"This no-frills dim sum restaurant operates like more of a takeout spot. It’s very casual, with only a handful of tables for those who choose to dine in. There are limited choices of dim sum, but the menu includes all of the classics. There’s a photo menu for those who need assistance ordering. Find typical items like custard buns, egg rolls, steamed rice noodles, pork buns, chicken feet, and shrimp dumplings. Prices are about $5 per dish. Since items do sell out, call ahead to reserve." - Kristie Hang

Service was good and most importantly, almost all dim sum was great! It's one of my favorite places in San Gaberial Valley!

Google
Mostly take out but few indoor tables. Fast service. $15 credit card min. Food was served at great temperature and ready in 10-15 min despite weekend brunch rush.

Google
Best dim sum I’ve had since living in the Bay! Everything made me go yummmm! Soft pillows of goodness they call Coconut buns were divine! Soup dumplings, pork buns, lotus balls, egg yolk buns, all fresh, tasty, not greasy, just ahmazing! Only 3 stars atmosphere because it is simple, take away focused. Which is fine. Clean and light. I think there is seating that was blocked off behind screen - maybe because there is construction in parking lot.

Google
This is a takeout dim sum place, so don't go expecting full service and bunches of tables here. I really liked their egg yolk custard buns and siu mai. I would come back if craving quick dim sum on the go!

Google
Thanksgiving morning, decide to get some dim sum to eat. Found this new place on yelp, price is reasonable, the food is pretty tasty, however, all have very little fillings in them. The best dishes for me are the salted egg yolk bun and glutinous rice. As for my 6 year old boy, he loves the egg rice roll, Chinese sausage bun and fries donut. I will come here again but only for their certain dishes.

Google
My new favorite dim sum spot. They are more of a to-go type of establishment but there are a few seats to grab if you’re looking for a quick bite. You order and pay first, then they will call your number to pick up your food. I’m a pretty basic eater when it comes to dim sum. I love cheung fun, shiu mai, paai gwat (spare ribs), bolo bao, and nai wan bao (custard buns). This restaurant overtook the location Bahn Mi Che Cali was at. There might be a wait as some items, such as cheung fun, are made to order so it’s super fresh. When eating there I wish they packed my items so I’m wasting less styrofoam. I feel bad throwing it out right after consuming the food inside. I would be happy if they shoved everything into one container or just gave them to me on a plate. If eating there let them know you are and they’ll also give you tea which I thought was nice. You know it’s a real when the lady up front yells orders to the back. Lol. Oh, there is a menu with pictures of each item on the counter in case you need a reference. I don’t speak Chinese but was still able to order (their son speaks English but wasn’t present some days I visited). Fav dishes: cha sui and cilantro cheung fun and custard buns (#2 on their menu). Parking: Can be plentiful or limited depending when you arrive. Payment methods: Major credit cards ($15 minimum) and cash. Seating: 4 small tables as in the included picture. Notes: As of 6/7 they will be closed Wednesday’s. All other days 8am - 4pm.

Google
This place is meant for takeouts, only a few tables and chairs inside. The open hours are only from 8am to 4pm, service was fast. Pretty reasonable prices, considering the portions were big. They close on Wednesdays!

Google
Newly opened dim sum to-go restaurant that took over the Vietnamese to-go fast food place. They do have decent dim sum items with reasonable prices. For a fast dim sum fix without waiting for a table, this is the place to pick up some of your favorite dim sums including, sesame balls, har gaw, Siu mai, egg rolls, glutinous rice in lotus leaf wraps and more. Most of them are under $5. The dim sums tend to be sold out early. They are still in soft opening mode. Maybe they have not worked out their work flows yet. They are trying provide good service but seemed to be disorganized. I guess we just have to give time to work out the kinks. There are few tables with chairs for people to eat their dim sum but it’s self service as this outlet is meant for take outs.

Yelp
I like that this is one of the few places that is open early for dim sum. Instead of taking Porto's back to the Bay Area, I love bringing a variety of asian food back. Bless this place for opening on time. Workers were nice when I ordered a bunch of food. I got a complimentary egg roll! I loved everything. I had siu mai, har gow, taro buns, pork spare ribs, shrimp and chive dumplings, chueng fun. Order via paper provided or at the cashier. Since no one else was at opening, I ordered with the cashier. Utensils and napkins provided with take away orders. Credit cards accepted.

Yelp
$4.99- $6.09 a dish, +$0.20 on weekends This is a small shop mainly for takeaway dimsum. Delicious: Siu Mai, Taro Puff (could use a little more taro), : Fried Glutinous Rice with pork Could be better: Egg yolk custard bun (flavor was good but filling was on thicker side and bread was a little denser not airy, didn't need actual pineapple), Bean curd roll (maybe not braised long enough, loosely rolled, not much filling) Overall a solid option for dim sum to go. The dim sum is a generous portion. Friendly service. Easy to order by checking off a paper sheet with chinese and english.

Yelp
I was in the neighborhood and had a craving for dim sum so I stopped in and picked up a few things to try. The lady working there was super friendly which is a departure for the impatient and abrupt attitude one typically encounters at this type of places. The shumai and hagau (shrimp dumplings) may not be the most delicately made but they were decent enough. The rice noodle roll stuffed with chashu and cilantro was also not bad. The best was the pineapple and custard filled pineapple buns. I'd come here just to get them.

Cindy S.

Yelp
This to-go dim sum spot was great! I fully enjoyed the items we ordered. We tried the staples... shumai, sesame balls, glutinous rice with pork. It was quick and good. I would do this again if I was in a time crunch and was craving dimsum. There was a small area to sit and dine but definitely was not geared towards that as the tables were not cleaned after each party left.

Christopher T.

Yelp
Was in the area and craving for DimSum. It's a small place but has all the typical DimSum dishes and some noodle & rice dishes. It can be packed in time but it fast pace. Staff are nice and some can't speak English much but very helpful. The foods are good at reasonable price. Since it's a small place, it can be messy here and there but if you are here for the foods and the reasonable price...you're all good.

Mary L.

Yelp
I decided to try this place. At around 2:30 pm they already ran out of items like eggroll, red bean pancake etc. So they tried to substitute, causing some confusion. The cashier was very frustrated by the cash register not working so she was less in tune with my order. She gave the last beef rice noodles to the guy following me instead of getting it for me. Most tasted authentic and delicious and lots of fillings. But the sheer size of each item just turned my appetite off e.g. haw gao too huge for one bite, beef balls were very hard to cut into quarters and the sesame balls were like tennis balls. The cashier does not speak Cantonese but the workers around her do. I didn't leave any tips in the tip jar as I did not feel any good service. I think I will try more dim sum places in Monterey Park first.

Kelly W.

Yelp
I enjoyed this dim sum spot, it's not as crazy as others and they have your basic dim sum and other entrees. The place is set up for mainly takeouts, as they only have about 3-4 tables available. Service is pretty fast, upon entering you grab a paper menu and mark the food that you want and give it to the cashier. Paid and wait for your number to be called. The order process is simple and fast as they have everything written out on paper and photo for reference when ordering. Overall the food all tasted fresh and flavorful! Best of all the price is affordable!

Linda C.

Yelp
Well-run little takeaway dimsum place in shopping plaza that is anchored by Good Fortune Supermarket. Good amount of parking and diverse selection of foods, from bite-size "touch the heart" food items (dim sum 點心 literally means that) food items to hearty Chinese soul food like baos (or filled buns) and savory congee, a person can skip the tea service fee and gratuity elsewhere and dine here at one of its small tables instead. Of course, you can also take out!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
I liked that the service was fast and everything tasted fresh. Will definitely come again as it is slightly cheaper than other dim sum places. The only downside is that there is not many tables places to sit at and no air conditioning in the sitting area. Otherwise it is perfect for take out. Of all the items I got, I really enjoyed the chicken feet, fish ball (huge!), shrimp wrapped in rice noodle, and turnip cake. Hargow for me was a little dry, but big. Parking is easy. Wouldn't bring a date here, but would definitely do pick up for family and then eat at home.

Vince L.

Yelp
Sometimes I want dim sum but don't have the time to eat at a traditional restaurant. I like that we have this option for takeout. I think the quality is better than most such places in the area. Lots of options, including the traditional ones such as har gow and siu mai. These are the two basic dishes that everyone judges the quality of a dim sum place on. Everything I tried was tasty and was steamy hot. I will definitely visit again.

Ivy Jane A.

Yelp
We came in nick of time as they were closing. We ordered chow mien and we were able to order quickly. I paid $6.49 for one order and got it within 10 minutes. The ambiance is clean and calm. When we got home, we tried the noodles and it was delicious. We'll be back again for more tasty dimsum.

Francis D.

Yelp
This small store packs a lot of flavor in their food. We had a variety of 9 items that ended up to about $50 which is a great deal in this economy. My favorite would have to be the fried taro and hakaw. The fried taro was filled and cooked perfectly. The hakaw had two large shrimp inside. The congee was good and filled you up. I just wished they had a bigger place to sit down and enjoy the food. I was also hoping for chili oil to accompany my meal. Good value.

Kathy M.

Yelp
The service of this place is fast and convenient. Price is reasonable and they do take card. To be honest, the dim sum was okay. We ordered the shrimp dumpling, pork shiu mai, egg custard bun, shrimp rice noodle, BBQ pork steamed buns, and the deep fried glutinous rice with pork. So the food was 4/10 Service/convenience 10/10 They do have a single bathroom that is large enough to fit a wheelchair. I don't remember seeing a baby changing station. There is street parking and there are some parking spots inside the Plaza as well. We tried it, probably won't be returning because nothing special caught our eye. Sorry!

Yelp
Dim Sum in San Gabriel named Wah Sing Dim Sum is a fast-casual spot that mainly looks like they a ton of takeaway orders for people. Came here with a friend to enjoy lunch and I'm glad that they had a few tables here. It's a small spot so I wouldn't suggest large groups to dine in. But they offer takeaway as well. Love their chicken feet and also shrimp dumplings! If you aren't a pro at ordering dim sum they have a photo menu so you can see and look at what it is first.

L L.

Yelp
Foods is authentic. You don't come here for the Service or ambiance . They have 4 tables and a few chairs They do have a lot of to-go order's I would come back again if I'm in the area

Stefanie A.

Yelp
this spot did not disappoint! we came because all other places were crowded and had 30 min waits. FOOD: most of it is fresh, some of it i will say was not as hot as it could be, but a majority was PIPPING hot and very flavorful. SERVICE: great, but don't expect to be dined on because this is not that type of place. you order at the counter and take your food to the nearest table AMBIANCE: what you would expect for a take out place. there are only about 2 four person tables and 2 two person tables so don't expect to eat on site unless you wait for a table to open up

Rick S.

Yelp
This is a solid place I found when I was in the SGV and did a random Yelp search and looked at the photos and reviews If I lived in the area, this "take out" Dim Sum spot could very well be my go-to source. The shrimp dishes were great and the steamed char siu bao, pork bun was sweet and fluffy, not dry and pasty as some places have 'em. They have an indoor dining area of sort you can pull out your dim sim and eat... the benefits? No need to tip nor that Tea surcharge (if you don't drink tea) that you have at restaurants.

Novia E.

Yelp
It's pretty pricey for about $5 a plate in the weekend, considering this place is designed for to go orders. They only have like 4 sets of table for people to sit if they want to dine in. There's no actual utensils, so be prepared that everything will be on to go boxes and use to go utensils. They don't even have tea but I managed to order it out of the menu for like $1/ cup. Parking is plenty in the Plaza.

Mari J.

Yelp
This place opens as early as 8 am except Wednesday. Walked in this is a fresh of breath air since they are so friendly, smiling and catering at early in the morning. Ordered Har Gaw- full shrimps 5/5 Pork Siomai- 5/5 Pork bbq bun 4/5 Chicken Bao- 5/5 Friend Turnips- 5/5 Chicken Feet- 5/5 The place is clean - I was observing them as they were cooking and preparing my order. The tables and floors are clean as well. The shopping area has a lot of parking, in a grocery store area. This us a good Dimsum olace for dine in or pick up, the price are reasonable and it taste goos too, will be back.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Five stars for the best tasting dim sum I've ever had!! The service is really great too!!! The place is very clean as well!!! I definitely will be coming back over there again when I get the chance to!!!! Thank you guys so much for everything!!!

Yelp
Wah Sing Dim Sum, on San Gabriel Blvd., is just below Las Tunas Drive. The only time they've disappointed me is when I forget they're closed on Wednesdays. Other than that they make some of the yummiest dim sum around. They make my favorite charsiu.... chasu? chashu?? -- anyway, favorite bbq pork steamed bao here. I don't know what makes them so good. I think there's a hint of ginger in that filling. Their stir-fried noodles, $5.89 under the "Chef's Special" section, are also a steal. Their steamed sausage rolls are good as well. I've only ordered my food to-go. I've only seen diners inside once in a while although admittedly I usually stop in the early afternoon. The ladies behind the counter are no nonsense but sweet; they've thrown a sample my way once or twice. The wait for your food can be more than a few minutes, especially if that item you want isn't fully steamed yet, especially if they're busy, but the extra wait is worth it. They're a dim sum hole-in-the-corner of a strip mall dominated by a Good Fortune Supermarket, which means tons of parking. In fact, every single time I've been there, there's always another customer-- or several customers-- waiting to order, or waiting to receive their order. Speaking of ordering, they have the standard golf pencils (next to a bottle of hand sanitizer) for filling out the order form. There are also laminated menus with photos. Wah Sing is a dim sum dark horse that won't disappoint. Unless you go in a Wednesday

Stephen C.

Yelp
This has become our dim sum to go spot. The flavors of every thing is good. Hai gow and bolo baos remain my favorites. Prices are reasonable. Parking is easy with a huge lot. Service is good. Better if you know Chinese lol. Very casual vibes. Overall: will return for some mf dim sum

Susan G.

Yelp
Was looking for a place to grab a quick dim sum bite and stumbled across this place! They have a few tables here for people to dine in but I saw many people taking their orders to go which was what I did. Their prices for weekends are $4.99 for A, $5.29 for B, and $6.09 for C items. Weekdays are 20 cents cheaper compared to weekends. I tried their shrimp har gow, spare ribs, leaf wrapped sticky rice, big chicken bun, rice noodle with bbq pork, stir fried noodles, and preserved egg & pork porridge with a side of fried dough. The quality was decent for a go to dim sum spot. I really enjoyed their spare ribs and shrimp har gow. Their big chicken bun had a bit too much ginger in my opinion. The stir fried noodle came with a HUGE portion size for only about $6. They even threw in some complementary cookies for our meal which was a sweet touch!

Yelp
In the midst of 626's competitive dim sum market, Wah Sing Dim Sum has the best value and is arguably better than most dine in restaurants--each item is made fresh in-house with no misses and its main dishes are not too salty, desserts not too sweet. Ham siu gok is normally soft and chewy at most dim sum joints, but not here. Each time we've ordered it, it's been fried to crispy perfection. Steamed dumplings are plump and moist and generous in filling. The space and ambience doesn't have much to show but it's clean, meant to be a quick grab and go, and their food demonstrates their earnest dedication to serving great quality food. The workers have been pretty kind and respectable. However, ordering is easy for non-Cantonese speakers as well. There are picture menus at the front of the register to point to and paper menus with pricing in English and Chinese. Located in a plaza with a super market with a large parking lot, there is ample easy parking. Would have included photos but each time it's been cleaned out with nothing to show. I would definitely recommend (and has been approved by both my parents and grandparents)!

Sid D.

Yelp
Family run Dim Sum place in the heart of San Gabriel! Cute tiny place with 4 tables but most of the people come here for take-outs only. Food is delicious and fresh. I definitely recommend this place and I would come again to try different things in their menu.

Jeff L.

Yelp
Great value and good dim sum, to go. Fast and convenient. If I lived in the area, I'd probably be a regular here. Everything ordered was pretty solid.

Jenny S.

Yelp
An awesome find! So glad most dim sum places are closed on Tuesdays since it led us here to discover a new yummy spot! Some of their dishes seem a bit untraditional to me, they add their own spin on it which is nice ---sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf: the hubby loved the flavor of the rice and it was interesting they put salted egg yolk inside which is usually in zong zhi ---chicken feet: perfectly cooked but had a char siu flavor which was new to us haha ---shu mai: a staple for the hubby and he approved ---pineapple buns with custard: outside crust is a little firmer than I prefer, but cleaner to eat (crumbs don't get everywhere). Love the consistency of the filling, just the way I like it The place is small with few tables inside, it's catered to the to-go crowd more than the dine in, but we were able to eat there NOTE: the building is undergoing construction but they are still open, so don't let their outside appearance deter you

david C.

Yelp
10/10! Good service, quick, great food and selection. Their beef balls have the best flavor and bounce than other places. Cheung fun noodle, har gau not too thick. Hate when to go places have thick noodle or wrapper.

Lu W.

Yelp
I went onto Yelp to look for dim sum and found this place. Purchased bake BBQ pork baos, Pork and vegetable baos, pork shu mai, shrimp haw gao, Egg custard tart, and turnip cake. All delicious . As someone mentioned their dim sum was flavorful, not greasy, fresh, and traditional. Reasonably priced (higher on weekends). Ready to go back and try more. PS. They even have chicken feet !

B C.

Yelp
Don't think the quality of the dim sum is good to justify the high ratings. Sticky rice barely had anything in it. Flavors are a bit bland. Egg custards tasted old.

Jeff L.

Yelp
This is one of the few newer takeout dim sum places here in the SGV. My family was craving dim sum so I made the trip here. My mom wanted to try this place out so she told me it was the old banh mi che cali and the old Kuo's Bakery for all you folks that have been around for a hot minute. I had come here during lunch time and I was trying to gauge how everything flowed since I had never been. I quickly noticed the line along the counter and people filing out their order forms. I grabbed a sheet and started furiously marking down things. The better thing to do was also get one of the menus with pictures so you have an idea what everything is. Once you're done and/or are still in line, you then then pay at the register. There were a few tables here inside but it looked like most people were getting things to go. I had to wait a few minutes but then one of the ladies there will call your order number and hand you a bag of all your food. I think I was hungry when it ordered so the bill started racking up a lot. The lady is where very hospitable and I think they realized I didn't speak Cantonese so it was a smooth and easy process to order food. I thought the food was pretty good overall. They do all the items well so I can't pinpoint anything specific. Parking can be a little bit problematic here in this plaza especially if there's a lot of people going to the market. I try to park on San Gabriel if I'm able to and then I'll walk over.

Lawrence L.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place. The last time I tried it was closed due to a building failure and it had to be remodeled. Finally was able this weekend. Although I only ordered 5 items everything was very well prepared and fresh tasting. I ordered the normal siu mai, har gow, fried pork sticky dumplings, char siu bao and egg tarts. I never got the egg tarts. They must have read my orders sheet wrong. Instead I got the steamed egg custard bun, which were actually very good. The pricing here is reasonable and the quality very good. I will return to try other menu items.

Victor M.

Yelp
What is "cheap" dim sum? It is a no frills fast takeout dim sum. Each dim sum item tends to be priced $0.50-1.00 less than what you would find at a traditional dim sum restaurant. The quality can vary, but Wah Sing Dim Sum is definitely one of the better places at a good price point. The quality of the dim sum is somewhat average to above average. Both the pork sui mai and shrimp har gow were fairly good for "cheap" dim sum. The pork sui mai had a nice flavor and was fairly meaty. The shrimp har gow skin was a little too thick and needed a bit more seasoning. The fried turnip cake was fairly typical and good. Overall, they have a good selection of tasty dim sum items that won't break the bank. Service was good and friendly. You can also see about all the dim sum items on display before committing to them. Wah Sing is definitely a good fast alternative to satisfy your dim sum craving at a more affordable price.

Jame N.

Yelp
Small place with few tables. Not good for big group to dine in. This place is more order to go dim sum. Limited of choices but mostly popular dishes. Party of 3, we only order one of few dishes to try. I am glad I did because some dishes wasn't fresh made, like fried taro cake. It's dark and dry, that I don't even wanted to try it. Overall flavors is on light side. We are very disappointing. One of my group had upset stomach after it while my other friend and I are okay.

John D.

Yelp
5 stars for fresh steaming dim sum, good pricing and friendly service. Upon arrival I was greeted with two free almond cookies for my daughter's after lunch treat. I was amazed at the affordable dim sum selections at approximately $5 dollars! We ordered 8 dishes and the bill came out to be only $44 dollars. The dim sum was fresh and came out nice and hot. I don't think you can find any place in the SGV at these prices and this fresh. I will be back.

Julius M.

Yelp
It is an absolute necessity to have a go-to to-go (see what I did there?) dim sum spot and Wah Sing is my new favorite. Most of the dishes are already cooked in steamer trays. They just need to pack up your food once you've ordered. The standouts were: sausage rolls (fluffy bread, delicious chinese sausage), pork and century egg congee (big quart size portion and lots of pork/egg), and the red bean pastry (pan fried glutinous rice around red bean paste, haven't seen this elsewhere). Their menu is actually quite expansive and included all our favorites, which were solid: chicken feet, turnip cakes, fried glutinous rice dumplings, choy sum, bean curd rolls, taro puffs, and siu mai. This place is very nostalgic and simple. I love having it around as an option.

Henry C.

Yelp
I've been to many To Go dim sum places in Monterey Park, Alhambra and San Gabriel and this is the best in terms of flavor, portion size and price. Price is roughly $5 per dish. They do have about 4 tables if you want to eat there but there is no table service. I would highly recommend this place for your dim sum fix if you don't want to wait at a traditional restaurant.

Maggie S.

Yelp
Small place but seems well-kept. Not really a dine-in place but there are a few tables. I saw people bring food (in disposable containers) to the tables and started eating. Staff is really hustling and you can tell they are working to take overs, check with the kitchen, etc. I ordered about 6 items to-go. The lady said wait about 10 minutes. It was more like 25 minutes. Not that I had an issue with that. Small eateries like this are run on tight manpower. Each staff I encountered was very pleasant, despite them rushing to attend to customers. Since it was a weekday, I paid $4.79 for A items, $5.09 for B, $5.89 for C. I found the prices reasonable and so were the portions of food. Their fried noodle (#47) is excellent and fills the whole container. Very well-fried, tasty without being salty. Not too oily, unlike some places. There was another place along Las Tunas or Main that really skimped on the noodles. Not going back there. Also, their prices were too high. I asked for hot sauce and they gave me only one tiny cup. I didn't bug them for another since they were so busy. Shui mai - certain bites tasted of flounder - 5/5 Steamed bean curd roll - 5/5 Beef balls - 5/5 Shrimp/chive fried dumpling - 5/5 Shrimp/leek steamed dumpling - 5/5 Fried noodles - 5/5 Shares the same parking lot as Good Fortune Supermarket (go to frozen section and look for fried fish/seafood balls- $2.99 for the packet, maybe a pound, can't remember) - very good. I'm glad I bought 2. I can see parking being tight when it's rush hour. I'm definitely returning to this place. I would love to see them do well.

Jiali L.

Yelp
Service was terrible, food is decent and considering inflation, their price is decent. This looks to be a dim sum express, to-go type of place except there is nothing "express" about it. The ladies working there today made me wait 40 minutes without any explanations and ignored me when I tried to ask them about my order. I only ordered 9 dishes, I'm not sure why I had to wait 40 minutes while watching several customers before me not get their food because it was taking too long and also seeing the customers that came after me get their food first. They are very disorganized and only seem to be really helpful when you speak Cantonese. I will not return here because I don't want to wait this long for express dim sum food ever again. If you phone in ahead to order, maybe give it a good 20 minutes grace period from what they say just in case they are lying about the wait because they seem to have trouble with time management. No dim sum is worth this hassle.

Karissa L.

Yelp
Pretty good for a to-go dim sum place! I've been here twice so far and their food tastes good, is consistent, and is also priced fairly. The restaurant is quite small with a few tables inside. Workers were really friendly but were speaking to me in multiple languages haha. There's a paper menu where you mark what you want. My husband really likes the deep fried/crispy taro from here and the siu mai gets a stamp of approval from my picky 4 year old. My mom also said the rice noodle rolls were well made. Overall, I'm glad there's another dim sum place nearby. I'll definitely be coming back.

Jessica W.

Yelp
The place is very unorganized and most stuff gets sold out quickly by noon. The dimsum itself taste so so and some not that great. There are better dim sum express you can get in SGV. I hope they change the system a bit and make it more smoother when ordering. And people who ordered ahead of us got their order before we did. It wouldn't be fair if we were there first and it was sold out because the worker packed it slower than the other. my suggestion: From other dim sum express I suggest people can choose from what they have and pack it from what you guys have then pay after. It is very hard to tell when you order a lot and it's already bagged and you never know if anything is missing.

Yelp
This family owned place has one of the best delicious dimsum food. We ordered for 24 people and they prepped it well. Very easy to order catering Recommend beef balls, egg rolls, deep fried pork dumplings. I thought we were getting chicken puff but got chicken deep fried balls (different from #26 on menu although I ordered 26 as well). Turnip cakes are good too #catering .

Yelp
:: Food :: My favorite out of the bunch would have to be the Spare Ribs and the Rice Noodle w/Minced Beef. :: Service :: Since it is their soft opening, they are still working out the kinks. Their flow is a little off right now. We ordered with the paper, listing the quantity we wanted for each dish and it took a couple of staff members to get everything in order. Then they got to the Pork Siu Mai order and the lady asked if we needed it and of course we were like.. No, we don't NEED it. I preferred if she would have just told us it was sold out and not ask us several times if we needed it. Even though deep down I needed the Siu Mai.. who gets dim sum without Siu Mai?! Lol :: Parking :: They share a parking lot with Good Fortune Supermarket so on weekends it may be difficult to find parking. :: Overall :: Decent spot to get dim sum to-go if you are looking for something quick, as long as they have the dishes already cooked. :: Tip :: I do not recommend ordering the fried dishes and whatever is on the clear shelf they have in the front if it is at the end of the day. We ordered 40 minutes before they closed and the "Fried Dough" aka youtiao was as hard as a rock and suuper oily. The bowl of sticky rice was also a little hard.

Yelp
This is to Wah, the business manager. Perhaps I wasn't clear. It was the other restaurant that we were at earlier Thad didn't have any of these things. Your restaurant had all of them and I was more than satisfied!!!

Yelp
Grabbed a few dim sum items to-go. I'll update my review if my opinion changes as I try more of their items, but so far ok. I think this is more on the 3.5 stars food-wise, but I'll round to a 4. It could be promising and I do like that this place is pretty convenient in general as a dim-sum to-go option, with ample parking shared with the Good Fortune Supermarket. Pricing on-par with dim sum in the area. + I like that the fried items look fresh... which I would expect for a new place but they do a good job with using fresh oil as far as I can tell. Fried items are a nice golden color. I like the fried taro puff. Nice balance of fried coating with filling inside. + Beef ball could use some improvement. It's chewier than other beef balls I've had in the area, which can be a good or bad thing. The chew is on the tougher end though, so I wasn't thoroughly impressed. Other point is that the beef ball did not taste very flavorful on its own, so it needs sauce to pair with it. I'm skipping this item next time or will see if they offer any sauces to go with this that I might have forgotten to ask for.

Yelp
Finally there is a pick up dim sum place with variety to remind me of home where there were a lot of these places with competitive pricing. It's all decent and price points are right for take out: har gow, shui mai, bean curd rolls, shrimp and leak dumplings, pan fried chives cakes, pork & veggie buns, bbq pork buns, egg yolk custard buns and rice cakes w red bean (which I haven't had in over 25 years)! My favs from here are the pan fried chive cake, bean curd roll, pork and veggie bun, and the rice cake w red bean. The skin of the shrimp & leak dumpling is a bit thick but at least it wasn't mushy nor fall apart. I would say 3.5 stars but I rounded it to 4 because I like the option of dim sum take out.

Yelp
First time trying this "to go" dim sum and I must say I am pleased. Please note their hours are 8 am - 4 pm and I arrived around 4:45 pm but they were prepping for the next day and allowed me to purchase the left over dim sum items from that day. Items are about $5 a plate (3 items to a plate) and I tried the sesame balls with red bean paste, the steamed spare ribs (definitely coming back for this!) which comes with pieces of kaboucha squash, the shrimp egg roll, the deep fried pork dumpling, steamed big chicken bun, egg tart, baked bbq pork pastry (yum!) and the red bean mochi. I was given a few freebies as a first timer. The young man was so nice and personable in front. In interest of using less styrofoam, I was informed that one can bring your own containers if you prefer not to use the non-biodegradable styrofoam containers although it may be difficult for them to accommodate on a super busy weekend. I am happy they give this option as an environmentally conscious consumer. I was also asked if I wanted utensils to go (I love, love how they are keeping with the times and didn't just mindlessly throw some in to make me a happy customer. I am drowning in plastic utensils and wooden chopsticks that I don't need nor want to use when I can wash and reuse my nicer metal utensils at home). Family run, I'm glad they took over the old Banh Me Che Cali location. It's very clean and neat inside. I was instantly greeted and helped as I stood there drooling over the dim sum items. 5/5 for service. (Sorry to read those who have had mistakes on orders.) I am going to come earlier so I can try more of their steamed items that I love like shau mai, the leaf wrapped sticky rice, and steamed rice noodle.
