Nice little neighborhood boutique wine shop, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Come here as your destination, or arrive early to shop for wine before dining next door at Wahoo Grill. We have discovered some different varietals here that the big box stores do not carry. Support your local businesses.

Me: Do you have a good alcohol-free wine? Owner: Ariel Dealcoholized Cabernet is one of our best sellers in that category Me: 🤢 Owner: 😄 What don't you like about it, and what are you looking for? Me: it tasted like water with a splash of grape juice, for color. When I used to drink, I enjoyed hosting tastings. Now that I no longer drink, I still want to enjoy the complexity of real wine - terroir, tannins, acidity... Owner: I haven't tried many of these (on the non-alcoholic shelf), but Wölffer Estate makes good (alcoholic) wine. Me: 🤯 that's what I want! I want a real wine from a real winery, just without the alcohol. Fast forward a few months, I finally popped the cork, and my only regret is that I didn't splurge on a case of Wolfer Estate - Spring In A Bottle from Wahoo Wine. I could gush about this NA/AF bubbly rose, but we're not here for that. Wahoo is an intimate space with a wide selection and a very welcoming vibe. I wasn't scoffed at for being alcohol-free, nor was I pressured into a sale. My visit was an overall lovely experience. I'll be back 😉

I cannot recommend Wahoo Wine and Provisions enough. Every time I go in there, the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Special shout out to Beth, who has helped me choose fantastic wines time and time again. No pretension, no trying to push you out of budget or upsell. A great locally-owned wine shop. Check out their tastings too!

Best wine store I’ve been to yet, knowledgeable and friendly group, with an excellent selection.

Stopped in here while I was in town for a conference. Beth and Kim were so helpful and excited to talk me thru a bunch of incredible natural wine options. Beth even suggested a perfect wine for the dinner I was going to that night. One of the best natural wine shops I’ve ever found. I’m looking forward to next stop in! Thank you!

We, unfortunately, did not have a good Mother’s Day brunch experience at Wahoo this morning. It was so disappointing as we were all looking forward to it. We went there last year for dinner on Mother’s Day and really enjoyed it. We thought it would be great to try their special brunch this year. It was absolutely disappointing. To start, when we went through the buffet line, the servers were rationing the food in such a shocking way. I wasn’t even that hungry thankfully, but it was shocking. They gave a very small scoop of eggs (like a tablespoon), one small square of French toast, and literally counted out the fruit piece by piece (one cube sized piece of watermelon, one cubed sized piece of honeydew, one cubed piece of cantaloupe, and one grape). I have never gone to a place where they rationed the fruit in that way. This was not at all an inexpensive meal, so it’s just so surprising. The food itself was not good, which again was so shocking given the quality of the dinner that we had there before. The eggs seemed like powder-like eggs, the hash brown type dish was soggy and cold, and the chicken sausage was cold. We just tried to make the most of it and enjoyed each other’s company despite the meal. However, it seemed like we couldn’t leave without one last disappointment. When we went to get our cars from the valet, we were told we couldn’t use our cards as we were told when we entered. My daughter and I were surprised because the attendant had said so when we arrived but then upon leaving said we had to use Cash app or Venmo. We ended up just paying cash but again were just disappointed with the whole experience. It was not at all the Mother’s Day experience that we were completely confident that it would be.

The shop is so quaint and well put together. The staff are always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Great place to run into if you have no idea what you should get whether be for a gift or just for a special dinner.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, good selection at a variety of price points. Definitely take advantage of the free tastings on Thursdays and the monthly wine club!

Yelp
I love wine - so when I'm in town I try to always make it to a few of the local small wine shops - Wahoo Wine is def one of them - I love places that know their products - where they can make suggestions to help in the selection process. I was offered a tasting - which I felt offered that little personal touch. They also have an eatery attached - which I haven't been able to try yet.

Yelp
Such a cute wine shop and delicious restaurant. I learned of the location through weekly emails about wine tastings. Stopped by the restaurant afterwards which also looks delicious! I intend to go back. Great bites from the bar(which also has the loveliest bar staff): Brussels Chicken meatballs Any and all dips Tips: The wine tasting give very small pours. This is not a hang around and taste event although they are very knowledgeable and have great wines. They also host affordable group tasting events. Also! Happy hour is every day of the week. 5-7. 2-1 apps and drink specials. Yummmmm.

Yelp
On Saturdays from 4 - 7 pm, Wahoo Wine and Provisions hosts a free wine tasting. This alone is worth the effort to check it out, but there's so much more. You'll find an excellent selection of wines at multiple price points, along with local Atlanta artisanal offerings including bitters, chocolate, and sea salt. Bonus, there's free parking and it's right next to the East Lake MARTA station. Extra bonus, if you're dining at Dish Dive let them know and you'll get an extra 10% discount at checkout. (If you want a white wine and need it chilled before dinner, ask and they'll take care of you. It's only an extra five minutes!) Please know this space is tiny, with narrow passageways between racks of wine and wine-related accessories. This can make things interesting during the wine tastings if you suffer from claustrophobia and it gets crowded. Take a deep breath, savor the wine, and if necessary, step outside for a bit of fresh air.

Yelp
This place is a neighborhood treasure! The crew is friendly and knowledgeable, their wine selection is incredible, and they have been patient and completely unpretentious in helping us learn more about wine. After trying dozens of delicious wines from here from $12-$15, I realize that the absolute last place anyone should be buying wine is the grocery store. The shop hosts tastings and has even done some cool Zoom and outdoor, distanced tastings during Covid. I don't think we could have made it through the pandemic without our friends at Wahoo Wine and Provisions!

Yelp
Always super helpful with wine selections. My go to place when I want to gift wine or try something new.

Yelp
I went for a free Saturday tasting and spoke with some of the employees. They were knowledgeable, kind, and made the experience amazing! I ended up buying a few bottles and intended to go back

Yelp
Informative staff with a great orange natural wine selection. Happy to have this little gem in Decatur.

Yelp
I love stopping in and checking out the vast selection of wines they offer. I've definitely found a few gems here. The owner, Ski, is super nice and knows his wine! This is a wine tasting every Saturday from 2-5 and it's definitely worth going to.

Macy S.

Yelp
Great local wine shop with reasonably priced wines! I'm no wine connoisseur, but I really enjoy the free wine tastings on Saturdays from 4-7. It helps me decide what wine to get! They have a good $10-$15 range of wines which is perfect for me. The guys here are very friendly and wine lovers. We met the owner as well and he was great.

Yelp
Says they're open until 9 but when I got there at 6:55 the lady working the store literally locked the door and took the back door to her car, lame!

Yelp
This is a great wine shop. Excellent selection, interesting choices, good price range, and with a friendly, knowledgeable staff. You can browse on your own or ask for recommendations. They also have a nice selection of local merchandise and bar supplies, mixers, bitters, etc. I love this place. If you live in the area, this is your wine store.

Yelp
Wahoo is my favorite wine shop in Atlanta. The free tastings on Saturday afternoons are a great way to try and buy new wines. The staff is always very knowledgeable and the current rose selection for summer is excellent. There are a few parking spots reserved specifically for the store if you just need wine. Or stop by after having brunch or dinner next door at Wahoo.

Yelp
Opened by the folks that own Wahoo Grill, the provision store is a fantastic addition to the area. They have parking adjacent and a cute spot right on the street. This space is open for events and tastings. They feature some fantastic selected wines and cheeses as well as other gourmet products. Also fresh flowers and the best part - wine growlers!! Ski is usually in there and very helpful with choosing a great wine or any other requests. Well worth the visit, they also have products to cater to different price ranges so dont shy away from checking it out.

Kaybee B.

Yelp
Love this place! Free tastings on Saturday and they always have some good local products to try. Skee (sp) is very knowledgeable and friendly. I have to go back at least once every 2-3 weeks to get my growler refilled.

Yelp
I attended the wine tastings in Avondale for years. I came here after they closed and it is wonderful. A little too crowded and no seating for the bigger wine tastings but I still enjoy myself. The owner is wonderful.

Yelp
I went in to find some bottles of NY Chardonnay and some Lake Niagara, but they had almost no selection of NY wines, but the gentleman named Ski took my phone number and promised to see what he could do to get some, then give me a call, which I never received. I didpurchase another type of wine. After 3 weeks of not hearing from them, I went back in and explained the situation to a young woman, who knew nothing about my conversation with Ski, and again, took my phone number and promised to research it for me. Again 2 weeks go by, so I went back into the store. The young woman, at first, didn't remember me, but after explaining again, she vaguely remembered, said she passed the information on to Ski, and said she would check with him. I promptly told her to forget it! If either of them had valued my business, they would have researched it for me and given me an answer. I told her I would be giving them a review on Yelp.

Yelp
I am obsessed with this wine shop. Ski, the owner, has a fantastic palate. I swear you could throw a dart in this shop and whatever it landed on would be great. Ski carries a big range of price points, so you can find something you love for porch sipping or a special occasion. WWP also does wine growlers, which are fun. The shop also has a good selection of local cheeses, salts, soaps, etc. Check out the wine tastings on Saturday evenings.

Yelp
Great little wine shop. The employees are always nice and give great recommendations. They also do wine tastings and wine growlers!
