Wahoo Beach Bar & Grill

I was genuinely disappointed with my visit here. Our waiter seemed completely checked out we were charged for two huge portions of fries even though the menu clearly stated it should only be $3 more for upgrading a side. He never once checked on us during the meal for refills or anything seems like the staff just stands around and only talk amongst themselves. To make it worse, my burger came with two top buns — who even does that? Every bite felt like a sesame seed attack in the worst way possible. For the quality and service we received, the food was way overpriced. Definitely better to go elsewhere for better food and better service.

I have stayed at Ashore twice now and enjoy the wahoo bar (was named something else in the past) the staff has always been great, our bar tender Ian was the best, made great drinks and I applauded the difficult guests he handled with grace. We ordered food twice and no complaints at all the reason it's a 4 for me is the fries did taste as if they went cold and reheated and lastly the burger and nachos were the only two things on the menu I could eat :( but they were yummy. Live music most nights which is always fun builds the atmosphere and beach view.

We had a very good lunch. First the positives. Food was very good. Service was great. Right on the beach was awesome. The only negatives was it is a small menu especially if you have kids and the price is on the expensive side.

Lenny's is why we like staying at the Clarion. Super tasty and reasonably priced drinks. Usually have good experiences with the bar staff too, better in the evening and closer to the bar than earlier in the day at the tables. Food isn't anything special, your typical bar food but it does the trick. Live music is fun. Nice, outdoor place to wind down the night before heading to bed.

Amazing beach bar with great drinks. Always a good spot to kick back at and have a cold drink while overlooking the beach. The food menu is small and it is very basic, but it’s expected at a beach bar hotel and it is still very tasty. The live music in the summer is great. Been coming here with the entire family for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. We always make it a point to post up here during a beach day!

Laid back, service was good from friendly staff. Prices weren't great, but it is a hotel bar & grill so I wasn't expecting bargains. Stayed at hotel 5 days and there were a few times that food took slightly too long to get made and delivered. But the sun and sand and live bands every night made it fun.

Decent food options. Friendly staff. Wish they had happy hour on weekends.

Very small portions, pasta salad was warm, someone took our plates twice before we were done eating. We felt very rushed.

Nice beach bar with live music. Cocktails were great and the food was good but a little high priced especially the salads. $20 for a caesar salad with nothing on it is kinda steep.

Nice outside bar at the Ashore hotel. Limited food menu, but food is available to order from here Delicious "crushes" here! Right on the beach, outside of the outside pool There was also a singer covering 80/90s pop music, which was nice! She sounded really good too There was a TON of flies here at this time tho (a Tuesday evening). We were told it was because of the winds or something. Literally was dodging and ducking flies every 30 seconds lol No outdoor fans

We went to this place memorial day weekend and a lovely lady named Christina waited on us. She was the only one in the bar running around.. all of the other waiters depended on her for everything. The food was fantastic.. they have a new chef. The chicken sandwhich was real chicken not the frozen stuff. One of the waiters told us that all of the tips are combined and split so it doesn't matter who waits on you everyone gets the same thing. This bothered me because the one working really hard got the same money as those standing around. We didn't discover this until we went back the next day but it didn't seem fair. Is this the way most resturants are working now?

Friendly bartenders. Visited September 2023. Was surprised to find the remodel did not include outdoor fans at the tiki bar. With the extreme temps fans would have made the area more enjoyable. Otherwise my drink was icy cold and tasted great. Service and scenery was great.

Very slow service. I found it strange that the male waiters were just standing around the bar chatting while female staff was running around. I had to walk up to the male staff to ask for menus after we sat at our table for 10 minutes and nobody approached us. Nice location and our food was ok, but very slow service and it wasn't even busy night as bunch of tables were empty.

The service was terrible, burnt burger, the cups and straws were to small, ants, and bad food. However the view and beach setting was nice.
