Got to meet the owner who we could have a great conversation with. It was a relaxing experience and the waffle has a nice crisp along with tasty strawberries on top. Definitely visiting again!

As soon as you walk into the place you’re greeted by the very friendly staff. The menu is right upfront behind the counter and it’s huge, making it easy to make a selection. The menu items sound so good makes you wanna try everything. We got the sweet thing combo and the chicken and waffles. It was so delicious. I wish I knew about this place earlier. There’s a self ordering kiosk up front right by the register for you to use but if they’re not busy, they’re going to personally take your order. This place is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is amazing and the prices are on point. Not to mention this business small is owned and operated by a woman.

Great food. If im being honest, I didnt expect much out of this place… but boy was I wrong. The variety of waffles shocked me. The ingredients are fresh. Cooked very well. Give it a chance. Put aside the preconceived notions and enjoy your meal. You'll be pleasantly surprised too. I just wish i had a bit more fruit in the portions. Overall good experience and will be back.

This was a horrible experience. The eggs were old, the pancakes were dry as hell—just a complete waste of $30. Even my 1-year-old spit the pancake out, and that says a lot. I really wanted to support a Black-owned business, but it’s sad when our own people don’t care about quality or customer service. And of course, no refund offered. Just disappointing.

Had breakfast there this morning! The young lady that took my order was very soft spoken. But, she was pleasant. I ordered the Las Vegas breakfast special with an extra sausage patty. The food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I joked with one of the owners saying, I was there for my 12 o'clock interview. He said, I was way too early! We laughed and he took the empty plates off the table. And I love the music playing in the restaurant! 👍🏾👍🏾I would recommend this place to everyone! Great job guys! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

We’ve been meaning to try this place and I’m annoyed we waited so long. Great waffles (so good I ate it before I remembered to rake any pictures). Friendly service. There are about 7 different batters or so. Gluten free is an option as is red velvet. I went with a standard batter topped with bananas, strawberries and whipped cream. To top it all off — it was very inexpensive. $4.99 for a base waffle and $3 for toppings. This place is now solidly in our breakfast rotation. You order at the counter and pay. Someone brings out your food when it’s ready. The orange juice wasn’t very good however. The coffee, on the other hand, was.

This is such a cute cafe, it's my go-to breakfast spot. Absolutely love the food! The ingredients are very fresh and prices reasonable. I love the Breakfast Delight Waffle and scrambled eggs. The music is the cafe is one of my favorite parts of dining there, easy going soul type vibe. For delivery (doordash) and to go orders, they put the toppings in separate containers to make sure the waffle stays fresh. They have military discount and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!

For Being in a strip mall with local owners this place is great. Super friendly staff even the owner wanted to make sure we had a good experience. Highly recommended the chicken and waffles were excellent and cooked to order not pre-made chicken at all. Will visit again next time I see my cousin in Vegas.

If I lived in the area, we'd come back to Waffles Cafe much more often. We were looking for brunch in the area and waffles sounded real good, especially with good ratings. We walked in and I immediately told my husband that it felt like a Midwest restaurant, in all the best ways. It's smaller, has a home-style vibe and the portions to the pricing matched really well. This place isn't glamourous, just good food with a nice place to sit and friendly people working. The person taking our order was thorough and gave us all the options. She was super friendly (as everyone working was) and really made us feel welcome. We ordered chicken and waffle combos, one with bacon and the other with turkey sausage. Let me tell you, we didn't finish, even though we wanted to because the portion is generous. I felt bad not taking home my delicious chicken tenders but we were out doing errands and they would not have made it. The waffle itself was crispy but soft and sweet but not so much that syrup made it cloying. Excellent! The self-serve coffee bar and water station were nice. There was only one thing I absolutely didn't like and it was the iced vanilla latte. It was clearly powdered mix, which is fine, but this one didn't taste good or the proportion of mix to water was off. That's ok though, one thing out of all the things isn't something to cry about.

I ordered the Tropic Thunder and it was excellent. Different options for syrup and I decided on the Strawberry syrup to stay with the tropical theme. Being an islander, I recommend this waffle. Get a combo and get eggs with either bacon or sausage patties. The ambiance is a "family" vibe with service served with a smile.

I enjoy a good breakfast spot and i have found just that! I was actually looking for something that was a step up from the usual fast food fried chicken and thought, let's check out their chicken and my husband tried the waffle breakfast sandwich. We were both quite pleased with our discovery and will make this a top choice going forward. If you like chicken that is fully seasoned and cooked to the bone, crunchy and delicious, if you like waffles with a slight crunch on the outside but light and airy on the inside, if you want a unique breakfast sandwich of bacon, eggs (seasoned to perfection) with a light hint of syrup between a waffle that, by the way, worked perfectly flavor-wise and structurally to the hot sauce dousing before being consumed. This is the place for you. We noticed a steady stream of take-out orders during our visit so we will have to try that as well, but i recommend sitting down and enjoying the country cafe feel. The service is fantastic and the restaurant is kept in pristine condition. You just can't miss with this spot. Enjoy!

I had the s'mores waffle and it was absolutely amazing!! The ambience is kinda sad but the workers were nice and polite and the food was great. Will definitely go back.

This is one of our favorite local spots to support! The prices are reasonable. The chicken and waffles always hit the spot. I love the strawberry butter and the blazing sauce that comes with it. They're always adding new things to the menu be sure to check the signs near the cashier for these. Staff is always very friendly. Just make sure you ask if your to go order is ready even if your in person. I ordered in person and the person who took our order knew we were there. Just a minor inconvenience. But just sad to have our food sitting for that long. Especially when we had beat the rush.

We discovered this little restaurant on our way to Mt. Charleston. It's a very unassuming, no frills, nonsense environment. If you are looking for a spot for your next Instagram reel this won't be it. The place is very simple, the food is served on paper plates and plastic cutlery. The menu is also simple and easy. But the food is excellent! And this is what makes this place so great! The coffee is also very good. My mother and I ordered a waffle sandwich which was large enough to save the other half for lunch later. My son had the chocolate waffle and loved it. This is a very family friendly place. The service is also very good. The owners are there and working behind the counter, cooking and serving. We would definitely come back and support this local business.

It was my first visit. The cafe is very clean, nice decor, and the service is great, very hospitable and friendly. I ordered the Breakfast Trio combo. The waffle was perfect did not have to reheat it. The fruit was fresh and the eggs and bacon were delicious. My husband got the omelet combo. He loved it. We are definitely coming back to try every item on the menu. They're open till 2pm so it's perfect for breakfast brunch and lunch. I can't wait to go back for more food.

Despite it says under Amenities "vegan options" we literally asked the worker who went to the back and asked. She kindly apologized that they don't only their fruit bowl. I don't appreciate it when a business owner has ONE option on the menu and they are able to post "vegan options", which is plural for more than one option lol!

I was out in Vegas visiting, and stumbled upon this restaurant. Great service! Nice little spot, clean, and OMG, the waffle was amazing! Loved how they suggested what their popular menu items were! Definitely will be returning when in Vegas again!

This spot is always a waffle go to! I've ate here a few times and today was the same as all the times before. The food always taste good and comes out from the kitchen fast! All of the employees are always very friendly and nice. I wish the seating and ordering process was more like a regular sit down restaurant. The interior could use some freshening up. Overall I love this spot and will continue coming back

When we arrived there wasn't many people. We walked inside and we're greeted by the staff. The menu is expensive. Our order for 4 people with tip was 28.00 making it pretty affordable. Each of us enjoyed our meals. I do have to say the potatoes were amazing, the were definitely crispy and cooked in bacon. We are excited to try the chicken and waffles next time.

Great breakfast spot if your around the area. The Waffles Cafe had mane options. I decided to try the waffles and chicken. You can choose tenders or wings and thighs. The thigh was perfectly cooked, crispy skin and super juicy chicken. I added the strawberry butter to my waffle and gave it a great flavor. The breakfast sandwich was also good. It contained bacon, ham and eggs. Make it a combo with a hash brown and a drink. Service was awesome

I've had breakfast here many times. Let me start by saying they have consistently been great. Food is always freshly made and coffee is good. We ordered waffles and chicken...tenders and wings to be exact. They're perfectly fried and come with a spicy sauce & strawberry butter. The waffles alone are less than mid but when you add the strawberry butter with the strawberry syrup ( or regular syrup) it's an excellent combination. They serve you quite fast and the restaurant is small but has plenty of seating. My boyfriend and I love having breakfast here...hope you guys do too. Off Aliante and the 215.

We ate here before playing golf at Aliante golf course. We arrived at 9am on a Friday. They were about half full. It's a small dining room. The ambiance is pretty strip mall-ish but the food is good quality. The oatmeal was steel oats which is supposedly better but I don't know the difference between that and regular oatmeal. Why oatmeal? Trying to lower the cholesterol man!! It was fine. Comes with a liberal amount of chopped fruit in a cup, brown sugar and granola. My wife had a waffle and scrambled eggs. The eggs were fluffy. The waffle wasn't warm enough to melt the butter. You order at the counter and they bring it to you. They have many different waffles so this is the place if you like them. One great thing is that you can choose what type of batter they use. Prices are reasonable.

Random Yelp search for breakfast while mom was in town. Was looking for something delicious and filling, but that did not cost the equivalent to dinner on gold platters. Found this little spot, and jumped in. Interior reminds me of a cross between a renovated donut shop or a Boba tea spot. Ordering was done at the register. The hostess/waitress was nice, but did not come across as welcoming at first. She dryly guided us through the menu, and seemed to perk up a bit once our ordering was complete. The menu was full of options, from fruit covered to all types of other toppings, and includes a build your own waffle section as well. I settled on chicken and waffles, because... duh. Lol Cute tip: you can get chicken tenders, wings or thighs as the star of your meal. There was the option of ranch, hot sauce, and some sauce (I can't remember the name of) which after tasting it, reminded me of chick fil a sauce with lots of cayenne pepper. The meal came with 2 eggs and a side. I opted for a side of seasoned potatoes. Mom ended up with a waffle, eggs and ham with fruit and whipped cream on the side. The waffles were good - although they were not spectacular, they did not need any syrup. I forgot to mention I opted for chicken thighs (because....duh lol), which were very tasty. One thing I can't stand is faux flavored wings (all the seasoning is on the outside) - which these definitely were not. They were fried well, and were not heavily battered which allowed for flavor minus the over floured texture, and still maintained a juicy inside. I would return just for the chicken to be honest. The seasoned potatoes were tasty. The fruit side on my mother's plate was a healthy portion of pineapple, grapes, blue berries and strawberries. Was a great starter while waiting for the piping hot food to cool a bit. The whipped cream was sweet and tasty as well. I was pleasantly surprised to run into, what seemed like the owners, who were a very nice couple who greeted me with a warm smile. Overall, great experience, and I did not mind sharing my experience with them on the way out the door.

I had breakfast here very dissatisfied and disappointed. We ordered bacon and eggs omelette and hash brown. It was soaked in oil. The manager asked if everything was ok and when we gave him our honest opinion she was pissed off. She offered refund or redo the omelette and hash browns and we wanted refund and was pissed off. She finally brought the refund receipt and did not apologize. She has a nasty attitude and would never go back there. Anyone going there if your ordering eggs or omelette watch out your food soaked in oil and they serve it on paper plate and on paper. Additional I ordered waffles and it was soggy and soft. The atmosphere is totally cafeteria style and service is bad

To start off, I don't leave reviews but this place just deserved one. It's a family owned shop that just doesn't get it right. I went in with my father and at first it seemed promising. The restaurant looked cozy, a little out dated in all fairness and the pictures of food looked appetizing. We ordered our food which was just two waffles, a side of eggs, a sausage patty, two sides of chicken, a soda and a shake. It came out to around $60 which was way more than what we were expecting to pay for such a small amount of food. We sit down and had to wait more than 40 minutes just for our food even though it was just us dining at the time. We ate and everything was just mediocre the waffles were nothing special, the chicken was dry, small, came in tiny portions that were over seasoned, the patty looked like something you find at a school lunch, and the eggs were browned. To give credit, the only "good" item they had was the shake but considering it's just ice cream and sugar, I would find it hard to mess up. From the cost of what we paid plus the wait time, we expected more food or at least bigger portions. In summary, this place is just meh, it's not worth the time nor money that we spent. The food is something you can easily replicate at home. The service is standard compared to other places. If you're in the area I would skip this place as you're not missing much. Left still hungry and won't be coming back.

Service was good,took a minute to get food and order but food was worth the wait. Only bad thing was butter changed taste of waffle even with syrup. Make sure to not use so much butter. Proportions are fair for the price would suggest breakfast special.

I really like their chicken and waffles! I got it with tenders both times I've been here but you have the option to get them with jumbo wings or thighs for an up charge. The chicken is cooked perfectly moist not dry and the breading is just right. The waffle is so tasty with the strawberry butter that I don't even use the syrup. I also really enjoy their grits which is savory not sweet. They have plenty of items on their menu to choose from. The workers are very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of seating and they do a good job keeping it clean inside however I chose to take the food to go both times I've been here because it's a little too warm inside for me. I really like this place.. I hope they open more locations since none of their locations are near me!

The food is decent, but you have to wait a while to place an order. Was trying to go low carb and asked for a substitution for toast that comes with the omelet like fruit but the cashier there were no substitutions so not sure I'll come regularly.

Looking for gluten-free breakfast and found this ! Now don't let the cafe style fool you, this is down home, finger licking, make you want to hug chef the‍ kind of food. Now I was sooo hungry and it was sooo good, I forgot to take photos of my chicken tender and waffles with the strawberry butter (yes strawberry butter!!) and warm syrup, but trust me it was the bomb.com (do people still say that?!? - anyway). This is going to be a regular for sure. Oh yeah, I forgot the staff, super friendly ....this place is A+!!!

Just stopped by today while waiting for AAA to open. Definitely a surprise when I walked in. It was very clean and pretty inside. The menu was very large. It was easy to read and understand. We got the Las Vegas Special. Everything was phenomenal. The waitress came over and greeted us after having a seat. She signed us up for the rewards program and explained all of the specials and points system. I definitely will be back. I recommend everyone gives this place a try. It is family owned.

For a place that has 0 atmosphere (seriously... it's kinda like a fast food place?) and the food is served on disposable plates with disposable utensils... the food is AMAZING. It was simple breakfast food but literally the most perfectly cooked waffle, eggs, bacon and grits I have ever had anywhere. I would go out of my way to get breakfast here again and next time I would try some of the more interesting items on the menu - but they do the classics right!

Found this little gem next to my house, gotta say I love it. Very bright and vibrant inside, was greeted instantly along with a detailed explanation of the menu. Good vibe inside for sure. Prices are very fair! large portion of food that was very tasty along with Lots of choices when it comes to sauces and flavors. I got there chicken and waffles with what looks like homemade strawberry butter and topped with blueberry syrup on my waffles. Eggs,bacon, 3 large chicken tenderers fried w/ blazon sauce. Cup of fresh coffee for 17$ How awesome

Food was good . Very basic but no complaints . Self serve, employee offered to explain the menu to us. But we already know what we wanted. Second thought I wish I would've asked because I saw so many other options. It looked really good as well.

I wish I could rate this place higher. Five stars isn't enough. First coming into the restaurant we are always greeted with warm smiles and welcoming. Very clean restaurants even the bathroom. I love the fact the owner, Mrs Kim comes out and greet everyone personally. I can't really say what's my favorite dish because I fall in love with everything I eat. Each week my husband and I come in and I try something new. They have never disappointed me. Everyone go out their way to make sure we get the best service they offer. Great customer service, great atmosphere and extraordinary food.

As first time customers we were treated so well! . The menu board was explained to us. Every little detail was thoughtfully considered. The coffee was great , waffles were amazing! The syrup was served warmed and we were constantly asked if there was anything we needed! The owner and staff were friendly, caring and attentive. This place will exceed your expectations! My husband found this delicious food on Instagram and said we had to try it out... let me tell you the menu is amazing waffles for days in every way you can think of. Oh let's not for get the chicken it definitely reminded me of my Aunty's chicken!! Good southern flare that's for sure. The owners are very very nice all staff is amazing. Try their watermelon lemonade as well. You know everything is good when the music that's playing reminds you of your family on a Sunday morning. Very clean establishment makes you feel like you are home.

This place is awesome!!! Many waffle combinations, and you can ask them to make it to pancakes!!! Very friendly staff and owners. I'll choose this place over the chain breakfast restaurants anyday. Shoots if I could buy a bucket of their chicken I'd have that for dinner also.

Cute spot just about a mile away from Aliente Casino in a strip mall. Walk in to the restaurant and order at the counter. The lady working at the counter is VERY VERY NICE. I wish I got her name. In addition, the worker from the back kitchen was also a very nice man and too bad I didn't get his name either. Food: * Chicken with Waffle * Side order of scrambled eggs and bacon I was not a fan of the waffle but the chicken was good. I added a lot of butter and maple syrup. The BLAZING SAUCE was AMAZING!!! I dipped my chicken in it and loved every bite. The scrambled eggs and bacon was meh. The service was a bit slow. We probably waited long because of FRESH fried chicken or because there were a lot of orders ahead of us for take out. Overall, I will give them another try and order something else. I will however recommend the fried chicken.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! The food is horrible . $75 for food that tasted so bad , I'm pissed. Then when we ASKED about what kind of batter the waffles were made with , because they tasted sour, the manager (I'm guessing) came out with an attitude, telling us how we are tasting the yeast in the mix and how she makes everything fresh so she knows nothing is sour. There was no reason for her to have such a defensive attitude when asking a question. She didn't ask if there was anyway that she could make it right or anything substituted , she basically dismissed us . I was out to eat with my family who bakes, I know what yeast tastes like. The chicken tasted dry and under seasoned . The blazing sauce is probably one of the worst tasting sauces I've ever had anywhere. The ranch was warm. They ask for a tip before you even get the food , then you have to bus your own table . The couple next to us even said the waffles tasted strange and the best thing about the place was the coffee. I agree with them. Everything else was horrible. Horrendous decor and lighting as well, just did not have a good experience at this place . I will never go back and I will definitely warm as many people as I can to not go.
