Waldo's Chicken & Beer

I went at 5:00pm wasn’t too busy. Customer service isn’t much to brag about. Expect the norm with teens and young adults working there. Ordered the OG chicken sandwich. The fries looked questionable and greasy but i sauces them up and they weren’t bad. The sandwich was really good. Ordered cucumber salad and banana pudding and both were great. They also have a drive thru.

love these people like family. me and my little family comes here almost every friday and they are just the best. our daughter eats everything on her plate. drinks are the best. we love love love getting the margs made by im guessing the manager. a dread head guy. he’s awesome. i will never doubt this place! definitely recommend. he is so helpful not even just in the restrurant but outside as well.

Ordered half chicken which comes with 2 sides & biscuit. The chicken itself was ok. The cole slaw tasted like if dirty socks was a flavor, not good. The comeback sauce tasted like vinegary French dressing. The French fries were purely soggy & not good. Disappointment for $25

Food was just okay. The Alabama white sauce was flavorful on the wings but the wings were tiny. The queso was loaded with beans, onions and tomato,

They were great! It was my first time there and after looking over the menu I ordered some tenders and wedges. After sitting down and receiving my food the manager came over and sat down a tray of biscuits and banana pudding saying he heard it was my first time in. Excellent service from the night crew on September 2nd. Not from the area but I come up often for work. Will definitely be back!

UPDATED REVIEW 1/30/2023 Came here for Nashville hot chicken week and got their fowl mouth sandwich. I think Waldo's is finally back from supply chain issues as everything was fantastic, generous portions and delicious! UPDATED REVIEW 10/27/2022 Supply chain issues must have resolved somewhat because the size of the chicken quarters was much bigger than on a past visit. Everything was very tasty but a little too salty in the breading on the fried chicken. UPDATED REVIEW 2/1/2022 Came in for Nashville Hot Chicken week and ENJOYED the Fowl Mouth sandwich. It was a large boneless thigh with a good amount of spice/heat and fresh cut fries. Worth getting it even if not on the hot chicken week special. I was really struggling with the star rating as it deserves more than a three because of the taste of the food, but fell short of a four due to the value for the money. The chicken tasted really good, as did the side of white beans and collard greens, but it was the absolute smallest leg quarter I have ever seen, especially for the price. Perhaps it was just the luck of the draw to get such a puny leg quarter, and I'm willing to give it another chance because the food did taste really good. My wife's buffalo chicken salad was enormous in comparison to the size of the leg quarter meal.

This was my first time visiting this place so I wanted to try a little of everything to get a good idea of what to expect. I have to say, the fried chicken was phenomenal. Fantastic flavor and well seasoned. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything else however, was woefully bland. From the potato wedges, to the wings, just no variety or special flavors. Also very pricey! The patti on their chicken sandwhich was very thin and definitely designed to get you to want more. My family did enjoy the cheddar biscuits as well. All in all, a very good experience, just not sure if it is worth another visit given the high cost.

We love Waldo's. Food is excellent and the menu options please pretty much everyone. First time going to this location. Parking lot is a bit cramped. Drive-thru is under construction,band it's a bit tricky to get to and get in line. Food was delayed today and we had to wait about 5 minutes but it came out hot and fresh, so worth the wait.
