Wahoo's Fish Taco

What a find: I have been looking for a casual Mexican eatery priced reasonably and Wahoo! Great tacos, enchiladas and sides of rice and beans are delicious. I also loved their flavorful brown rice and spicy beans and salsa bar. I'll be back soon to try their happy hour specials!

Great location close to my office. Love the menu choices. I enjky the carnitas taco slaw. So good and it hits the spot. Slow roasted and juicy carnitas balanced with slaw and aioli. Service was awesome too. Friendly and personable. Will return again with co workers and thus time for HH.

Highly recommended place! First thing is when you enter, great service by the cashier, explains everything with a lot of patience, even if you have other people waiting, the food was great and the place is decorated in a special way, sports bar way. Looked for a place to eat some Mexican food and I’m happy I found this place, now I know to go there more often. They even have a bar on the other side if you want to sit on a bar and very reasonable prices.

Great little spot right in Boca Park. It’s a twist on Tex max and they do a very good job. It’s a restaurant bar combo. It’s casual and great for big or small groups and any age can come it with restrictions. The protein bowl was excellent and the rice and beans of all flavors were perfect. I highly recommend coming here for a good quality meal. If you just want drinks and something small it’s also great.

Wahoo’s gives off those laid-back Cali surfer vibes. My wife had the crispy fish tacos, I got the burrito version with smooth sauces, both were flavorful. Service was quick and friendly, but the place could’ve been cleaner—especially the bathrooms. Still a solid spot for casual, tasty food with great vibes. 🤙

This was a fun place! Cool beachy vibe, very clean, outdoor fireplace, and inviting. And the menu had quite a few really good options for vegans like myself. My fish and meat eating table mates were happy as well. And the pricing is budget friendly and appropriate for the portion sizes.

My first time in and it could not have been better. Extremely friendly staff, the food was fantastic and the drinks were ice cold and perfect. Loved seeing that you guys are selling Maui Lemonade Hard Seltzer! 🤙🏻

Jeslyn is a great bartender. Love the shrimp tacos and the Maui onion rings with the spicy ranch.

This is a great little neighborhood spot. Drinks are cheap, food is reasonably priced and well-portioned, and the head bartender keeps the pour going. I've been here a few times for casual dinners and also once arranged for a coworker's farewell party--we intended to go to the bar across the way, but Wahoo's came through when the other bar dropped the ball last minute. They do have some gambling machines but not the whole bar top like some places; so, you can actually sit at the bar top without fear of being booted for not gambling. It's also a dining establishment too, so no smoking permitted. I haven't had a chance to yet but I'm sure once temps drop, I will also take advantage of their outdoors space/patio! Highly recommend if you want a lowkey night to watch your favorite football team play or a chill night at the bar without breaking the bank.

Walking in, I'm reminded of Chuy's I used to go to in my old neighborhood. Except they don't have complimentary chips. This was disappointing for me. I did enjoy my wet burrito as it was great tasting and plenty big enough to satisfy any hunger. My son also enjoyed his tacos. I did try to find a quieter spot until they decided to turn the TV on just behind us which had a game on that nobody was watching. I suppose they assumed we like loud TVs. The service was a bit dissatisfying as she looked as if she would rather be anywhere else but there. No smile, no "how's everything?", and certainly no welcoming vibe. Overall, I enjoyed the taste and portion size. The ambience is not my style and service of "take it or leave it" left me with indifference. At least I tried to quell my curiosity.

Went here to get the kids meal. We got a quesadilla and french fries for about $7. My kid liked the quesadilla. It had a good tasting cheese. The service was really fast and they were polite. It was also very clean facility and not busy because we went on a weekday when it just opened. This is a nice quick stop if you need to go get some fast in the area. You can also sit and eat there and dine in if you're looking for something a little bit more laid-back. There's ample parking and there was seating outside.

Came in at 7 PM on a Friday night completely starving and parched. I sat down at the bar and after five minutes was finally greeted by the bartender- who took my beverage order. I then watched him for 10 minutes as he watched football and ate his own food without preparing my beverage or taking my food order or even offering me water. Meanwhile, I am sitting there dying for water and stomach aching from hunger- meanwhile the bartender is enjoying his evening entertainment forgetting about me completely! He seemed like a nice fellow, but come on dude this is ridiculous. After about 12 minutes, I decided to leave- and will never ever return.

I am posting this review about Wise Fish tacos in Boca Park, Las Vegas, Vegas, Nevada First of all, Service was impeccable. All started when I first came in. There was a gentleman named William went above and beyond his call of duty to help me and my family out with suggestions, opinions making our experience number one. William was all over the place in this was fish tacos location in Boca Park. He made sure everybody that was there was satisfied and content with their food in their experience. William did cashiering he did food serving. He did ordering he worked around the bar area just all over the place making sure everybody's smiling and having the best experience The portions of the food are amazing. They're huge and so delicious. Very good ingredients and healthy. I've been to Wahoos before they're all pretty good, but I will always go to this establishment in particular because of William you guys worth ethic and loyalty to the company really shows and everything that he does Nice thing as he checks on you too checks on every table to make sure everybody is happy and if they need anything, he's there I will always dine at this Wahoos fish tacos in Boca Park, Las Vegas, Nevada because of people like William I usually don't do posts like this, but this is definitely one post that I am happy to do Thank you all for reading my post. Mediocre at best. Table was super sticky which was a real ick. Nothing special here. ‍

Food - was microwaved, the slaw was hot, the fish was too thin and the chips / salsa tasted old. Service was great fast and friendly. The atmosphere was very loud with a sports game on the tv and a rowdy bunch in the corner. This isn't a good Wahoos when compared with Wahoos in Manhattan Beach or Torrence, CA.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - was walking around the plaza on a Wednesday debating what to eat when we saw their Daily Special for Wings & Chips for $8.99 and decided to give it a try. We got the Cajun Rub with Blue Cheese for the carrots and celery. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the wings were! Moist center with a crispy edge and the rub gave it just a touch of earthiness. The salsa was quite good as well with the chips. Service: 5/5 - friendly and quick service Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. Large restaurant with plenty of seating Value for price: 5/5 - quick and friendly service with decent snacks!

Had the best experience here thanks to Ares (I hope I'm not misspelling)! He was so attentive, really took pride in his work, and was beyond nice to my kids. I will be a repeat customer for his service alone!

Solid spot with friendly staff and great drinks. Nice grub selection as well. My friends are regulars here and I'm sure there's a reason for that. My review is based on my experience and everything so far has been great. Order the Baja bites for a great pairing to any beer.

The food here is always great and the staff is super helpful. Will, is always the best when we go there. I've been enjoying wahoos since Burbank Ca when they opened. I definitely suggest the Breakfast Burritos. My fave is the Steak and Egg with Bell peppers. Sorry for not having a pic, but I was hungry. The ambiance is nice and calm here. Bartenders are attentive to all who sit at the bar.

Tacos make the world go round, and Wahoo's has great ones. I really miss the mushroom taco, but they still have plenty of other great options. I love the carnitas! I even enjoyed the fried fish, and I typically cringe at anything fishy. The range of salsas makes me giddy. I highly recommend the green Maria's sauce. The onion rings are great, but skip the nasty ranch. The chips aren't spectacular either. And those Cajun beans, ohhhh baby! Can't wait to go get my next fix. Oh, I almost forgot! They have a very kid friendly dining area on one side, but if you want a more adult oriented experience, they do have a huge bar!

This was my first time at Wahoos. I have to say that the service Astrick provided was excellent. She was very attentive and kind. I bought the Maui bowl and was not disappointed! Will be coming back

Wahoos menu is great my reason but my review was because twice now my food has not been warm but other than that location is great menu is great and a lot of healthy options prices are okay they do have a lunch option tho. they do have a bar and gaming.. and by the way service was very pleasent

I've loved Wahoo's since I was a preteen growing up in the OC. It's a great casual dining option for fresh food. The tofu is seasoned perfectly and I love the two taco plate with tofu tacos with citrus slaw, black beans, and brown rice. Prices are very reasonable. Ice Tea is delicious. They have a bar area too, and screens to watch whatever games are on. I stick to the food side with tables/booths. On this visit they were slammed as well as shorthanded, yet the girl at the front was very polite and was working hard to get all the orders out. Thank you Wahoo's!

Once upon a time. Long long ago before I was in the Yelp Program. I use to come to this location all the time and eat or hang out at Wahoo's Fish Tacos. This place is fun to be at with friends. Or let loose after work. After so many years. This is still my favorite place. It has a sports bar area, Indoor or outdoor seating. I like places with Screen TV's. This place has many qualities screen TVs to watch your favorite sports. By so far when it comes to Screen TV's this place blows any place that has screen TVS to watch. I love all the Decors and Tables. Kind of remind me of my child hood days when Skate Boarding, Snow Boards and Bikes were truly legendary. Heads up music's loud, But perfect for this atmosphere. The food is still Great! I see new stuff on here that wasn't around then. The menu is simple to order. All the staff are still great also.

I've loved Wahoo's for more than 20 years. So when it was time to do our vow renewal, i knew that i wanted to have Wahoo's cater it for us. Marissa, the GM was so incredibly warm and helpful throughout the entire process of figuring out the best menu, the arrival time for the food, and the execution of putting it all together for the event. Everyone loved the food and the catering experience felt very comfortable in our home. I highly recommend Wahoo's as your caterer and of course I highly recommend their delicious food.

Stopped in on a hot day for a quick bite and cold beer. The menu is nicely laid out by picking the type of food, protein and beans. This worked out well for me as a vegan. I was able to get enchiladas with tofu and no cheese. They were pretty fantastic, fingers crossed they get vegan cheese for the future. The spicy cajun fries were nice and crispy with a good balance of spices. Will recommend the Cali Squeeze Hefi it's great summer beer.

I'm coming back for the 'Baja dish' I always wanna try something new and wasn't disappointed. The bartender was attentive and our drinks were good. Thanks Phil We shall see you again.

Lovely experience!!! They have such a great late happy hour menu from 11:00 pm to 2:00 am with margaritas, wine, beers for $5 and food items too. Food was delicious. Our bartender Jon was such a great host. 10/10. Excellent !!!

We occasionally come to Wahoos when we are craving a healthier versions of Some of our favorite Mexican dishes. The service has gotten to be fabulous. We usually sit at the bar and they are always friendly and full of great recommendations. They have a few machines if you are a player :) or want to try your luck. I usually order the banzai bowl with extra sauté veggies instead of adding a protein (chicken, steak, tofu, fish). Everything on the plate is vegan and delicious. I order extra extra spicy! You can also add avocado for an additional charge. It is ALOT of food and I usually have more than half to take home. We tried the Cajun fries and they were good. I'm not a big fry person but they were loaded with flavor. My boyfriend orders a 3 taco platter thing (fish tacos of some sort) with rice and beans. He loves the slaw and says it's loaded in flavor. Knowing I can now eat the slaw, I always steal a bite. We definitely recommend stopping in and watching a game or catching up with a friend over a good inexpensive meal!

The pesrson at the counter was helpful and friendly. The music was loud and terrible, like a nightclub. My food was ok, but I wouldn't order it again. My girlfriend said McDonald's fish sandwich was better than the one she was having and not in a good way. The restaurant was clean and the decor is cool and there are more than enough TVs to watch the game.

Whichever sadistic a-hole decided to give me all drumstick wings (when i requested flats), that arrived soggy and tossed in sauce (even though I specifically asked for them to be dry) : I hope that you have an itch in the center of your shoulder blades you can never reach. I love Wahoo's and found them while visiting in Laguna beach but I went tonight and the price I paid $14 for two tiny fish tacos plus some fries was pretty sad. Also the fish didn't taste fresh at all. Not really worth paying that much to not be full or satisfied after

The dining room closes at 7:30!! You have to order from the bar if you want food. Im a fan of Wahoos but closing the dining room at 7:30 is ridiculous. I was in the previous night and they said it closes at 8 o'clock. I got there at 7:40 PM tonight and it was closed. The one girl that works the dining room said she leaves at 8 PM.

We have eaten at Wahoos for years and every meal is the best. I ordered a margarita and it was a 5 star drink. From Laguna California to Las Vegas Nevada we always choose Wahoo's. It also brings back a lot of memories as our grandkids loved it and it was their restaurant of choice to eat.
