Wahoo Beach Bar & Grill

I was genuinely disappointed with my visit here. Our waiter seemed completely checked out we were charged for two huge portions of fries even though the menu clearly stated it should only be $3 more for upgrading a side. He never once checked on us during the meal for refills or anything seems like the staff just stands around and only talk amongst themselves. To make it worse, my burger came with two top buns — who even does that? Every bite felt like a sesame seed attack in the worst way possible. For the quality and service we received, the food was way overpriced. Definitely better to go elsewhere for better food and better service.

I have stayed at Ashore twice now and enjoy the wahoo bar (was named something else in the past) the staff has always been great, our bar tender Ian was the best, made great drinks and I applauded the difficult guests he handled with grace. We ordered food twice and no complaints at all the reason it's a 4 for me is the fries did taste as if they went cold and reheated and lastly the burger and nachos were the only two things on the menu I could eat :( but they were yummy. Live music most nights which is always fun builds the atmosphere and beach view.

We had a very good lunch. First the positives. Food was very good. Service was great. Right on the beach was awesome. The only negatives was it is a small menu especially if you have kids and the price is on the expensive side.

Lenny's is why we like staying at the Clarion. Super tasty and reasonably priced drinks. Usually have good experiences with the bar staff too, better in the evening and closer to the bar than earlier in the day at the tables. Food isn't anything special, your typical bar food but it does the trick. Live music is fun. Nice, outdoor place to wind down the night before heading to bed.

$25 for a sysco burger is wild. Fun fact, 85% of oc restaurants use sysco, and they all outrageously up price. Go to surfin Betty's on 15th street. They get their beef from local md farms and 2 burgers there wont cost you $25

Amazing beach bar with great drinks. Always a good spot to kick back at and have a cold drink while overlooking the beach. The food menu is small and it is very basic, but it’s expected at a beach bar hotel and it is still very tasty. The live music in the summer is great. Been coming here with the entire family for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. We always make it a point to post up here during a beach day!

Laid back, service was good from friendly staff. Prices weren't great, but it is a hotel bar & grill so I wasn't expecting bargains. Stayed at hotel 5 days and there were a few times that food took slightly too long to get made and delivered. But the sun and sand and live bands every night made it fun.

Me and my sister sat at the beach bar for over 20 minutes. No, bartender would look our way. We watched them go to 5 people over top of us. Never looked our way, we watched a woman literally walk up to the bar set 2 minutes and they greeted her mind you we're black. We were the only 2 black people at the bar.
