Baraka Cafe in Cambridge Finally Gets Beer and Wine License | Eater Boston

"The Prudential Center outpost of the noodle chain is temporarily closed for renovations and is expected to reopen in about three weeks; the brand also operates a Seaport location, while its decade-old Harvard Square restaurant closed a year ago." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

1. They served the chocolate cake with ice cream BEFORE the entree. Ice cream melts ok? I told the server about it. She just said, I told you food comes at different time. 2. It took a lifetime to get a glass of water and a check. Tired of asking the servers multiple times for a check. 3. Just overpriced Asian-y food. Chicken from chicken ramen is dry as a jerky. 4. Recommend if you enjoy wasting your money and time

I had such a wonderful experience thanks to Daniel Muforo, the host and general manager at Wagamama. His upbeat, positive energy is absolutely contagious — you can’t help but feel welcomed the moment you walk in. Daniel has a rare ability to make every guest feel seen and appreciated, and his enthusiasm sets the tone for the entire restaurant. It’s clear he truly enjoys what he does, and it elevates the whole dining experience. Wagamama is lucky to have him!

For a chain, the wagamama concept is great but as an Asian, I felt that the performance from the perspective of the food was kind of OK but not knock your socks off. Great tea too start with and then a fairly pricey donburi. Service was good and I like the ambiance of the restaurant. Decent choice for the Presidential Center but there are better choices nearby.

Nice Asian fusion that I visited two days in a row. Ramen is good, and the pad Thai was surprisingly good too! I am not a big fan of their gyoza which gives me a strong “flour” feeling with small fillings. Their healthy juice taste good!

The service is quick and super sweet people + environment as well. The food is so tender, amazing, and juicy. I recommend coming here after an all day and relaxing to eat some nice Asian food. The smoothies are the best as well. I got the bao, Korean fried chicken favor, and it has the best amount of spice and texture to it. My server was super great her name was Stephanie, she was so welcoming and sweet, I will be coming back here trust.

My wife and I ate here during our visit to the Prudential center and were happy to find such a great restaurant serving Asian cuisine. We both had ramen to eat and the flavor was fantastic. The service was alright, we definitely were left wait for refills and the food took a little longer than one would expect for how slow they were when we got they. The atmosphere was great a but a little too dark for my liking.

Walking around the Prudential Center in Boston, one is always a few steps away from any number of eateries. And most are for the visitor traffic that mostly abounds. And in this milieu deciding to eat at a chain restaurant may not even be a weighing factor. In that frame of mind, I decided to try the Wagamama, and found a pleasant delight. The place has an open but a very communal seating arrangement. Probably a smart way to manage a modicum of comfort, but also sustaining heavy traffic. The staff all the way from the usher to the servers are very polite and run the place very smoothly. I settled for a starter plate of Chili Calamari (fried squid) and pleasantly found it to be a taste above average. The spicy cilantro dip was fresh and had that spike to meet the spicy aficionados expectations. My main course was the Spicy Salmon Teriyaki with soba noodles, broccolini, and miso that made the morsels mouth watering. The server Joshua brought a very bright attitude and added to the overall experience. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, but a very good meal with quick service in a lively ambiance, this place will not disappoint. Maybe you will share the same sense of satisfaction, with which I write this review.
