs handled business! Great prices. Great customer service. If I had room in my belly I'd order more. Great job; the chefs and crew gets 5 stars from me!

Came in at 11pm, at this restaurant and it was so dirty, food all over the floor as well as silverware. Waitress was sitting on the counter. Took forever to get our drinks, and no one was in the restaurant. There was a half eaten steak and drinks at the cash register. Everything was less than desired. This location is also to go only Thursday-Sunday.

Tasty waffles cooked to perfection; everything else was ok! My chicken hash browns were like noodles, frozen noodles of potatos. I eat healthy/ meal prep & hardly eat restaurant food so eating here was a treat. I will recommend but I'll pass on returning. Super polite, professional & hospitable staff. Average prices. Clean interior & bathrooms. Free easy parking in lot.

Had never eaten here, finally tried it. EXACTLY AS I IMAGINED. Eggs overcooked, you complain, I'm not. Liked the chili, that, too, was exactly as I had imagined. Service was just fine. Can't tell if it's cheaper than a Denny's or IHOP. But was just fine.

Fast service, food was great! We were a group of 8 and even though there was only 1 server and 1 cook there, we got our food super fast! Grits were delicious, waffles nice, fluffy and delicious, biscuits and gravy were good too. Hat's off to the cook!

They were super busy tonight after a concert but the waitress and the two cooks did such a good job! They were so nice and had a really good system to get the orders out as quickly as possible. Really good positive vibes from the three working tonight. I wish I got their names but way to kill it y'all :)

Visited 5/31/2022 This place is disgusting. Surrounded with homeless living in the parking lot and around the edge of the building. The kitchen is extremely filthy and visible to all. The server was extremely unfriendly and acted like she hated everybody. Way to get tips young lady. Obviously the employees don't care about their job and make absolutely no effort to sweep the floors or clean anything. After observing the filth on the floor we finished our coffee and left without eating. (See The Pictures to see the truth) I can't believe the city health inspectors have not closed this place down. Sadly this store gives The Historic Famous Waffle House Chain a Very Bad Name. Pretty bad when the toilet in their restroom is cleaner than the kitchen. I'll Never Return

PROS: - The parking lot is small, but there is a rear open area behind the restaurant that has more parking. - The staff here work their a$$es off, but they can improve the queuing system. - The food is just okay. CONS: - The queuing system is horrible. You get there, stand there, and hope that people are honest. - The table bussers need to work faster. There was a vacant table empty for like 20 minutes.

The food is good nice and hot . The eggs are cook to your liking. The hash browns are tasty and the sausage, bacon are cook perfect. The grits and wheat toast is my go too start. Can't go wrong with the waffles and pecans. That's why I order the all star breakfast . The service is excellent day and nite. The ambience is good there around midday with nice music and peaceful atmosphere around 2 A. M. to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a waffle! Thank you Tolleson for the good friendly service.

I love going to Waffle Houses for consistent cheap good tasting meals. They always have a lot of staff and are very friendly. I was alone so I ate at the bar which allowed me a great opportunity to watch the cooking in action and the friendly banter of the staff among each other. You can tell a lot by how the staff interact with each other. This staff clearly like each other and seem happy to be here. I had the all star special with hash browns, sausage, scrambled eggs with added cheese, wheat toast and a waffle. Of course, the waffle is the star of the show at any Waffle House and they make them just right. I wasn't a fan of the sausage and would choose bacon for future meals. Everything else was just as it should be with consistent coffee refills and frequent check ins by my waitress. Good job Waffle House! Now, please open your stores in the Puget Sound area!

We finally decided to stop by this location for breakfast and everything we order was delicious! We love their new smaller menu as it still has a lot to offer! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly and quick. Overall we had a pleasant experience and will be back soon!

The place was dirty, food was all over the floor where the staff just talked around it rather then sweepir up. The floor was so greasy the waitress almost fell a few times. I literally felt like I was gliding across the floor from all the grease. The food selection was very few and mediocre. Only good thing was the waitress was very kind and tried to accommodate us as best as she could. The real cherry on the top was the guy that came in with his Aryan Nation shirt, smh

I had always wanted to try Waffle house since everyone said it was the very best. This spot had lots of parking and convenient area. The people working there looked super happy and were very nice! I did love the family vibe. The food was ok nothing really stood out that would make me want to come back. It was really nice to finally try it though.

This was the best wafflehouse I've ever been to. It's not in a good part of town but it was clean. Service was fantastic. She was fast and refilled drinks 3 times in the 40 minutes we were there. My eggs were cooked perfectly. I've had some bad wafflehouse experiences, I think it's probably part of the experience. Everyone who was with me enjoyed themselves.

My girlfriend and I love Waffle House, it's our go to quick date night. With that being said everything about our experience here was bad. I've yet to have a bad experience at a Waffle House, but this was our first and only time here. Our food was overcooked, and our waitress Jenet was one of the rudest waitresses I've had in a long time. Blatantly ignoring or not responding to requests, only to silently bring it to the table and leave, or if she did interact it was short, and we never were once asked for a refill either. I would avoid this waffle house.

Absolutely the filthiest restaurant I've ever seen. I should've known better when I saw there was only one car in the parking lot on a Saturday early evening. I would rather eat out of a dumpster than out of this restaurant

The old black women was so disrespectful, I understand your trynna get people gone but you can be nicer when taking orders and service, and threw the straws, how RUDE! The food was great though! The one with blue hair

Best Waffle House experience I've ever had. Service was great. Food was great. Ambience was chill. Also the cleanest Waffle House I've been to. Bacon was good and crispy. Everything tasted great.

I have only been to Waffle House a twice, and this was my first time here, me and my sister Bri came here and everyone was honestly very nice and friendly and they went out of their way to help us. It felt like we were apart of their family. The food was outstanding, and awesome. It was fresh, the ham and eggs and waffles was very good i won't lie. And i really appreciate how everyone' was. Thank you all. We didn't take pictures because we was in a rush, lol. But the food was really good. I recommend you guys try this place. The only reason why i gave them a 4 star is because there to go boxes were so many, we literally had like 8 boxes for just us lol Thank you for everything.

Micheal was truly a saint. He provided a great service and gave us a smile that lit the whole building up. Great food, and a perfect opportunity to show our oriental friend what real American food is. 5 stars out of 5.

Where do I start... this experience has definitely ruined my want to return to any Waffle House destination. My crew and I came in to grab a quick lunch before heading out to our concert. Got in, was seated upon walk in and then left to wait. Our original host gave us utensils and bounced helping out every other table except ours with no communication. Rude, attitude, and unprofessional. After a while of waiting I finally got the attention of another host by the name of nicole who was very sweet and did her best to recover the irritation of my table but it was slim. Nicole took our food and drink orders and we got our food in about 15 mins. We were seated by the kitchen & it was a bad idea being that it was not the cleanest. But I should have known just by looking at the staff's attire. This was definitely an annoyed experience. The food was over hyped, freaked out about the lack of cleanliness, and just not the best location to choose. My experience was so trash I did not even take pictures of the food‍

First time at the Waffle House. I arrived at 9:45 on a Thursday and it was nearly full. The hostess seated me in about 5 mins but the counter seat spot was still dirty. She shrugged her shoulders and went back to her station. My server, Tina, greeted me quickly and said she would wipe it down. I ordered a waffle, plus hash browns with onions and gravy. It all came to only $8.60. My breakfast arrived in five mins. Everything is cooked to order but they have waffles and hash browns cooking at all times. The waffle was good but not great. Very thin, light but not fluffy. The browns were okay as well. They were nice and crispy with plenty of gravy but the onions were raw, instead of sautéed, as promised. The place was very loud, especially at the counter, where the servers yell the orders to the cook. Aside from the dirty counter, the restroom was DISGUSTING. There was pee all over the floor, the sink was dirty and the mirror was smudged with something (I didn't want to know). Probably no return visit.

Good food, amazing staff, service dogs welcome, eaten here 3 times during our trip and staff was friendly every time, store was clean and service was fast, we will probably be stopping here any time we are in Phoenix from now on

I Absolutely Love the Atmosphere in this restaurant, it gives you that love warming environment and the feeling of a home cooked meal. The staff are the sweetest and will not disappoint to put a smile on your face. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to go even for one time.

Sorry this place was a mess and would not be going back. Burnt bacon was gross . This place needs an overhaul bad.

Again, in another state and another dirty Waffle House. Every table was dirty when we walked in and they appeared to be under staffed. It took us 15 minutes to get a table. The food came out fast but then was wrong. Our waiter did not refill out drinks and we had to ask for refills. The two girls working were worried about laughing and taking instead of helping the customers. The food was actually good but the service and dirtiness makes it undesirable. One and done for me.

Wanted to ck out the Waffle House before heading back to California. This place takes you back to the 50s and it was neat the way they run the place. Everyone is ready to help you and the food comes to you within minutes. It's real simple food nothing special but the pecan waffle was the show.

this place makes you wait too long ! the host is either slow or purposely not wanting to seat latinos . somewhat racist to me. i get the place is busy but at least mention or speak up to the guests to male sure we know we got to wait for a table that is obviously clear and open to be seated after 20 min. didnt want it to be a karen moment but dam they asking for it . not good service at all. food smelled bomb tho eeh.

Horrible service. The host looked stoned. He told us there would be a 30 minute wait despite there being multiple unclean tables available. The manager and a female employee were fondling each other in the middle of the cooking area blocking our server from leaving our food. When I asked the female employee with a Cardinals jersey she scoffed and ignored my question. Absolutely horrendous.

Probably the best place I went for real good food as I visit Phoenix. Never in my life have I had such a pleasant time here. Service was nice, food was quick, and mainly, all good! I enjoyed how they were low with the prices, which makes it good. $8.10 for a breakfast plate, yes please! I wish I had this kind of place in my area! If you plan to eat for breakfast, this place is one to go. I swear, the two players were cooked up under 8 minutes! Final words? Good quality as a good and reasonable price. Definitely plan on coming back!

Always love the food here. The cheesy eggs are my favorite. Bacon always cooked perfect. Coffee simple n good. Hash browns with pepper's are delicious. Toast n jam perfect.

It's a Waffle House...and I wasn't drunk . BUT, service was on point and the food was great, no complaints. They took a little while to clean our table off so we could sit down (8 minutes after the people sitting left), but other than that, everyone that worked there was cool, especially our server Sarah! Would definitely come back!

I love Waffle House. Always a good time. I always get a biscuit, scrambled eggs with cheese, and a hash brown. Service is always fun too.

The Waffle House- classic ? Living in Ca we don't have many if any Waffle House- I'm excited I get to check this one off my list!-- Entering the restaurant it's smaller than I expected but very cute has a Mel Diners kind of touch with an In-n-Out employee environment. All employees were friendly and helpful , all worked together. Our order was extremely quick - like I think the cooks heard us order and began cooking which was awesome because who wants to wait? ! Drinks were refilled promptly- (never had to ask, they were on it.) no complaints on the food neither BF or I ! We were satisfied and he described his as "perfect". Would definitely stop at this one again and the bar has been set pretty high for return visits at Waffle House around the country!

Whenever we're in Phoenix visiting family we stop at the Waffle House at least once. We enjoy the waffles, eggs, and bacon. A delicious way to start a day of shopping and hanging out. Laurel, our waitress, was both friendly and attentive. The waffles were just as expected . . . warm, tasty, flavorful and abundant. The hint of vanilla brings it home for me everytime. In fact, I use no topping so as not to dilute the robust waffle flavor. Scrambled eggs. Perfection. Two eggs scrambled on the grill. Not overdone. Fluffy, and delicate. Glass of orange juice. Heaven.

This location is BUSY even at 3 in the morning but the staff was nice and food was good. Can't say anything negative about my experience here.

The place was pretty good but the food was a little cold which made my wife and son and dad a little mad. The customer service was amazing and they brought us out all new food that was nice and hot and tasty. My family was so pleased they were willing to help us they were all smiling and having such an amazing time. The drinks st this place are super good too and all the people who work there are super cool and super helpful
