Dailin Morales is an extraordinary breakfast hostess. Every morning, Dailin greeted us with her broad smile and friendliness. She would choose the perfect table for us on the terrace. Dailin’s English is excellent, which makes her a particularly precious asset for the Waldorf Astoria. As we were leaving the restaurant, Dailin always asked us about our breakfast buffet experience. And with special sincerity and care, she would wish us a good day.

As Hilton Honors Gold members, we felt truly appreciated - every detail reflected thoughtful care and recognition, making our experience even more special. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and perfectly prepared for our family. The common areas are elegant, the breakfast is delicious and varied, and the entire staff consistently went above and beyond with kindness and professionalism. The hotel’s location is also excellent, making it easy for us to explore the city. It was a memorable stay for all of us. We will definitely return and highly recommend the hotel to anyone seeking comfort, sophistication, and top‑tier service. 👍🏻

Stayed over Valentine weekend. Had a great stay. I would like to especially thank William the waiter that waited on us in the dinning room at breakfast. My birthday happen to be that Saturday not sure how he found out but he made that breakfast very special.

Hotel is nice, but branding it a Waldorf puts expectations that aren't met. In particular, public areas, and some cleanliness. Bedroom was nice though. Spa adds on 20 fee for all services which was communicated when arriving for massage. Feels like nickle and diming. Recommend including it in upfront pricing.

We just stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Panama and had the most amazing experience. We were treated like royalty and taken care of every step of our stay. From the wonderful welcome and upgraded room by Front Desk Supervisor Hector; the friendly, courteous and helpful concierges Lille and Oliver who reached out to us before we arrived, arranged last minute tours, and shared all of the great sites and restaurants with us; the welcoming and very nice hotel security Victor (Flash); the great customer and personal service at the restaurants by William, Dahlia and many others; the nice bellhops and cleaning staff; and so many others, everyone was wonderful. This is a first class hotel with outstanding customer service. We will definitely return to the Waldorf on our next trip to Panama. Loved you all!

We stayed here for 8 nights over Christmas. We booked through the AMEX program. They were busy so no upgrade was available. Pros: Every single employee we came across was super nice and wanted to make sure our stay went well. This was especially true of William, our waiter at breakfast, who remembered us after a couple of days and got our coffee and juice ready without us even having to ask. Also, the bartender at the pool was great and I feel bad I can’t remember his name. The rooms were clean and a decent size. Housekeeping came twice a day, for daily service and turndown service. They were a little stingy with the toilet paper but would bring it right up when we asked for it. It was in an area that we felt safe walking around. Lots of restaurants and a little market nearby. Cons: I will start with the worse, Christmas Eve dinner. We paid A LOT of money for two of us. We arrived about 15 minutes after they started serving and it was awful. Everything was cold. The turkey was so tough and cold you could hardly eat it. HIGHLY disappointing for a meal we spent so much on. The pool and hot tub were also a disappointment. The hot tub was only hot like 2 of the days we were there and you could tell the filtration system in the pool wasn’t working very well. We would sit in the hot tub (even though it was colder than the pool) simply because it was cleaner than the pool. The breakfast buffet was mediocre. While it’s not an awful hotel, next time we are in Panama we will choose to stay somewhere else.

We had a great stay at the Waldorf Astoria Panama. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. We also had a big terrace which I highly recommend if it’s in your budget. The pool area is also really nice. All of the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Also, the hotel is in an amazing location. We would definitely stay here again if we are in Panama City.

I I am writing this review with mixed feelings. Upon check-in at the front desk as an Amex Platinum member, I experienced a two-hour wait for my room. Diane kindly offered hotel credits as compensation, which I appreciated; while I did not find it entirely sufficient, her pleasant demeanor made the situation more manageable, and I accepted the offer. ||The breakfast service was consistently excellent, thanks to Willian, who attentively anticipated our needs each morning and provided outstanding service. Additionally, Jose made us feel very welcomed throughout our stay. ||Overall, despite the initial delays, I was satisfied with my experience at the hotel.
