This is the most luxurious meat experience I’ve been to in Japan. This is a 3 hours long divine tasting meal where each course just gets better and better. A counter with 10 guests with an open kitchen of 5 professional Chefs preparing the food before your eyes and a 1:1 service by knowledgeable waiters. It’s very expensive- we left roughly 70k after having drinks and upgrading the main course- but its value for money most definitely. Highly recommended.

My husband and I ate here while in Kyoto and this truly may have been the best meal of our life, everything was SO good. Each dish was interactive, prepared beautifully and tasted even better. We sat at the main counter and the vibe was so nice. We loved being able to watch the chefs cook and prepare the food . The staff were really so sweet and so kind and helpful. We had Richi and Tatsuki and both were incredible. I would absolutely recommend this place for a wonderful dinner just make sure to book your reservation in advance.

The various Wagyu cuts of meat we experienced were uniquely special, and the stars of each dish. The pairings were on point, and the presentation was lovely. Watching the chefs put together not only our dishes, but the rest of the restaurants dishes gave me an even deeper respect for how demanding that job is. The staff were all incredible. Highly recommend this experience.

We booked on recommendation from another traveller. The food was delicious and we have a lovely chef - Kakoa. It was fun awaiting the next dish. Meat was cooked perfectly and servings were very generous. I found the wine list a bit limited and you could only buy by the glass. We really wanted to book a counter seat (we like action!) but this was full - the only onto we has was a private room and this added $55 aud pp on top of the bill. An expensive night but a lovely experience.

We went to this restaurant during our trip to Japan. We found him by chance, on Instagram. The price may seem high but it is not. Indeed for the service given, the quality of the dishes, the work done in the kitchen, the setting and the sympathy of the staff, it was well worth the money we gave. The dishes were all delicious and served with finesse. We came out of it with a full stomach and a full head of memories. Thanks

This was hands down the best meal we’ve ever had. The whole experience was incredible from the fun of watching the chefs cook right in front of you, to the warm and friendly service. You take your shoes off and sit at a beautiful high-end bar, which makes it feel special and intimate. The wagyu itself was unforgettable. The sirloin cut was out of this world, and even the thinly sliced tongue was amazing so flavorful and tender. The wagyu tail soup was rich and comforting, and we even upgraded to try another version of the tongue sirloin, which was absolutely worth it. By the end we were happily stuffed. The staff made the night even better, incredibly kind, and when we left in the rain they even handed us an umbrella. Since it was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a dessert tray topped with a sweet little plaque that made the evening so memorable. Also little PSA: if you haven’t had plum wine, know that it’s not like a rosé, it’s more like a dessert wine. Super high quality, but just a heads-up for anyone who doesn’t love sweeter drinks. This was a truly unforgettable dining experience in Kyoto, cannot recommend it enough!!

A really enjoyable experience! Slightly showy, but in the best way possible and they back it up with quality food. My favourites were the beef tongue, and the oxtail soup. Tsuda was a kind and warm host, and all the staff and chefs were so friendly and cute! Bonus point was when the Geiko walked in. I was soooo full by the end of the course. I would definitely recommend this place, and am already looking forward to my next trip back :)

An amazing experience that reflected detail and intention. From the very beginning we were enthralled with the artistry of cooking, and efficiency beheld by all in front of us. The level of hospitality was second to none. Would highly recommend this experience. It's worth it!
